A must for all abused persons.......2007-10-10
This is a great book for everyone that's been verbally abused, past and present. There is nothing like reading firsthand from someone that has been through all the emotions herself. Marcia Powers writes what we all feel and gives us a way to cope and answers our fears about leaving.
Not helpful at all... Please don't get this..........2007-09-17
I have read several books on verbally abusive relationships and I had to put this one down half way through, because like a previous reviewer stated it really does put too much blame on the victim. I would not recommend this book to anybody who is trying to get out of a verbally abusive relationship.
One of the better books on the subject.......2007-01-12
This book talks about how to manage your life, whether you get out of a verbally abusive relationship or not. However, I really think any book dealing with the subject should also include information on how to escape a harmful relationship. This book is excellent at identifying the problem, and giving realistic ways of dealing with yourself. But no one can survive constant crushing blows to their spirit, self-esteem, and identities forever. If one becomes aware, one must make a change.
Shines a harsh light - both ways.......2005-11-16
This is a tough book. As you can probably tell from the other reviews, there is great divisiveness on what everyone thinks this book is trying to say. As someone very much acquianted with verbal abuse, it is very easy for me to see the passions arise about this book, just as the passions arise when verbal abuse happens. I hope I can shed some light on this very touchy subject.
On the one side, the abuser "justifies" their behavior by claiming that the victim "caused" him to act that way (I use "him" because that is the most common). The victim "blames" the abuser because the abuser has "caused" her to feel worthless and "beaten." I believe this is the most common dynamic.
Let's just all agree that verbal abuse is disrespectful, harmful, and in general not a healthy activity because of the damage that it causes. This book helps the victim of verbal abuse drop her "victimhood" and take charge of her life in standing up to the abuse and getting out of the relationship, which in most, if not all cases, is the best thing to do. It correctly and clearly states the hard facts: Verbal abusers rarely take the time and effort to change their behavior, quite often see nothing wrong with it, and usually won't even admit that they ARE verbally abusive in the first place. Sacrificing the abused's happiness and well being because they believe they can change the abuser is not healthy or realistic. It is the abuser that must change. That rarely happens.
The book also serves a secondary function by addressing the not often talked about notion of the personal responsibility of the victim; As in the case of Patricia Evan's books, victimhood is on par with sainthood; that author blames the abuser and glorifies the victim, yet doesn't acknowledge the underlying problem: Why does someone continue to endure this abuse? How does the victim avoid it in the future, and become resilient to its affects?
There must be an element of self-acceptance and other-acceptance by the abused in order for any real healing to begin. Self-esteem, as Ellis argues forcefully in his other books, is a dangerous myth. Only with self-acceptance and other acceptance, without leveling blame, and with recognizing that being a victim is not a lifestyle that one lives and is happy doing so, will the abused be able to begin the path to healing.
If you are a verbal abuser and are struggling to come to terms with your actions, this book will certainly give you practice in empathy. It will be difficult to read for you, but very cathartic. Highly recommended for both abusers and abused, if combined with Ellis' Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (A Guide to Rational Living).
The 'secret' strategies imparted here have been tested by time .......2005-10-14
Mistreatment by a partner usually is considered physical, so most books on abuse focus on physical abuse - but verbal abuse is just as damaging, and THE SECRET OF OVERCOMING VERBAL ABUSE: GETTING OFF THE EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER AND REGAINING CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE tells how to overcome it. The 'secret' strategies imparted here have been tested by time and aim to allow the reader to thwart self-doubt, guilt, depression and more. Author Albert Ellis is a renowned psychologist who works with psychological educator Marcia Grad Powers to create a program which works.

All sorts of people ride roller coasters, people over a certain height that is. Marla Frazee zooms in on one pony-tailed girl who has never experienced a roller coaster before, ever, in this start-to-finish ride. The anticipation builds much like it does in real-life: "S-l-o-w-l-y the train is pulled up the hill by a chain. Clickity, clackity. Clickity, clackity. Up. Up. Up. And then..." As the train zips and zooms and dips and dives, the pony-tailed girl in the very front seat loves every minute, or almost. In the end, "Most of these people are dizzy./ Some of them have wobbly knees./ But at least one of them is planning/ to ride the roller coaster again." Frazee's crisply detailed watercolor drawings of waiting people, happy people, terrified people, and dizzy people are fun to peruse. Youngsters who are Disneyland-bound (or who would just like to be) may be the best audience for this minute-by-minute replay of a roller-coaster ride. (Ages 4 to 7) --Karin Snelson

