Book Description
Dr. Laura Schlessinger is the incredibly popular and controversial psychotherapist who hosts a nationally syndicated, top-rated midday radio talk show. She has strong convictions and doesn't hesitate to voice them to callers. She urges women emphatically to lose a domineering jerk of a lover and pick one of the "good guys," to stay home and parent the babies they've made, and to follow the dream rather than some dreamboat. Above all, she exhorts women not to blame anybody or anything but themselves if they're unhappy and their lives seem a mess.
10 Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives uses real-world examples from Schlessinger's radio show and private practice to drive the message home. And the message is that our reticence to be bold and brave often makes us act like stupid, submissive victims. Once we muster the courage to take responsibility for our own problems and to tolerate the discomforts of risk, the possibilities for personal growth and joy are limitless.
If you're looking for an all-approving hand to hold, you won't find it here. If you're prepared to take a clear-eyed look at your self-diminishing behavior and to make the move to a quality existence, there's no one better than Schlessinger to keep you honest and to cheer you on. One thing's for sure: You'll never look at your relationships, behaviors and decisions the same way after you've finished reading this book.

Highly recommend!.......2007-09-05
During a discussion with a friend of mine about a relationship issue I had, she made me promise to get and read this book. I have to say, it's a definite must read for any girl, lady or women that has any question about a relationship she's in. The author gives so many great examples of her callers and patients that I found myself able to see a clearer picture of what I was doing in my relationship.
Excellent.......2007-04-22
I read the 10 Stupid Things Men Do, and thought it was fantastic. Then my girlfriend was reading this one. I had to pick it up and find out what was in it.
Schlessinger hits the truth so consistently. And most of it seems so obvious, as if we should have noticed it right away.
Honest.......2007-02-22
I think that every woman should read this book ~ maybe even a requirement for young women in school. I wish I had read it when I was younger... I might not have squandered so many years doing all the things she says not to do. To me, this is the handbook for women ~ & c'mon, it's a quick, good, & life-changing read!
not very deep.......2007-02-21
It does not have much depth. It basically tells you one thing: as a woman, be independent, do not mentally(emphasis of the book) or economically rely on men. I do not think I learned much by reading the book. Some case stories are interesting but I would expect more depth in explaning why this is so and why this is not so.
But if you are upset or depressed because a man rejected you or something like that, this book may help you feel better because you will know that it does not just happen to you becuase there are so many other more unfortunate women.
I wish I read this as a teenager!.......2007-02-17
No one ever told me these things. This is one fabulous book. I am a university counselor and the young women I see were never told these things either. I recommend it to all of them.

Life Changing..........2007-08-30
I read The Secrets of Attraction, by Sandra Anne Taylor and decided to attempt to put into practice what I had learned in theory using the wisdom of the law of magnetism, insights into universal laws and paradoxical intent.
I created some affirmations and re-directed some of my emotionally charged energy away from disappointment and toward my newly created goals, as well as creating a manifestation journal to document the results.
Well, I am pleasantly surprised.
My manifestation journal is becoming filled with new-found abundance and prosperity that I have been attracting into my life and I am well on my way to positive, progressive, life transformation.
A must read and highly recommended!
Another of my favourite recent discoveries in New Age books that highlights romance, spirituality and life transformation is...
Nexus: A Neo Novel
Secrets Worthy of Being Very Well Known.......2007-07-07
This book is terrific. Although Ms. Taylor offers many concepts that are offered in other self improvement books, her way of weaving together positive moral guidance and a system of ethics offers a fresh perspective that is very motivating, particularly in the way she ties in the concept of the universe giving us what we send it through our behavior and attitudes.
Not what I thought..........2007-06-11
This book isn't like I thought it would be. Kinda dissappointed. But, the book was good in terms of condition and delivery time.
Secrets of Attraction: Universal laws of Love............2007-03-13
This is the next step from THE SECRET. Do you want to succeed on purpose? The concepts in the book will help you achieve just that! Easy to read and understand.
Sound Advice.......2007-02-12
Sandra Taylor, a practicing psychologist, delves into the science of success with this well-written insight into the world of universal law and how it may be used to change your relationships, and improve the romance in your life. Laws such as the Law of Magnetism, Law of Attraction, and Law of Pure Desire have achieved a wide popularity recently, which seems to reflect our current rage for advice on how to succeed and achieve our goals. In my opinion, Taylor does a good job in this area, delivering a piece similar to the popular book "Shortcut to a Miracle," by Michael and Elizabeth Rann.
If you are interested in something more specifically geared towards financial success, you may want to try the classic "Richest Man in Babylon," by George Clason, or "The 17 Principles of Creating Wealth," by Phillip Collinsworth.

