Book Description
What’s going on in a man’s mind? From their early days, every woman has struggled to understand why males behave the way they do. Even long-married women who think they understand men have only scratched the surface. Beneath a man’s rugged exterior is an even more rugged, unmapped terrain. What bestselling author Shaunti Feldhahn’s research reveals about the inner lives of men will open women’s eyes to what the men in their lifeâboyfriends, brothers, husbands, and sonsâare really thinking and feeling. Men want to be understood, but they’re afraid to âfreak outâ the women they love by confessing what is happening inside their heads. This book will guide women in how to provide the loving support that modern men want and need.
The Truth About His Inner Life
He Desperately Wants You to Know
What's going on in there? Ever been totally confused by something your man has said or done? Want to understand his secret desires and fears, his daily battles that you know nothing about?
In a woman-to-woman conversation you’ll never forget, Shaunti Feldhahn takes you beneath the surface into the inner lives of men. This book is about the things we just don’t âget’ about guys. With findings from a groundbreaking national survey and personal interviews of over one thousand men, For Women Only is full of eye-opening revelations you need to not only understand the man in your life, but to support and love him in the way he needs to be loved. Grounded in biblical hope, you will discover how to love your man for who he really isânot who you think he is.
Story Behind the Book
I had no idea how clueless I was about men until I interviewed a bunch of them for my last novel. Initially, I just wanted a little insight so I could write my main (male) character. But pretty soon I found myself astonished, over and over again blurting out, âThat’s what you’re thinking?â So I did more interviews. After the novel hit shelves, dozens of women told me they also had been astonished by what I included. Clearly I wasn’t the only one who needed more insight on this!
To lay the groundwork for this nonfiction book, I wrote out the half-dozen things from these interviews that had most surprised meâthings that appeared to be universal to most menâthat women desperately needed to know. I conducted a professional national survey of men to test my findings. Yepâthe survey substantiated every single one. These findings are fascinatingâand they have already changed my life and marriage. I can’t wait to share them!

Revolutionary.......2007-10-11
To begin with, I was blown away by this book. What an impact such a small volume has made in my relationship with my dear fiance' as well as with my brothers and father. So, why is this book so good? Firstly, it is written with the idea of informing about the way men think. How many of us are totally confused about men? Yeah, most of us. And men don't talk a lot about their "feelings" so it is very difficult to get an honest answer. This book is an absolute blessing in that measure. It shows why men have trouble being romantic, why they need women's respect so much and (possibly the most revolutionary chapter) why they want SO MUCH sex.
I will not explain, b/c the book does that, but I will say that once I read the book my eyes were completely opened to why my fiance' reacts the way he does to my actions. And I began changing my actions and... well I will just say that although Caleb and I have always had an incredible relationship, this just made things even more beautiful.
To the reviewer who complained that the book made wives too subservient I would answer, firstly, read her book "For Men Only". Both books are interested in teaching wives and husbands to better serve eachother. Secondly, women are not at all put down in this book. Rather wives are shown to be the one factor in their husbands' lives that really makes the crucial difference between men feeling like a success or a failure. This book really is empowering to women because it is basically like, "You can make the crucial difference... Oh yeah, here's how."
While some points in this book may not be accurate for all men (I am blessed with a man who is the "King of Romance" as my mom says, and who will always talk about his feelings) it really has something for every relationship. If you are working to cultivate a blessed, beautiful marriage, you will find this book to be of great value.
Great things come in small packages.......2007-08-31
I have read a lot of books trying to understand my fellow homosapiens and this did not most terrific job. I relate to my brothers, coworkers, leaders, and men I've dated so much better. I judge less and I find that I'm less insecure around men now.
Shaunti Feldhahn is not just an author, she is an EXCELLENT communicator........2007-08-20
For Women Only is the result of a survey of 400 men across the country who responded to a questionaire about their relationships. This book points out seven areas in which women have a surface understanding of men's needs or desires and delves into each subject in a way that leaves the reader grasping what that statement really means.
For example, the first point is that "men need respect". That seems obvious enough, but Feldhahn brings this into perspective with her survey result that 74% of the men would rather feel "alone & unloved" instead of "inadequate & disrespected", if they had to choose one of the two options. She then elaborates on this with several follow-up examples of ways women can either demonstrate respect or show a lack of respect. Some of which we don't usually connect with showing disrespect. On page 24, she quotes Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, "In a relationship conflict, crying is often a woman's response to feeling unloved, and anger is often a man's response to feeling disrespected."
I would highly recommend this book to any woman who is serious about wanting to improve her relationship with her husband. The author has a way of transforming something you think you know into something you can apply to your everyday life, which isn't always an easy task.
THIS IS A REALLY GOOD BOOK.......2007-08-20
MOST INFORMATIVE. FIND THINGS U MIGHT THINK YOU KNOW AND IF YOU DONT DO A LOT OF RESEARCH ON RELATIONSHIPS THIS IS SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY WOULD NEVER NO OR UNDERSTAND IF YOU DONT READ THE BOOK
Extremely Helpful and Practical!.......2007-08-14
Realizing that there is always room for improvement, my wife and I have made it a practice over our almost 25 years of marriage to read marriage articles and books regularly. Nothing that we know of comes close to the helpful and pracitical insight we have received from "For Women Only" and it's companion book, "For Men Only". We strongly recommend it to every married couple. These two books, along with "Sheet MUsic" by Kevin Leman and "The Book of Romance" by Tommy Nelson are at the top of our list.

