Book Description

Renowned storyteller Gaelen Foley unfurls the seductive tale of the rakish Lord Alec Knight, who never looked for love–until it was right in front of him. . . .

Lord Alec Knight, the most daring and handsome rogue in all of London, is a smooth-talking aristocrat with an abundance of high-society lady admirers. With his irresistible wit, lucky hand at the gaming tables, and enticing charisma, he can have any woman he wants. But when the only girl he would have considered marrying ties the knot with someone else, Alec realizes he doesn’t want to be with just any lady–he wants to find the love of his life.

The boldly spirited, beautiful Miss Becky Ward takes his life by storm after he rescues her from peril. Alec soon learns that she is on the run from her cousin, the murderous Prince Mikhail Kurkov. Becky has uncovered a menacing secret about the prince–now nothing will stop him from hunting her down. In the midst of danger, Alec and Becky find themselves deeply drawn to each other. After the two spend an all-consuming night of sin, Becky’s knight in shining armor vows on his honor to protect her until the end. But before long, Alec is protecting her with more than honor–and it seems the once untamed rake of London just may have found what he has been searching for all along . . . true love.

London, 1817

Fiery swords of lightning clashed across the sable sky. Great rolling clouds flung down a warning spatter of rain. Thunder growled in the distance, but the only sound in the dark, empty street was the frantic percussion of the girl’s running footfalls.

Every step jarred her in her thin kid half boots. Her dingy skirts swirled about her legs, threatening to trip her. Fleeing the glow of lanterns on the broad avenue, she raced up a murky side street, her long hair tangled and wild. Her pale young face was stark with terror as she glanced over her shoulder and pounded on, her fists clenched, her breath raking harshly through her gritted teeth.

With a small gasp, half a sob, she pitched around the corner ahead into a coal-black alley and immediately pressed backward out of sight into the shadowed alcove of a doorway. There, she held perfectly still, but for the panicked heaving of her chest. Don’t move. Don’t even breathe.

They were only seconds behind her.

The riders came with the storm at their heels— relentless, inescapable as the approaching tempest. Another throaty snarl of thunder vibrated the windowpanes of the darkened building where she hid. She huddled down against the bricks, trying to make herself smaller, for when the low rumble faded, another sound still remained—softer, but more terrible by far.

Clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop.

The relentless cadence of hoofbeats grew louder. Becky Ward shut her eyes with a grimace of fear, a bead of sweat rolling down her cheek. The narrow alley funneled the sound of their approach: the squeak of well-oiled leather, the jangle and hiss of deadly blades, guns, pikes, and pistols—weapons that did not even have a name in English.

Not that the riders had been sent to kill her. Oh, no, she thought bitterly. The prince wanted her brought back to him alive. If she had one advantage, that was it.

She yanked in the muddied hem of her skirt a split second before they came trolling past the mouth of the narrow alley. She stood trembling in the muggy heat of the summer night, holding her breath, agonized with waiting as they stopped mere yards from her hiding place.

They nearly had her, and, expert trackers, the Cossacks knew it. Prince Mikhail Kurkov had sent four of his best warriors after her, though many more were at his beck if these should fail. From where she stood, she could see the looming silhouettes of the second pair.

Huge, menacing men with thick beards and elabor- ate moustaches, the battle-hardened Cossack soldiers wore dark gray coats over baggy trousers, which they tucked into their black riding boots. Beneath the brims of their foreign-shaped helmets, their inscrutable faces were browned and leathery from life in the saddle, their slightly slanted eyes cool and efficient. It was said they were descended from the Huns.

One sniffed the air, trying to scent her out, while the others glanced around, murmuring questions and replies to each other in a low, rapid tongue that she could not decipher. She swallowed hard as they split up to continue searching for her in pairs. The first two continued onward while the second turned their swift, rugged horses around and headed back toward the wide, lamplit thoroughfare, whatever it was called. Oxford Street . . . Piccadilly? Becky wasn’t sure. When they had gone, she nigh collapsed with exhausted relief, leaning all her weight against the locked door behind her.

For a fleeting moment she allowed herself to shut her eyes.

Another hairbreadth escape.

After four days of this, on the run, hunted from town to town as she had made her way southward to London, she did not know how much longer she could last. She had not eaten all day and had reached a foggy-headed state of fatigue. Fear seemed to be the only thing keeping her awake; but closing her eyes brought no respite, for it immedia

5 out of 5 stars Bodice Ripper!.......2007-08-04

I can call it a bodice ripper because right there on page 343 it says "He tore her lovely bodice in his haste to get his hand on her..." Hehe...