Book Description
Women's recovery can differ from men's, and each person's recovery is in many ways unique. That's why Stephanie Covington has designed this workbook to help a woman find her own path-- and find it in terms especially suited to the way women experience not just addcition and recovery but also relationships, self, sexuality, and everyday life. Deepening and extending the lessons of a book that has helped countless women, this workbook makes "A Woman's Way through the Twelve Steps" that much more measured, meaningful, and clear. Unlike many "rewritten" Twelve Step interpretations for women, this guide works with the original Step language, preserving its spirit and focusing attention on its healing message. In sections devoted to each of the Twelve Steps, Covington blends narrative, self-assessment questions focused on a feminine definition of terms such as "powerlessness" and "letting go" guided imagery exercises, and physical activities.

Great Book!.......2007-07-25
The workbook is a wonderful companion to the book. I gain so much more understanding and insight to the 12 steps. Be sure to get both books, it is worth it!
A woman's Way is a terrific guide.......2006-02-22
A Woman's Way Through the twelve steps workbook is a great tool to accompany Stephanie Covington's book "A Womans Guide through the Twelve Steps. The questions are insightful and to the point without being overwhelming. I have found these two books to be an immeasurable asset to working the twelve steps.
Heads Up Ladies!.......2000-10-11
This is definitely a head's up and listen up for women in recovery....using this in conjunction with "A Womans' Way Through the Twelve Steps" is a sure way to add to any other 12 step program that you may be using. I am a person who has been in recovery for 10 years, and found that many women's issues were not being addressed and this combination is an absolute winner. It can be used by yourself, working with a sponsor or in a group ..some wonderful "aha's" have been experienced and so many women helped in this process. Read it...do it....you won't be sorry.
Book Description
American women may gobble up self-help books and careen from weight-loss scheme to spiritual makeover, but French women simply seem to know themselves, to understand what works in their lives and how to get it. From selecting that legendary per-fect little black dress to picking the right job-or man-the French girl has it all figured out. How does she eat a three course meal-with wine-every day at lunch and stay so maddeningly slim? How does she manage to keep her house in perfect stylish order, hold down a great job, and still take four weeks of vacation every summer in Italy? Ollivier decodes these mysteries and more, exploring the differences in how American and French women view life, food, love, and themselves. Laced with practical tips, engaging sidebars, and essential observations, Entre Nous is thought-provoking, delightful reading.
Customer Reviews:
A must have book.......2007-09-01
If you love everything French, you must get this book. The author lived ten years in France, is married to a Frenchman and has French/American children. I cannot think of a better combination for a woman to share in a very detailed way all the secrets of chic French.
I love this book!.......2007-04-18
I have read it cover to cover and love it I would recommend this book to any one wanting to add a bit of French to her life.
EVERY Girl Should Own this book!.......2007-04-14
This book is a fantastic read if you are interested in French culture, or if you want to pick up a few tips from the chic French.
The author divides up the book into pertinent sections on the head (attitude and thoughts), the body (how she takes care of it and loves being in her skin), the heart (how the French girl loves), food (how she only chooses the best and stays so slim), partying (she is of course very sophisticated), the home (her exquisite taste), and much more!
I really enjoyed this book and use it frequently. I already have a new list of books and movies from the little side bars alone, not to mention many, many tips from the Borrow a Page from the French Girl sections frequent throughout the chapters.
A wonderful book for a girl that wants a little more style or just joie in her vie!
intelligent and interesting.......2007-04-13
I love this book. I am an avid reader of all things which give insight into the lifestyles of the french who have a fascinating culture and some intresting quirks and ways. I am too often dissappointed with books in this genre however this was an absolutely fabulous read. Written with intelligence and in an easy to read format Ollivier has obviously done her research well and is truly passionate about her subject matter. There are lots of references to guide you towards other books and films on the topic. If your a francophile or would just like some interesting advice on a few different ways of being a modern woman then buy this book.
I have some mixed feelings.......2007-01-18
This book can be fun, yes, but it also is a bit irritating. It is one in a long line of books that tells us repeatedly that the worst European is inherently superior than the best American; that all Americans are shallow, unsophisticated, uneducated, and completely incapable of being even the slightest bit introspective.
Her French friends mostly come off as obnoxious and smug (oh how stereotypically French smugness is though, isn't it?) and frankly I don't know why an American would be friends with people who so obviously loathe America and Americans.
Granted there are parts with which I do agree. I really hate the way dieting and self-torture are exalted in our culture. I also hate that many people cannot separate between who someone is and what they do for a living. I also know I am not the only American who would much rather discuss literature or politics than whatever diet is so popular these days. Yes there is a wee little segment (about one page) in which she lists what the French girl admires about the American girl, it hardly makes up for page after page of how we are just simply inferior by birth into this culture.
At least we don't sell arms to our enemies.

