Elizabeth, a beautiful princess, lives in a castle and wears fancy clothes. Just when she is about to marry Prince Ronald, a dragon smashes her castle, burns her clothes with his fiery breath, and prince-naps her dear Ronald. Undaunted and presumably unclad, she dons a large paper bag and sets off to find the dragon and her cherished prince. Once she's tracked down the rascally reptile, she flatters him into performing all sorts of dragonly stunts that eventually exhaust him, allowing her to rescue Prince Ronald. But what does Prince Not-So-Charming say when he sees her? "You smell like ashes, your hair is all tangled and you are wearing a dirty old paper bag. Come back when you are dressed like a real princess." (At least he has the courtesy not to mention that the princess's crown resembles a dying sea anemone.) In any case, let's just say that Princess Elizabeth and Prince Ronald do not, under any circumstances, live happily ever after. Canadian author Robert Munsch celebrates feisty females everywhere with this popular favorite, and Michael Martchenko's scratchy, comical, pen-and-ink drawings capture the tongue-in-cheek quality of this read-aloud crowd pleaser. (Ages 4 to 8) --Karin Snelson

Book Description

The Princess Elizabeth is slated to marry Prince Ronald when a dragon attacks the castle and kidnaps Ronald. In resourceful and humorous fashion, Elizabeth finds the dragon, outsmarts him, and rescues Ronald --- who is less than pleased at her un-princess-like appearance. Full color throughout.

1 out of 5 stars read it before you buy it.......2007-09-12

All the hype made it sound like a book filled the sort of things you would want your girls to take to heart- except that the story line is weak and the writing lacking...not worthy of our time....

5 out of 5 stars Great For All Girls.......2007-05-26

Get this book for all little girls (and not so little girls). Our little princesses should not dream about marrying princes. This book is about a princess who saves the prince, only to realize that he's not good enough for her.

5 out of 5 stars The most AWESOME GIRL POWER fairy tale ever!!!.......2007-05-19

I was introduced to this story by my daughter's kindergarten teacher many years ago, and it made me laugh!
Since then, I've read and recommended this story to countless Girl Scout leaders and parents...it's the ultimate "Have confidence in yourself" fairy tale, and every 5 year old girl should memorize it!!! No more damsels in distress waiting to be rescued!
Buy this book and pass it on to future generation!

For all of you parents, guardians, and supportive "others" in a little girl's life, PLEASE beg, borrow, or buy this book for her! Every princess needs to know that they can be strong, and it's OK to say No.

5 out of 5 stars A wonderful way to remember pi.......2007-01-25

I feel the age range given on the website should not be ages 4-8. This is appropriate for 8 and up. That said, my 5 year old enjoys it as just a fairy tale and I would not attempt any "teaching" to him. He listens as I read it to my older daughters and maybe it will seep in so when he's old enough to begin measuring, he will easily grasp the concepts.

This is a wonderful book - good illustrations and a clever story. The author works the math part in without it being cumbersome. A few times through this book and your child will have a good grasp of pi. At the least, it will be a good memory trigger if he/she needs help in class.

5 out of 5 stars Great Book .......2007-01-09

This is a great book to teach kids about the number pi. This is a book that makes math fun and gets kids interested in learning math.

5 out of 5 stars This book is a BLAST!.......2005-07-23

My kids love this book! They range in age from an 11 yr old girl to a 3 yr old boy and they all enjoy it! My son loves the story and the knights and adventure. And, he is learning something in the process. My older kids enjoy the story also but on a different level and it also reinforces what they have already learned! What a great concept! I can't wait for more to come out! We already own all 4!

5 out of 5 stars Great for Middle School kids.......2005-04-11

I have use this book in my middle school classroom. The kids enjoy it. Yes, it is silly but heck so are middle school kids! Since reading the book and discussing it, the kids have a much better understanding of what pi really is, instead of just saying about 3.14.

