CAN ARCHAEOLOGY’S GREATEST MYSTERIES
BE TRACED BACK TO THE LOST
CIVILIZATION OF ATLANTIS?
The Great Pyramid. Stonehenge. Machu Picchu. For centuries, these and other sacred sites have attracted pilgrims, scholars, and adventurers drawn by the possibility that their true spiritual and technological secrets remain hidden. Who could have built these elaborate monuments? How did they do it? And what were their incomprehensible efforts and sacrifices designed to accomplish?
Now comes a revolutionary theory that connects these mysteries to reveal a hidden global pattern--the ancient work of an advanced civilization whose warnings of planetary cataclysm now reverberate across one hundred millennia. Here is startling evidence of an intelligent society dating back as much as 100,000 years--one that sailed the oceans of the world, building monuments to preserve and communicate its remarkable wisdom.
The Atlantis Blueprint is the authors’ term for a complex network of connections between these sacred sites that trace back to Atlantis: a sophisticated maritime society that charted the globe from its home base in Antarctica...until it was obliterated by devastating global changes it anticipated but could not escape. Opening up a Pandora’s box of ancient mysteries, lost worlds, and millennial riddles,
The Atlantis Blueprint is a story as controversial, fascinating, dangerous--and inspiring--as any ever told.

Tiresome hodge-podge.......2007-09-24
I'll be brief--this gang (and it is a gang) has been churning out rehashes of this material now for too long. Each book promises much but delivers not a heck of a lot that's new or even insightful; intriguing bits of information are mixed in with ambiguous information and wild speculation. The writers are just catering to a market, to be ungenerous I'd say they're doing it cynically or, at best, naively.
The problem is that at some point all this endless writing has to cease and some real archeology needs to take place--as in going in, digging, and finding. There are hints and clues aplenty but every fragment lacks context. There's a lot of human history to account for and simply taking every oddity and attributing it to "Atlantis" is absurd. Each strange artifact may have a unique history unrelated to that of any other artifacts. There are plenty of archaeologists working in established areas with mountains of hard evidence who are still trying to gain even a basic understanding of this or that ancient culture. These Atlantis and Pyramid types, playing with next-to-nothing, seem to have far too much figured out. That should make everyone suspicious.
This is an industry with a product and a market and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that if you surveyed that market you'd find the majority of the consumers read mostly fluff sensationalist books like this and very few tackle straight-up publications on archeology and anthropology which, if this topic is worth considering (and I think it is) means most of the fans are operating in a near-complete knowledge vacuum--they have no way of actually evaluating the information presented here. Tragically, people who do have scientific backgrounds encounter books like this and are instantly turned off to the subject--bad writing, bad logic, wild speculations jump out at them. To them it's crap and anything potentially valid is, tragically, tossed out with the bathwater.
You'd almost think books of this sort exist simply to kill any professional interest in the subjects.
My best book on Ancient Mysteries.......2007-03-22
I can honestly say that I found this book gripping. The authors researched everything excellently and the way it was set out was perfect. It was wonderful how they managed to sort out all the many bits of research by hundreds of other authors and single out the most important relevant to Atlantis. I shall be reading this book again and again and plan to buy several of the other books mentioned in this one. Bravo to the authors!
Atlantis Blueprint.......2007-01-11
I find it very interresting, even though I must disagree with the author's idea of the exact location for Atlantis Continant. I also find it very interresting concerning the shift of the North Pole Magnetic field, and I believe that we are seeing the same result today of another shift instead of what many wants us to believe concerning the Globle Warming. I can see now why the North America continant was under Ice in the Ice age at one time, who knows where the next Ice age will appear? I guess that is my two cent opinion. Well, I am fifty Nine years old so I guess I can truthfully say I am over the age 13.
quite good, thought provoking, but incomplete.......2006-11-05
There is just far too much evidence (physical, theoretical, mathmatical and much of it plainly scientific by any standards) that very advanced cultures have existed in our distant past. And, although they probably did not have plastic cell phones stapled to their ears, drive SUVs with 21 inch mags, or felt the need to consume copious bowls of carmel machiatos, this does not mean that they did not achieve a certain mastery over communication, travel, nutrition, health, astronomy, and science in general. They were every bit as sophisticated as we think we might be. They were clearly on this planet, they widely travelled this planet, and they built many mega projects (or inspired other later peoples to do so) before they died off (or left the planet, or were genocided, or quickly assimilated with other more primitive cultures for some reason). This much has to be viewed as fact, although any mainstream historian, geologist, archaeologist, and / or anthropolgist is much too busy singing for their collective suppers to ever be honest with themselves or the rest of us. So, sadly, ironically, and even paradoxically, current mainstream academics only hinder humanity's quest for the truth about our origins, and for this reason, they are better left out of the discussion and their cries of psuedo-science and blasphomy ignored, at least for now, which is what makes this kind of book and others so important to read and ponder.
Having said that, the Atlantis story is complicated and many previous authors lack, in my opinion, a wide enough perspective to really tie it all together. That is my primary critique of this book. Cleary Antartica is a very important piece to the mystery as it was in a much different local in the not too distant past, but there are many other sites (the Bermuda Triangle area especially Bimini Island, and the Azores region, for examples) that deserve at least as much attention due to various discovered artifacts and phenomina. So, just where was Atlantis? What was it exactly (city, region, country, continent, religion, movement)? Which land masses sunk, arose, shifted, and at what times? What roles did interstellar comets, asteroids, or our obviously artificial moon play? These are questions that must be addressed within a more complete thesis in order to be more fruitful and to really explain the Atlantis saga satisfactorily. This book falls a little short by these criteria.
A Good Addition To The Atlantis Myth Cannon.......2005-08-25
If you're interested in Atlantis, lost civilizations, etc., then this book is definitely worth a read. I found the most interesting pieces to be the evidence of Antarctica as a potential site for Atlantis, complete with comparisons to ancient maps, the concept of the North Pole having moved twice before from the Yukon and Hudson Bay, and the subsequent mapping of ancient sites. No doubt the authors have uncovered some very interesting correlations here on locations of ancient sacred sites and their relationships to each other. These issues are something that "mainstream" science should definitely be addressing, but of course will refuse to and call this book "pseudo-science". Of course that's just any subject the mainstreamers don't want to address. Much of the rest of the book gets bogged down in details, and Wilson's third-person approach to writing about Flem-Ath is annoying and over done. Still and all, a good read with many interesting proposals put forth.