The plot has been detailed elsewhere so I'll just say what I liked about this book. First the sex was really steamy and explicit. More, I think, than the other books in the series. These two were so hot for each other, right from the beginning. They couldn't keep their hands off each other!

But the part I really liked was Alec's sweet seduction of Becky. He was such a pro. Standing under an awning on a rainy street, he said all those sweet words to her, just the right things to make her melt. And then he fed her and bathed her and kissed away her sorrows. Alec is so charming! What a sweet hero he is.

These two had great chemistry. Maybe I was just in the right mood for it today, but I really loved this book.

5 out of 5 stars 20 Nights of Sin.......2007-03-16

If you're looking for a scorching hot historical with a good plot, this is it. I absolutely loved Alec. I liked this one almost as much as "Lord of Fire"-- which is saying a lot. This entire series by Foley is great and this is one of the best ones.

Lord Alec Knight (the youngest of the Knight brothers) is known as Captain of the London Rakehells and certainly lives up to his reputation. He's rather disgusted with himself after getting deep into debt from gambling and having to resort to working off his debt in a rich baroness's bed for a year. Lady Campion pays off his debts in exchange for his "services". As a result, he terribly hurts and loses the only woman who has ever truly loved him (Lizzie Carlisle--see Devil Takes a Bride). His self-esteem is at an all-time low when he discovers a bedraggled young woman asleep on his friend's doorstep. His overeager friends believe she's a been sent over for their party by the local brothel and they manage to scare her off.

Alec decides to follow her and, while still believing her to be a prostitute, senses that she's in trouble and takes her to his home, where he offers her a hot bath and then orders her dinner from one of the best restaurants in town and tells her she can stay with him for a while if she wants. She allows him to go on thinking her a prostitute.

Alec resolves not to touch her until he's sure she's o.k. and then seduces her in the tenderest way possible. Becky is surprised by his kindness, but runs off without a word in the morning, not wanting to endanger him because of the men that are hunting her down. The next morning, Alec is stunned to find Becky gone without a word and his bed bloodied. Apparently the "prostitute" was a virgin! He runs off after her and manages to track her down, saving her from the Cossacks who are pursuing her to bring her back to her evil, murdering cousin Prince Mikhail who has threatened to rape her to keep her in line. Feeling responsible for ruining her, Alec asks Becky to marry him, but she refuses, not wanting someone to marry her solely out of duty.

After Becky confides her plight, Alec makes it his mission to help her and goes on a quest to raise enough money to buy back her home from Mikhail through gambling winnings as well as convince Becky to marry him. He's stunned at the girl's courage and perseverance in the face of adversity. He needs a woman who needs him and finds that taking care of Becky reforms him. He confides his worst secret (Lady Campion) and rather than being apalled and rejecting him, Becky understands and accepts him, saying he handled it the best way he could at the time to avoid taking advantage of others and tells him he should forgive himself.

Alec the Rake regains his self-esteem and is redeemed though taking care of Becky and rescues her from death in a dramatic climactic scene where Mikhail tries to kill them both. As a result, the rake is reformed and becomes a true heroic figure. This transformation is believably accomplished by Foley.

This is a scorching hot romance and the sex scenes are not for the faint of heart. Rather than one night of sin, 20 night of sin would have been a better title. Alec resolves not to have "sex" with Becky again until she agrees to marry him, but, true to his rake nature, he's quite inventive in finding ways for them to pleasure each other mutually and simultaneously until she agrees.

Overall, a very satisfying and sensual romance, with good character development and an interesting, suspenseful plot.

4 out of 5 stars Not one of her best but still pretty entertaining.......2006-08-06

Becky Ward is on the run for her life. Her cousin, Prince Mikhail Kurkov, murdered an agent of the Czar of Russia and Becky witnessed it. Becky makes her way to London to try and find the Duke of Westland to turn her cousin in, but Prince Kurkov beats her there and makes an unsuccessful attempt to capture her. To make matters worse, her grandfather's death has made Prince Kurkov her guardian, which means he controls her life and also owns the only home she's ever known.