4 out of 5 stars Discovering PI in a mid evil kind of way........2004-11-16

Radius has to discover PI in order to save his father, Sir cumference from the evil curse of the fire breathing Dragon. I read this book to a fourth grade class and they really got a kick out of it. They wanted to learn pie along with Radius through his adventures to conquer the curse. This is a creative way to introduce a math lesson to children. There is even places to stop and let the kids try a couple problems. The activities include measuring and dividing. Teachers this is a must have.

Book Description

Most of the vast audience attracted to the subject of Dracula know him only in his fictional, one-dimensional form: vampire! Yet the truth behind the historical character--voevode, warlord--of 15th C. Romania is at least as equally fascinating as any contrived account of his supernatural persona.

Vlad Dracula faithfully follows his life story as hostage, fugitive, prince, and prisoner. His principality of Wallachia was caught between two voracious predators: the kingdom of Hungary and the Ottoman empire. They tried to break Dracula with overwhelming force and terror. But Dracula turned their own tactics against them, and against criminals and factions in his own land, earning the name Tepes-The Impaler-in the process.

He was a strange mix of husband, father, soldier, statesman, and berserker. He annihilated 50,000 people--one-tenth of his own population. Cursed by his native Orthodox Christian Church, he indeed evolved into a legend. But even today he is Romania's Robin Hood.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent.......2007-01-10

Vlad Dracula is a very misunderstood character. At a time when Islam was threatening all of Europe, Vlad, was one of a few who dared to stand up to the evil threat. Was he a tyrant or National hero? That will be decided by each individual who studies the facts. This historical novel is a good way for those who want to learn more about the real Dracula to begin.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect book.......2006-11-20

Dracula is one of my favorites and this book is outstanding. Very readable and helps fill in the history. The book arrived in perfect shape.

5 out of 5 stars the dragon prince a novel.......2006-03-31

This book is very entertaining and informative, especially about the politics surrounding Wallachia during the middles 1400's. Easy to read and hard to put down.

4 out of 5 stars Historical fiction done very well.......2005-10-08

The author did a very good job of taking the bare historic facts that are available regarding the life of Vlad "Dracula" of Wallachia, from sources both favorable and unfavorable, and turned them into an appealing novel which gives the reader a real sense of what the man must have been like. The reader gets a picture of who "Dracula" was and why he committed acts which have made him a legend to the people of modern Romania, and an infamous monster in the eyes of much of the globe. Having read accounts of the historic Vlad Tepes previously, I was surprised to find myself somewhat in awe of the man. In this novel we see "Dracula" in the context of his times and not just as some "monster" who committed atrocities against his enemies, as well as his own people. I found the book difficult to put down and read it cover to cover over the course of a few evenings. It truly gives one a much more balanced perspective on this infamous historical figure and the violent and dangerous times he lived through. I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars A readable historical novel about Dracula.......2004-09-26

Having no endurance for novels with endless historical facts, this story engaged my imagination without overdoing the research, which was just enough and not too much and didn't interfere with the story movement. Michael Augustyn writes smoothly and well, and I enjoyed meeting all of his characters, including Prasha, but what stays with me the most, long after having finished reading the book, is the ending and the deft manner in which Augustyn blended the historical Dracula with the fantastical Dracula. I also enjoyed the colorful settings, including the battle scenes, and the tense relationship between Vlad and his brother Radu, the latter living in the Ottoman empire, effectively sleeping with the enemy. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a different, more realistic view of the 15th Century world of Vlad Dracula, the harshness of that world and his determination to bring order and justice to it, which caused him to become known as the "Impaler."

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Well written Adventure story.......2007-08-26

A well written YA book. It was not dumbed down like some YA books are, the writing was smooth and kept the reader interested in the lead character.
The book tells a story of a princess, the 21st decendent of Queen Evaine, King Arthur's younger sister. The family was banished to the island when the Queen married a men that her father did not approve. The legend was that the 21st Queen will bring peace and honour back to the name of Pendragon.