Fascination & Boredom.......2006-05-14
After reading this book there is no doubt whatsoever that ancient history was quite different than what we are taught at school. In this sense, the books purpose has been fulfilled.
What Childress is good at is choosing fascinating and adventurous topics, capturing the readers attention with mystery and building a case by quoting from many different sources.
Having said that, there are a few things that bother me about his books in general: Childress seems to be a lazy writer who prefers to make compilations of other sources than to write things himself or come up with original thoughts of his own. His books are more Compilation of Materials than genuine story-telling or research. Also, he could spend a little more time writing/compiling/editing his books. There are several grammer mistakes, unfinished lines of thought, unrelated material, unreferenced sources and unclear editing in his books. Just a little more love and care to this important work would be appreciated. Another thing that gets quite tiring after awhile is the constant bashing of and antagonism towards contemporary science and religion. Much more support and cooperation from regular scientists good be gained if he?d stop ridiculing them (a mistake many esoteric authors make).
As far as this specific book goes, the Sanskrit transcripts are detailed and incredibly boring technical manuals to build spaceships, written thousands of years ago. They are in fact so boring, describing every minute detail of building spaceships (how to manufacture metals, interiour, machines, pilots clothing, weaponry, etc.) that there can be no doubt that these are not science-fiction stories or fantasy myths, but just that: Technical Manuals. Funny how the fantastic revelation of ancient spacehips can become this tedious. Since Indian scientists are taking these manuscripts seriously, it would have been interesting to know if and how they are applying this information, but little detail is given on that.
Still, in the context of human history this book is important enough to deserve 4 stars.
Another review.......2005-10-23
I bought this book out of curiosity after hearing about various ancient computers (the Antikythera mechanism), and how much knowledge from the past has been lost.
I am not too surprised that ancient builders might have decorated their vehicles as animals. Fighter planes have been decorated as sharks by painting teeth on the sides, and radio-controlled airplanes have been remodelled into such objects as the "flying lawnmower", the "flying stop sign" and a "flying doghouse" to name but a few objects.
This book is worth buying simply for the translation of the
"Vimaanika Shastra" and the description of the ancient Rama empire of India.
Material for both Musings and serious "What If's"........2004-03-10
This volume contains less conjecture than other books that the author compiled. Probably because a good portion of the book is a republication of a translation of an ancient Indian book on Vinamas(aircraft)(though some were desinged for land and water travel). And that is why I bought it. Unfortunately, The old manuel references materials and methods that leave the reader still confused because many terms are undefined though they are translated. plus it almost seems some of the aircraft were too decoratively constructed to be be actually funtional. I can make a drawing of a giant dumbo elephant plane complete with instructions but that does not mean it will actually fly. It's also hard to determine if the original ancient authors may have only intended these manuals to be part of the legends and fantasy of the mahabah...however-you-spell-it battle. like a indian "lord of the rings" trilogy. But, you may ask, do we go through the trouble of publishing diagrams and manuals for euipment and ships that are just part of a fantasy? Yes we do. Go to a well stocked bookstore and look up the "star trek" technical manuals. However, many legends are based on seeds of fact. And it would be foolish to assume that ancient poeple were not capable of developing tech. advances-even to the point of flight. But, this book does not seperate the Fantasy & Fact. It seems to not allow for possibility of fantasy just fact.
India?.......2002-02-23
India is starting to look more and more as the real cradle of civilization so flying machines might not be too far out there. Childress has a theory without proof then writes a whole chapter on it (anti-gravity). If Childress had a better grasp of science he might be on to something but so far he seems too open to alternative science, Orthodox science isn't perfect but disregard and misunderstanding of it isn't a way to build your case.