Lord Alec Knight and his three friends have just arrived at one of his friends' homes where they find Becky asleep on the portico. Assuming she is a prostitute, they wake her up and try to coax her into the house, but she fights them off and runs away. Alec chases after her and talks her into going with him to his apartments. They have a glorious night together but when Alec wakes up, Becky has already escaped. While he is rushing to get dressed, he notices bloodstains on the bathrobe Becky wore and realizes that she was a virgin.

Alec talks her into trusting him with her story and offers to help her. They devise a plan to win, through gambling, enough money to buy back Becky's home from Prince Kurkov. They also need to find evidence of Mikhail's treachery before they can go to Westland with her story.

Admittedly, I was prepared to not like this book. I had just finished reading Devil Takes A Bride where I found Alec to be a self-indulgent brat who was trying to come between Devlin and Elizabeth. However, he redeems himself in this book. I don't like that the tale takes pot shots at Elizabeth, portraying her as someone not quite strong enough to handle Alec, but I suppose this is an attempt to convince us, the audience, of Becky's courage in loving Alec despite his past.

In my opinion, though, it was not necessary to disparage Elizabeth for that reason. I, for one, was already convinced, in Devil Takes A Bride, that Alec and Elizabeth were not suited for each other. It was already clear that Elizabeth, until she met Devlin, had fallen in love with an image of who she thought Alec was. Likewise, Alec wanted Elizabeth around because he thought he needed her, but certainly not because he loved her. There was really no need to compare Becky to Elizabeth. Both are equally strong heroines with unique characteristics of their own.

One Night of Sin is sumptuous and erotic. The storyline, however, is a bit predictable and I found it lacking. The magic and sizzle that other Gaelen Foley works have, such as in The Duke, is missing in this one.

4 out of 5 stars Minor Discrepency.......2006-06-26

For those who have already read the book, Alex tells Becky that Jacinda was two when their mother left, but Jacinda's year of birth was in 1798 and Georgiana died in 1799. SO there was no way Jacinda was two, if anything she wasn't even one yet, because Georgiana supposedly left and was transporting her aristocrat's friends children from france for a while before she got caught and was executed.
I found another one of these slight "errors" in "His wicked Kiss".
Anyway (please read synopsis of the book on product review page)
about the novel, I was looking forward to reading about Alex since I really didn't like him at all in Devil takes a bride. I wanted to see how he was going to redeem himself and boy am I proud of our little brother, fighting all those Cossacks all by himself and all.
I was just as proud of him as his brothers when they came barging in to assist him and found that he had taken care of everything and he was ENGAGED!!!!
Like I mentioned in one of my other reviews, when I read any of Gaelen Foley's books I always feel like I'm watching a movie as opposed to reading the book since everything is so detailed.
Well done Gaelen!!!

5 out of 5 stars can't stop blushing!.......2006-05-18

wow. this book is hot. and i don't mean just a bit. i loved it, but i would definatley want everyone who is looking to read this that you may get turned on. really turned on. so anyway, i would recommend this to anyone who is just getting into romance or who has read hundreds just like me.

Mary Balogh's latest historical romance, One Night for Love, will delight readers with the skillfully woven tale of Neville Wyatt, Major Lord Newbury, the Earl of Kilbourne, and Lily Doyle, beautiful but common-born daughter of Kilbourne's sergeant, who has spent her life following her father and England's army. When Lily's father is mortally wounded, Neville promises the dying man that he will protect Lily by marrying her and giving her his name; as an officer's wife--and a viscountess to boot--Lily will be treated with respect in case of capture. But the two share only one glorious night of passion and discovery after their wedding, for the next day Neville watches in horror as Lily, his wife and the woman he loves, is killed in a skirmish with the French. He, too, is severely wounded and barely escapes with his life. Eighteen months later, Neville is again preparing to be married, this time to the eminently suitable young woman his family has always planned for him to wed. However, one of the guests, albeit uninvited, has grounds to object to the union; the groom is already married--to her! Neville and Lily struggle to wed their worlds together while overcoming the horror of Lily's capture and imprisonment, while a secret lurks nearby that threatens to destroy their growing love. Balogh's latest effort is an extraordinary tale of love found, lost, and found again. --Alison Trinkle

Book Description

One reckless man . . . One passionate woman.

Enter the world of Mary Balogh—the glittering ballrooms and vast country estates of Regency-era England, where romance, with all its mystery, magic, and surprises, comes vibrantly alive.

