Book Description
In stories that are simple yet elegant, hard-hitting yet poignant, J. California Cooper writes about the search for fulfillment that propels people’s dreams and desires. In “As Time Goes By” a young woman named Futila Ways grows up focusing her dream of a better future on material wealth, only to discover that having everything she ever wanted cannot compensate for the emptiness in her heart. “The Eye of the Beholder” recounts the story of an unattractive young girl, Lily Bea, whose search for love leads her to embrace her own brand of freedom. And in “Catch a Falling Heart” a woman mildly crippled in a fall endures loneliness and solitude until she finds a man and provides a resting place for his love. Each story beautifully conveys the profound human need to seek some sort of satisfaction, just as a wild star seeks a midnight sun.
J. California Cooper’s insights into the hearts and souls of ordinary people and her irresistible storytelling voice have endeared her to fans and critics. As Ms. magazine wrote, “Cooper’s stories beckon. It is as if she is patting the seat next to us, enticing us to come sit and listen.”
Customer Reviews:
Great book!.......2007-08-28
I've read all of j. california cooper's books, and I have to say that she is my favorite author. She has down-home style of writing that draws you into her characters lives and makes you want to just eat her books up! Thank you Ms. Cooper for your meaningful stories!
Not Quite the J. California Cooper I know and Love.......2007-07-25
I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed in this book as it compares to her other novels. I absolutely love J. California and own everything she has ever written, but this book was lacking in a way that I had never seen in her writings. Not every writer can write short stories well. Most can't seem to bring it full circle with a complete "conclusion." She is unique in that she has that ability as a writer; her short stories are full and complete. She is a master story teller. After reading her books, once completed, I am always in anticipation of the "next" one and that may add to my sense of disappointment with this book, but it is still J. California Cooper and that is good enough for me!
Life and the Dream.......2007-05-13
J. California Cooper has a great unique quality of weaving a story that touches the spirit of men and women. These stories along with the many others that she has written over the years cannot compare to other writers. J. is in a class of her own and I highly recommend that you share in the journey.
Speak to My Heart.......2007-02-01
J. California is one author who truly knows how to "speak to my heart" with her stories. This collections of short stories are built on relationships, healings, self esteem and a host of other humanistic emotions. In "As Time Goes By" Futila dreams of having everything she wants, only to wake up and discover that everything she wants CANNOT cure an empty heart. Lily Bea in "Eye of the Beholder" lives for her very own definition of freedom. In the same way stars seek the comfort of the sun the characters in these shorts was seeking the same satisfaction.

Book Description
The Barringer family is happy in the Alaskan Territory. Confronted by an old flame, Leah realizes her feelings never went away and she is whisked away on an unforgettable journey. Alaskan Quest book 1.
Customer Reviews:
a bit predictable but worth the read.......2007-05-09
Jacob Barringer is one of the better male characters I've read. He's adventurous, confident, and loyal, but he's got a little problem with saying exactly what's on his mind, even if it's not the most appropriate thing at the time. I liked that...maybe because I can relate!
On the other hand, Helaina Beecham--the "young investigator" mentioned above--rubbed me entirely the wrong way. She causes all sorts of problems for the other main characters. An unbeliever on a mission to rid the world of evil, she has questionable strategies.
The author uses Helaina's and Jacob's differing opinions on justice and mercy to give a clear presentation of the Gospel, making this book a great gift for a lost friend. For a Christian, though, it was a bit "skimable" during those sections.
If you're looking for a learning experience in the early 1900's Alaskan frontier, you've come to the right place. Peterson paints a beautiful picture of the tundra and its people. America is debating whether to join World War I, and Alaska isn't even a state yet. It makes for a very fresh setting.
The end of the book is left wide open for the next in the series, and I plan on getting on that right away.
Although, I found it a little predictable, it's worth the read.
Nothing special.......2007-01-17
I picked up this book, excited to find another christian romance series from an author I had never read before. About halfway into the book, I realized why. The writing in this book is probably something similar to the books I wrote when I was thirteen. The plot was rushed and pointless, the "christian" characters were fake and unrealistic, and the romance? I can't stand stories of unrequited love when suddenly a light bulb clicks - "Oh, she's so pretty and smart and wonderful. Why didn't I see it before? I must be in love!" THAT is the epitome of forced, and I'm not exaggerating one bit. I did finish reading the book, but at the expense of a wasted afternoon. The story idea had promise, but lacked a better writer. I now have another author I know to avoid.
Alaska Adventure.......2006-09-01
This was an excellent second book in the series. My only complaint is that she left you dangling and the third book will not be out until this fall.
I loved this book!.......2006-08-23
Okay, so before I get started on my review let me just say that I didn't realize before I picked this book up that it is a spinoff of the "Yukon Quest" series. So, if you want to get the backstory on the Leah and Jacob (two of the main characters), you should read the Yukon Quest series first. Now that I got that out of the way...
This was the first book I've read by Tracie Peterson, and it made me want to read more of her stuff. I have to agree with some who said the book was pretty predictable, but I read so much that most books are predictable to me, especially romances...I mean what romance book isn't predictable? Anyway, I loved that this story held a little bit of everything, romance, adeventure, betrayal, and even history. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the Alaskan wilderness and the dangers and struggles the characters went through while living there.
All in all, this book is fabulous, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes historical Christian fiction; however, if you're not into the whole historical fiction scene, don't buy this book because you probably won't like it.
Great Alaskan Adventure...........2006-06-01
I really enjoyed "Summer". The story felt as real as the characters. Nothing was hurried as often is the case in books. You felt like you were there with Leah and Jacob. I am looking forward to book 2 due out in July.
One thing I will mention is that Tracie's Yukon Quest Series..."Treasures of the North", "Ashes and Ice" and "Rivers of Gold" are excellent as well and in these books we first meet Jacob and Leah when they were young. You also meet Karen and Adrik who are mentioned in "Summer". It's always great to get the history! It makes the story more complete. I read "Summer" first then went back and read the Yukon series.

