The Good Spell Book is a delightful little collection of Romany folklore, spells, charms, and cures that focus on the good things in life--love, luck, health, and happiness. The spells are simple and require only basic ingredients, such as a ribbon or a candle. This simplicity allows for a singular focus on the outcome of the spell, whether it's relieving a headache or finding a lost pet. With its rustic charm, The Good Spell Book stands out from other spell books; it looks like someone's diary with flower petals, photographs, and even postage stamps stuck between the pages. Whether you read The Good Spell Book out of curiosity or to add happy spells to your own collection, you're sure to enjoy the feel of this well-crafted volume. --Brian Patterson

5 out of 5 stars Informational, fun, good read book........2007-10-06

This is a beautiful little book that you will love even looking over and seeing on your shelf. It throws in some history, and spells. I love how it give you spells and explains where some of the things come from.

5 out of 5 stars Love, love, love this book!.......2007-09-30

I decided to get this book after reading all the glowing reviews, and am glad I did. I am not a witch, or into doing spells, but I've always been interested in the occult. I get books like these just to toy around with the idea of doing a spell. If I feel it is a simple spell and does not harm anyone, I would do it. I have purchased a few other spell books, but none came as good as this one. First of all the book is so nicely laid out, it is very cute and has an old-world feel to it. I get the idea Ms. Kemp was going for. She wanted it to look classicaly and elegantly ancient. The cover is a very strong, hard cover. You can just tell that no expense was spared in the quality of making the book. It is not flimsy or cheap. Now what it is I really like about this book is, the spells are so simple AND there is such a wide variety! There are 5 sections: love, money, health, pets, wealth, and happiness. It has so many interesting, easy-to-do spells. I remember in the pet section, there was even a spell to heal your pet or return your lost pet. I searched for a while for a spell book that was easy and had good content and I finally found it in this lovely, little book! This will always be near me and I will treasure it to the day I die! I highly reccomend this book. You won't be dissapointed!

4 out of 5 stars good old-fashioned folk magic........2007-08-16

If you're a fan of simple folk magic like I am, you will probably like this book. In it, it has many different cures and charms from gypsy lore and such, which is quite different from what is in the spellbook market today. I feel that the book could've been bigger, but the artwork and cover detailing added a nice touch to it.

Overall, this is a great gift for yourself or those who like old-fashioned folk magic and lore from outside of the US.

5 out of 5 stars Great Spells.......2007-06-27

A Great book for those interested in folk magic, Gypsy magic, and beginners to witchcraft and magic. The section on Love spells is the best in the book, and the most useful. Great book with great spells.

5 out of 5 stars small quick simple reference for spells.......2006-03-29

This book is a small quick reference for spells. It has several spells in it that i didnt know but a few that i did. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in doing good work. Most items the spells require you already have lyin around the house. The spells are simple to follow and are good!. my son and I both love this book.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Ethnography, but Needing an Update.......2007-09-10

I have used *Kuru Sorcery* for several university courses. It's a great book for its time (1978), but so much has been learned about *kuru* (a spongiform encephalopathy related to Mad Cow Disease) since this book was published. Anyone who reads or uses this book (which is a first-rate ethnography, as far as it goes) must add his or her own "appendix" or "final chapter." I recommend this book, with the understanding that the prospective reader will need to complete the amazing picture that Lindenbaum painted as best she could at the time of her writing it.

5 out of 5 stars This is by the woman that SOLVED an epidemic!.......2005-08-29

Shirley Lindenbaum is the anthropologist who discovered the key to kuru. And this book is a marvelous, brief, readable introduction to medical anthropology. I use it every single semester for every class I teach.

2 out of 5 stars Recommendation .......2004-11-14

If you are interested in learning more about kuru and the Fore people read Deadly Feasts by Richard Rhodes. He provides a more comprehensive account of kuru and its relationship to other similar diseases.