The only EKG Book.......2007-10-09
This book is excellent. It really gives you a great foundation for learning how to read EKGs.
EKG - (ECG).......2007-05-27
Great book and the best one written to really understand the electrical changes in the heart and what they mean clinically. If you are in the medical field or a student, you need to read this book, and absorb it's content!
Awesome book!.......2007-02-25
I totally loved this book. It is fantastic for really learning and understanding ekg's. I looked at Dubin's book, but felt it was sort of insulting to the reader. I didn't like his 'see Dick and Jane' sort of format. Also, drawing pictures and writing your own comments? I am not five years old.
This book is gentle and easy and I really understood the physiology of how ekg's work. The understanding of why they work is crucial to being able to interpret them. I picked up the ability to intuit where and what was going on by knowing the electrophysiology. Wonderful! Now I feel confident when presented with a new ekg, I can work through the steps and then put the picture together.
What a terrifc book!
Excelent book!.......2006-11-29
The book is well done. It is well presented, it is not heavy so you can have it on your bag while you are working.
Good letter, good EKG's in color. It keeps simple things simple and complicated things clear and concise. It is divided in nine chapters with cases at the end and summary of important items.
I do really recomend it, I am from outside US.
thank you
Easy to read.......2006-11-28
The concepts are so clearly explained that with no biology in my head - I am an engineer- I was not intimidated and learned enough to decipher the medical jargon at work.

Personal-finance guru Andrew Tobias slams online trading and praises the Roth IRA in his newly revised The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need. This investment bible remains as stimulating and meaningful as it was when it was first published 20 years ago. It's packed with ideas about stocks, living beneath your means, tax planning, retirement, and just about everything else in the financial world. And all of it is presented with Tobias's trademark brevity and ingenuity.
Last revised in 1995, the guide takes aim at a new game in town--online trading. By all means, use the Internet for buying a car or for research, Tobias says. But avoid cyberspace brokers, he says. Point and click enough and you will get slaughtered by commissions, spreads, taxes, and human nature. "It's so easy to click 'OK' a few times and make a $10,000 bet," he warns. "Look how mesmerized we become on a stool in front of a slot machine. Internet investing positively teases you to play." Tobias's favorite new entry is the Roth IRA, which allows you to withdraw your money tax-free when you retire. It's far better than a traditional IRA, he asserts. "Save yourself the trouble of agonizing over the choice and go with the Roth IRA," he writes. "Forget the worksheets." Sometimes caustic and always a skeptic, Tobias believes readers can shape their own financial futures. Just stick to the basics, he says. "By and large, you should manage your own money, via no-load mutual funds," he writes. "No one is going to care about it as much as you." It doesn't matter if it's 1978, 1998, or even 2008. The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need still is exactly that. Some things never change. --Dan Ring