Book Description
In July 2001, a team of nine modern-day adventurers journeyed to North Peary Land, Greenland, an area located north of the Arctic Circle that encompasses the world's largest national park. Known as The 2001 Return To The Top Of The World Expedition, the team summited several of the remaining unclimbed peaks in the northernmost mountain range in the world. They also took measurements to determine which of these is actually the northernmost mountain peak on Earth. In addition to their historic climbing adventure, the team conducted a series of scientific studies aimed at determining the effect of global pollution on this pristine Arctic environment.
For six members of the team this was their second trip to the far north. In 1996 team leaders John Jancik and Ken Zerbst, along with team members Terri Baker, Steve Gardiner, Joe Sears, and Jim Schaefer were part of an expedition to locate and verify Oodaaq Island, the current northernmost point of land on the planet. It was in the aftermath of that journey that the plan for the current trip was born.
Early on the team decided to dedicate the 2001 return expedition to the memory of legendary singer/songwriter John Denver, in honor of his commitment to the environment and protection of the wilderness. On July 18, 2001 the Expedition team successfully summited the highest unclimbed peak in the Roosevelt Range. The Expedition has named this mountain, one of the northernmost on Earth, "JOHN DENVER PEAK". Feeling that it is very fitting that this peak be named in honor of the late humanitarian and environmental activist, the Expedition has received worldwide support and congratulations. Such notables as Jean-Michel Cousteau, Annie Denver and Colorado Governor Bill Owens, as well as several of John Denver's family members, have participated in this honor of Mr. Denver.
In the true spirit of this extraordinary man, StarsEnd Creations is pleased to have been a supporter of this expedition through a corporate sponsorship. We are also excited to announce our latest publication, Under The Midnight Sun, the story of this epic journey to the Arctic. Drawn from the journals and photographs of the team, John Jancik, Steve Gardiner and Javana Richardson (author of A Tribute To John Denver), will tell the exciting story of this expedition into the unexplored reaches of our planet. With magnificent photos inside and on the cover by National Geographic photographer, the late Galen Rowell, this is an extraordinary work that anyone with an interest in our beautiful wilderness, the world's environment, or who is a fan of John Denver, will want to own.