2 out of 5 stars Incomplete.......2000-11-26

This book is interesting but seems incomplete. Toward the end of the book the author begins relating a sequence of events, then stops in the middle and explains that she doesn't know the outcome because her fieldwork ended at that time. I found this odd. I would have liked to have read more information concerning Kuru, how it changed the Fore' and (as would be the natural course of the disease if the cause (cannibalism) had in fact been removed) if there are no new instances of the

disease. The book makes the point of attaching the incidence of cannibalism to a shortage of protein in the diet of Fore' women and children. Has this protein shortage been remedied, or are the Fore' merely claiming to have given up cannibalism to appease authorities?

1 out of 5 stars A decieving title but good ethnographic content.......2000-04-09

I was not impressed by this book, particularly by the title. Only a small portion is dedicated to explaining kuru and its causes/effects on the Fore. The rest of the book is an ethnographic description of the life of the Fore, their reaction to kuru, and the ultimate outcome. In short, kuru is a disease of the CNS caused by cannablism (similar to mad cow disease). The studies take place around the '70s, and by then cannablism was on the decline, and resultingly the disease also became rare. This dry read was hard to get through and quite disappointing because of the decieving title. I would not recommend it unless the reader is genuinely interested in learning more about the Fore of New Guinea. It's interesting for a medical anthropologist, but not a casual read.

Book Description

The magickal methods and esoteric knowledge of medieval Europe (476 to 1453 C.E.) form the ancestral backbone of modern ceremonial magick. To understand medieval magick, its necessary to know the primary repositories of this knowledge - the grimoires of spells, incantations, and ritual instructions for working with angels and conjuring spirits. And to understand the grimoires, you must delve into the life and times of the magicians who wrote them.

Scholar and magician Aaron Leitch sheds light upon the greatly misunderstood subject of the medieval mage in this comprehensive reference manual. In addition, he provides valuable comparisons among the magical practices described in the grimoires and various shamanic methods of working with the spirit world.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellant reference book.......2007-06-06

Arron's book is excellant . I have been using it in conjunction with Kraigs Modern Magick & Theory.

Whereas Kraigs is more of a step by step, Aaron divides his by category but get you to the same place

The two companion each other perfectly.

What I liked best about it is that it takes the confusion out of which grimore focuses on which subject matter. Also, if you are a classic magician like Poke Runyon, this will assist in helping you to keep that tradition.

It is very well researched and has a good bibliography in the back.

Whether an arm chair mage or practicing magician, this is definately one that deserves to be on your book shelf. I wish this one of the first books I had bought, along with Kraigs, it would had fulfilled most of my questions.

Kudos

5 out of 5 stars Destined to become a classic text.......2007-04-19

Aaron Leitch's book is an incredible source book, giving overviews of the historical grimoires such as the Picatrix, the Lemegeton and the Red Dragon. Aaron also covers topics that are generally included in a grimoire, which can give you, the reader, ideas for yours if you have one. A very useful book, it gives me quite the advantage in my research, as most of the information provided is hard to find, and once found, must then be sifted and sorted. Secrets of The Magickal Grimoires is everything that the historical grimoires offer, but condensed and revised for a modern age of reader. If I had five thumbs, they'd all be up.

5 out of 5 stars A New Standard Reference.......2006-10-13

Every so often a book turn up that fits the "must have" category for students of magick. Secrets of the Magickal Grimoirs is one of them, in a class with Regardie's The Golden Dawn, Craig's Modern Magick, and Crowley's Magick in Theory and Practice. "Secrets" trumps all three on "academic defensability", in that it keeps no secrets - very extensive source materials are accurately cited in the footnotes.

This is not the usual re-hash of widely published materials, with original fantasy and speculation added - Secrets is the result of a major research project supported by a small community of serious occult scholars working to improve their understanding of Mideval magick. Secrets of the Magickal Grimoirs presents the current "state of the art" in these studies in plain language, organized so that a complete beginner will learn everything necessary to understand the more technical chapters. Obscure language is kept to a minimum and new terms are explained clearly. "Secrets" is one of those rare books that is equally useful whether your interest is purely academic, or 100% practical.