Customer Reviews:
Very Conservative Approach.......2007-10-05
A better title for this book would be " The Only Really, Really Conservative Investment Guide You'll Ever Need." In the author's preface. Mr Tobias marvels how the world has changed since the original publication in 1978. The Guide has been updated frequently so that you will not find any outdated references. In fact, you will be referred to numerous websites in the course of the author's discussions.
Mr Tobias is an advocate of "minimal risk" which is to say he thinks the majority of us would be better off saving rather than trying to get rich by investing. Well there is nothing new about that and it is presented in a flippant and I thought condescending tone.
So the first half of the book is very conservative advice although why he advocates Timber as an investment is beyond me. I think the same argument could be made for soybeans or for sod.
The second half is an excellent primer on the stock market which I feel
is worth the price of the Guide alone. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a basic investment guide with the understanding that it is not a get rich quick reference.
Good updates.......2007-08-07
We were very pleased with the updates Mr. Tobias has made to his book. It lives up to its title. Well worth the price.
Ok.......2007-08-06
The book is decent but "A random walk down wall street" contains the same information this book does (and more). Random Walk is also written better with more details.
Surprisingly entertaining.......2007-07-19
I never read this kind of book, but since it was a gift from a family member, I thought I should skim it so as to appear to have taken it seriously. Much to my surprise, I ended up reading every word and ultimately recommending it to everyone I know. Not only is it very entertaining, but it offers extremely sound advice based on what should be common sense but is in fact sadly uncommon knowledge. I think it is the perfect first investment book for everyone, and for most people the seemingly overstated claim of the title is actually quite accurate.
An Investment Book for Coupon Clippers.......2007-07-03
If you open The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need, by Andrew Tobias, you will see a quote from the Washington Star that reads:
"A good primer for anyone who doesn't want to die poor."
If any succinct sentence clearly expresses my thoughts about The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need (TOIGYEN), it is that one. Tobias offers a prudent plan: be frugal, save and invest conservatively. This plan will undoubtedly protect the majority of people from losing their hard earned savings, thus the reference to prudence. Unfortunately I don't think most of us have prudent dreams, and that probably includes Tobias, based on some of his examples of less conservative investments in which he has partcipated. We, like Tobias, sometimes find ourselves drawn to investments that, with some of our own brainpower and personal time, offer the opportunity to squeeze a little more blood out of the financial turnip.
TOIGYEN is focused on how to save money and hold onto it. His advice with regard to how to make money is simply to let the market do the work for you. If you are patient enough and your dreams are reasonable, this just might be a good strategy for you. In other words, if you clip coupons, this is the investment book for you. Tobias shows how you can actually make a 50 percent return just by buying a particular item in bulk (in his example, a case of wine). This example shows an intriguing and creative way to look at some of your everyday purchases and the time value of money. However, when I read it, I couldn't help feeling the same as when my wife comes home with shopping bags and announces, "Honey, come see how much money I saved us." The question in the back of my mind is always: are you buying it because you really need it (and will use it) or because it's on sale (or offered with a bulk discount).
In case you couldn't tell, I'm not a coupon clipper. I chuckle when the grocery store clerk tells me that with my receipt I can save $.10/gallon and wonder how many people actually go out of their way to save that $1.50 to $2.00 on a tank of gas (provided they were lucky enough to be at the grocery store on the day their tank was completely empty). All that is to say that my goals are not achieved if I spend 30 years conservatively (and detachedly) investing and saving. Perhaps that explains my passion for investments in tangible assets such as real estate and businesses, things that offer a certain level of control and flexibility (activity) as opposed to passivity. (If you are looking for information on those kinds of investments, you won't find them in this book)
Regardless of your coupon-clipping proclivity, this book has something to offer a multitude of investors. For new investors, and those with a small amount of money, Tobias offers a simple plan that, if followed, can provide an easy-to-manage path to more long term financial security. For active investors in a market full of speculative fever, TOIGYEN is an aspirin and a damp cloth.
Jeremy Ames, Executive Editor
What this book does:
* Give a brief overview of most stock and financial derivative investment options
* Warn against taking your financial advice from those who stand to benefit from your decision
* Lay a foundation for long term investing: in the short term, the only guy who makes money is the broker (that goes for stocks or real estate)
* Offer some examples about how to teach your kids the value of money and investing
* Debunk some of the marketing gimmicks of financial services products (i.e. life insurance and annuities)
What this book doesn't do:
* Give instruction on how to trade some of your time for better returns (in fact Tobias' belief is that no one can consistently beat the market)
* Cover a range of alternative, non-stock investments (other than basic rental real estate, timber and oil & gas)