Customer Reviews:
More good than bad.......2007-01-09
I received this book as a Christmas gift, and am almost finished, but wished to share my thoughts. Fiona Horne is very important to me as her book "Witch: a personal journey" (published in Australia) actually set me on my Witchy path, so I will always have a soft spot for her.
I enjoy the way that Fiona writes, as if it was a conversaton with your girlfriend, but I think maybe living in LA has changed Fiona into dropping famous people's names more often, which is a shame, but I guess that is LA. Also, I am a bit disapointed in the underlining theme of the book that females have "power over" men, and that this book will help you increase that power. Yes males have had power over females for too long a time in history, but we should know be viewing the sexes as equal.
That aside, I love the section on "Poetry in motion" on page 112 and will use that myself, aswell as the "Let it go" ritual on page 103. All rituals you can use in your everyday life. Also the story on Yhi in the introduction is a must-read for all Witches, and Fiona's explanation of how a spell works expresses her breadth of knowledge. Even though the title suggests this is a "fluffy" book, Fiona Horne is not a "fluffy" witch.
Book Description
This is the tenth anniversary edition of the classic best seller for women seeking their sacred connections. Long ago before the patriarchal period, in many places on Earth, the Goddess was worshipped. Circle of Stones draws us into a meditative experience of the lost Feminine and creates a space for us to consider our present lives from the eyes of women's ancient culture and ritual. Incorporating the most ancient symbol of spirituality — the circle of stones — Duerk weaves stories, dreams, and visions of women to lead each reader into a personal yet archetypal journey, posing the reflective question, "How might your life have been different if . . . ?"

Circle of Stones, Woman's Journey to Herself.......2005-05-02
I can't tell you how this book touched my spirit. "How might (my) life have been different," if I had read this book when I was young and not 52 years. Better yet, how different it might have been if my own mother had read this book, or one like it, when I was young! I have recommended it to every woman who will listen, regardless of age. It is an oh, so gentle, yet oh, so powerful call to reconnect with ourselves and other women for common experience. It is NOT a man bashing book, quite the contrary, it merely calls for natural balance to be restored in our world. If you are a single father of a daughter, I recommend you read this book as a way of guiding your child...read it while she is young for future reference guidance. Mother's, it is not too late for you to learn from this book, and for you to guide your own daughters with it's wisdom.
Ideal for individual reflection.......2004-11-12