having read this book thoroughly i appreciate the effort done by the auther.i also translated the same book in technical english, the book is very informative,it simplified many equipments and systems to prevent the viman from natural hezards,to supply enery from natural sources.i whole heartedly appriciate him.since last 32 years ,i was working in an industry manufacturing supersonic fighter aircrafts, having adventage of technical knowledge and command on sanskrit,i can suggest a few addendums if the auther can enter them in his next revised addition, i wish every technical men should read this book.
Book Description
The untold story of a fascinating Renaissance man on an adventurous hunt for a lost civilization—an epic quest through castles, courts, mythologies, and the spectacular world of the imagination.
What do Zeus, Apollo, and the gods of Mount Olympus have in common with Odin, Thor, and the gods of Valhalla? What do these, in turn, have to do with the shades of Hades, the pharaohs of Egypt, and the glories of fabled Atlantis? In 1679, Olof Rudbeck stunned the world with the answer: They could all be traced to an ancient lost civilization that once thrived in the far north of Rudbeck’s native Sweden. He would spend the last thirty years of his life hunting for the evidence that would prove this extraordinary theory.
Chasing down clues to that lost golden age, Rudbeck combined the reasoning of Sherlock Holmes with the daring of Indiana Jones. He excavated what he thought was the acropolis of Atlantis, retraced the journeys of classical heroes, opened countless burial mounds, and consulted rich collections of manuscripts and artifacts. He eventually published his findings in a 2,500-page tome titled Atlantica, a remarkable work replete with heroic quests, exotic lands, and fabulous creatures.
Three hundred years later, the story of Rudbeck’s adventures appears in English for the first time. It is a thrilling narrative of discovery as well as a cautionary tale about the dangerous dance of genius and madness.

