Book Description

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.

Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.

5 out of 5 stars Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09

There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.

For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.

4 out of 5 stars History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10

Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.

I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.

Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.

Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.

I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.

This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Melanie Jackson is a cool writer, doing things most other romance writers would never tackle. While not my favorite read of this author, this is very different. Lord Byron meets Frankenstin? Who else but Ms. Jackson would have thought of this concept.

I appreciated her imagination and inventive story. Not her best, but a good change of pace.

1 out of 5 stars Not worth your time or your money.......2007-02-18

I was looking forward to reading this, as the premise of the book was quite intriguing to me, but I couldn't even make it past the first 70 pages. The writing was dull, the connection between the characters was superficial, and I found myself drifting off in thought in the middle of reading--not very engrossing if a grocery list takes precedence in the forefront of your mind. As other reviewers have mentioned, the character of Brice Ashton was (it seems) a thinly veiled incarnation of the author herself, who, it would appear, fancies herself a Byron expert, to the point that she knows him almost as well as he knew himself. I confess, I know very little about Byron, other than what is common knowledge, but after reading the first few chapters of this, I have no desire to know more. He seemed egotistical and self-important, and though that can make for a compelling male lead if cast against the proper female protagonist, I had very little incentive to wade through the drivel to find out how it would all end.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent beginning, but not so good ending.......2006-09-19

It's strange, but I've been noticing more and more in very different books that I have the same problem with them: abrupt switches in the very basics of how the story develops, which means I get two distinct halves, one of which works much better than the other one.

This is exactly what happened with Divine Fire. While the first half is a wonderful gothic character-driven romance, the entire second half is basically a bloody, gory non-stop, break-neck action scene. I loved the first part, but the second one, not so much. My final grade would be a B-... the average between a much higher grade for the first part and a much lower one for the rest.

The basic premise of Divine Fire is that due to what was supposed to be a revolutionary treatment for epilepsy involving electricity and a Dr. Frankenstein-like physician, Lord Byron became an immortal being. His demise in Greece was only the first of a series of simulated deaths, and he's spent his existence ever since living 20 years here, 30 years there, moving as soon as people start thinking: hmm, it's weird this man is not looking any older!

In his current incarnation Byron is Damien Ruthven, a filthy-rich book reviewer living in an old gothic building he owns in New York City. One day he receives a huge biography of Lord Byron and is shocked at the way this unknown writer has managed to "get" him. Against all his rules, he writes this woman a letter mentioning there are a couple of errors there, and hinting he might have some papers which could throw some light on these areas.

When Brice Ashton receives Damien's letter, her first thought is that he might have a copy of Byron's famous autobiography, the one that was destroyed by his editors at his widow's request. So she impulsively flies into NYC (a couple of days before Christmas, no less!), and barges into Ruthven's office.

This first half that I liked so much gives us nothing more than Brice and Ruthven getting to know each other and working together. They click the minute they meet, and given that the weather is just filthy and there's a huge electrical storm coming in, and that he has plenty of space in the penthouse Damien offers Brice to stay there (and, he adds, there's no way he can allow her to remove the very rare, valuable and irreplaceable papers he shows her from his building, so if she stays, she'll be able to work on them as long as she wants).

These first sections are all very quiet and low-key, and involve many long conversations, including some fascinating ones about authors like Lord Byron (Damien is again struck by how well Brice understands who he was) and Ninon de Lenclos, about whom Brice is writing her next book. But most of all, they talk about themselves and each begins to explore the other's bagagges.

I liked the way Jackson dealt with Brice discovering Damien's secret. It could easily have become a tedious issue, but just as she so easily sees the motivations of the original Lord Byron, Brice instictively latches on to the things that don't jive and leaps to some interesting (and correct) conclusions. This would have ordinarily felt like a bit too much, but the way Jackson had set up the almost mystical understanding between Damien and Brice, it worked.

Damian was an interesting, very engaging character. I'm not usually fond of having real historical personages show up in my romance novels, and that goes double if they are one of the protagonists! I guess I was ok with it here because it was just so out there (a plot line in which, say, the heroine is a Regency Miss who falls in love with Byron wouldn't have worked nearly as well) Plus, fortunately I don't know much about Byron's private life, so I wasn't distracted by any preconceived notions.

Brice was a pretty cool character as well. She's a woman marked by a certain horrific tragedy in her past (and it really was horrific), but while this does make her a bit skittish with men and Damien has to work to reach her, she isn't tediously stubborn about it.

I also loved the ambience in this part of the book. As I said, Damien owns this fascinating gothic building in NYC, and though he doesn't occupy all of it, the other tenants are all companies, so the building pretty much empties by evening. The setting, combined with the freakish electrical storm circling around the city like a bird of prey (which has some, ah, interesting physical effects on Damien), makes for some wonderful atmosphere.