Woman, with a candle lighted/to help her keep faith with her own life.../a centered presence/spreading in concentric circles around her.
Circle of Stones.......2004-03-24
This book is an excellant one to use for women's indepth retreats.
It aids in healing our negative memories. The group would focus on how to expand their horizons, challenge their mind, inspire their spirit while nourishing the soul. It is a good book for a multi-generational women's group. This book helps us to find the path to healing.
A must have for every woman!.......2002-09-12
This book reads like poetry. It is deeply lyrical and has a flow to it like a dreamy, winding stream of music. It draws you in then goes inside of you, affecting your heart and ultimately your soul. There are moments of tears, moments of smiles and moments when you will say, "Ah, I understand that." You simply can't read this book and leave without being changed by it.
Book Description
Yoga is well known for its power to create a healthy body, but few realize the emotional and spiritual benefits. In The Secret Power of Yoga, world-renowned Yoga expert Nischala Joy Devi interprets Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the principles at the basis of Yoga practice, from a heart-centered, intuitive, feminine perspective, resulting in the first translation intended for women.
Devi’s simple, elegant, and deeply personal interpretations capture the spirit of each sutra, and her suggested practices offer numerous ways to embrace the spirituality of Yoga throughout your day
Customer Reviews:
Great fresh perspective and easy to read!.......2007-07-29
Having been involved in yoga for 20 years I understand the sometimes frustration that all perspectives of the traditional writings are from a male perspective. Devi holds the sacredness of the text while bringing even more heart and compassion to the readings. Thanks! Shannon
Lovely Translation..........2007-07-24
This book is truly a gem. It discusses the Sutras from a heartfelt perspective lacking in most other translations. It will compliment any other reading of the Sutras you have done, and will add a whole other dimension. A must-have for any complete yoga library.
Simply joy & understanding!.......2007-05-13
Have not yet finished reading the whole book - so far it has exceeded my expectations in clarity &feminine inturpretation(can't spell!)of what has been a traditonaly male aspect. Highly recommended!!!
Sutras from a feminine perspective.......2007-04-27
Although most of us view yoga as simply a physical discipline, there is a far more spiritual dimension to it. The entire philosophy of yoga has been contained in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Sutra is Sanskrit for "thread" - the sutras are a collection of terse aphorisms threaded together, laying out the whole of yoga.
Translations of these sutras have been done by males over the years and although there are some wonderful books on the subject (Iyengar's "Light On the Yoga Sutras" for one), I have found these books to be rather dry. Well known yoga instructor, Nischala Joy Devi has written an entirely new and feminine perspective on these ancient proverbs. Devi writes in an almost poetic manner and substitutes words that are 'negative' with a more heart centered counterpart. For example, for Aparigraha which is often translated as non-greed, Devi uses "awareness of abundance". This is a very nurturing viewpoint that makes the sutras "friendlier" and more easier to relate to. Meditations and practices are sprinkled throughout to help intergrate the vibe of the sutras into your heart.
She covers books one and two of the sutras and did a brief scan of book three. I am somewhat hopeful that she is intending on covering books three and four (she didn't mention book four at all) in a further volume, but until then, this is enough food for thought for now.

A Woman's Spirit.......2007-01-07
Out of all the mediatation material I have used I find this is the most focused on taking care of the inner child in me. That child caused me to run in fear and procrastinate on taking care of what I need to do for me. This mediatation guide has empowered me to take better care of me on a daily basis. This is very wonderful. I ordered several to give as gifts.
Book Description

