It's true that politicians blink much more frequently when they're lying, but what other behavior clues do people inadvertently give off? If you want to know if you're being boondoggled, how to tell if your date is interested in a serious relationship, or if you should take that new job, Jo-Ellan Demitrius will help you figure it all out. She gives away the tricks of her trade--jury consulting--in this eye-opening handbook for predicting the behavior and revealing the thoughts of others. She's consulted for more than 600 jury trials, including the O.J. Simpson, Rodney King, and John DuPont cases, as well as for Fortune 100 companies. If her name rings a bell, it may be because she's been on Oprah, Larry King Live, and 60 Minutes, among other television shows.
Much more than a collection of tips on reading body language, her book is supremely organized, detailed, and thorough, with lists of physical characteristics, vocal patterns, office props, and conversational behaviors that reveal much more than you'd think. She instructs on how to analyze hundreds of details of everyday living, from the style of the picture frame on your boss's desk to the odd way that an acquaintance swears up a storm, in order to uncover personality traits and predict future behavior.
Demitrius isn't a hocus-pocus intuition hawker; she's more of a scientist. "...over the past fifteen years," she writes, "I have tested this method on more than ten thousand 'research subjects.' After predicting the behavior of thousands of jurors, witnesses, lawyers, and judges, I have been able to see whether my predictions came true....I did not always peg them correctly, especially in the earlier years. But by testing my perceptions over and over, I have verified which clues are generally reliable and which are not." Her advice will prove valuable not just to lawyers but to businesspeople, parents, and anyone curious about their relationships. While the book is mostly aimed at deconstructing the behavior and characteristics of others, it's also useful for job candidates and anyone concerned with projecting the appropriate image. -- Erica Jorgensen
Book Description
America's top jury consultant, Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, can literally read a person like a book. By decoding the hidden messages in appearance, tone of voice, facial expression, and personal habit, she has accurately predicted the behavior of jurors, witnesses, lawyers, and judges in some of the most celebrated trials of the past two decades. Now in this phenomenal new book, she applies the secrets of her extraordinary success to the everyday situations we all face at work, at home, and in relationships.
How can you "hear between the lines" to detect a lie? When is intuition the best guide to making important decisions? What are the tell-tale signs of romantic attraction? How do other people "read" us? The answers lie closer than we might think. Hair style, clothing, grooming, hand gestures, the neatness of office or living room, the steadiness of the gaze, behavior around subordinates: all of these provide critical clues to a person's integrity, work habits, and sexual interests. Through vivid anecdotes and proven techniques, Dimitrius teaches us how to interpret these signs with accuracy and precision.
Whether your focus is friendship or marriage, career or family, romance or professional success, Reading People gives you the skills you need to make sound, swift decisions and reap the benefits from a lifetime of razor-sharp insight.

Great Book!.......2007-09-04
Another new bestseller which I highly recommend - The Exclusive Layguide: When Dating and Having Sex with Incredibly Hot Women is No Longer Mirage Even If You Don't Look Like a Model or Don't Make a Fortune
An interesting read.......2007-02-06
I'm a "human behavior junkie" so I read all of these types of books, This one is not too bad. It for sure has some interesting insights. I much prefer Lieberman's YOU CAN READ ANYONE. That book is very practical, and as is his style, not filled with any fluff or psycho-nonsense.
this is a dog.......2007-01-28
There is no significant insight to this author's offering other than right and wrong means nothing in the legal process-and of course, you can make money from a legal travesty-buyers should'nt waste their money-I did
Every day reading.......2007-01-26
Can someone please offer a little help. Someone very close to me has a difficult time communicating. I believe it's because she misreads or ignores social cues and is in denial about her feelings. She exibits passive aggressive behavior when she's angry and denies being angry, but I can see the hostility in her actions, even though they appear okay on the surface. It has been frustrating trying to point out specific actions because she doesn't see them as angry actions. I ordered a body language book, but I need a book on the psychology of intention, at least I guess that's what I need. Is anyone aware of such a book?
GOOD BOOK.......2007-01-13
the core message which was reinforced here is to go with your instincts about people.
BUT REMEMBER; there will always be that one who defies all prediction; that Joker in the pack!