Fun and Interesting Read.......2006-03-21
I just finished this book and found it very worthwhile. I have always been interested in the legend of Atlantis and oddly enough, had never heard of Olof Rudbeck. Therefore this book was quite intriguing (and has neat information about the history of Sweden and mythology as well). A few of the chapters in this book could be a bit boring, hence the not-perfect rating, but the rest of the book is quite fascinating. I highly recommend it!
Engrossing biographical account.......2006-02-09
Much like the Holy Grail, the search for Atlantis is a topic that demands curiousity. Here, Peter King writes with mangificent prose the account of Olof Rudbeck and his quest to prove that his Sweden was indeed the location of the lost, advanced civilization.
Before getting there, however, King illustrates Rudbeck's upbringing and education, which is fascinating in itself. For instance, he tells us that Rudbeck made the first major medical discovery of any Swede when he discovered the lymphatic system after performing a dissection on a cow carcass in an open market. After this discovery, Rudbeck experienced a meteoric rise in both the educational and royal graces, and was eventually asked for help researching the whereabouts of an ancient Norse tale from folklore...
As a result of that research, Rudbeck began to see connections from Classical Civilization to the folklore of Sweden, both in geography and in their legendary rulers. The majority of the book is devoted to Rudbeck's obsessive mission, which eventually became proving that Sweden was the home of Plato's Atlantis. Rudbeck's methodologies were ground-breaking and impressive. King casts Rudbeck as an intelligent eccentric, both ridiculous enough to constantly ruffle the feathers of his peers and charming enough to get himself out of most jams.
The background history of Sweden and Europe make it a worthwhile read, but the story of Rudbeck's mission make it an excellent one.
Fun and informative.......2005-10-24
This book is a great read! It's both fun and informative and I thoroughly enjoyed Mr King's portrayal of Olof Rudbeck, a 17th century renaissance man who claimed he had indeed discovered Atalantis in his native Sweden. The book takes you along on Rudbeck's quest for evidence - - and it's quite an adventure. The language is rich and colorful, though not weighed down with too many details, and really paints a vivid picture of life and learning in a time along ago. I truly recommend this book!
Popular history.......2005-10-22
I am sure Mr King could write a fine scholarly work on Olof Rudbeck, but he or his publisher decided to aim for a wider market and the book strives to be 'popular'. Maybe this is a good idea, but it will annoy some readers. I confess I was disappointed. Talk of 'Apollo's dad' seems inappropriate to me, and I did not want events such as Columbus' discovery of the Americas explained so carefully. There is interesting material here, but you have to decide whether the packaging suits you before you read this book.
A range of disparate legends to an ancient lost civilization.......2005-09-05
In 1679 one Olof Rudbeck succeeded in tracing a range of disparate legends to an ancient lost civilization which once thrived north of his native Sweden: he'd spend the last thirty years of his life seeking evidence of his theory. Finding Atlantis: A True Story Of Genius, Madness, And An Extraordinary Quest For A Lost World charts his extraordinary ability to chase down the most diverse clues in his search for the truth. Chapters probe the adventures he had tracing lends of the lost Atlantis, the publication of his 2,500-page history, and his research in uncertain times. Reading at times with the drama of a novel, Finding Atlantis is charged with action and even intrigue - as well as historical accuracy, and remains the only biography of Olof to probe his theories in detail.
Book Description
A historian's investigation that may have solved one of humankind's greatest and most enduring mysteries: the location of the "Lost City" of Atlantis. More than 2,350 years ago Plato wrote of the fabulous island empire of Atlantis, which ruled the ocean as well as parts of the "opposite continent" - what we know today as the Americas - until the single "terrible day and night" that destroyed it in a storm of earthquakes and floods. For two millennia the fate of Atlantis has fascinated historians, philosophers, and explorers who have debated its reality and searched in vain for a kingdom shrouded in myth and legend. And now, after years of travel and research, Andrew Collins has gathered convincing evidence that may establish not only that Atlantis did indeed exist but also that remnants of it survive today. Collins's journey into the past follows the clues left by Plato, and they take him far beyond Crete and the Mediterranean, where scholars in recent times have located Atlantis. So do mummies in Egypt, Roman wreckage in the West Atlantic, the African features of great stone heads in Mexico, and the explosion of a comet 10,500 years ago. Collins's final destination will shock the experts and amaze all readers. "Acclaimed historian provides for the first time a clear argument for the civilization's existence and a pointer to its location." - The Express; "Probably the most substantial and well researched book on Atlantis since Ignatius Donnelly." - Colin Wilson, Daily Mail.

Yet another book about Atlantis ... not quite........2005-02-11
This book is not your run of the mill Atlantis books. Certainly the shelves as piled high with all kinds of "channelled" information and filled with the embellishments of the imaginative. This instead is a well written book discussing the evidence and arguments for a pre-ice age civilization. Global in scope and easy to read, I found this book to be fun and enjoyable to read. It helps to move the entire "Atlantis" subject area out of the obtuse and into the light. I recommend this book.

