Book Description

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.

Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.

5 out of 5 stars Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09

There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.

For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.

5 out of 5 stars Very Interesting.......2007-03-07

It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.

4 out of 5 stars History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10

Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.

I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.

Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.

Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.

I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.

This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Presenting two stories by Angel Lynn: Passions of the Flame, a paranormal gaelic romance and Master My Viking, a satirical romance come together in The Warrior's Touch

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Stories - Very Humorous.......2006-06-12

Angel Lynn's The Warrior's Touch is a two story anthology featuring Master My Viking, and Passions of the Flame. Both stories had great characters that made me laugh. They were truly laugh out loud funny.

Master My Viking is the story of Sigurd who swears he will never forgive Hilde for stealing his clothes and making a mockery of him. He doesn't understand why she's always pestering him, it seems her goal in life. The frustration only increases after they get married, for she'll have nothing to do with him and he's fallen in love with her.

Passions of the Flame is a paranormal historical. Moros bargains with the faerie queen to lure the queen's half-fae daughter, Fallon, to the otherworld on the eve of Beltane. But not if Kane can help it. Though human, he professes to protect Fallon from Moros. Fallon's conversations with her best friend are hilarious... she's trying so hard to protect Kane from losing his mind over her ... which he'll gladly risk if it means losing his heart in the bargain.

5 out of 5 stars Two Great Stories in One.......2006-04-27

I first read Master My Viking as an e-book and the Viking antics, especially between the hero and heroine had me laughing throughout most of the story. Hilde and Sigurd have despised each other since they were children. Unknown to them their fathers have arranged their marriages and much to their dismay, its to each other. The fun begins from here as each decide they will never consummate the marriage, denying both their lust and growing love for each. Their constants pranks on each other are a source of great headaches not only for Hilde and Sigurd, but for their clans as well because the marriage between the two stubborn Vikings is the only way these two clans can solidify a treaty and live in peace. This isn't a typical historical romance. The entire story is a satire that uses humorous language. If you enjoy that sort of thing, you're going to love this. As a novella its a quick, but fun read.

Passions of the Flame a paranormal historical romance is written with a completely different style, revealing the authors diversified talent. Old world language is used and the historical facts about Beltane are very interesting and not overbearing. It's the story of a Gaelic warrior, Kane who has vowed to protect the half fairy, half human Fallon from an evil fairy, Bryan who is trying to claim her because of a bargain he made with the fairy queen, who happens to Fallon's mother. Fallon needs no protection and wants the attention of no man, but she can't ignore the feelings for Kane stirring inside of her. This story is full of passion as the title explains. The love scenes between Kane and Fallon are spicy but tender and I found myself in near tears when the fairy Bryan captures Fallon and rips her away from Kane. How can Kane pass into the "otherworld" to save her when he has no magical powers? And how will he convince the evil fairy to release his claim on Fallon. The ending holds a few surprises in this intriguing tale.

2 out of 5 stars A Disapointment.......2007-10-08

The blurb on this book sounded fantastic; templer knights, good and evil, but it failed to deliver. I read the entire book but found it hard to continue at times. Honestly, unless there is great improvement in writing, Margaret Weis needs to stick with fantasy novels. She is a great author but does not know how to write a romance novel.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible...........2007-09-18

Warrior Angel is in the top 10 of the worst books I've ever read. It was a lot like watching a Uwe Boll movie. I'll never get my time, money or sanity back. The characters were pathetic - Rachel most of all. I'm absolutely amazed that this book was published. The writing was childish and retarded, frankly. If all it takes is kooky grin and a PC to get published then I'm going to take it upon myself to pen Hannibal Lector's next adventure entitled "The Flavor of Love and Liver". Surely a hit if this is the caliber of what I'd be up against. Now excuse me while I scour out my brain with bleach.....