First time in 44 years I fell good with dieting.......2007-10-04
It really is true that if you follow the food pyramid for your dominant gland that the foods will eliminate your cravings while dieting. I have done every diet that one could find on this planet, even "lifetime member" at weight watchers but I alwasy was fighting food cravings. A naturopathic physician referred me to this, I was more than skeptical because I am not a "tree hugger" type of person that would consider the source valuable. The first month I was shakey and had a hard time with my cravings, but then on day without any explanation I got energy and did not crave the foods I always ate. The best part is that I am loosing weight in places FIRST that I used to loose LAST (the "problem area") so watching my physic change in this desirable order is so new for a 44 year old like me. I have a college at work who had given up on weight loss, gave this a half hearted try, and has lost near to 100 lbs. Totally amazing.
Feel Good-Lose Weight.......2007-06-10
This is not some fad diet book. The way to eat the foods for your body type throughout the day absolutely WORKS! Everyone in our neighborhood is doing this and everyone would tell you they feel wonderful. There is so much insight in this book about how you eat and what you should change to avoid cravings for the things not good for you. Highly recommend.
Great diet for those who have strong cravings that make then fail to lose weight.......2007-04-27
It is a great book. A bit confusing as to body typing but there is a number you can call for help. Easy to follow meal plan for life not just for the actual weight loss time. A must for those who have failed more times than they wish to admit or are constantly yoyo dieting.
Right on the money.......2007-03-22
This book is right on the money. It gives you great insight into what you would be better off not eating for your body type. I am a Thyroid type. I can appreciate the information regarding my body type in this book. The book not only advises you regarding foods but also on supplements to fortify your exhausted or overworked glands. I gave it 4 stars because I think there should be more body type illustrations. It gives you an illustration for each body type person when overweight and when they are at their optimal weight. But I think that the reader could use a few more illustrations, as everyone is a little different even if you correspond to the same body type group.
Dr. Abravanel's Body Type Diet & Lifetime Nutritional Plan.......2007-03-09
This book is extremely informative and teaches you the proper way to eat. The most fascinating thing about the lifestyle eating plan is that it does not ask you to give up foods, but teaches you the appropriate times and foods to eat, to appease your dominant gland. IT WORKS!!!!! What an eye opener. I liked the book so much and got such incredible results that I have bought 5 other copies for friends who asked what it is that I was doing to get the noticeable results. Thank you Dr. Abravanel! My friends in Germany would like you to translate this book into German. I can recommend someone to translate it for you.

Beautifully Drawn.......2007-06-15
I found this book to be beautifully rendered with with many drawings of examples face types, features and body language gestures that were clear and easy to understand. But the descriptions were very general and didn't cover all of the variations that exist in reality. (I suppose one is supposed to take one of the authors face reading classes for more info. listed in the back of the book.) Still, it was a facinating read, and a fun topic to try among friends.
Phrenology for the '90s.......2007-02-01
If you wish learn to identify people's personalities or how they may be feeling or may be thinking at a given moment then his book is a waste of your time and money. The ideas in this book are nothing but pseudoscientific nonsense. The text is full of glittering generalities and vague statements which nearly anyone would agree were true about them, regardless of face shape. If you wish to truly read people, your time and money would be much better spent on just about anything by Paul Ekman or any of the books by Desmond Morris on human social interaction. Avoid this book.
save your money!.......2006-12-13
I am a trial lawyer with 26 yrs experience. this book is a joke. there is no science to back up his opinions, which are about as "scientific" as reading chicken guts. It's basically a rehash of the "science" of divining character from the shape of peoples skulls.
WOW.......2006-03-19
I had the immense pleasure of having my face read today by Mr. Fulfer, and very accurately, too. If his book can teach people even a tenth of his skill, then it is valuable indeed. I plan to read my copy very carefully.
Good Reference book; Check out Rose Rosetree, too.......2003-12-30
What I like the most about Mr. Fulfer's reference book is that the information is well organized, so it is quick and easy to find the data on, say, a nose which has a bump in the middle and large square nostrils.
I have also read Rose Rosetree's "Wrinkles are God's Makeup," which focuses on personality changes which out-picture on the face over time. It is a fascinating book, though not quite as well organized as "Amazing Face Reading."
Book Description
A how-to on the ancient art of physiognomy, updated and practical. Rosetree's system of Face Reading Secrets ® is designed to open your heart, even as it provides knowledge with uncanny accuracy.
Customer Reviews:
Very informative.......2007-07-03
I ordered three face reading books to try to get as much information as I could. This book by far was the best. She adds a bunch of humor. This book is very well written and easy to read. I recommend this to all who are curious about what the face means. I am very pleased.