Atlantis in front of Gibraltar, between Iberia and Morocco..
The only possible location.
The book of Mr. Collins are interesting, but it is not but who another one of so many books written on Atlantis that leave from absurd hypotheses based on the absolute ignorance of true texts of Plato written in Greek and in Latin. If Mr. Collins and all those that try to locate Atlantis in America or other most remote places of the world had studied the Timaeus and the Critias de Plato from the oldest versions known written in Greek and Latin, they had never been able to raise nor to defend its hypotheses, since the simple reading of texts of Plato and the commentaries made by other old authors demonstrates that the island or peninsula of Atlantis was closely together of Gibraltar, Iberia and Morocco.
Nevertheless, made the most serious and rigorous study on the Atlantis island demonstrates that of to have existed Atlantis, single it could be located in front of the Gibraltar Strait, between the Gadeira region (Cadiz, Andalusia) and the region of the Atlas (Morocco). This theory is defended by the Hispano-American investigating scholar Georgeos Diaz-Montexano. Their investigations have been based on direct translations of texts written in Greek and Latin of the Plat'o Timaeus and Critias dialogues. Diaz-Montexano has made the first metaphrastical translations of the Plat'o texts and has demonstrated the existence of great errors of translation and interpretation of the true words written in the Plat'o texts. These errors have been the main cause which the experts and scientists have doubted the historical existence of Atlantis and also of which many investigators and writers have looked for the island or peninsula of Atlantis until in the most remote and impossible places. Recently Georgeos Diaz has directed to one scientist expedition to the area of the Gibraltar Strait and the Atlantic Gulf (Golfo de Cádiz) and has reported to UNESCO [...] the findings of several archaeological deposits under-sea where ruins of walls or buildings are obervan, very strange rest of metal factories of smelting as ingots, dregs and crucibles and strangers architectonic elements, most of the archaeological evidences have been found between the -10 and the -40 meters of depth and in the same area in which according to Plato it was the city main of Atlantis and the kingdom of the Gadeiros, the twin Atlas brother.

A plausible perspective on a legendary civilization.......2003-01-26
An interesting perspective a fine bit of historical inference makes this an enjoyable book. The author presents a realistic possiblity without all of the fluff associated with some researchers. There is no space invaders, no highly advanced cultures with supercomputers, or any supernatural people are present, just good old fashioned ancient cultures that are driven by the search for wealth and trying to keep their business secret. The possibilites that the Carthinigians, the Romans, the Phoenecians, and others have visited the Americas before Columbus are certainly plausible given the archealogical evidence that is available. The idea that Atlantis will be found in the Carribean is certainly not new by any means but the additional research is refreshing and the way in which the available evidence is compiled is excellent.
Well researched.......2003-01-21
This is one of the better books on the subject of Atlantis. Its author started his research intent on supporting the screwball notion that Atlantis was in what is now Antarctica. However, he followed the evidence to where it led - the Caribbean. While his conclusions are well founded, he should also consider that what he found is only part of the answer. Recent geologic evidence demonstrates that there was an island situated at the Mid Atlantic Ridge in the North Atlantic at the end of the Pleistocene Age (circa 11,200 BP). Although there is no physical evidence that anyone lived there, it should be taken into account. Toward the end of the book, the writer goes off on a tangent about fallen angels that dampens the sound research. It could do without that but is otherwise a good read.

Long before the Vikings landed on the North American continent, there was an ancient civilization in Wisconsin. Joseph writes a compelling archaeological history about this lost Bronze Age culture found beneath the depths of Rock Lake a culture the evidence suggests had a lively copper trade with the lost continent of Atlantis! An exciting voyage into our pre-Columbian heritage.

Enhanced with copious notes.......2002-12-06
Atlantis In Wisconsin by Frank Joseph is thoughtful and iconoclastic blend of metaphysics and archaeology, contemplating the possible former existence of the Atlantean civilization and a direct association with the area now known as the state of Wisconsin. From hints of Atlantean legend found in Native American folklore, to the mineralogical and archaeological mysteries hidden in Wisconsin's earth, Atlantis in Wisconsin offers an engaging and challenging hypothesis. Of particular note is a chronology described in a three page appendices called "A Rock Lake Time Line". Enhanced with copious notes, Atlantis In Wisconsin is provocative and thoroughly engaging reading. Also very highly recommended is Frank Joseph's earlier work iconoclastic work, Lost Pyramids Of Rock Lake: Wisconsin's Sunken Civilization.