COMPELLING, INSPIRING AND A FITTING TRIBUTE TO JOHN DENVER.......2003-05-08
When I learned of this dramatic account of the recent expeditions to track the planet's northernmost point of land, I knew that it was a must-read. Not only is it an exciting story about adventurers who succeeded in their goal, it brings a fitting tribute to John Denver to the outdoor community. John Jancik, Javana Richardson and Steve Gardiner have offered a book here that parallels Jon Krakauer's bestselling "Into Thin Air."
UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN will hold you from page one and as it tells of the ascent of John Denver Peak, it also will teach you about the extreme challenges of high altitude mountaineering and the interactive human factors of survival. A bonus is the inclusion of the fine photography by the late Galen Rowell, who joined the expedition.
Most of us know John Denver through his music, his environmental legacy and his humanitarian work. UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN fills in many gaps left by Denver's death in that it explains the beauty and the gift of nature itself in an isolated land free of the commercial drama found on Everest. This is not a trinket named for John Denver, it is the story of men and women who wanted Mr. Denver's legacy to live forever.
You will turn the pages of UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN again and again and hold on every word. I am pleased to recommend this book to everyone.

Customer Reviews:
Excellent Book.......2006-08-24
I wish the author hadn't died because the Kane novels are some of the better fantasy I have ever read. No wonder they are hard to find, everyone wants them.
Run-of-the-mill.......2006-05-09
A collection of short stories and novella centered on the character of Kane, an (apparently) immortal warrior/sorcerer. The writing is o.k. but the character of Kane seems a little flat to me. It's run-of-the-mill swords and sorcery writing, obviously inspired by Robert Howard (Conan) but not as good.
About time...!.......2005-10-27
A decade after his death, somebody finally got around to compiling a tribute to the late, great Karl Edward Wagner and his greatest creation, the arch-hero, Kane, in a two-volume set: Gods in Darkness, the Complete Novels of Kane, and this volume, The Midnight Sun, which contains all of the short stories, poems, etc., that have been floating around, mostly out of print, for the last decade or so.
Kane was my first experience with Wagner. Back in the '70's, when I was still a wee lad and most of my friends were reading stuff like The Outsiders, I stumbled on a paperback copy of Death Angel's Shadow, the one with the Frazetta cover, and spent the next few nights hiding in bed; under my covers, flashlight on long after midnight, altering my mind with this combination of Robert E. Howard and Lovecraft.
Now, after reading most of his published work, for my buck, the noveletta's contained here are absolutely Wagner's best writing, period. The shorter Kane stories are nightmarishly bizarre, violent, and punchy, unlike Wagner's complete novels which tend to be a bit bloated and have a tendency to lose momentum (although they're still worth reading, by all means). The novel Bloodstone (contained in 'God's') is particularly inconsistent. That seems natural, since Wagner tended to work in the short story format, both in his own work and as the editor of other authors' works, in his many horror anthologies.
As far as the compilations go, they're okay. There are lots of typo's in the text (nitpicky, I know, but c'mon...), and frankly, my biggest gripe - the Ken Kelly covers just stink. Nobody does Wagner and Kane (or fantasy illustration in general) justice like Frank Frazetta.
Anyway. Say what you will about the likes of Lin Carter, L. Sprague de Camp, Manly Wade Wellman, Fritz Leiber, et al, there are really only two masters of what's come to be known as 'dark fantasy': Robert E. Howard, and Wagner.
This volume is great. Pick it up and enjoy.
Title Difference.......2005-08-09
I bought my book about 3 years ago and I still read it over and over again. Out of my little library, this is my favorite book. I was looking at the complete series, and I noticed that one of the stories is called "The Lair of Yslsl" (or something to that extent) and I was wondering if it is the same as "Dark Crusade"

Book Description
J. California Cooper’s irresistible collection of new stories explores the universal themes of romance, family, and the hopes that propel people’s dreams.
In “As Time Goes By” a young woman singlemindedly pursues material wealth, only to suffer from an empty heart. “Catch a Falling Heart” tells of a slyly arranged marriage, and “The Eye of the Beholder” portrays a plain girl’s search for love and her own brand of freedom. Wise, earthy and intimate, these stories are moving parables of the human need to seek some sort of satisfaction, just as a wild star seeks a midnight sun.