If you are interested in the historical origins, early social context, and development of magick as we know it today, you will find it here. If you are interested in the working principles of magick which bridge theory to practice, that's here as well: Leitch wastes no time arguing whether or not the magick might actally work, he goes directly to how and why it works, from both psychological, meatphysical, theological, and nuts-and-bolts practical perspectives.

But most importantly, Secrets of the Magickal Grimoirs is the only "operators manual" for actually using such classics as the Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon, the Legemeton, etc. "Secrets" provides an accurate historical context for understanding where these works came from, explains their obscure terminology, and unravels their riddles by supplying the missing links - everything the original users were expected to "already know". Before "Secrets", most working magicians could mine the old grimiors for useful material to incoroprate in their own work. After "Secrets", most working magicians can actually use the old grimoirs as their authors intended.

Secrets of the Magickal Grimiors is fully supported by an active online mailing list and archive. The Solomonic list community provides a friendly venue for discussion and questions on any topic related to "Solomonic magick", and many of the participants are working magicians who are actually using the material. Visit check Yahoo! Groups for the word "solomonic", and you're in.

My only criticism of this book, is that it does not include the actual grimoirs. But if you are reading this review, that should be no problem: They are in the public domain and can be downloaded from online archives (including the files section of the Solomonic list pages).

If this book is not on your shelf, fill the gap! Even if you never make practical use of the how-to material, this book is certain to expand your understanding of the meaning, and context, of real magick in both the Mideval and the modern world.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent work!.......2006-10-11

Medieval and renaissance magic has always been a fascination of mine, but also a source of the greatest frustration. I think for me the toughest issue has been understanding the material in the older tomes enough to come up with a coherent system in which to use the material. That is why I was so excited to find this book! I'm still plowing through it, however, I was so pleased with what I have read so far, that I had to write this review!

One of the burning questions that always arose for me was how the authors of the older tomes came up with the material, and how the culture of the day influenced their magick. I always thought if I were to truly understand medieval magick and how its done, I must try to place myself within medieval magician's shoes and see the magick from their point of view. Lo and behold, this is exactly what Leitch attempts to do in the first part of the book! He gives an enlightening view of the history and evolution surrounding the magick, which has given me a much better understanding the of material itself.

Currently, I am reading the 2nd part of the book which focuses on practical application. Finally, I can go to ONE reference book for information and instructions! Of course, I will still use the old tomes for cross referencing, but this book makes practicing the magick soo much easier! I especially like the magickal timing instructions, which I have already used for other personal work with much success! I cant wait to finish the book and start evoking!

1 out of 5 stars Riddled with serious Mistakes.......2006-09-16

Having read the promotional piece on leitch's book I was rather looking forward to receiving my copy of it.

It is a rather large impressive looking tome so I got settled with a cup of tea in hand into my comfortable reclining armchair for a good lengthy read.

Unfortunately time and time again I had this nagging sense that something wasn't quite right,as I read through chapter by chapter, which later became quite apparent, this author does not know enough about effective evocation to write about it.

Here's a case in point and I'll qoute from his book "It seems the modern practice among the Goetic practitioners is to wear the sigil of the demon as a lamen during the evocation. "

Apparently Leitch jumps in and arrives at this incorrect notion because he only found modern references eg. Crowley which mentioned the wearing of sigils?

Actually had he done his homework in a more scholarly fashion, instead of racing to get this brick in print, he would have come across Petersons refernce of the sloane MS which mentions that practitioners did all wear these sigils on their person.

The wearing of Sigils is the correct ancient practice, it is not a modern trend at all.

It is very unwise practise not to wear the sigil, Leitch forgets or perhaps doesn't realise that dabbling in this art can have serious consequences both psychologically as well as in terms of
things going wrong with the outcome.