Roller Coaster is a fun ride.......2006-11-27
I read this story to a kindergarten class who really enjoyed it. One little boy listened with his two arms up "roller coaster" style imitating the twists and turns and "Wheeeees" throughout the book. A lively discussion occurred about whether the little girl should go on the coaster for a second ride. The writer/illustrator captures the intensity of feelings that we've all experienced on a roller coaster.
Great Fun.......2006-11-01
My boys (ages 5 and 3) love the story about riding a roller coaster. The pages showing the whole roller coaster ride are their favorite ones. They love to trace the coaster's path with their finger. When we read the story they act like they are really on the coaster taking the turns and loops with the people on the pages.
Beautiful artwork and colors. Pages could be framed art.
Lots of rolling. Not so much with the coasting........2005-11-04
I think I've finally pinpointed what it is about Marla Frazee I like so very much. It isn't her choice of stories necessarily (though after reading through her "New Baby Train" I know she has excellent taste). It's her people. Somehow or other she managed to give every tiny person in her books a distinct and completely original personality. I can't figure out how she does it either. The ultimate example of this has to be her fantastic 2003 creation, "Roller Coaster". Taking a concept so simple that I'm wondering why thousands of other authors hadn't thought of it first, Frazee walks us through the process of riding a roller coaster. From the first moments of anticipation to the final plunge and disembarking, our author/illustrator has taken a simple concept and turned it into picture book gold. Whether you've a kid fascinated by roller coasters, deeply afraid of them, or has never even HEARD of such contraptions in all their days, "Roller Coaster" is designed to delight and amuse.
A long line of people appears at a fairground. Ahead of them is a roller coaster named, "Rocket". As the line gets closer to the front, "Lots of people change their mind about riding the roller coaster at the very last minute". At long last, twelve lucky people climb into the cars. Some of them are excited while others appear calm and collected. Suddenly we're watching the people on the ride as they experience a simple variety of twists, turns, and loop-dee-loops. The passengers (each pair has their own particular story) deal with the roller coaster in a variety of different ways. The tough guys feel ill. The couple who appear to be on a first date snuggle closer as the ride goes on. The elderly couple in the straw hats adore every wild minute. And the little girl in the front becomes a roller coaster enthusiast by the end. The ride is done. The people get out. And the little girl insists on riding the coaster one more time.
The way Frazee sets up the book, the reader is bound to sympathize the most with the little girl who is riding a roller coaster for the very first time. It's wonderful to read through this book several times and catch the consistently interesting details that progress as the ride does. It took me several readings before I realized that the couple on the first date weren't all snuggly at the beginning. And there's a great moment where a woman, traveling with her son on the coaster, adjusts her hair carefully at the start only to end up with a slightly modified afro by the end. The tough guy who opts out of the line (and is derided by his buddies for doing so) stands over his two nauseous friends at the end of the book. Heck, even the tiny woman reading a red book at the very very first page is visible looking at the tough guys with concern at the book's end. Only fellow picture book illustrator Anno could be said to offer us quite as many tiny details. I love the sheer number of interracial couples in this book, by the way. Leave to Ms. Frazee to give us casual diversity where other illustrators would offer us none.
So let's recap. The story is fun, the illustrations whiz-bang (for lack of a better word), and the book a joy. Frazee even appears to include her own inside jokes in the story. Though I have no just cause to believe this, I am completely convinced that Marla Frazee inserted her husband and three sons on the first two-page spread of the book. There's something about the man's goatee that just struck me as a little too... knowing. Not that I have any evidence to back this theory up with, of course. But that's what's so nice about "Roller Coaster". Even when you've read it twenty times over, there's always something new to look at and enjoy. Great for kids, irregardless of their reading ability.
This one's a keeper!.......2005-10-10
I borrowed this book from the library to prepare my kids for a trip to the amusement park It has become my 3 year old's favorite book, so I am buying it! The story describes the 'roller coaster experience' perfectly and the illustrations are excellent with many fun details to talk about with your child. This is a delightful children's book - not too saccharin or silly - definitely worth buying and at a great price too.
Whooooosh!!!!!.......2004-07-20
My 4-year-old LOVES this book! It captures perfectly the trepidation, anticipation, excitement, chills and thrills of riding the roller coaster. The build-up of the story and the illustrations (especially the old couple in the second seat of the coaster) are fantastic! A great summer read, particularly if you're anticipating a trip to the amusement park.