5 out of 5 stars 5 stars.......2007-08-31

Seven hundred years ago, Derek DeMolay, Knight Templar, was killed by the Inquisition and has spent the years since battling demons as a Warrior Angel, never once asking to be admitted to Heaven. Now, a traitor has been discovered among the angels and part of the key to unmasking and stopping this threat lies in the life of Rachel Duncan, a twenty-first century young woman who works in the stock market pits. Derek is assigned to keep an eye on her and try to circumvent the plot that Hell is weaving around her. Though being her doorman might not seem to be the most ideal spot from which to perform his duties, Derek takes on the role with the dedication that he has ever given his duties. It does not take long for him to find the demon after the woman who is winning his own angelic heart. Under an urbane mask, Zanus is weaving a spell of temptation that could topple the world, all via Rachel's unwitting hands. Derek will break every rule under Heaven if he must to save her and incidentally, the world.

***** I'll grant you that the theology in this book is not the best. However, that does not stop it from being an entertaining, fun, action-packed read with splendid characters who leap off the page. Like Andrew Greeley's Angel Fire, this upsets the idea that angels are fluffy, harp playing wimps and shows them as take charge beings. I hope this begins a series; Derek and Rachel are a spectacular couple as are their two supporting cast members, Angel William and Cherub Sampson. *****

2 out of 5 stars Not up to snuff.......2007-06-13

The cover and blurb on this book sound great, but the story is fractured and never quite comes to drawing you into the story. I was disappointed but this is a new author and a new outlet for Margaret Weis. Maybe they will get better with time. However, I will certainly wait for the reviews before I buy again.

Derek is a Templar Knight, when they were destroyed by the pope on Friday the 13,1307, he withstood his torture and finally murder. When he gets to heaven he blames God for letting him be overcome by the forces of evil. He refuses to go into heaven and continues to fight in the war against satan.

Rachel Duncan is a Wall St executive and the center of a plan by the dark to cast the world into a time of crisis. She is wined and dined by Zanus. Derek is sent to stop her and help her over come the evil tempting her.

The writing about the stock market was very real and so the threat seemed like something we face every day. I just didn't get the whole scheme as anything other than business as usual. The interaction between the angel and Derek was supposed to be humerous but how do you be funny and fight armagheddon at the same time. It doesn't work. The book doesn't work, the romance is totally absurd and so is the ending.

Do not waste your time or money.

4 out of 5 stars Warrior Angel.......2007-05-25

A broker on the trading floor, also affectionately known as `the pit', Rachel Duncan has a stressful job that has basically taken over her life. Things are worse than she thinks though, her Guardian Angel has gone missing and those in Heaven believe the angel was slain. Rachel feels as if something is missing in her life, but can't figure out what it is.

Derek de Molay died in the torture chamber of the Inquisition for one reason; he was a knight of the Templar Order. When Derek was given a chance to ask forgiveness for his sins so that he could enter Heaven, he refused because he believed that God had abandoned him in his hour of need. Instead, he accepted the position of being a Warrior Angel in Purgatory, warring against those in Hell fighting to get through to humanity. He will be in Purgatory for eternity until he learns to let go of his rage and pride.

Derek has been given a job on Earth; observe Rachel Duncan and report to Archangel William what he sees. Derek finds much more than he bargained for; an archfiend has his hooks into Rachel and Derek knows that he has to protect her, not just observe.

I loved the beginning of Warrior Angel, it gave me a wonderful glimpse into both Derek and the workings of Heaven as Margaret and Lizz Weis see it. However, Warrior Angel slows down a lot soon after Derek gets to Earth. Derek, Rachel and the Heavenly characters are fantastic and I loved them all...especially William and Sampson. Warrior Angel picks up nicely further on and becomes an action packed thrill ride that I totally enjoyed.

2 out of 5 stars Slow to get going.......2006-08-14

I thought this book was very slow moving. I almost put it down but didn't. I had read "Spirit of the Wolf" by Karen so I thought I would give this a try. It was not as good. I like the feel of the true Indian heritage but found the exerpts from historical documents at the start of each chapter distracting and dull. The first half is very slow and it only barely picks up about half way through, For my money I would pass on this book. Borrow it from the library if you really want to read it.