If you are seriously considering pursuing this art do so carefully and wisely with the best sources of information you can get...needless to say you won't find what you really NEED n this volume unfortunnately.

Then we move along onto something else which is even more absurd, Leitch writes "The idea is to summon the demon with all the conjurations and `requisites' outlined in the Goetia, but to never have to repeat these ceremonies twice for any one spirit."

Where on Earth did Leitch come up with this notion? was he drinking at the time of conducting his research? or is he just adding nonsense to make his work seem more trendy with the new age readers out there?

If you go through the Goetia there is nowhere in the text that says you must only evoke each spirit once.

This is another Folly on Leitch's part, overall there are enough incorrect assumptions and directions in this large volume to get the inexperienced practitioner into all sorts of trouble if one follows Leitch's unwise practices and/or heads his foolish advice.

In actual practice you HAVE to evoke that spirit at least a second time to give thanks after the magickal working has been accomplished.

I was really disappointed that this book which I was waiting for with gleeful anticipation, turned out to be an error riddled tome which cannot be considered a serious study of any sort.

I would suggest you save the money for other works which are much better than this inept attempt.

Instead of this book I recomend you read "Ceremonial Magic & The Power of Evocation: A System of Personal Power" by Joseph Lisiewski and What I consider to be the very best work on Solomonic Evocation to ever appear in print "The Book of Solomon's Magick" by Carroll Poke Runyon also his DVDs "The Magick of Solomon" and "The dark Mirror of magick" are very well worth getting in combination with his book.

5 out of 5 stars Incredible, and comforting.......2007-08-16

While any work with a deity is personal, to read other people's experiences with Hekate is both interesting, and eye opening. If you're a "Hekatite" this book can only reafirm your faith in her, and the amount of respect that she is due.

You begin to undertsand that you are not the only one who goes through certain things with Hekate, that she will teach, and she will punish (If sometimes to teach). I'm sure now I'll get someone telling me that I'm going to go to hell, but this book was an amaizng insight for me.

5 out of 5 stars Interesting Insights.......2007-02-13

This book is interesting. Its an interesting concept. The contemporary photographs and artwork presented therein is interesting. The historical introduction is interesting. The essays, written by people who have experience of working with the Goddess Hekate is interesting. The all too sparse section III of this book with practical information, including invocations and recipes, is interesting.

In fact, this book is so interesting that I am at a loss to describe it. The insights provided through the personal essays are priceless. To be let into the personal experiences of people with first hand experience is an honour. With Hekate all the more so. The stories included such as Sue Bowman's life changing experiences following her attending a public ceremony honouring Hekate, the very practical and down to earth advice from Iris, the glimpses into a world unknown to so many who have no access to groups are fantastic.

Personally I feel that this book would benefit both those interested in Hekate, as well as those who have an interest in Paganism, Witchcraft or Wicca. This book has something for everyone.

    Book Description

In plain, straightforward language, Jason Newcomb, author of 21st Century Mage and The New Hermetics, tackles a subject that many magical texts gloss over or ignore--the practice of sex magick. Sexual Sorcery covers the many aspects of using sex as a sacrament, a ritual, or an expression of diving love. It also provides a plenty of practical information helpful to any modern sorcerer.

Sexual Sorcery includes preliminaries to practice, such as how to broach the subject of sex magick with a partner (or how to find a partner), explanations of sexual technique as well as etiquette and energy, and the value of love in any relationship, especially a sexual relationship incorporating magick. From the base, Sexual Sorcery delves into the various techniques, types, and rituals of sex magick--using magick to enhance sex, ecstatic and mystical experiences during sex, and more esoteric techniques of sexulal invocation, evocation, and alchemy.