Helps kids feel that they are not the only ones on the BPD ride........2007-05-13
A good book for kids. It lets them know that they are not the only one facing the types of feelings associated with bipolar disease. It doesn't offer any explanations or anything in depth, but it does acknowledge their feelings. Sometimes that is all young kids need - especially when it is coming from a story book for kids. It also gives normal kids a sense of what their bipolar sibling or friend is going through. A nice book to have on your shelf to read together in the low periods.
Just knowing you're not alone.......2007-04-07
After reading this book, my daughter hugged it and said, 'I'm not the only one that feels like this'. That in itself made this book worth more than I paid for it!!! My daughter usually doesn't finish any book in one sitting, it doesn't matter how short it is. this book she was reading in the car while I was driving and she would say, 'listen to this momma. that's what I do.' If you have a child with bipolar this is a MUST have.
Help and help for bipolar kids and loved ones.......2007-03-12
Child Appropriate. Help and hope for children with bipolar disoder and kids who love them.
A very beneficial book.......2007-02-10
I got this book when my bipolar son was much younger and struggling to understand his problems. This really helped him and his therapist used it to help him chart his own "bipolar roller coaster".

So Incredibly Awesome!.......2001-11-26
This book is so incredibly awesome! It should be rated like 1,000,000 stars! I love all the pictures, especially the ones of the Wild Thing!
Amusement Park Mania.......2000-07-04
I have read this book, much to my delight. The historical section reviewing roller coasters is excellent for this 4th to 7th grade reading level book. But do not let you think that it is only for school children. Adults will enjoy this quick read, too.
The pictures are excellent and are well supported by the text. The web links are dated, but not crucial to the understanding of the book.
The only reason why I do not rate this book higher is that in the physics of roller coasters section, there are serious errors in the science (pages 32-34). In particular, inertia, momentum, and energy are used incorrectly. Later in the book when discussing seat position for maximum g's, there is also an error.
Aside from the scientific errors, though, I would recommend this book and am happy that I have my own copy.

B is for lots of reading fun.......2007-09-02
I got this book for my son who is in love with construction vehicles thinking it would be another way to teach the alphabet. The illustrations are terrific - lots of things to see, name and tell the color of. The story, while it rhymes, uses lots of words, not just the same simple ones over and over. (I didn't know it rhymed until I read it on my own without stopping to comment on every little thing on the page!) My son has since incorporated some of the "big" words from this book into his every day lexicon.
Get this one!.......2007-07-30
I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful book. This is my 19 month old son's favorite. I found this at a yard sale, and upon seeing it for the first time, my son said "OOOOOOOH!" and started flipping through the pages excitedly. The illustrations are soft and intersting to toddlers and even though it is an alphabet book, the story hold anticipation and facination. We love it!
Fun book.......2007-04-17
This is a fun book. My two-year old asks me to read this book to him all the time.
Great illustrations! Super book.......2007-02-20
My four year old loves all things construction. This book was perfect for him, both for the text and pictures. It captures common types of equipment, paired with great illustrations. I would definitely recommend.
Looks great!.......2006-12-08
I'm going to order this book for my truck-crazy niece and godsons! Wanted to point people to another favorite that's not linked here, called "Hush Little Digger," a version of the lullabye "Hush Little Baby," but all about construction trucks. It's a current favorite and a must for truck-loving kids. Fun to sing aloud!