Our heroine is the princess and only she and her mother know of her terrible secret. The poor girl has a Dragon's claw for her ring finger. Her mother keeps it hidden at all times under golden gloves, and goes to great lengths that the secret is never discovered. When the princess meets the female dragon, and later the dragon is killed, she is kidnapped by the dragon's mate to care for the pips (baby Dragons)
The dragon's see beauty where her mother only saw shame, and it is at the end of the story that the dragons give her the gift of Peace between Human and Dragon.
The adventures are exciting and the book should be recomended to any young Dragon Lover.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely a great book..........2007-07-18

We gave this book to our 13 year old daughter for her birthday this year. Her words when I asked how it was were, "The most awesome book ever!" This is coming from an avid reader... she breezed through this 302 page book in just three days. Right now she is reading the Bartimaeus Trilogy, but says she would like to read more by this author in the near future.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic read for young adult.......2007-07-18

In this young adult fantasy, Rosalind's fate was written in the stars, read by Merlin, some 600 years before she was born. Rosalind's ancestor, Evaine, was the younger sister of King Arthur. Evaine married an outlaw, was banished to Wilde Island, and erased from family history.

Three things are said of the twenty-first queen of Wilde Island; "She shall redeem the name Pendragon. End war with the wave of her hand. And restore the glory of Wilde Island."

The way her mother sees it, with England in the midst of civil war Rosalind will marry Prince Henry, future king of England, thereby fulfilling all aspects of the prophecy. But what if Rosalind and Henry don't get along? Not that they've even heard from the Queen of England, though they assume she is aware of the prophecy. Then there's Rosalind's ring finger. It's a dragon's claw. So far she and her mother have hidden it behind golden gloves, but that won't work forever. They MUST find a cure soon--a cure that is hard to find when potential healers aren't told what the exact problem is.

When an envoy from England comes to Wilde Island, things start looking up a little, especially after they slay the dragon that has been harassing the Island forever. What should be one of the most triumphant moments in their history turns horrifying when the dragon's mate returns to punish the people, and takes a special interest in Rosalind. Before long, Rosalind's life will never be the same, and it doesn't look like the prophecy could ever be fulfilled.

There is so much more to this book! So many more levels and layers to the story! Rosalind may be a Princess with a dragon's claw in a faraway time and place, but her relationship with her mother is something you could see in anyone's life. Her desire to be normal and accepted are the same things every teenager experiences. So while the circumstances aren't something we experience everyday, the people in them, and their reactions to them, are completely realistic and relatable.

Armchair Interviews says: Part fairy tale, part mythology, part legend, all around fantastic!

5 out of 5 stars Dragon's Keep a keeper.......2007-06-29

"What a great story. The ending is unexpected." I am quoting the words of one of my 5th grade students. He requested this book as his prize for reading 200 books this year. He could not stop talking about the story. Based on his response I would recommend this book for young adults.

3 out of 5 stars NOT BAD.......2007-06-09

THIS IS A GOOD BOOK AND I READ IT IN TWO DAYS, BUT IT'S MORE OR LESS LIKE ROSALIND'S DIARY AND I FIND THOSE KINDS OF BOOKS DULL. THERE NOT MUCH ROMANCE IN THIS (IF YOU HAVE READ DRAGON LOVERS YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, IF YOU HAVE NOT READ DRAGON LOVERS YET READ THIS BOOK FIRST THEN DRAGON LOVERS). THERE'S NOT MUCH EXCITEMENT UNTILL THE LAST THREE CHAPTERS AND THERE'S NO VILLAN UNTILL THE LAST FOUR. AND F.Y.I. THE DRAGON CUTS HIS EGGS FROM HIS MATES STOMACH THEN TAKES THEM HOME.