5 out of 5 stars terrific Indian romantic fantasy .......2005-09-07

In 1817 on the NW Plains, elderly medicine man White Claw explains to the four preadolescents the curse of their tribe. Many moons ago, after killing 200 buffalo they killed a bird. That senseless murder angered Thunderer who took away the souls of four women. The irate tribe retaliated by killing four of Thunderer's children. In a rage he starts to eradicate the tribe of 2000, but the Creator intercedes by placing the tribe under a curse. Two days a year they will live on the mortal plane; the rest of the year in an ephemeral existence. The only hope to escape the curse resides in the Chosen One who must perform a heroic sacrificial deed by the time he is thirty.

In 1835, Burnt Chest knows he is running out of time to save his tribe but instead rescues Angelia Honeywell and her brother who lead a wagon train through the wilderness though they know nothing about the job, endangering their passengers to escape the law. As he helps them and he falls in love with Angelia, Burnt Chest knows he must not lose sight of his quest, but she is so pretty and warm as she reciprocates his deepest feelings.

THE ANGEL AND THE WARRIOR is a terrific Indian romantic fantasy that readers will enjoy from the moment when White Claw explains the dilemma to the four preadolescents. Burnt Chest is fabulous as he knows time is running out on his mission, but prefers spending what's left of his clock with Angelia. Though the emphasis is more on the romance, this fast-paced story line is driven by the desperation of Burnt Chest, who understands what is at stake.

2 out of 5 stars Warrior Angel.......2005-03-14

Warrior Angel, by Robert Lipsyte, is a fictional story about a Moscondaga Indian, named Sonny Bear, who dreams of being a professional boxer. Along his rise to the top, he has a mental breakdown, and one of his biggest fans, Warrior Angel, comes to save him and put him back on the right trail to stardom. This book was somewhat confusing. I couldn't tell who the narrator was sometimes. Besides that, it's not too long, but it's not too short. I have also read other stories in the series by the same author. In my opinion, the other novels were better. The Contender, The Brave, and The Chief are all more exciting. I think Warrior Angel is not as exciting because it does not have as good of a plot as the others did. It just talks about Sonny Bear's struggle to be the best. The other novels have more problems going on throughout them. Still, if you like action and sports (mainly boxing) you should enjoy this book, but you have to read The Contender first, because Warrior Angel is its sequel. So what do you think, does Sonny Bear make it to the top with the help of Warrior Angel?

4 out of 5 stars Thrilling ,And Inspires A Deeper Prayer Life!.......2005-06-25

I just finshed this book and it's sequel"Guardians". I loved them. They remind me very much of Frank Peretti's two "Darkness" books. I have only one reason why I didn't give it the top rating of 5 stars. It bothers me some how the good angels influence the characters, where I think this is the Holy Spirit and not angels, but the Holy Spirit is never even mentioned at all in her books. Otherwise, I still found the situations of her characters thrilling, and very absorbing. It was extremely hard to put these books down,in fact I read the first one in one sitting! They really make you think about your prayer life and how important it is as well.

5 out of 5 stars This book is truely inspired by God, a must read!.......1999-06-01

Prayer Warriors is the most spine tingling book I've read in years. It made me stop and think about who was "poking" at me when I lose my temper, or who I was allowing to influence me in my dealings with others. All sincere Christians should read this book, and then "Guardians", the sequel. You will be truely blessed.

5 out of 5 stars This book is awe inspiring........1998-08-04

This book is an absolute edge-of-your-seat, page turner. I loved it. It seemed to show an amazing likeness of God and His Angels. I recommend it to anyone! :o)

5 out of 5 stars Prayer Warriors gives you a spiritual jolt!.......1998-03-23

It was a amazing how fast my spirituality was renewed by reading Prayer Warriors. The characters were so real to me. It opened my eyes to the happenings of my daily life and made me more conscious of the needs of people around me. Just by reading Prayer Warriors I am now able to really create a bigger place in my heart for others. I have always understood the love that God have for us all, but reading the book have given me a glimpse of the deeper connection we can have, if only we open ourselves to God.