So, what happens to almost ruin what was going so well? Simple: around the half-way mark, the physician who performed those experiments on Lord Byron shows up, an army of zombies in tow, determined to destroy his "creation". And so, from a lush, intense and romantic story, this turns into a campy bloodbath of a zombie movie. Not that I have anything about campy zombie movies (in fact, I actually quite like them!), but it just didn't go at all with the first part of the book, and it went on for much too long. After the nice, romantic first half, to have our hero and heroine dealing with being sprayed with brains and assorted body parts was a bit disconcerting.

Still, even this huge action scene was a bit better than the usual action scene, which basically puts me to sleep. I would have prefered that the story continue in the vein it had started, but I'd still recommend the book.

2 out of 5 stars unadbashedly shameful.......2006-09-08

I normally find M. Jackson's books mostly original, cute and fun. Forget references to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and look a little closer to now. I am sitting here wondering why she decided to take the Lord Byron as vampire character of Tom Holland's 1995 Lord of the Dead and 1997 Slave of My Thirst and turn those 768 pages of Byronic angst into a 339 page romance novel. Holland does Byron the vampire much better. I recommend the Holland books to those who read more than romance novels.

1 out of 5 stars My worst book of the year award goes to............2005-12-18

This poorly written, clumsily crafted, paranormal romance lacked both the believability in the plot and the romance. I actually finished the book, against my better judgment, because I kept thinking it would certainly draw me in at some point. It didn't. The premise.... Lord Byron being nearly immortal through a medical experiment gone awry could have been a compelling story. The idea holds a creative possibility. His attachment to Brice Ashton was poorly written at best. No sizzle. No plausible romance. I have read books that lacked the character development, but held it together with the plot and the forward movement of action. I've read books that have been a little clumsy with the plot development, but you felt drawn to the characters so it was ok. This is the first book so lacking in both that I didn't care if the main characters survived their Christmas or not. At one point, I was weighing in and hoping the ghouls would put me out of my misery by doing away with the two main characters. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary and a good read... keep looking. This book is the worst I've read this year.

My favorite play was Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. I'm not sure if this is out in any other form, but certainly the book is worth buying just to read this play, which has the deftness and economy of a classic Greek text, and the emotional range and subjective depth of a modern classic. She's my favorite author of plays.

    Book Description

People of every religious tradition attribute transcendent moments of inspiration to the divine. However, when asked to define the Spirit of God, most people have only a vague sense of what it really is. In FIRE AND LIGHT, Jon Robertson searches for evidence of a unifying spiritual intelligence among the world's religious texts, scientific theories, and spiritual philosophies. This off-road quest leads him through the Bible, the Qu'ran, and the Bhagavad Gita to psychotherapists, mystics, and even a retired sailor from Southern California. At the end of his pursuit, Robertson discovers a powerful and loving force accessible to everyone on the planet.