When his wife, the one person who should obey him, refuses to, he realizes the fight for his heart's desire will be the toughest. Zoran and Pia's story is full of humor and hot love scenes. It will leave you craving for more. If you liked the Dragon Lords, read the Var Princes series. It is the story of the "enemies" of the Dragon Lords and is just as hot.

5 out of 5 stars Best of the Dragon Princes.......2006-07-09

The four princes of Qurilixian will meet and choose their life mate. Book four is about Prince Zoran "The Commander". His planet is male dominated and they must seek elsewhere for mates...Pia is running away from a possible execution. She is an assassin and ended up killing the Mayor's son. You will fall in love with this prince also. After reading these stories (The Barbarian Prince, The Perfect Prince, The Dark Prince and The Warrior Prince) read the Var series they are great. The great thing about Ms. Pillow is that you get to know and to love many characters and then you start wondering if she is going to make a new story about them. For example, after reading The Warrior Prince and The Savage King (Var King) I wondered if the author is going to making a book about the Var king's heir marrying Zoran's daughter. This last should be very interesting to read "a dragon and a feline."

Very enjoyable book. I have also enjoyed the other books in this series about the Draig who are dragon shapeshifter who rule half the planet and also the series of books about the Var who are cat shapeshifters that rule the other half of the planet. I really like the series on the Var a little bit more and I can't wait for the two new books in that series to come out soon.

4 out of 5 stars The Perfect Prince is a Perfectly Steamy Novel!.......2006-04-20

If you're looking for a novel that combines erotica with romance and a decent plot, definitely check out "The Perfect Prince" and the rest of the Dragon Lord Series.

I agree with the other reviewer that the story starts off slowly in the first few chapters, but once it gets started, have a cold drink ready, because the love scenes are HOT! I really liked Olek, the hero. He's definitely an ALPHA male all the way, yet the author manages to show him as sweet, sensitive and loving to his would-be-bride. Many authors can't pull off writing alpha-male characters that don't come off like ogres.

Olek is without a doubt the "Perfect" Prince. I actually liked him better than the leading lady, Nadja. She's an inexperienced virgin who's trying to escape her past and is furious when she finds out Olek is royalty.
Also, kudos to whoever did the cover art, I almost didn't buy the book but the "Prince" looked irrestible!!

Cimorene, princess of Linderwall, is a classic tomboy heroine with classic tomboy strengths--all of which are perceived by those around her as defects: "As for the girl's disposition--well, when people were being polite, they said she was strong-minded. When they were angry or annoyed with her, they said she was as stubborn as a pig." Cimorene, tired of etiquette and embroidery, runs away from home and finds herself in a nest of dragons. Now, in Cimorene's world--a world cleverly built by author Patricia C. Wrede on the shifting sands of myriad fairy tales--princesses are forever being captured by dragons. The difference here is that Cimorene goes willingly. She would rather keep house for the dragon Kazul than be bored in her parents' castle. With her quick wit and her stubborn courage, Cimorene saves the mostly kind dragons from a wicked plot hatched by the local wizards, and worms her way into the hearts of young girls everywhere.

While the characters are sometimes simplistically drawn, adults and children will have fun tracing the sources of the various fairy tales Wrede plunders for her story. Dealing with Dragons is the first book in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and most young readers will want to devour the entire series. (Ages 10 and older) --Claire Dederer

Book Description

Cimorene is everything a princess is not supposed to be: headstrong, tomboyish, smart. . . .
And bored. So bored that she runs away to live with a dragon . . . and finds the family and excitement she's been looking for.

5 out of 5 stars One bored Princess is about to have a ball!.......2007-04-11

Princess Cimorene is the daughter to the king of Linderwall...where the knights keep their armor polished for show considering nobody's seen a dragon there in years...

Cimorene HATES it at Linderwall. And she wants to do things, not learn exactly how and when she's supposed to scream if someone decides to come and kidnap her. Cimorene takes classes behind her fathers back for extreme fun. She tries fencing...until her father makes her stop. She tries cooking...until her father stops her. She tries magic...until her father stops her. You get the pattern. If things aren't already bad enough her parents are making her marry Prince Therandil. YUCK!