Book Description
In The Sun Dog, the concluding novella in Stephen King's best-selling Four Past Midnight, the source of terror is a simple Polaroid camera owned by a 15-year-old boy in the small town of Castle Rock, Maine. No matter where Kevin Delevan aims the camera, it produces a photograph of an enormous, ugly, vicious looking dog. In each successive picture, the menacing creature draws nearer to the flat surface of the Polaroid film as if it intends to break through. When old Pop Merrill, the town's sharpest trader, gets wind of this phenomenon, he envisions a way to profit from it--but the Sun Dog, a beast that shouldn't exist at all, turns out to be a very dangerous investment.
Customer Reviews:
Journeyman work by the master.......2003-06-19
This review refers mostly to the unabridged cassette version.
Typical Stephen King story. Starts out great and is fun getting there but far to often the ending (just like this story) is unsatisfying. The story involves a young teen who get a polaroid camera that does far more than take regular snap shots. Not really unique story telling but there are a number of interesting characters in the story. In particular Pop Merrill. A character so intricately drawn, that it is hard to tell if he is a good guy or a bad guy.
Overall I liked this story but I don't feel Mr. King put his all in this story. First off there is darn near a metaphor on every single page. I can't begin to count the number of times a sentence went something like " . . . it was like . . ." Another problem with the story is that it contained a number of flash forwards that went nowhere. One character has a flash forward but dies before the previously mentioned flash forward can come to pass. And the ending . . . Well, I won't ruin anything, but if you are familiar with these type of stories, you will not be surprised.
A hesitant recommendation, perhaps a library book more than a book store purchase. The audio cassette version read by Tim Sample is superbly done. He is able to carry off all the voices and his Pop Merrill is so nicely done, at times it seems it was a different reader.
Sun Dog.......2002-04-04
I absolutely loved this book! The Sun Dog had me on the edge of my seat, biting my fingernails and scared to pick up an instamatic camera ever again! It was one of King's best. At the end of the book, however, there's a mention of a sequel - and I've been waiting for that for some time - I hope it happens....
Mr. King "blurs the line" and suspends disbelief so smoothly.......1999-10-23
"Chilling" is the best description for this trip into the imagination of Stephen King and his characters. You hate 'em, you love 'em and you feel the beads of sweat on their foreheads.... This was a grimy read, and I was amazed at my discomfort and growing anxiety as the plot developed and then exploded... What a trip!!! Highly recommend it.
Brilliant Work by a Genius.......1999-09-24
Absoulutly brilliant and touching. I love Stephen King
A wonderful, Thoughtful piece of Fiction.......1999-09-24
The Sun Dog was frightening as much as it was touching. Stephen King is America's greatest living writer. I loved it.

Customer Reviews:
OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!! A MUST READ TREASURE !!!!!!!!!!.......2005-07-25
"Midnight Sun" is a fantastic novel, ful of romance, adventure and surprises. The characters are wonderful and the plot is totally amazing.
Actually, I would like to give it 5,5 Stars because Lisa Tawn Bergren deserves more than 5 Stars for that magnificent story of love and friendship.
I consider myself a very exigent reader, but Lisa Tawn Bergren has surprised me with this amazing series (the best I ever read in a long time). I could not put it down once I began reading.
I highly recommend you to read the whole series !!!!! (But, you have to read the series in order)
An awesome ending...........2000-04-22
This is an awesome ending! Midnight Sun is a definite must read for anyone who has read The Captain's Bride and Deep Harbor. When I finished the first two, I felt like I was in the middle of a great movie and the electricity went out! I couldn't wait to see how things ended with Karl, Elsa, Kaatje, Tora and Trent. I only wish that Karl has resolved things with his father. Overall, an excellent book. I'm looking forward to her next book.
A Great Wrap-up.......2000-03-16
If you read The Captain's Bride and Deep Harbor then this is a must. I only regret that this is the last book in the series. I will truly miss the characters! Lisa, another book well written!
A ending worthy of the first two..............2000-03-16
Lisa Tawn Bergren has done an excellent job of wrapping up all the lives we learned to love (and some we didn't!) in the first two of this trilogy. CAPTIAN'S BRIDE and DEEP HARBOR kept you on the edge of your chair and at times exclaiming - "she can't do that to that character!". In MIDNIGHT SUN, you can relax a little more while reading, but for me it was still a "stay up and read until it's finished" wonderful, satisfying ending. The author may state this is the end to this series, but I wonder if she would consider another book with the children all grown up? Does Alaska have to be the final frontier for these wonderful characters? Read all three books, you will laugh and cry with the rest of us!
A great ending to the trilogy!.......2000-03-14
I just finished Midnight Sun and it was heart-breaking when I read the last page and knew that I would never know what further happened to Karl,Elsa, James, Kaatje, Tora and Trent. I would have appreciated a longer epilogue, maybe, and less time on Soren, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy!