Women can immediately apply these tools and strategies for limiting commitments, identifying gifts, dealing with emotions, nurturing the spirit, burying anxieties, facing the past, celebrating accomplishments, developing a support network, and protecting dreams. The Worn-Out Woman will help the reader trade in a life of running on empty for a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. She will find and recapture her passion, finally realizing the great potential God gave her.
You’ve come a long way...maybe.
“Most days I feel overwhelmed.”
“I want to run away and start over.”
“The joy and excitement are gone.”
There are more than 60 million worn-out women in the U.S. today. If you’re among them, this book will be like a retreat for your soul.
One short chapter at a time, you’ll find simple steps to bring back the joy and energy of a rich life. What’s more, you’ll finally understand and learn to manage the sources of your exhaustion—perfectionism, guilt, unrealistic expectations, and difficult people—in a healthy way.
Story Behind the Book
We have written this book because it will provide the worn out women of today’s society with practical solutions to those who want to drop out because they are stressed out. Although some of you will look for quick checklists… wanting to jump to the “just let me unclutter my life” sections… we know the value of uncluttering you heart first. For that reason, we’ve included chapters for all areas of your life—emotional, mental, social, physical and spiritual. Most other books focus on learning to say no, simplifying your lifestyle, organization, and nurturing your spirit. Our book is unique because it includes all of these but also covers solutions for the root causes of why women do too much.
Customer Reviews:
Women of all ages need this book!.......2007-01-29
My church recently hosted a bible study with Alice Gray (co-author of this book) as the speaker. The ideas she shared from her book were so practical and necessary for every worn out woman out there in the world! It was as if she was speaking directly to me when she described what a worn out woman is and how I got this way. After hearing her speak I just knew that this book was something special and I bought a copy. This book is truly inspiring and a must read if you want to break free of being overwhelmed, stressed, tired and just plain worn out.
What Others are Saying.......2004-06-23
Dr. Steve Stephens and I have had a tremendous response to this book. At one of the seminars where we spoke, one lady came up with dozens of red, yellow, and green tabs poking out from the pages. She explained, "The red tabs mean I need to take action on these ideas right away. The yellows will be next and the green I can get to more leisurely." Thelma Wells, National Speaker for Women of Faith, writes, "Years of research, counseling, and success are jam-packed in this practical, powerful book." Bestselling author Liz Curtis Higgs wrote, "Just reading it gave me a sense of peace and the gentle assurance that I CAN make some positive, healthy changes in my too-busy lifestyle." Elisa Morgan, President of MOPS International writes, "Ahh...at last--a pathway out of the insanity!"
If you are interested in working through the book with a friend or in a group, there is guide in the back of the book. There are fun ideas to try at the end of each chapter. Because we know women are busy (why else would they be feeling worn out?), we've kept the chapters short and practical.
There's three kinds of clutter in your life...schedule clutter, space clutter, and soul clutter. The book covers them all. (There's even a chapter on how to get a better night's sleep). Dr. Steve and I have found, a woman cannot unclutter her life until she unclutters her heart. Please visit our webpage at www.thewornoutwoman.com. God's blessings!
A Reality For Many Women!.......2004-03-15
This book lept into my arms from the store shelf!! The title alone spoke to me (and most of the women I know). With it's common-sense, Christ-centered approach to living, THE WORN OUT WOMAN gives practical advice on slowing down and regaining control.
I love that the book is 'interactive' with many suggestions on things to do and a reading/study guide for each chapter. This is the type of book you want to get for every woman you know who is doing too much and being all things to everybody -- and slowly killing her soul in the process!
I'm going to lead a discussion group on the book because I know so many women who can relate. WE ARE TIRED and looking for a better way! God Bless the authors for bringing it to the forefront and summing it up with one of the most appropriate titles I've seen in a long time.

"Romance is one of the sacred temples that dot the landscape of life," writes Marianne Williamson (A Return to Love, The Healing of America). "We tend to lack humility toward love, to patronize it rather than bow before it, to put mundane considerations before the emotional need to hold someone in our arms." When we make routines and practicality more valuable than love, we deny ourselves the opportunity to experience true enchantment and a deeper connection with God. Ultimately, Williamson offers a compelling invitation to overcome fear of heartache and enter into the whirlwind mystery of romance. Chapters include topics such as "Removing the Ghosts," "Grace and Forgiveness," "Marriage, Monogamy, Safety and God," and "Bodies and Soul."
Some readers may find Williamson's theories about male-female dynamics validating, while others may find them offensive. For example, Williamson believes that males are natural-born hunters, which means men need the thrill of the hunt during courtship and beyond. "A man should never have to totally stop working to figure out his woman, not if the woman wants him to remain interested," she claims. In fact, she believes that a fascinating woman is like a "Mercedes" or "Jaguar"--she is "high maintenance and doesn't apologize for the fact." --Gail Hudson
Book Description
Three of Marianne Williamson's previous bestsellers -- A Return to Love, A Woman's Worth, and Illuminata -- explored the issue of relationships. Now, in this deeply personal collection of essays, prayers, and self-reflection, she turns to romantic love.
In Illuminata, Williamson wrote that "we experience God to the extent to which we love, forgive, and focus on the good in others and ourselves." Now, in Enchanted Love, she writes that "enchanted partnership begins with the conscious understanding, on the part of two people, that the purpose of their relationship is not so much material as spiritual, and the internal skills demanded by it are prodigious." High romance, she says, "is not about past or future. It is not about practicality. It is not about society or worldly routines. It is an audacious ride to the center of what is, at the heart of every person. It is a bold and masterful inquiry into what two people really are and how we might become, while still on earth, the angels who reside within us."
Customer Reviews:
Spirituality & Love.......2005-12-11
I am now reading this book for the second time and I love it just as much now as I did the first go around. Marianne Williamson really understands how spiritual contact with a Higher Power influences and shapes the kinds of love we initiate and sustain in our lives. I particularly like the way she describes the relationship dynamics between men and women in the midst of intimate relationships and just how much spiritual work needs to be done. The prayers that she intersperses through the book are beautiful and moving.
As for those who try and insult her work just because she hasn't been married to 'Joe Schmoe' for 25 years with a whole troop of kids and grandkids...might I remind those that true love does not always take the traditional conventional route. Some of the greatest loves of my life have been men I never married and never would, the real point is that they were all still worthwhile and valid experiences that contributed to my growth and knowledge as a person. Also just because someone manages to stay married for 25 years in no way means that relationship is healthy, happy or worth emulating.
With that being said this book has to be one of her more underrated works yet in my opinion I found it to be the most poignant and moving. It has definitely deepened my emotional and spiritual capacity to feel and accept love into my life.
EXCELLENT READ.......2005-07-30
MS WILLIAMSON HAD A SLOW START BUT WARMED UP VERY QUICKLY. SHE GAVE A LOT OF INSIGHT ON GETTING OVER PAST HURTS AND BECOMING WHO YOU REALLY ARE. THANKS TO HER, I REALIZED HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO PREPARE FOR A RELATIONSHIP BEFORE I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE (I'VE BEEN DIVORCED 3 TIMES). I EXPERIENCED A VERY DEEP SENSE OF SERENITY THROUGH HER STRONG BUT GENTLE SPIRIT.
I HAVE ANOTHER OF HER BOOKS ON THE WAY AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT ARRIVES.
DON'T LIKE BOOKS ON AUDIO SO I RETURNED THE CD IN EXCHANGE FOR THE BOOK.