It was a perfect morning in May . . .

Neville Wyatt, Earl of Kilbourne, awaited his bride at the altar—when a ragged beggar woman raced down the aisle instead. The cream of the ton saw him stare, shocked, then declare that this was his wife! One night of passion was all he remembered as he beheld Lily, the woman he'd wed, loved, and lost on the battlefield in Portugal. Now he said he'd honor his commitment to her—regardless of the gulf that lay between them.

Then Lily spoke her mind . . .

She said she wanted only to start a new life—wanted only a husband who truly loved her. She had to leave him to learn how to meet his world on her terms. So Lily agreed to earn her keep as his aunt's companion and study the genteel arts. Soon she was the toast of the ton, every inch a countess fit for the earl, who vowed to prove to his remarkable wife that what he felt for her was far more than desire, that what he wanted from her was much more than . . . One Night for Love.

4 out of 5 stars Good Read.......2007-10-03

I liked the book though a bit too descriptive. I would like to see a follow-up with Lauren, I found her to be the more likeable character. Hopefully this author will be writing it in the near future, I will keep a check on her book listings. Lauren was a complicated character who was extremely suppressed emotionally and the book, if written, would be a good one.

1 out of 5 stars a lot of violence in Balogh's books.......2007-09-10

I started out reading two or three of Balogh's books that were apparently atypical, in that a character did not get raped or sodomized. I've read two of her other, more typical books since, and never again. This is not what I look for in escapist fiction.

4 out of 5 stars Great story.......2007-05-10

I have to say that I really did enjoy this story and the characters. You knew in the beginning that Neville loved Lily and used the father's death as an excuse to get what he wanted - Lily. He just about admitted that in the book, so there was no question for me that he loved her. I also am not sure where some would get the impression that he loved Lauren. Although, I didn't understand why he would say to her in the beginning that they would think their pre-nupual party would be the happiest of their lives because he obviously loved Lauren as a sister....he felt the same emotions for her and Gwen, that would have been creepy if he did marry Lauren. I didn't get any feeling that he was torn about loosing Lauren at all and his love for Lily was so great, I just was hoping Lily would just stay with him. As for Lily, you couldn't help but like her and hope that she would find herself and be happy. I think the captivity was underplayed a bit, I can't imagine getting over that so easily.

The best part for me was in the church when Neville first saw her and how he reacted, afraid of taking his eyes off of her....truly sweet. Although I think it was too neat how Lauren got tucked away in this, I think she realized as well that he felt for her as he felt for his sister.

Looking forward to reading a Summer to Remember.

3 out of 5 stars Not spectacular but OK!.......2007-04-27

I have to begin by saying that I read Regency romance and that I have already read some other books by Balogh. Unfortunately this not one of her best.
Since I can see there are others who have given the story outline, I will skip that and go on to the problem: the characters, though entirely likable, are too schematic, they do not seem to exude life like others do (see for example the couple in Indiscreet). Other than that, I had this nagging feeling all the time that the author had the feminist platform in mind and God forbid she should cross it - the woman is made independent, self-reliant, an equal in all respects to the wealthy, handsome, confident earl. Not that it's a bad thing but in those times???
Than, there is the scene (SORRY! SPOILER!!!) where they forgive each other??? I'm sure it was necessary but.... like that?
Living that aside, it was an enjoyable read! The plot has a few twists and turns but they come too conveniently and too late in the book, as if to show she would have managed without. Well, then, why use them anyway?!

5 out of 5 stars Balogh Writes the Best Comfort-Reads Around.......2006-04-20

I LOVE Mary Balogh's books. They have unusual situations that don't stretch entirely out of the bounds of believability. They have the requisite romance and suspense and happy endings. They have characters who aren't stupid, silly or annoying; they are good people trying to do the right thing--they are not cloyingly sympathetic, but have depth and realism to their characters so that I enjoy spending time with them. This book is another shining example of a very satisfying tale. Read and enjoy!!!

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Cute but Tiresome.......2007-06-12

I have read more lesbian fiction than I care to admit. One Summer Night was certainly not the worst of the bunch, nor was it the best. I am not sorry I read it, nor would I have been sorry I bought it (my girlfriend actually made the purchase).

I found the last 40 or so pages of the book to be tiresome. It was the same old back-and-forth, will they or won't they that every romance novel incorporates to an extent. The trouble was that I feel like Hill ran out of things to say and so she dragged out the ending with the on-again, off-again. It got old. When it came to the actual end of the book, it felt rushed to me.