This is the good stuff!.......2007-09-05
Rene Lyons created a group of arrogant templar warriors that made me immediately addictive to them!
It takes a moment or two for the story to pick you up but from that moment it is relentless to let you go. A handful of templar's lure you with each page more into their journey, their past, their battle against the renegades and the everlasting bloodlust. This story is focused on Sebastian and Allie and introduces you to each of the templar's and their seductive nicknames. The hunger Sebastian a.k.a. The Sage feels in his soul for this stubborn but courages woman echoes throughout this novel, he can deny it all he wants, he can avoid Allie all he wants but still love will find a way. In the mean time he and his brother-in-arms are also desperately searching for the Daystar and the renegades are not far behind.
The plot enticed me to keep reading as I craved for the renegades to be punished and a quest that raised a curiosity in me, the past holds more secrets but when will they be revealed?? For me Rene Lyons wraps up the good stuff in a stunning story! As the templar's are damned in death and now as creatures of the night they walk a hard path to redemption. Still I felt the fire of their hope and believe various times burning in their minds.
This is definitely a story that echoes in your mind after you've finished it. Each templar brings their own vibe to it giving it a spicy bite. Rene Lyons has given the city of Damascus true vampire evil to destroy and she described it with such a vivid detail I could feel the desperation of the women who've been captured and the peace that came with the realization of the inevitable. This world Rene Lyons created sparkles and sizzles with emotions the characters go through, joy, laughter, sadness and pain and they all made me feel it. The templar's with their history, tragedy, courage and unique male bonding is something I always love to read about.
And then there was the final of this book that was an outburst of pure evil and danger that had me enthralled until the very last page with blurry eyes. Also there was a cliff hanger that made me question what would happen next.
Rene Lyons captures the reader with a well spun tale which reflects a promising sign for the rest of the series.

Thank you.......2007-09-01
To everyone who has read my debut novel, Midnight Sun, I truly thank you. I tried my best to bring readers into a world that is a blending of both the medieval age and modern times. I hope you all enjoy these characters as much as I love writing them!
Thank you also for taking the time to write a review of my book...good or bad. I apologize for the errors left in Midnight Sun and promise you that if the book is re-released, those distracting errors will absolutely be corrected.
And the five star rating isn't for the book, but for everyone who took the time to read my book. :)

Just In Case of Desperate Lack of ANYthing Else to Read .... .......2007-08-31
New authors and new publishing houses are always a risk and this one just didn't pay off quite as well as I had hoped. The typesetting in the book features double-spacing between each paragraph which is an annoying waste of space. Although the characters are written on the shallow side, there is always an eye towards future books. It's like the characters are written with signs of the future book titles tatooed on their chest! The female lead is OK, but spunky females really need a little more sense--she starts out snooping around in her friends house, going through their personal effects--all because she has a key! There IS a small difference between a key and permission to conduct a detailed search!. Just hold out for the used copy.
Interesting but distracting........2007-08-06
I read this book in its e-format, which I bought directly from the publisher. While I thought the story was interesting, there were a few things that detracted heavily from the story. Most notably of these detractions were all of the errors in the book. I cannot vouch for the print version, but the e-version had at least one error per page. You would think that the editors would have done a better job of finding them all.
I also thought that it sucked that the book left me hanging as to the status of one of the characters, but I then found out that there is a sequel. Unfortunately, I am unsure that I want to buy the sequel because of the errors found in this one. It was rather frustrating to read it. It was like reading uneditted fanfiction.
Don't get me wrong, the story is great. I would like to find out what happens to the other characters. But if poor grammar drives you nuts, don't buy this book unless you can get verification that the errors are corrected in the print version.
I LOVED this story........2007-03-30
I was so sucked in, that even though I was exhausted, I didn't put it down till the end and I haven't felt that way about a book by a new author in a long time!
Okay, I liked everything about Alli (the heroine), but her job as a Ghost Hunter in this story is a side issue. It's there to describe who she is more than what she does. Her life with the Templars is the important thing, so when you read this, keep that in mind. Sebastian (the hero) is delicious, as are all the Templars, and I dearly hope at least ONE of their stories starts out in their shared past, because THAT world has got me more than intrigued!
The sexual heat between Alli and Sebastian kept up throughout the story, as well as a bit of tension between the next pairing! Very well done.
You know what I loved most? The backstory of the how they became Vamps. The vamp thing has been done over and over. I used to avoid them because the Bram Stoker/Anne Rice hook never got me. What I find I am liking, and which is turning me toward the Vamp paranormals more and more, is the twists on the backstories.
Ms. Lyons's twist I thoroughly fell for. Why? Because she doesn't shy from the religious implications. NO not in a trite, inspy, way- but rather taking the myths built up around well known characters and playing on them. Michael the Archangel for example. (Oh, I'd love to hear HIS story- well the Michael from Ms. Lyon's world that is!) Perfect use of him in Midnight Sun, if only as a backstory. I also loved that the Templars, though seemingly condemned by God- and I'm not buying that, because it seems God is letting them be redeemed through love- still longed for a return from a lost belief in a loving God, in however small way they could. (And I could very well be reading into that a bit much. Still, that's why I liked it as much as I did!)
The story ended extremely emotionally, setting us up for the next book, The Daystar, which I cannot WAIT to read.