"I'd rather get eaten by a dragon," Cimorene muttered.
"That can be arranged."

With the advice of a "not" enchanted frog she ends up at a dragons cave and before you know it she's the dragon Kazul's princess. And also before ya know it she's on an adventure.

What happens on that adventure? Well...

She meets a powerful witch, a stone prince, snotty princesses, a kind princess, annoying wizards, mean dragons, and a talking frog.

She finds plants that hurt dragons, a dragons magical stone, and a fire proof spell...she's found A LOT of adventure!

4 out of 5 stars Morgan from Creston.......2007-03-07

The book Dealing with Dragons is one of the most fantastic books I have ever read. It held my interest and made me feel good. Between adventure and happiness, Patricia C. Wrede catches your attention and makes you want to read it over and over again.
In the book, the characters were really willing to go and figure out why wizards have been snooping around the Mountains of Morning. That's one of the reasons I liked this book so much. My favorite characters are Cimorene and Kazul. As Cimorene runs away from the castle she meets a kind dragon named Kazul, who lets Cimorene live with her. Later in the book wizards secretly working with a dragon named Worag, who wants to be the king of dragons and is trying to get rid of Cimorene and her friends. In this it was a wild adventure for princess Cimorene.
The book Dealing with Dragons was not a boring book. The author Patricia C. Wrede was able to hold the interest of the reader throughout the story. The description of scenes was really descriptive and you could picture them in your head. There were sad and funny parts throughout the book. One of my favorite parts was when Cimorene and Kazul visited Morwen the witch. Cimorene rode on Kazuls back while she was flying over the tall trees. I was imagining that I was on Kazul too.
After reading this book, I learned many different things. I also couldn't believe how good this book was. The major situation was trying to figure out what the wizards were up to. This book will leave you wanting to read it over and over again.

5 out of 5 stars Dealing with Reveiws.......2007-03-01

Dealing with Dragons, by Patricia C. Wrede, is really a joking, enjoyable tale of a fantasy world with a girl trying to escape normal life for a princess. Cimorene is princess of Linderwall, and when she's fed up with normal princess-ing and heads off, she gets involved with tons of dragons, witches, wizards, a jinn, talking birds and more. Cimorene loves fencing, magic, cooking, economics, Latin, and she can't do any of them because "It's NOT done". I'd say if this was real, it'd be in the early 1500`s. This really can absorb you and it seems you just have to finish it before anything else and I really enjoyed it. I hope you do too.

5 out of 5 stars An Amazing Book!!!.......2007-02-28

Wizards, dragons, magic, and a run away princess. If you like those things then you will love "Dealing With Dragons" by Patricia C. Wrede. When Cimerone runs away to a little house in the forest, that a toad told her to go to, she meets some scary dragons. But almost before the dragons ate her, another dragon came and saved her. And now she works for the dragon, Kazul. When one of the dragons killed the king, all the dragons have to have a challenge to see who well be the next king. Will Kazul become the new king or will she die trying?
I think the theme for this book is that just because some people don't like something doesn't mean you shouldn't like it. Because some people thought Cimerone was crazy that she was living with a dragon and she didn't care about what they said. I think Patricia wrote this book to tell about people that have everything they could ever have and all they want is freedom to do what they want.
"That doesn't make it proper, dear," Cimerone's mom said. Cimerone never wanted to be a princess. She liked to do fencing, magic, and cooking. But she never liked being a princess. I would recommend this book to people that love to read about fantasy's and adventures. Also if they like dragons, witches, and magic they would like this book! I hope you will read it and like it just as much as I did!