Useful and Insightful.......2005-12-10
After reading The Power of Face Reading, I am shocked by the response from "Almost Useless". In her book Rosetree asserts that we all have various challenges as well as styles with which we excell at, and I think Rosetree does an excellent job of expressing our different styles for work, spending money, communication, etc. with great compassion and depth. This is not a "too positive spin on every negative interpretation"; it's more a realistic way of looking at our strenghts and weaknesses.
I also firmly disagree with "Almost Useless"'s assertion that some of the interpretations are "just inaccurate." I have done many readings after reading the book, for friends and people that I've just met, and everyone remarks how surprisingly accurate they are! Rosetree also points out that the traits of our face reveal our propensity for a certain style of being. We are all human and can choose to behave in other ways as we choose. Knowing what are preferences are can help us use them with more strength, and to also gain understanding for the strengths and propensities of others. Brilliant for relationships!
In terms of "putting it all together" for doing face readings, I found this to be no problem. Like I said, I started doing readings for friends and new people I met right away. Rosetree also explicity states to set an intention to be of service, and begin with the features that strike you the most, and then notice what you notice next and go from there. This is what I've adhered to and what has made my readings so successful.
Lastly, I would be cautious with the review titled "Gems for Tabliod and Intellectuals." I might chuckle at these having not read the book. Rosetree's book provides much more depth than these quotes reveal. The book shows us that there are many ways to be in the world, and the beauty is that we can choose. I find it powerfully useful to know my style preferences at my very core.
The best of the best!.......2005-12-03
I know this book. I know this author. Rose Rosetree is a woman of the highest integrity and she is a great force. She's been on this path for many years, researching ancient studies and particularly refining the hidden traits found in faces. Each one of her books is a gift. But the wisdom contained in this one, The Power of Face Reading, showers the reader with clues and tips on discovering the very essence of, say, co-workers, first dates, celebrities, politicians -- any person with whom you might come face to face. For those with a sense of wonder and a hunger to know more, this is an easy read.
Amazing insights.......2005-12-02
I found this book, like all the ones I've read by Rose Rosetree, to be witty, insightful, and very useful. When reading this book, keep in mind that reading faces isn't just a formula, which is a point that Ms. Rosetree makes. The whole face needs to be considered, since it is a reflection of the soul as a whole. I use face reading often, and it's amazing how accurate it is. In addition to the companion book WRINKLES ARE GOD'S MAKEUP, I strongly suggest reading AURA READING THROUGH ALL YOUR SENSES. Combining aura reading with face reading is a very powerful tool and provides a far more complete picture.
Almost useless.......2005-05-02
The author tries so hard not to offend anybody, that she puts too positive spin on every possibly negative interpretation and overemphasizes what would already be considered as a positive one. Also, I found the most interpretations just inaccurate. Examples from nose chapter:
short nose - workaholic
long nose - talent for planning and strategy
straight nose - you work systematically
arched nose - creativity
...
Ok, of course you are supposed to interpret everything and put it all together, eliminating contradictions on the way, but the book falls short on instructions how to do that. There should be a chapter titled "putting it together" where the author should explain the process of face reading: what to look first? how to determine basic information about a person and go from there? Instead the book focuses on details without giving you the big picture.
Customer Reviews:
Amazingly Accurate.......2002-02-04
I had this book, loaned it to someone and didn't get it back -- so am ordering another copy of it. The illustrations are easily "read," the writing clearly understood, and analyzing friends' and relatives' pictures, extremely perceptive and correct! In analyzing my own face, I found it to be so accurate that I was a bit taken aback. I'd certainly recommend it!
Informative, fascinating and hauntingly compelling........1999-06-27
I was enthralled with the unnerving accuracy the book gave me about my friends, associates and even myself. To this day I am amazed how facial characteristics parlay themselves into behavioral traits that betray, captivate and sometimes seduce the unenlightened observer.
Book Description
The book includes 68 traits with a sketch for each trait plus a detailed explaination of the trait characteristics. Included in the book are some of the stories collected from people interviewed specifically for the book. There is a chapter on how to use face reading for relationships, sales, understanding children and career suggestions.

Best Physiognomy book!.......2007-06-27
I have a few books on the subject and this is extremely simple to use, and has lots of examples. I highly recommend it.