A good network is critical to success - read this book to build a solid one........2007-07-09
Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty is one of the best networking books I have read ("Never Eat Alone" is another great one) and one of the most important books for anyone who wishes to get ahead. Having a solid network of people will do more for your career advancement than almost anything you can do. Harvey Mackay list the top-ten most important things a network can do. Here are a five of those:
1) A network replaces the weakness of the individual with the strength of the group
2) A network can enrich your life anywhere in the world
3) A network can help you help others
4) Job security? Don't rely on the corporation. Rely on your network
5) A network expands your financial reach infinitely
Mackay goes in great detail on how to build solid networks by adding value to others and keeping in touch. He believes that the most valuable tool in your office is your Rolodex. Harvey Mackay certainly knows what he is talking about, not only does he write books and give speeches, he has built an incredible company, in the envelope business, with over 100 million in annual revenue. He did this by learning EVERYTHING he could possibly know about his clients, not just their order history and size of company, but also the owners favorite sport, team, children's names, ages, spouse's name, where they grew up, what they are passionate about, what they are proud of, etc, etc. In this book he teaches us how to ask for that information, how to maintain the data fresh and how to use it to grow our networks.
My favorite quote from the book is: "No salesperson who knew the names of his customer's kids ever went broke." This is as true as: No person who reads this book and applies its principles will ever go broke. Enjoy!
Networking Leads To Opportunity.......2007-05-15
Harvey Mackay is a master of networking. All of his books stress the importance of professionals focusing on how to make, keep and grow their business relationships.....in this book it the the whole enchillada.
Although I read the book years ago, it is still a wonderful reference for me, now that I speak on the topic. I have learned much from Mr. Mackay, and this book is a must read for anyone who wants to make networking a higher priority.
You will love this book as a networking beginner.......2007-04-30
I have to say, although I have gotten my Ph.D. degree in computer science and have worked around 3 years, I am a beginner in term of networkig (not the computer network). As a beginner, I really love this book because it answers the following questions using real and good stories:
1. What is the network.
2. Who should be in the network.
3. How to meet a new people and make him/her part of your network.
4. How to let others to remember you.
5. Where to start your networking.
6. How to keep your network.
I really enjoy it.
Overall pretty good, just a little too much fluff.......2007-04-13
Overall pretty good, just a little too much fluff. The book in made up of about a 100 short stories about good and bad networking tips. About 70% is pretty good, while the other 30% is fluff. Still a good read.

The Only Astrology Book you'll ever Need.......2007-09-30
This is a fantastic book. I have already constructed charts for some of my friends and interpreted it for them. the book's interpretation of the natal chart is very thorough and unbelievably accurate. The book also provides deep insight and descriptions of how astrological interpretations work that is insightful into the deeper meaning underlying this cosmic tool.

This book is SO on! With any new relationship I check to see what the book predicts and for better or worse it is always right. Maybe I should pay more attention to what the book says and it would save me some time and heart ache ;) The title says it all really.
Very Helpful.......2007-08-23
I already knew the basics of Astrology, but this book and program has helped me a lot. Even my husband, who is very knowledgeable about Astrology, found it quite informative and easy to use
The title says it all.......2007-08-13
I had the original version of this book that was purchased for me at a used book store and I used it to death. When I found that there was an updated version with an interactive CD ROM, I had to have it, and it's wonderful. The CD ROM makes the whole chart experience so easy with page by page reference so that you can go right to the page that involves the person's chart you're working on. It really is the only astrology book you'll ever need. It has everything, and it's so easy to use and understand. I recommend it for anyone new or experienced in the world of astrology.
Lives up to the title.......2007-07-26
I received this as a Birthday gift a few years ago. Having glanced over the tripe presented within, I soon decided that it probably IS the 'only' astrology book I'll ever need. Four years on and I have still not been struck with an urge to seek additional counsel...

Book Description

Suddenly you’re introduced to someone new, Dr. Nice Tomeetya. You forget the pizza. Now is the perfect time to bring up all those strange questions you’d like to ask during an office visit with your own doctor but haven’t had the guts (or more likely the time) to do so. You’re filled with liquid courage . . . now is your chance! If you’ve ever wanted to ask a doctor . . .
•How do people in wheelchairs have sex?
•Why do I get a killer headache when I suck down my milkshake too fast?
•Can I lose my contact lens inside my head forever?
•Why does asparagus make my pee smell?
•Why do old people grow hair on their ears?
•Is the old adage “beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer . . .” really true?
. . . then Why Do Men Have Nipples? is the book for you.
Compiled by Billy Goldberg, an emergency medicine physician, and Mark Leyner, bestselling author and well-known satirist, Why Do Men Have Nipples? offers real factual and really funny answers to some of the big questions about the oddities of our bodies.