Great Desk Reference.......2007-08-19
The first chapter of descriptions and comparisons between mystery and suspense was a little redundent in places. I've only got through the mystery half because that is what I've been having trouble with. If you're not a regular mystery reader and need to add mystery without spending time analysing the greats, this is the book you need. If you are already an experience mystery reader/writer and need more suspense, I'd bet the suspense half would be equally as good. Mystery and suspense are the bones of a plot line and genre/characterization is the setting and the meat of the story.
A lot of BANG for your buck!.......2007-08-03
I love this book! If you have a small budget and know that you want to write mystery or suspense novels, this is THE writing instruction book for you. It is a concise 191 pages (even has an index!), but it is filled with useful information. This is not a book that focuses on how to write better sentences or prose: there are other books for that. This is a book on plot structure that even seasoned writers would find useful to help strengthen their stories: a nice summation of the key elements to consider when constructing the plot. Some writing books are so large, it'd take a decade to fully digest and utilize the information: This book will get you up and surging forward right away. There are even checklists to keep you on track as few of us can keep numerous facts in mind simultaneously.
The first section focuses on the mystery novel. The second, on the suspense/thriller. The last third is on the general aspects of the novel and getting published, which is not as useful as the first two sections. Ms. Wheat uses numerous examples from published novels to demonstrate the plot techniques she outlines. I am excited to discover this book, as I am certain my next novel will have a stronger ending from studying the suspense techniques she outlines. Ms. Wheat's guidelines will not stifle your creativity; instead, it will help channel your idea to it's maximum effectiveness.
You really get a lot of bang for your buck. I would buy this, not get it from the library. It is well laid-out, with useful bold headings. You will want to keep it at your side when you plot your future blockbuster. Sworn to Defend.
An absolute keeper.......2007-02-12
The title hooked me, and it just got better after that. As a writer of fiction, I have a stack of "how-to" books on my shelf, some of which have been helpful, others not so much. But this one has the clearest explanation of such things as story arc, the novel styled as a classic myth, how to (and how not to) handle an ending. Better yet, not only is the book filled with excellent information, it's written in an entertaining style. And the examples that Ms. Wheat uses are from books that most of us have read and authors most of us recognize--not pages and pages of dry-as-dust "classic" novels.
If you like to read suspense and/or mystery (and she makes the distinction clear in the first chapter), this book will make your reading more pleasurable as you begin to appreciate the things your favorite author does. And if you want to write in those genres, hurry to order the book, then commit it to memory.
Start with this book by Carolyn Wheat.......2006-09-22
Carolyn Hart, Mystery Maitresse, suggested this book to me. She was right. I was gratified to discover just how many things I am already doing correctly without any understanding of the structure provided by this book. Ms. Carolyn Wheat provides valuable insight into a great many other issues. Yes, this book will provide guidelines for the next several weeks. Thank you.
Finally A Book on Mystery & Suspense!.......2006-07-27
Pros: A great book on how to craft mystery & suspense.
Cons: If you don't care about suspense, then this book isn't for you. But I'd say you're crazy.
Thoughts: There don't seem to be many writing books dedicated to the specific techniques of genre. The book is split in two parts. The first half is mystery, and the second half is suspense. The author does a good job of explaining how the techniques used can often be very different. The suspense half of the book is just plain old Good Storytelling, and the tricks explained in that section would work for almost any story. Who doesn't want a suspensful story?
Summary: I wish more books on storytelling were like this. Just buy it.

My Great Grandfather.......2004-06-23
I am actually Harry Traver's great-granddaughter. Of course I never got the chance to meet him. But from what I have heard and read about him in this book, he is an amazing man. His son Spencer Traver and my father John Traver shall continue to keep his tradition alive. This book is a must-have for any roller-coaster buffs. Enjoy!
The legends of yesteryear.......2003-07-06
This is an amazing book. I wasn't so much interested in the life of Harry Traver, but the legendary coasters he built. Too bad there aren't any of them around today. I have heard the stories of the great rides they were and my grandparents actually got to ride the legendary Crystal Beach Cyclone. A fabulous peek at the great coasters of days gone by.
An Amazing Book.......2003-02-05
The photos and history in this book go beyond any other book in my collection. I had to pay dearly to get this but it was worth it. For a coaster enthusiast who loves the design, construction, and riding of coasters, this book has it all.
"Harry G. Traver: Legends of Terror"---a legendary book!--.......2002-01-23
Richard Munch has done a wonderful job writing this book about Harry Traver, a man most people have never heard of. However, true coaster/amusement park enthusiasts know how important his name is to the amusement park industry. The book contains a detailed personal and business history of Traver, with information gleaned from family and many other sources. It's hard to figure how the author did all of this, but the proof is within the covers of this outstanding book. Dozens of b/w photos of Traver's legendary coaster creations, complete with track layout plans and thorough descriptions, bring to life his contributions to the advancement of the wooden roller coaster. The book also contains photos of some of Traver's business papers and promotional materials. Munch also weaves into the text the relationship Traver had with the 1920's coaster team of Prior and Church, who are responsible for several historical coasters, including the still-operating San Diego "Giant Dipper". This book is like a trip through time. The only other book like it is Robert Cartmell's "The Incredible Scream Machine" which in itself is the most comprehensive book ever written on the subject of the history of roller coasters. If you're not too interested in coasters, then you'll find the book to be an interesting curiosity, but if you're an enthusiast, you'll love it. (Submitted January 23, 2002)