Still, I found the characters to be enjoyable, the scenarios realistic, and it was a quick, easy read.

4 out of 5 stars Gotta love a Jock!.......2006-07-31

Johanna Marshall finally caves in and goes to watch her friends play in a softball tournament. Her friends have brought in a ringer, which is ringing all of Johanna's bells.

Kelley Sambino knows she's ringing Johanna's bells, but can't seem to get close to her. If it wasn't bad enough Kelley has a reputation of being a womanizer, but as the fall semester starts, she finds herself working in the same department as Johanna at the college.

Pick up the book and walk the hall of a romantic academia.

2 out of 5 stars Boring!.......2006-07-14

Romantic story of how Jo hesitates to get into a relationship with a steamy young woman whose feelings for her are more than Jo can manage. I found the story a little slow and "going around in circles": repetitions of how Jo was hurt by her ex Nancy, how she is lonely, has very few friends, and keeps rejecting a persistent Kelly. Not the best lesbian love story out there.

4 out of 5 stars Clearly Hill's First Effort.......2006-04-17

Johanna was betrayed by her lover three years before this story begins. She has strenously guarded her heart since then - telling herself that she was content, even happy. Then, one summer night, she met and fell for Kelly only to be told that Kelly is a womanizer much like the woman who hurt her so badly.

While the characters in this book both teach college, one is a jock, the other not. How they come together is the theme of this story.

The plotting on this book is thin - paper thin. But the characters, even the secondary characters, are people the reader would like to know. But after a while, you just want to shake Johanna and tell her to get over herself or find a counselor to help her resolve her fears.

Hill has the talent to bring her setting - almost a character in itself - to life for the reader - in her descriptions of the heat of an Austin, Texas summer, you can almost feel the sweat beginning to form on your forehead. She can also bring you to tears in her descriptions of a dying relative.

If you're new to Hill's books, do start with this one - you'll have the enjoyment of watching Hill's talents grow with each new book so that by the time you get to, say, The Killing Room, she will knock your socks off. But regardless of where you start, do not judge this writer by her early books.

4 out of 5 stars Good book!.......2006-03-08

I loved this book for #1:the two women in this book were actual lesbians(there was no I sleep with my bf until I met you, and now I only sleep with chicks) and #2:It was a good romance.I liked the love scenes in this book(all except the one on P.185) and I liked how Jo was afraid to have feelings Kelly but Kelly still stuck by her and didn't leave.

Book Description

Every day is an adventure for a child. Some days are exciting and fun...other days are hard. Like the sparrow, children often discover it's hard to be small. Like the skunk, they sometimes act like little stinkers. But every day, God is there - loving, guiding, and protecting each little one through the challenges of life.
Filled with charming illustrations and soothing, read-aloud bedtime rhymes, Good Night, Little One follows God's creatures - bunny, sparrow, porcupine, skunk, and more - as they nod off to sleep, reassured of His great love for us all, big and small.
Within the pages of this newest release from acclaimed illustrator/author Steve Björkman, children will learn more than a dozen different ways God expresses His love and care for His littlest creatures. It's a story boys and girls will want to hear again and again, and it provides parents the perfect opportunity to gently remind their children how much God loves them, tonight and every night.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Bedtime Book EVER.......2005-08-21

We borrowed this book from the library and it was SO good, we HAD to buy it. My two-year old now brings it to me and says, "Read, Mommy. Night-night." when he wants to go to sleep. It has become his favorite book (and this kid is quite the literary man for 2). It's so wonderfully written it makes Mommy tear up when she reads it and makes us both feel better. Falling asleep with thoughts of God in your head is ideal. We also pray for every type of "animal" (person) in the book. It's a wonderful story. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

5 out of 5 stars Your Kids Will Love This!.......2001-11-30

I think this is one of the best children's books around. I have a 6 yr old and a 2 yr old - and we have MANY books - but this is my favorite, and my 2 yr old's favorite too. It is a wonderful part of a bedtime ritual!

5 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE for a kids book collection.......2000-10-03

This book is so popular with my 3 year old, that we are still reading it daily after 6 months. She has it memorized and can "read" it to me. The illustrations are wonderful, and the text is simple but meaningful. Even older kids will appreciate the messages in this book. This is a book that you will keep and hand down for your grandchildren.