All padding, no substance........2007-08-19
I just listened to this on audiobook and was very disappointed. For some reason (most likely to pad the tiny amount of actual information) they felt the need to couch the whole book in a ridiculous and lame cocktail party scenario. It was obviously intended to be funny but was just pathetic. Many questions had the answer of "gee, even doctors don't know that." Wow, thanks! Also, some were so obvious I don't know why they were included (does anyone really NOT know that poppy seeds cause a positive test for opiates because opium comes from poppies? Really?) If you love entertaining bits of info, read "Freakonomics" instead.
Mike Smith needs to lighten up.......2007-08-18
This book is funny, there are some silly questions we may have one time or another wondered about but never asked. Mike Smith seems to think we must be morons if read this book, but in fact the person that reads this book has a sense of humor and light heartedness and sense of wonder. This book is not intended to be an acedemic scholastic educational tool, it's intended for entertainmaint. Geeez Mike, lighten up!
Great gift idea.......2007-08-09
I purchased this for a friend of mine for his birthday. He's a bit of a brain, and I figured this would peak his intrest. Great value.
Typical.......2007-08-03
This book is fun for anyone who doesn't read these much. However, if you are a fan / collector of imponderables, this is one may be a little redundant of many you've read before. Goes on tangents and narratives a lot rather than addressing many questions directly.
Great fun to read.......2007-06-15
I love to read books with interesting facts like this book had. It did have the messenger transcripts between the two guys that kind of take away from the book and I felt were just put there as filler. The tidbits of info they put in this book was interesting, and I read through the book with breeze b/c I couldnt put it down. Id definitely tell others to read it, and have passed my copy around to some of my friends to browse through.

Grant-Writing book recommendation.......2007-09-11
This book is very well-organized, presenting the information in a step-by-step manner that makes it manageable for neophyte would-be grant-writers. I have no doubt that it will serve me well as a continuing resource even as I gain skills and experience.
Helped me through my class!.......2007-05-14
I used this book for a grant writing class I've taken and found it to be a great guide. It's written well and very user friendly. This is definately a book that I'll keep and use through the years when it comes to writing future grants! The resources in the back are helpful and it's fun taking the quizzes and realizing how much I know. Good book...worth buying.
More for organizations than individuals.......2007-04-05
It more geared towards someone writing for grants for a non-profit as opposed to artist/business grants.
Outstanding Guideline.......2007-01-10
Outstanding guideline for anyone needing advice and direction
in regards to writing proposals. Also shows how to present your
group or organization in the best light.
I enjoyed this book.............2006-11-14
This was the first grant-writing book I ever purchased. It has been some time indeed. This is a quality book, but it doesn't provide alot of sources for funding. I would suggest Government Funding and You for a more complete view. But I would very strongly suggest this book.

ASIN: 1579905870 |
Book Description
What do children hope to create when they put pencil to paper? An accurate likeness of the things they see, of course. With this imaginative, informative, and amply-illustrated guide to drawing, it's amazingly easy for kids to make those art dreams come true. After a brief overview of tools and materials, the entertaining hands-on activities begin with contour drawing techniques. With the help of lots of exercises, budding artists will learn the basic elements of shapes (lines, dots, circles) and see how to combine them to make familiar forms. They'll find out how to produce the illusion of volume with shading techniques; create perspective; accurately recreate landscapes, people, animals, and nature; develop interesting compositions; and more.
Customer Reviews:
Excellent beginning book!.......2007-07-30
This book is excellent for the beginning art teacher and drawing student. I am basing a lot of my curriculum on ideas inspired by this book in my upcoming school year. It takes your thoroughly through each step/stage of learning to draw so that anyone can master it! Great illustrations and ideas are perfectly fit onto each page, without annoying "materpieces" that you don't think possible. By the end, you will be drawing with the best of them-- and students will too!
A good start for teenagers.......2007-03-14
The book has enough explanations for those children that want to learn basics of drawing on themselves.
Excellent Drawing Book.......2007-01-17
I purchased this for my 10 year old granddaughter. She loves it. She says it has all different subjects to draw and gives step by step how to.
Wow.......2007-01-12
I teach art classes and was thrilled with this book. It is well written and will have a special place in my library. I refer to it weekly.
Very good but for child serious about drawing.......2007-01-12
I got this book at the library for my 10 year old daughter to see if she would like if before purchasing it. She is talented and comes from artists on her father's side, but had a bad experience with her first Art teacher in a school setting. I was looking for something to spark her confidence and keep her interest high in at least independant and self explorative instruction for now.
She loved the book immediately. Because she had some formal class instruction this year she was able to recognize some of the exercises that she was required to do in class, so that background exposure helped her "get" this book right away. This is a great fundementals darwing book for kids, but it is an exersice with a you can do it attitude book which is what I wanted for my daughter at this time. Something she could read for herself, interpret for herself and try her own way and see what she gets without someone else trying to shape her ideas for her.
The book's attractively layed out for my 10 year old, but I think she will work with this slowly here and there at her own pace, and probably come back to it even more when she's older too. there are some drawing projects but they are not as extensive as the fundimental practices area.
For this reason I also bought her Lee Hammond's series on drawing life like animals for more go right to it and start drawing projects. She is spending more time with that now and I expect as she gets more and more into drawing she'll come back and forth to the therory and the practical fun stuff.
For a child who just wants to draw cool looking picts fast, you might be better off with the lee Ames draw 50 series. My 8 year old son loves these draw or trace books as what he produces looks great with no theory just draw.