Annoyingly predictable.......2006-01-04
Kat's book could've been A LOT better. I don't know what happened. I wanted to throw this thing away even half way thru the book. It was so annoyingly predictable, I wanted to scream. Hope the others are a Lot better. I couldn't even relate to the characters in this one. This was VERY poorly written; I mean, the ending was the best part cuz the story was over.
Absolutely loved this book and the author.......2005-02-10
This was the first book I read by Kat Martin, but it was not the last. After reading it, almost a year ago, I have purchased almost all of her books. I love the variety of topics and locations she covers in all of her books. This book in particular was nice because it dealt with current day and was believable.
Midnight Sun is a winner.......2003-07-26
Charity Sinclair has decided that she needs to do something anything to bring some excitement into her life. She has had a life long fascination with the Yukon and the Gold Rush Era. Charity buys herself a claim and off to the Yukon she goes. Call Hawkins, her neighbor wants his peace and quiet back. Besides the noise involved with mining for the gold, there is the intense attraction he fells for Charity. Call came to the Yukon to hide from a painful past but Charity is chipping away at the wall he has built around his heart. But there is something sinister from Call's past is making its presence felt. It's threatening their newfound relationship. This book is fast paced, edgy and oh so sexy. Kat Martin has written another wonderful book.
good quick read.......2003-07-04
This was not Kat Martin's best book, but it was entertaining. The plot moved quickly, but at times very predictable. Good for a plane ride, or vacation reading. Easy to put down and come back to later. Worth picking up to read.
1/2 Stars - Good, but Forgettable.......2003-06-18
Really old romance book premise. If you are a fan of Kat Martin, I would read Hot Rain. This is good and entertaining, but it is total mind candy. It goes fast, and you forget it equally quickly. I read this last night, and I already had to review it a bit to remember the plot line.
Charity is bored w/her life, and decides to move to the Yukon to prospect for Gold for 6 mos. She thinks this will give her what she feels she has been missing before she finds the guy to settle down with and have a family. She wants a grand adventure 1st. There is some talk of her 2 sisters looking for the same thing, so we may see their stories in the future.
When she goes to the Yukon, she conveniently bought a plot of land right next to a brooding tall gorgeous guy w/attitude (sound familiar?). Anyway this guy doesn't want her there, but wants her, and also convient, happens to be a retired billionaire. (I really could have handled a millionaire) Of course you can not tell it by the way he lives, he is obviously comfortable, but not to that extent. He is also way moody, (what billionaire isn't) and goes back and forth with the way he feels about Charity.
She is not a wimp, and after finding out that he had sex w/someone before he had her, she makes him sweat it out for 2 weeks, before he get back in her "good graces". Can we say who cares if he got a hummer from someone before they were?
Anyway, it is o.k. KM tries to liven the plot w/a neat little twist of this guy who is trying to kill them, so there are a lot of accidents. Hoky, but a good read. I have not read this much of a romance in awhile, and it was a nice change of pace, but I could not read too many in a row. Overall, this book is a good time filler, and well written.