5 out of 5 stars Mom of a one-year old in Texas.......2000-04-30

This book is just great! My husband and I were looking for a way to introduce God to our toddler, and I came across this book. My one-year old loves the rhymes and the pictures, and asks me to read it over and over again. Each page shows a different characteristic of our loving God, in ways that a tiny child can understand. I am buying several copies to give to friends and family with small children. It is just exactly what I need!

5 out of 5 stars Safely fall asleep with thoughts of God's love.......1999-12-14

Children and parents will both be soothed at bedtime with these gentle rhymes about God's loving care for each baby animal. A number of little animals were forgiven by God for less than perfect behavior that day. As a counselor, I welcome these messages that help both parents and kids feel better about themselves after a hard day. This is great for single parents as all illustrations show just one parent.

1 out of 5 stars These are not Christmas stories!.......2007-01-10

The title of this anthology is One Christmas night. For those of you who, like me, collect Christmas books every year wanting fuzzy, romantic Christmas stories of sleigh rides and tree decorating-DO NOT BUY THIS Book!! The only way you'd know any of them had anything to do with Christmas is a sentance or two stating it is Christmas. There was absolutely no celebrating the holiday at all and if they took out the sentance about Christmas they could take place any time of the year. It was almost like they were searching for a Christmas anothogy and just injected a quick reference in books already written. That being said...I can't really say that any of them were spectacular or even enjoyable reads. Michelle Reid's story starts with the heroine totally depressed and weighed down by the loss of her baby 6 months before. For half of the book, she can't even stand to be around her husband for 2 minutes (as well as being strangely manic about 'loving' certain family members that are thoughtless and often cruel to her), and yet, after sleeping with her husband in a sudden fit of passion she's suddenly unwilling to let him go while still believing he had an affair with her cousin...Jane Porter's story was so mired in the strange hatred the heroine had for the hero that it was difficult to see why he was so in love with her. The author kept alluding to some big 'secret' about her father that she didn't know and you kept expecting some big revelation, but apparantly the author couldn't think up a plausible one as there was a quick 'by the way he was going to give that money back' at the end of the story. OOOkayy....and Susan Stephens story. Let's just say it was an odd story, again with certain plot lines never really explored or explained and I couldn't figure out why these two would even be remotely attracted to one another. The heroine sees him as a horrible person from the get-go and yet, that doesn't stop her from sleeping with him, feeling humiliated when she wakes up and he's gone and yet...she misses him when she finally gets back to London. HUH? There was absolutely no romance there at all. This is one I would definetly pass on.

5 out of 5 stars A Charming story with a meaninful message.......2005-01-21

I found A Prairie Christmas to be totally engaging, drawing me back into the 1800s with vivid scenes and dialogue. Author Pamela Griffin convincingly sets the stage with her novella One Winter Night,a nice mix of adventure and romance. Maryn Langer then delivers with The Christmas Necklace a charming story full of suspense. Though I never doubted a happy ending for a moment, I didn't count on the impact of the manger scene-well done and meaningful. I recommend A Prairie Christmas for all those wanting a well-crafted glance back at a poignant period of our country's history.

5 out of 5 stars A PRAIRIE CHRISTMAS is a romance perfect for the holiday!.......2004-11-24

Ivy Leander sticks out like a sore thumb in the small town of Leaning Tree, Nebraska. Originally from Boston, she dresses in finery and acts like a woman of society. Though Ivy projects an attitude of being better than others, local blacksmith, Craig Watson is unperturbed. And, he vows to marry her before another year passes.

Ivy was forced to move from Boston when her mother married farmer Gavin Morgan. She's upset that she has had to leave behind her rich life and move into the harsh prairie lands of Nebraska. Will Ivy ever be able to embrace her new life and maybe even be able to start a romance with the handsome blacksmith?

ONE WINTRY NIGHT, Pamela Griffin's novella in A PRAIRIE CHRISTMAS, is a heartwarming love story that will grace anyone's keeper shelf and, it's perfect to add to your holiday reading list. Pamela Griffin has given her readers a wonderfully written tale of finding love and a home in an unexpected place. The characters are endearing and enjoyable, and the Nebraska setting is the perfect place for this Christmas romance. I enjoyed every minute of ONE WINTRY NIGHT, and I look forward to discovering more adventures from this talented author!