Review.......2007-03-19
Incredible! Stunningly accurate. Well written and concise. A great tool to further understand people. Must read!!
Excellent.......2005-09-16
Most excellent material. Although people are generally unpredictable, a person can, in a good many cases, really know how someone else is feeling and know what they are thinking by external signs. This book gives a surprising amount of information.
Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover.......2005-08-03
The reason that I titled this review "Don't judge a Book by it's Cover", is that we tend to make judgements to quickly before we really find out more about the subject in front of us.
Naomi Tickles' book, "You can Read A Face Like A Book", does just that, to help us better understand who we really are.
How many times have you seen someone standing in line looking very impatient? Or seen someone striking up a conversation with anyone who is standing next to them? Or even found yourself wondering why you struggle with certain skills in your life while others come so easily?
Well, after not only taking a Face Reading Course with Naomi Tickle and reading her books, was I finally able to answer those questions!
I myself have a forehead that is straight up and down (vertical) so therefore am a Sequetial Thinker. This is why I always had a hard time learning something if there were any steps overlooked. (it was sort of like a blank puzzle to me ). So by explaining this to my employer when learing a new position, I found myself catching on very quickly instead of struggling and feeling inadaquet.
Also, as for the trait of having the fuller upper lip , I am at fault for that as you can see by this review because I love to talk, and yes pretty much to anyone!!
I am quite critical about a lot of things (Critical Perception), but I could not find anything negative about a person wanting to learn more about how they "Tick" and how to better understand others. I do understand myself better after Naomi's Face Reading Course and reading the wonderful book "You Can Read a Face Like a Book". I feel that using these key traits in daily life helps to lighten our load on our emotional selves, and even find some humor in our areas that we need to improve on !!!
I am always telling my Husband and Friends that if I am talking to much just step in and stop me, so on that note........
If you are going to review a book it helps to read it first!.......2005-07-31
This is a very attractive book, both to look at and to handle, and the amount of information packed into it is amazing.I found it a fascinating read, and far removed from the type of book both Per Bothner and B. Nainoa Prestcott seem to think it is. To review a book before one has read it seems hardly fair! Incidentally, far from being racist, the author points out in her introduction that Face Reading applies to all cultures, and in fact the only reference to 'skin' as such, deals not with it's colour, but with the degree of tighness over the face.
The book is divided into thirteen chapters well-illustrated with attractive line drawings. The first twelve each deal with a single feature e.g. The Eyes, The Nose, The Head, etc. The author explains that the natural variations between people of all these features can be 'read' and correlated with the individual personality 'traits' which we all possess.
Chapter 13 gives a useful summary of the content of the book and guidlines for helping one to apply what one has learned to one's own life. There is also a fully illustrated section on combining features into personality 'trait clusters'to give a more accurate reading, and a full glossary and index. I do feel that it would be helpful here if there were also photographs showing various personality types to supplement the excellent line drawings.
Almost anyone is likely to find something in this book that brings them up short and makes them look again with fresh eyes at the people around them. The author takes her subject seriously, but this does not detract from the fact that apart from acting as a self-help manual, this book would make a very attractive present.

Book Description
What if you could learn powerful insights into a person just by seeing his or her face? For 2,500 years, the science of Mien Shiang (pronounced myen-shung), or Chinese face reading, has given anyone who studies its form this incredible ability.
Whether working with executives from Fortune 500 firms or readying the nation's top attorneys to choose the ideal juries for their clients, Patrician McCarthy has built a reputation for her ability to help others determine a person's personality, potential, and inherent talents by analyzing his or her facial structure and features. Now McCarthy shares her understanding of this ancient knowledge with readers everywhere.
Literally meaning face (mien) reading (shiang), mien shiang is a powerful means of both self-discovery and a way to understand others. Taoist ancients said, the face is a mirror that records your past, reflects your present, and forecasts your future. McCarthy introduces five essential influences in our lives revealed by the face and enables you to interpret and understand these influences. With the practice of Mien Shiang, you will live in a harmony of mind, body, and spirit.