5 out of 5 stars A fun and enchanted book!.......2007-01-30

This book is great! It is for everyone! It is about a princess named Cimorene. She does not like being a princess. She does secret magic lessons until her parents find out. Then they try to get her to marry but she does not want to. She runs of and finds some dragons. She goes with one named Kuzul. She makes friends and finds an exciting new life. But something evil is about...I'm not going to tell the end but its great! You should read Dealing with Dragons, Book one of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles.

Book Description

The four Qurilixian Princes have no problem with commitment. In one night, using the power they were born with, they will meet and choose their life mate in a simplistic ceremony involving the removing of masks and the crushing of crystals. With very few words spoken and the shortest, most bizarre courtship in history, they will bond to their women forever. And once bonded, these men don't let go.... Out of the fire. Intergalactic thief, Olena Leyton is one of the best space pirates in history. Sailing the high skies in search of adventure is in her blood. When her crew is scattered in a run from the law and her ship crashes, exploding into a ball of flames, the injured Olena is forced to find sanctuary on a Galaxy Brides ship. Posing as a blushing 'mail-order' bride to elude the bounty hunters that pursue her, Olena finds herself heading to the primitive planet of Qurilixen. But, being a bride isn't something that Olena takes seriously. Into the flames. Prince Yusef of Draig, Captain of the Outpost, leads a simple life away from the palace. He knows from the first moment he sees his fiery temptress that he will possess her and make her his bride for all time. However, Yusef learns that playing with fire will always leave a man burned. But, with passions as powerful as this dark Prince's are, he is not willing to give up his bride without a fight. Rating: Contains graphic sexual content, adult language, and violence.

5 out of 5 stars great series.......2007-08-17

This book was one of the best in the series. I almost didn't buy this book because one reviewer said the heroine was disgusting and another said this book was just porn. I'm glad I bought this book, Olena the pirate was great, she was very spirited but not cruel and had a very tragic past that explained her pirate occupation. This book was not porn, it has a great story line, with some tastful sex scenes.

1 out of 5 stars NOT VERY ROMANTIC.......2006-07-05

Hi everyone I am 15 yrs old and I have to agree with another reviewer when they said this is not romance.
The lead female was disgusting to me. The lead male was handsome, patient, and kind. What he saw in the lead female is beyond me.
He was described as being a dark bronzed prince. She was described as being a pale pirate, what a way to describe the lead female. She took off her hair pin and stuck him in the neck. She drugged him, she teased him (sexually) she went swimming after he told her snakes was in the water, she stabbed herself in the arm, to stay bonded with her
theiving crew, and even tore up her wedding dress. She appeared before his parents, the king and queen bleeding. A reviewer wrote this is a strong female??? There's more but I'm afraid if I go on Amazon won't print my review. If you must read this book I suggest you buy it used. I know everyone has their own taste but I just can't see many people reading this over and over.

1 out of 5 stars Not romance - just porn.......2005-10-22

I bought this as an e-book because I thought it was a romance novel. The write up sounded interesting - a sci-fi fantasyish kind of romancer. I didn't really look at the cover artwork. If I'd seen the "Prince" holding his personal appendage in plain sight I probably would have figured out that this is really just a porno novel. I guess the author's name - Michelle PILLOW - should have been a clue. I won't be buying anything else from this author. I deleted the file from my computer and if you read the blurb and thought it was a romance novel - don't waste your money. If it was possible I would have given it a 0.

5 out of 5 stars Another Delicious Prince.......2005-04-27

Michelle Pillow has done it again. This is book three of the series and doesn't disappoint. Sexy, fun, and Olena the heroine is to die for--funny, stubborn, strong--everything a woman should be! I love how laid back and easy going Yusef was. If you like your books sexy with just the right amount of subplot to balance but not overwhelm the main relationship (which is the whole reason for reading this wonderful series! the guys are just too darned sexy to believe!) You'll love this book! I can't wait for four!

4 out of 5 stars 244 pages of bitchiness.......2007-02-08

I loved the first 2 books. And this one has some good stuff in it. But every single character is bitchy throughout the whole book!