Book Description
Tug McGraw's "Ya Gotta Believe!" was the rallying cry of the 1973 New York Mets. But it was also the rallying cry of the screwy left-handed relief pitcher who made millions of fans believe in the impossible, especially when-as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies-he struck out Kansas City's Willie Wilson to win the 1980 World Series. Here is the story of a man who rose to fame, fell from grace, battled cancer, and became a champion not just in baseball, but in life.

Become a believer and then hooked on the book.......2007-09-12
I grew up a Met fan in the 70's but his career in NY was a bit vague to me. I knew him better down the pike in Philly while unfortunately having to root against him. I learned so much about him while turning every page and he made me laugh and later brought me close to tears. The book was splended and showed many of his peaks and valleys, reminded me and informed me of his baseball career. Its often said that "this (one) is unique," but Tug truly was one-of-a-kind and apparently a joy to many. The adversity he experienced was wide-spread and unfortunately it may've trickled down to his children, specifically the now renown, Tim McGraw. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone, especially those that knew him during his sports career; the final 100 pages were riveting as you get a front row seat at his final months riding a bad roller-coaster.
I will always Believe.......2006-07-03
First off I will admit to no small amount of prejucice when it comes to this book. I have been a Phillies fan since the 1970's and was a huge fan of Tug Mc Graw's growing up. In saying this perhaps this book had a deeper effect on me than the average person as I was aware of a lot of the events that Tug relates in this narrative of his life. What I was not aware of was his incredible courage while he was fighting this illness and the amazing warmth and generosity of his son, C&W star Tim Mc Graw. I feel you have to have grown up as part of Tug's generation to understand his motivations and behaviors. I am not saying that excuses the mistakes he made but it did help me to understand the WHY of what he did. In addition it made me appreciate all the more the courage it took him to admit those mistakes and the effort he put forth trying to correct them. This is an extremely moving and emotional tale with tremendous highs and lows and should effect everyone who reads it. Also this is an incredibly honest insight into the psyche of professional athletes in the 70's and 80's. Highly recommended for its' passion and honesty.
Explains the life of a baseball player in the 70's.......2005-12-07
Tug McGraw has had a shameful life story that not many people have known about. He had done some very bad things like neglecting his son, country singer Tim McGraw, because he refused to believe that he was his son. When he was dying he forgave everybody and was nice to all of his relatives, and admitted to all of the wrong things he did. He really showed that he was sorry for everything and he would have changed a lot if he could.
I was truly impressed by how he handled everything when he was dying. He is definitely an amazing man, in more than one way.
He had many family-related problems that he got through. He was a little crazy too, but a motivational speaker really got him to the World Series by telling him, "Ya Gotta Believe!"
A crazy and honest ride.......2005-05-19
Tug McGraw was a bonafide original. From his thigh slap to his screwball to his love of a good time, Tug did things his way. But as he says during the book, sometimes his way was the selfish way. The most compelling part of the book for me was him discussing his relationship with his son Tim. From refusing to acknowledge his fatherhood to completely ignoring him (other than one visit in Houston) to finally coming around and taking responsibilty for himself and his son.
That's a main theme in this book, taking responsibility. Unlike his ex-teammate Pete Rose who seemingly blamed everyone under the sun for his problems other than himself, Tug steps up and admits his mistakes. He says that he was not a good husband or father. He was determined not to make the same mistakes with his youngest son Matthew. His children all rallied around him as he battled brain cancer.
Sadly this story doesn't have a happy ending as Tug passes away in January of 2004, a month before this book was released. The final chapter of this book is very touching as Don Yaeger describes Tug's final days. This book shows that it's never too late to say you're sorry and it's never too late to make things right. An excellent book, highly recommended.
Great Read.......2004-11-03
Wow! I'm not a baseball fan, or a Tug McGraw fan for that matter, but I read this book in a day. I love, love, love Tug's son Tim McGraw and it was amazing to read how Tug treated his children, Tim especially and they way Tim loved Tug so unconditionally-even paying for his medical bills, rent, furnishing a home for his father and spending hours on end just holding Tug's hand in Tug's final days. It makes me an even bigger fan of Tims. Tug's own childhood/family life was heartbreaking to read about, as well. The baseball parts were interesting, but not very exciting for me, as I am not a big fan of the sport, but baseball fans will definitely enjoy this book.
There are some great pictures in the book also.