Easy to read, great layout, to the point, consice.......2007-10-01
H. Lee & Lia Andrews wrote great reviews.
This is great for anyone who doesn't want a drawn-out book to read, but still isn't dry at all. This can easily be used for a quick look reference as well. Patrician McCarthy has a great personality. She is also very unjudgemental. She only shows all the benefits of any challenge in life... such as Woods have to open up to their anger, but in a constructive way in order to feel the passion on the other side of their personality. That's why Woods make great law enforcers... they live to protect & right wrongs. She has a very positive nature, never says a bad word about any type or any "challenge"
This is based on Chinese medicine, the 5 elements: fire, earth, metal, water & wood. It tells you the basic personality type of those 5, how they relate to others in stress, arguments, etc., what their usual face or body features are, etc.
It has a 20 question quiz to help you identify your type.
It also goes into individual features of the face, shape, eyes, eyebrows, lips, nose, ears, etc. with many b&w photos.
The only thing I could wish for is more photos.
The Face Reader: Discover Anyone's Personality, Compatibility, Talents, and Challenges Through Reading.......2007-06-26
Well written, engaging, thought provoking. Exceedingly useful for people who work with the public or who want to know more about the people around them. And its fun to read!
Profound book on an often misunderstood topic.......2007-04-27
Whether we know it or not, most of us practice face reading everyday. We match people to faces, get clues about a person's temperament and state of mind based on their facial expressions, and facial features influence who we look for in different life situations - romance, work, leadership, emergencies, etc. Wouldn't it be cool to know even a small fraction of the things about the face that will help us find our romantic match, the ideal boss/employee/business partner, the most effective leader, or even who we should ask for advice or a shoulder to cry on?
Patrician McCarthy's book, The Face Reader, covers this and much much more. Filled with hundreds of photographs that represent a diverse range of faces, the book does a thorough job of explaining face reading in an easy to follow format. Photos include not just whole faces but also specific facial features. From eye brows to noses and chins to ears, each has a dedicated section in the book along with its associated sampling of photos of usual to unusual variations of a facial feature.
In addition to the tons of photos, I really enjoyed reading this book because it is rich with the author's personal stories and anecdotes about her personal journey in face reading and the people she meets along the way. At times funny, inspiring, sad or thought provoking, her book isn't simply an encyclopedia or a how-to manual to reading someone's face. It also brings a human face (no pun intended) to this more than two thousand year old ancient art form.
Perhaps the most profound lesson I received out of reading the book are the personal insights I got about myself and the people in my life. McCarthy provides tools for understanding our individual strengths (in the book she refers to them as gifts) and challenges as well as to see what they are in others. Through this understanding, we can be more effective people, realize what it is we really want in our lives and know how to see and bring out what is best in others.
Great book not just for fun or the coffee table but also for personal growth, understanding and learning how best to relate with different personality types, relationships and business.
A Must Read!.......2007-04-25
I am an acupuncturist and had classes on face reading with Patrician while undergoing my Master's training. I found Patrician to be the most knowledgeable in the Daoist tradition of Mian Shiang (face reading). She has a deep understanding of Chinese history and culture which gave rise to a sophisticated system of medicine and Feng Shui. She is truly a genius at what she does. I would suggest her book and classes to anyone who is a student of Chinese Medicine or has an interest in human behavior. This book is more general and less health-oriented than the classes I took, but perfect for the novice to get acquainted with basic concepts of the 5 elements and Yin and Yang and how they manifest in our features and personalities. For the TCM student, the ability to gain this level of insight into one's patients is often more helpful than a tongue or pulse reading. Learning face reading also allows students to see concretely the expression of abstract concepts like qi or fire making it a perfect learning tool. For others, face reading helps one grasp that there are types of people who really do relate to the world differently and how best to interact with these different types of people. Wonderful for relationships!

An incitement to prejudice that's well presented.......2001-12-13
A very disappointing book for me. The presentation is great but content is poor on two levels: unacceptable sweeping generalisations (eg. brown eyed people are intellectual)and a negative approach to the subject matter: systematically critical and judgemental about people and not seeing their strengths. What a contrast with books like The Power of face Reading by Rose Rosetree, or Face Reading: an Illustrated Encyclopedia by Mac Fulfer, whose respect and compassion for the human race calls out from every page. Also, the interpretations given in this book differ often from those given by other respected experts. Conclusion: not a book I shall be able to use, nor would I give it to anyone.