    5 out of 5 stars A Good Ride.......2007-04-20

    We Are One In Spirit
Describe in words the New World Symphony so that I can have the experience of it. That is the task Jon Robertson offers as a challenge equal to that of attempting to help people experience the Creative Spirit by using words to do so. In making this comparison, he is confessing that he realizes that his intentions for writing his book, Fire and Light: An Off-Road Search for the Spirit of God (Celestial Arts) will be difficult to achieve. When asked questions about spiritual matters, I've regularly used the silent motto, "spirit unites, words divide," worried that a verbal answer will most likely lead to confusion or distraction rather than to enlightenment. For a person who makes a living with words, I often wish, when coming up on stage to give a "talk," that I could serenade the audience instead. Aesthetic experiences, rather than intellectual ones, seem to be a more natural doorway to the spiritual.
Jon, a professional writer and editor, handles this challenge first by demonstrating just how universal is the experience of spirit, regardless of its name. Quotations from the world's religious and spiritual literature offer proof that Spirit does not pay attention to theology. Jon shares his own stories, and the stories of many others who've had realizations of Spirit in their lives. Such stories exemplify Cayce's attitude that we do a better service to others when we share of our experiences than when we preach from things we've read. Stories invite empathy, explanations invite thought.
Shortly after being introduced to Edgar Cayce, I had a dream in which a white dove comes down out of the sky and nestles in my chest, letting me know I am loved. In the inaugural issue of Venture Inward magazine, I wrote about that dream and how it led to my spiritual recovery from alcoholism. Years later, as Spirit continues to have its way with me, I've become a "recovering intellectual," developing more trust in other ways of knowing, even it sometimes means sacrificing understanding. I had a dream, for example, where I am at a circus arcade attempting to "win" the white dove by throwing a lapis lazuli stone at it. As I ready my swing, the dove flies up into the air and lands on my shoulder, showing that you can't win what is a gift. Sometimes the attempt to understand is an attempt to win control. There's the paradox to spirituality. As a spiritual being having a human experience, the human strives to attain what is already present. "Be still," quit trying to understand, but "know, I am God."
It's easier said than done. Jon identifies the qualities of Spirit--immortality, the "I am" awareness, inwardness, unity, creativity, freedom, love and the male/female dynamic--and he explores what we might refer to as the "technology of spirit," such as the Golden Rule, kindness, service, patience, etc. The dilemma arises because even though following the Golden Rule helps make our actions consistent with Spirit, following the rules isn't the same as being inspired. It depends upon "who" is following the rules.
After my conversion from active alcoholism to being a recovering alcoholic, my way of being in the world changed, from envisioning myself as a powerful motor boat to being a sailboat, a shift from the illusion of "self-reliance," to an appreciation for learning the skill that allows one to flow with the wind. It was a shift from being a race car driver, so proud of the impressions one can make upon the audience, to being a humble chauffeur, serving a higher power whose intentions were my driving instructions.
"Less and less of me, more and more of God" is a universal spiritual prayer. The paradox is that the more effort we put into it, the stronger becomes the "me" who is making the effort. Maybe the solution is to let Spirit to the work.
Spirit is universally envisioned in the breath. Meditating upon the breath would seem to be a natural way to experience the activity of Spirit, both within oneself, and also among us all, for we breathe that same air, propelled by that same force of life. Yet I've found that even within the "mindfulness meditation" tradition," which uses the breath as a focus, there seems to be no receptivity to the Spirit within the breath itself. Instead the breath is used primarily as a mental anchor in the attempt to "hold on to awareness." Holding on is hard work.
Here is the prayer for meditation that the Spirit within the breath has taught me: "I can be aware of the breathing and at the same time let it be. I can let go of the breathing and let Spirit breathe me. I trust the inspiration and am grateful for this gift of life. Spirit breathes me and gives me love to share. Thank you. Thank you." With such a meditation, I can retire from having myself as a "job," from having the responsibility to create a spiritual "makeover" of myself. Henry Reed henry@henryreed.com

4 out of 5 stars Understanding the nonunderstandable........2007-04-04

I am enjoying the book and agree with his major thesis that the Spirit is around and in us. It's an intellectual explanation of something that is beyond intellectual and resides in experiences, so it can help those who turn off works of the Spirit because they can't intellectually believe it.

5 out of 5 stars Fire and Light Review.......2006-11-03

I found Jon Robertson's Fire and Light very comforting. It was familiar territory to me since I, too, have been searching for the spirit throughout my life. His research was so in depth and his many interviews served to heighten the sense of human unity. Some of Jon's conclusions felt like old friends; some were brilliantly new and obviously inspired by the Spirit. His style was journalistic in that it was extremely fair, even loving to every possible point of view. Bravo!

5 out of 5 stars Compelling and Inspiring.......2006-10-19

Fire & Light expresses a personal approach to experiencing the divine. The book links people of various centuries, regions, religions, and lifestyles through individualized but simultaneously universal experiences of divine spirit. Though the author incorporates plenty of historical context and facts, it is the unpretentious, honest, and open way that Robertson's theories and ideas are presented that make this book stand out. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in a down to earth, modern perspective of a timeless topic.

5 out of 5 stars Finding the Spirit.......2006-10-07

Jon Robertson has provided a universal, nondenominational path to follow if your longing is to know Spirit, answering the questions you may have about how it has moved throughout history and how it is moving perhaps even more powerfully today. Many of us feel a wave of Spirit crossing the world at this time, whispering to open hearts and minds everywhere: "Awaken, awaken. It is time." Perhaps you are also feeling the call to turn to Spirit.

This beautifully written book--filled with inspiring stories, wisdom, and very practical advice; by turns intimate, warm, and funny--is for those who want to find or deepen their relationship with the Spirit or Presence of God, which is everywhere, in all times, and in all people, guiding, inspiring, helping. Before you have even finished it, you will trust--if you don't already--in both the reality of Spirit (through the dozens of stories of people like you and me) and in the complete availability of its presence in your life.

If you are ready to find or deepen your oneness with the Spirit and are looking for a guidebook, Jon's will serve you better than any other I have seen. He and the Spirit have together brought forth a book of living water.