It is funny to have, say, a bitchy cat, wizard, witch, magician, princess, rabbit, dragon or whatever. But they can't all be bitchy all the way through the book!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing series.......2006-09-25

All the Enchanted Forest Chronicles are so much fun! Definitely at my top of Harry Potter fan recommendations. They're just such an amusing read; I even teach with them. Don't forget to read "The Frying Pan of Doom."

5 out of 5 stars Love the characters!.......2006-09-19

Mendenbar and Cimorene, now married for just over a year, are celebrating the news of their first baby on the way when witch Morwen and sorcerer Telemain arrive on their moat-step with some disturbing news and a 6 foot blue rabbit/donkey named Killer. The wizards are, once again, up to no good. Upon investigating the source of Killer's unusual size, Morwen discovered more brown patches where the wizard staffs had leached magic out of the Enchanted Forest. Since Telemain and Mendenbar had repaired that particular problem, the issue was determined urgent. Once again a journey is required - this one is to retrieve the sword that is tied magically to the Enchanted Forest so that the wizards don't drain the forest of its magic - and its life. Morwen, Telemain, Cimorene, Kazul, Killer, and two of Morwen's cats embark down a dangerous road to save the lives of the inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest. Great sense of humor and dialog - although the timeline sometimes takes getting used to.

4 out of 5 stars The sword is gone .......2006-05-22

Well. my story is Calling on Dragons. Its about wizards trying to take over; so they steal the sword. They are trying to get it back. Well Kazul , King Mandabar, Cermany, Tellmin, and Moren are at it again. Now they are after the sword.
My favorite part was when I found out that the wizards go through mouse holes. I think doing that would be cool. The wizards go through mice holes to steal the sword. They did make it, and they did steal the sword. That is my favorite part.

5 out of 5 stars A Perfect Combination.......2005-08-06

I truly am delighted with this book and the others in the series! They are a truly perfect combination of mystery, magic and mayhem!
I've told my friends about them, and they love them too!

DRAGON LORDS: Book One The four Qurilixian Princes have no problem with commitment. Breaking up was never so hard... Going undercover at Galaxy Brides as one of the prospective mates to these Viking-like barbarians, Morrigan has no intention of getting chosen to stay. But when Ualan of the Draig picks her to be his wife with the aid of his mystically glowing crystal, it is all she can do to say no. Waking up from a drug-induced night of torturous and unfulfilling pleasures, Morrigan discovers her spaceship has left without her and Ualan is claiming she is his wife. It's not exactly the story this reporter had in mind. And to make matters worse, Ualan refuses to take no for an answer. Being cursed by the Gods was never so frustrating... Prince Ualan is like all others of his race on the male dominated planet of Qurilixen. He is raised to trust the mystic powers around him and when it comes time to marry, he is ready to follow those powers to choose his life mate. When the stubborn, yet achingly beautiful, Morrigan refuses to accept their shared fate and his supreme authority over her, it is all he can do not to break her lovely neck. The Barbarian Prince: book one...
The four princes of Qurilixian will meet and choose their life mate. Book one is about Prince Ualan. His planet is male dominated and they must seek elsewhere for mates...Morrigan is a snoopy reporter who signs on with Galaxy Brides to get a undercover story regarding the four princes and their weddings. What she did not bargain for was being mated to Prince Ualan after getting drunk at the bonding ceremony. The story heats up after that...There is also mystery,,,someone wants the new brides dead..
You will fall in love with these characters...The author doesn't tell you much regarding the three other marriages because that will follow in her three other books to the series.
The Perfect Prince, The Dark Prince and The Warrior Prince.

Alpha-male :) graphic scenes, detailed, light bondage..
This book was Yummy... You will find yourself laughing with the main heroine Morrigan. She is very witty and fun and proves to be a handful for Ualan. She has alot of one-liners that had me nearly falling off my chair in laughter.