Lots of heart-felt statements on the state of romance but .........2005-01-23
Williamson really can put her pen to task with heart-touching words woven to get your heart stirring. Enchanted Love is quite the achivement of a literary celebration of mystical love thanks to insipirations from Marianne's interpretations of A Course in Miracles. Although the content is endearing I must ask the question ... why is Williamson preaching such lovely tones of enchanted romance ... and not achieving it herself. the proof is in the pudding. No one is perfect but if you're looking for love advice, ask Joanne Woodward or another successfully married woman who been with her best pal a long time through ups and downs. Would you ever get diet advice from someone who is obese or still walking around at least 10 pounds overweight? Williamson openly admits that numerous men have left her, she is a single mother, and was apparently once married for under 6 months years ago. She may be a true warrior in the love and romance trenches but if her whole life is dedicated to L-O-V-E ... why does she attract but not hold the romantic love she finds? Enchanted Love makes for beautful prose but that's about it. The material is very fantastical at times with lyrical verbage but if you're seeking romantic results in your favor ... keep seeking elsewhere. Enjoy this book for what it can provide because it is positive. If you want to access advice from someone who writes about love and is successful in love ... try Drs. Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks. They have been married over 22 years and have used their marriage as a testing ground for conscious relationships. The Hendricks must be doing soemthing right because they are still together with children and grandchildren to boot.
Important points.......2004-02-26
Marianne Williamson makes some important points about how love, and relationships in particular, can help us in our spiritual growth. Relationships, whether we see them as negative or positive experiences in our lives, teach us a lot about ourselves. And isn't this what life is all about?
Insightful and At Times Divinely Inspired.......2004-02-09
Love relationships can be our greatest joy and our greatest sorrow! Ever wonder why some lovers run from us while others choose to stay? Williamson gets to the heart and soul of what lies (or often "lurks") below the surface of intimate relationships. In this book, she uses her own past relationship experiences as examples and gives examples she's gleaned from friends and couples she has worked with professionally.
After perusing the following excerpt from the book I knew this was a book I had to read.
"Often upon seeing the weaknesses in each other, we have the tendency to go "Yuck!" and walk away on some level. But often it is not a change in partners but rather a change in perception that delivers us to the love seek. When we shift our view of the purpose of intimacy - from serving our own needs as we define them to serving a larger process of healing - then an entirely new opportunity presents itself. Our wounds have been brought forward, not to block the experience of love, but to serve it." Later Williamson writes, "The purpose of an intimate relationship is not that it be a place where we can hide from our weaknesses, but rather where we can safely let them go." and, "We unconsciously seek the relationships that challenge us to deliver on our most soulful selves, as well as tempt us to fall into our most neurotic patterns."
I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. It should be used by parents, teachers, ministers and counselors to help young adults and couples of all ages understand what's really going on when people unintentionally touch their partner's emotional wounds.
Short, thoughtful, compassionate, at times divinely inspired, easy to read and understand, this book rates as one of my top ten.