Strunk would approve.......2007-04-10
This well organized grammar is what it purports to be. Getting a high school student to use it is the trick. To my mind, it doesn't replace "Strunk and White," The Elements of Style: The Original Edition but it does the job.
Good resource!.......2006-08-19
Good resource for writing! Easy to locate topics and easy to understand!
NOT The Only Grammar Book You'll Ever Need.......2006-08-07
If you want information on how/when to use reflexive pronouns (myself, yourself, etc), and when not to use them, this book won't help you whatsoever. It explains what reflexive pronouns are, but says nothing about usage.
Great for young and old.......2005-10-29
Being a native English speaker, my biggest concern about English grammar was during college when I was ensuring that my papers, exams, etc., were good enough to help me pull good grades. It wasn't until I began to pick up other languages, especially Spanish, that English grammar grabbed my attention.
Learning and teaching a foreign language, ironically, forces you to understand your native tongue better; if for no reason other than comparison's sake. I've occasionally used English grammar guides and books, but found Susan Thurman's to be surprisingly approachable. Grammar books often scare people away who are already nervous about learning the nuts and bolts of a language; not this book, though. Two of my favorite sections are, one, where Thurman compares/contrasts commonly confused words (then/than, etc.) and, two, her explanations about punctuation. Her examples are down-to-earth and drive each point home. Plus, it's small and easily portable. For these reasons, I rate this book 5 stars. If you are looking for a desktop reference for more professional needs, this MIGHT not be for you. However, I believe it to be sufficient for 90-95% of the time, depending on your needs. As I add more reviews, I will add one for a complete (though often unnecessary) book on grammar.
Book Title is Correct........2004-12-08
I agree with the book's title. This book just worked out fine for my needs. The language Susan used in this book is simple and easy-to-follow. The example sentences are good and this book covers many common written-English gotchas.

This book is timely and empowering. It provides guidelines that are detailed and easy to follow so that we can be informed participants in our own healthcare. This is a 'must have' if you: ~believe that you should be a part of the decision-making process regarding your healthcare; ~like being an informed consumer (includes information about diagnostic tests, interpreting results etc.); ~belong to an HMO and have minimal time with your primary care physician or see multiple physicians in large group practices (you can always provide them with up-to-date information); ~want more information about a disease or medical condition (the print and internet resources will direct you to accurate information); ~want to be able to take advantage of the most up-to-date medical and drug interventions (the information YOU can provide for your physician will make that decision easier).
How to Save Your Own Life and the Savard Health Record will make a major impact on the quality of our healthcare. Family and friends on my gift list can expect copies!

A Life Saver.......2000-08-26
I cannot beleive you could read this book and not want to share it with anyone that you care about. This book impowered me to take health care out of the cold hands of the HMO's and put it back in the right hands. Mine and my Docter's. The advice and education you get from Dr. Savard in this book is so valuable. What a great gift to give to the people you love. As a health care professional I know that following the steps in this book and keeping the Savard Medical Record is not an option . I was so impressed with this book and the Medical Record that I shared it with my company. I am pleased to say that Atria Assisted Living saw the same value I did. We are currently exploring the possibilities of using the Savard Medical Record to help us provide optimum care for our residents across the country. If you do not read any books on health... read this one.