very good book about rollercoasters with lots of information and good pictures
Good Book Overall.......2002-03-15
This is a very good book if you want a look back to the predecessors of today's coasters. The coverage is very thorough and informative. The coasters covered range from early 1900's to many of today. The photos are simply great -- they made the book wonderful (though the text could easily support itself). If you like coasters, this is the book for you.
Amazing Photos.......2002-01-17
Perfect book on rollercoasters. Great photos, great history. If you were only to buy one book about roller coasters- make it this one!
Good Roller Coaster Reference.......2001-03-30
Other reviewers have given a good overview of this book. I will go into some detail on Chapter 3:Nuts and Bolts -- How Coasters Work. Rutherford begins by talking about materials used in the basic structure. His section on the evolution of tracking is excellent. Most readers will be surprised to learn about the side-friction coaster. This is a rare beast, and to my knowledge, this is the only easily available documentation available about it.
The wood track structure is well explained along with cross sectional diagrams of how the carriages (trains) are attached to the track/structure. Rutherford finishes this part with a discussion on standard bent construction for the structure.
In the next part of this chapter, the discussion continues with steelie coasters, track fabrication and wheel assemblies. Propulsion, lift chain, anti-rollback devices, other safety devices, brakes, zone blocking, restraints, etc. are wonderful background information for the teacher who wants to take their class to the amusement park for a science field trip.
The chapter ends with the nature of teh ride and what is involved in creating one of these machines. The difference between an track plan and profile are clearly illustrated.
Good addition to the library.
A "must" for all roller coaster buffs & enthusiasts!.......2000-08-04
An excellent and unusual title providing insights into American pastimes and interests, Scott Rutherford's American Roller Coaster covers the ups and downs of roller coaster history, pairing a clear text history with color photos and illustrations of coasters from 1900 to modern times. The history and evolution covers construction as well as roller coaster styles and development.

The Rolling Coaster.......2004-03-23
Coaster was a good book. It was adventerous, Funny and lots of other genre's. It is one of the best books i've ever read. Kudo's for Betsey Duffey, for writing this great book. Some parts were boring, but others were sad, funny and suspenseful. Do me a favor and read this good book!
Hart was a great character. I'm glad him and Dub met, without that the book would be terrible. Harts dad must be the coolest dad any kid could ever have! Hart is very lucky to have a father like him. Ahter Hart's mom and dad broke up Hart's mom has been worrying about his safety. Read this book!!!
A great book, a must read book,.......2001-02-28
I have read a lot of books in my life but Coaster is by far the best.Let me tell you a little about this book.A boy named Hart has a great life with his wonderful family until his parents get divorced. The divorce doesn't keep Hart away from his Dad. I am sure there are many kids out there in the same situation that can realate to this story. Hart and his Dad spend a lot of their time together on trips to adventure parks. The main attractions to these amusement parks are the great roller coasters. They always write to each other and send each other pictures of coasters. Then one day something horrible happens. Hart's Mom meets a news channel wheatherman named Dub Dugan. Hart does not Know what to do. All he thinks about is his Dad and what he would do if his mom got married.Hart doesent really like Dub because he is not brave and isn't good at riding coasters. If you want to find out more about this book like if Hart's mom gets married or other interesting parts then I think you should definitely read this book.I would recommend this book for kids ages 8 to 12.

Coaster is a wonderful book for children of all ages.......1997-04-30
Coaster is the dramitac story of a child who suffers through the divorce of his parents. As his mother begins to date again, she falls in love with the wacky weather man. George will do anything to get rid of him, even take him on the spinning tea cups or "barf buckets." A wonderful story for any child