Outstanding Book for Sales.......2001-05-12
This book was an eye opener and helped me to run my business better. I'm in sales at a department store and this book was a life saver in waitng on customers. My sales increased 100%!!! My boss can't beleive the change in my progress and he is giving me a raise! If he only knew what I know now, about people! I thought I should speak out and say something, becuase I want others to know just how valuable this book really is! Imagine a person coming into your radius who you've never seen before or met before and suddenly in seconds your mind has a whole picture of what there like , and your 90% to 100% right! I mean there should be a law agianst this thing called Physiognomy! I mean really!! I can judge there tastes, conversation type, there spending habits, wether their looking for value or prestige, if there looking for a bargain, etc. And I'm always right! I feel like I have them dangling from a string like puppets! I would definetly recommend this book to anyone in business that deals with the general public especially those people in sales. You can't live without it!
Windows to personalities.......2001-03-03
I've been interested in face-reading and palmistry for several decades and during the past 15 years I've tried to seek continual verification. In conclusion, I have very high regard for this field of knowledge, whether it is applied to health or to understanding personalities, one's past and potential future. It is quite amazing to find that we can verify whether people have tumours, gall stones or note the minute changes before and after an operation by looking at their faces. It is even more so to see how the lines in the palms change over the years corresponding to their emotional and personality changes. Face reading is certainly worth serious study. It is a joy to find this book's ingenious method of using rainbow colored divisions to demarcate different parts of the face for easier learning and application. All the colored drawings are very helpful in picking out the characteristic features. The summaries and personality analysis at the end help one to apply the "E-Z 10 second personality speed reading system". This is a well-produced book. I hope it will be used as a preliminary step to understanding one another instead of categorizing people. We must also be aware that usually we use very general language that's hard to negate. If you point to someone's eyes or mouth and say that she "desires love", how often will you get a "no" for answer? The need is to adopt a really scientific attitude and not to cheapen this field of physiognomy. There are many nuances. You can apply palmistry across the races. But with face-reading, I think we must be much more sensitive to some racial differences. Different combinations of features will also give new meanings. There are also deeper levels that face-reading must also consider, such as the muscles, the bones, the spirit reflected in the eyes and the more ephemeral colors related to energy rather than skin. These cautions only affirm the value of face-reading as windows to peeping into each person's uniqueness. This book serves as a very attractive and easy introduction, though at the price of being too simplistic.
Extraordinary Work.......2001-02-16
What a wonderful book. Your teaching method using color was a neat idea and the colorful pages enhanced the learnig experience. I'm a avid face reader so I read alot of books and this is the only book I've seen that isolates facial traits making face reading quicker, and easier. Those summary buzz words were great and the face reading concept is something out of the future. Theres nothing like it anywhere and it works. Now I use it where ever I go and I can't believe the results! I want to congratulate you on a book that I feel that everyone should have and is a major step forward in face reading. I've waited a long time for a book like this to come around. Yours is brilliantly done!
Great Book !.......2001-02-16
Fantastic book! I enjoyed reading every page especially the section on personality readout where you explain how to do it. It's easy and the system really works! I would recommend this book to anybody on the planet to get ahead with people. Thanks again for this precious little gem.

Customer Reviews:
This is the best face reading book.... .......2007-07-07
I bought 5 other facereading books. The depth of this book is the best. I also bought another book from the same author about Feng Shui... again, very informative.
Really good for the novice!.......2003-09-03
Although not a definative guide or a piece of work that has exhausted the subject, Lin gives the reader a good foundation in the philosophy and workings of face and body reading.
I can honestly say that I enjoyed reading this book even though at times the diagrams were a bit confusing! The information and style that this book is written in is very easy to read and comprehend.
Recommended with reservation.
Interesting but unimpressive........2003-07-14
Nothing new here and I don't think there is any substantial research to back up the concept. It is mostly wishful thinking, creative fiction and hokem. Pretty much a waste of time.
A little too tough to decipher..........2003-01-13
This is the second such book I have bought on the subject of Face Reading. The illustrations were difficult to follow and it's tough for the reader to develop a "user friendly" guide after completion. Rather, I suggest that you try "The Naked Face" by Young, which was far easier to interpret. Sure, if one were a practioner for 2 decades, then they could decipher the illustrations, but the learning curve was rather steep. Give the other book a glance, that's my opinion.
Very Interesting.......2002-09-28
This is a very good book if you are interested in face reading. It holds a lot of interesting information and detail about the face, eyes, nose, eyebrows, lips, etc. The reason why I didn't rate it as 5 stars is because the illustrations look the same to me and its really hard to tell the difference between certain shapes. More realistic pictures instead of drawings would do the trick.