May not be for "right" everyone - was definitely "right" for me!.......2007-07-28
Ever read a story and had it stick in the back of your mind - forever?
That was what happened to me when reading this book.
The first time I ready it was late 1998. Since then, the book has been added to my favourites list and I read it over and over (averaging once a year).
I do not know what I would give to see this done (properly) on the big screen, it would be definitely be a substantial amount. (But then Hollywood could screw it up pretty bad if they cut too many corners from the story... unless Molly was involved I would not want to see Hollywood muck it up!)
Wow, couldn't stop reading this novel. . . . . ........2002-08-29
Try reading this one on the beach! You will get the shivers too. I loved the whole story line about Sam, the orphan who is taken in by the old sailer, Darian. You too will try and figure out the connection between them and the other characters they encounter. The suspense about the other Rememberers fates was gripping. I love the way the story ties into Atlantis, the Greek Gods and the state of the current world as it relates to the lost world of Atlantis.
Atlantis Sinks - Plotline Treads Water!.......2002-06-10
This engaging enough Atlantis fantasy reads extremely well for the first half, bogs down badly in time-traveling/reincarnation problems for the remainder, and suffers from a weak deus ex machina ending.
Orphan Sam Smith has suffered from psychic phenomena his entire life, unsure how to interpret it and frequently thought crazy by those who witness it. Adopted by seaman Darian McCabe, Sam hears a siren's voice calling to him from the underwater reefs, and cannot resist it. He retrieves an oddly shaped diamond from the ocean bottom - and his life will never be the same.
A wealthy industrialist wants the diamond. He belongs to the Consortium, a group who tracks down psychics with Sam's unusual blood type and kills them. The Consortium knows that those like Sam are reincarnated Atlanteans, and fears their potential power should they ever come together. The Consortium heads are aware reincarnates, themselves - of those who were responsible for the original decline of the civilization of Atlantis.
Up to this point in the story, everything is quite gripping and exciting, but then Sam makes another dive, travels through a time portal, and ends up in Atlantis before its fall. His modern-day doctor, Cory Althorpe, is the reincarnation of the woman who was known as the goddess Athena, an Atlantean noblewoman whose voice was the siren call fetching Sam back. The two fall in love, endure some ugly adventures in the shifting Atlantean political base with Hades gaining ascendancy over Zeus and Poseidon, and escape to their separate destinies - which, of course, again intertwine, in the future - before Sam and the other Atlantean reincarnates in his own time gather, regroup, and dispatch their enemies with what might as well be a magic wand.
The first part of the novel reads like an action-adventure/spy thriller, and is very good. The second half reads like a soap opera, and is too clever for its own good - it delivers too many pat explanations for the gods, the origins of various Flood myths, and the like. The psychic-bloodline angle is quite interesting, but makes most of the past Atlantean plot fairly unbelievable - these "gods" would sooner (and better) have utilized their power, and if not, the explanation for why not is simply not apparent.
Not a bad read, just be aware what you're getting into before you start.
Cochran and Murphy do it again!.......2001-06-20
First of all, I loved this book. It was just as captivating as Forever King and The Broken Sword. I just couldn't put it down. I must admit it was a little slow at the begining but then it grabs you and doesn't let go. I really liked the way they tied in the figures from Greek myths and gave a creative explanation of where the legends of the greek gods may have came from. An interesting spin on things if nothing else. The guy that gave this book only 2 stars and didn't finish reading it doesn't know what he missed.I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read scifi/fantasy.
This Book is for Alternative Thinkers.......2001-01-13
If you believe in reincarnation, soul mates, ESP, psychic abilities, karma, and the mysteries of Atlantis, you will love this book. It is not for everyone, but certainly supports the alternative spirit.
Book Description
What do Plato's "concentric circles," Ignatius Donnelly's "mother culture," and Edgar Cayce's "firestones" all have in common? Does the center of gravity really lie at the earth's core? What connection do the "warriors of the clouds" have to current civilization? These and many other questions are answered in The Mythical World of Atlantis - a comprehensive study of the famed lost empire. Elements of theories about Atlantis put forth by philosophers and historians take their place alongside the "theory" revealed in Disney's newest animated feature. An extension of the film's fantasy, the book assumes that the fascinating lost civilization was real and flourished. Though the film's mythology is wholly fabricated, the details conspire to provide the reader with a feeling of authenticity.

This is a really delightful and thought provoking book that goes along nicely with the Disney movie. It builds on the lure of Atlantis and offers theories based on historical, geographical and archeological myth, legend and facts that support its existence and location. Beautifully published. Itýs the kind of book I would like if I were still a kid. I enjoy these types of books.