I first purchased this book in the 70's and was surprised to see this reissue. I bought it again and not only thoroughly enjoyed it, but found it to be current and relative to much that is happening today. Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Revelations: Predictably Amazing! Steiger Does it Again...Revised Even!.......2007-03-09

When I first flipped through some of the first few pages of this book, I wondered where Brad was going with it. Was he going to write a book about biblical prophecies and try and link them to past, present and future world events? Was he going to try and highlight modern-day prophets and show how even an "average joe" could predict the future...or was he just going to get some scientists together and make some logical sense out of prophecies, predictions and their fulfillment? Well...it turned out all of these were covered and thensome!

Brad Steiger brings together so many experts, gifted people and "ordinary people" together to bring to light what it is that makes prophecies tick and how they have evolved over the centuries. From the holy prophecies of Elijah to the amazing insight of Nostradamus, prophecies are all around us and form the fabric of our society. Brad reminds us how fragile our world is, how important the gifted are and how we can no longer ignore them.

If one message pervades throughout this fantastic book, then it would have to be this:

BE FOREWARNED. The warnings and messages of hope alike have been coming our way for centuries and if we continue to ignore them, we may be ill-prepared when our time comes...and if Brad's book is a premonition itself...then it appears that we haven't learned our lesson yet.

5 out of 5 stars Just brilliant as ever.......2006-12-15

It is about time this book came back into print and with such a marvellous cover too. Brad Steiger crafted a genius work with Revelation that explained such a lot for so many people. The work is truly inspirational and reveals the depth of the human psyche and the inner workings in such a way not seen since Carl Jung moved on. Every psychologist on the planet should read what Steiger has written in-order to better comprehend the more paranormal, paradoxical and sometimes pathological aspects of the human machine we call the brain - it does in fact have more to it than we all realize. Excellent work!

As a writer myself, I can only marvel at how well this book is constructed and reads as it presents a page-turner of spiritual experiences that are indeed timeless. From the opening to the closing, I could not but be in awe at the overall candidness, the clarity, and the comprehensive manner that Brad Steiger employed as he weaves these tales of truth-seekers into the Big Picture of Reality. More so, I consider this book to be the baseline for all of us that do research into the paranormal realms; it is the gold standard in fact. What a treasure chest to have in one's home library as it will remain in mine until the End Time and, perhaps, beyond! So do yourself a favor and buy this classic that has been reborn to be a collector's item today. It is truly a marvelous work and a wonder in and of itself from a literary standpoint, yet the content is also out of this world, literally!

        Book Description

This monograph challenges the widely-held assumption that Deuteronomy so emphasizes God's transcendence that he is excluded from the earthly sphere. It does so by examining a number of possible references to divine Presence in both the historical and legal sections of the book and concludes that the Deity is portrayed as being present not only in heaven but also in battle, on the mountain (Horeb) and at the "chosen place." It thus questions the view popularized by von Rad, that in Deuteronomy it is "not Jahweh himself who is present at the shrine, but only his name."

          5 out of 5 stars Finding Meaning.......2007-08-23

Kathie FitzPatrick's book, Angel Promises, is a journey into the odyssey of losing someone precious in one's life and then, through the process of this experience, attempting to find a purpose that goes well beyond the loss and the pain. The book is the story about Karen, her daughter who died in the Thirtymile Fire in July 2001. It is a story told through Karen's poetry, writings and experiences. But Angel Promises is also a dialog by a parent, and rightly so, as it describes a mother who, while celebrating her daughter's life, at the same time, is sharing her own suffering, questions, and her experience in finding answers through her faith. The book is a dialog rooted in the nature of faith and that age old question, why do these terrible things happen? Through the compilation of this experience, Kathie has modelled in tangible terms, through the publication of these thoughts and memoirs, a method by which others on this journey can rediscover those lost as well as themselves in a way that reaffirms the assurance that God still cares. Angel Promises would make an excellent background reading for courses dealing with the teleology of human suffering or the challenge of personal loss.

5 out of 5 stars The Perfect Memoir for God's Child.......2007-08-02

Firefighters throughout the world joined together to grieve over the loss of four young wildland firefighters. It was on a hot dry July 10th day in 2001 when 18 year old Karen FitzPatrick of Yakima was trapped with three young comrades and died. The whole nation was in shock.
Safety issues sprang forth from the tragic fire that will be heatedly discussed for infinity.
"Angel Promises" is a well written memoir about a lovely young woman who was denied adulthood by circumstances. For lovers of poetry, this book is a must read. Verse is incuded by both Karen and her mother Katherin (the author). The reader will obtain an understanding of the physical events that were never reported by the media relative to this fire in Northern Washington state, but far more important is the way the emotions leading up to and afterwards, are portrayed by beautiful verse. I highly recommend "Angel Promises." Of all the "tags" or key words available, I think "Inspirational" would far outshine any other possible tag. (9-2-07) The circumstances behind this tragedy are going to be more and more in the National news. Get a head start on a major issue; read "Angel Promises"