    5 out of 5 stars A faithful pastiche.......2002-01-02

The author Randall Garrett wrote a series of novels and short stories about an alternate universe where Richard the Lion Hearted lived to a ripe old age, and his Plantangent descendents rule over a just and noble Anglo-French empire. Oh, and the laws of magic have been developed into basis of all technology and commerce. The orginal series was a lot of fun, full of humor, some decent mysteries, and tributes to a host of fictional dectectives. The central character is Lord D'arcy, a pastiche of Sherlock Holmes. After Garrett's death, Michael Kurland was commissioned to continue the series, with this book and "Ten Little Wizards".

In "A Study in Sorcery", Kurland successfully continues the tales of D'arcy and Master Sean, his forensic mage. A murder in a locked room in an abandoned Aztec temple in the imperial domain of New England (North America in our world) threatens the peace and stablilty of the world. Our intrepid heroes are dispatched to solve the case, with the assistance of Garrett's Doc Savage-type character, Lord John Quezcotl. Plenty of intrigue, romantic liasons with beautiful female spys, and danger from fearsome savages (my personal favorite fearsome savage, Chief He-Who-Laughs-Last, MA Oxford). Try it, you'll like it.

5 out of 5 stars A fascinating and worthy addition to new age and modern-day magic shelves.......2007-07-10

Space/Time Magic is a metaphysical studies guide to taking control of the complex probabilities of one's life. Chapters describe how to use sigils to manifest multiple probabilities; how to use the DNA spiral to explore space/time; writing as a divination practice; how to use technology to enhance space/time workings; and much more. Space/Time Magic literally lives up to its title in its study of mystical practices that affect the four dimensions, and its down-to-earth terminology makes in accessible to readers of all backgrounds. "In magic, particularly results magic, there is a tendency to expect that the result will occur now. This tendency is dangerous, showing as it does that you've fallen into the brainwashing of linear time. No result can be measured as occurring at a specific moment of time, and to try to limit magic in such a manner is ultimately to emasculate your workings. Everything, and this includes magic, happens in its own time." A fascinating and worthy addition to new age and modern-day magic shelves, featuring step-by-step exercises after each chapter.

    5 out of 5 stars Excellant!.......2007-04-18

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author provides theories from different points of view to explain how the magic works and lots and lots of practical exercises. He details what he has done and how it has turned out, but encourages the reader to take what he has done and build on it. He provided ideas that I would not have thought of; practices that can easily be added to anyone's daily routine. And he can write! I have purchased a few books from other authors in this genre and not all can.

4 out of 5 stars Space Time Magic - and then some.......2007-02-20

(Before the review - a disclaimer. I do know the author.)

The book essentially has three themes to it:
    1) Magic involving time and space/time such as retroactive magic, time manipulation, divination, and soforth.
    2) Concepts and activities that involve our space, time, and space/time ideas, activites, and interpretations.
    3) The direct, practacal application of #1 and #2 and how the author did them, often with detailed information.

Therefore Space/Time Magic is probably best thought of as "Space/Time Magic, Space/Time Concepts, and A Whole Lot of Other Stuff." The amount of useful ideas-per-page is extremely high and the repetition of common (or just plain over-repeated information) is extremely low. This is a book that takes difficult concepts, and shows how to apply them, often with direct author's testimony.

However, the book does suffer from times of loosing focus, or introducing techniques that may be useful for space/time work, but aren't as relevant as, say, other elements of the book. This doesn't reduce its usefullness, but it can be distracting.

Space/Time Magic is a book of experimental magic. There's no repetitive correspondence tables or things you've seen before. Though you can apply the work and ideas with surprising ease, its not Magic 101 despite its friendliness.

5 out of 5 stars Magickal applications of quantum mechanics.......2006-11-18

Quantum mechanics is well and truly in the public consciousness these days, largely due to the success of the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" This movie opened the eyes of viewers to the incredible possibilities available. The obvious question those viewers should have asked themselves is how they could go about taking full advantage of the possibilities.

Quantum mechanics provides an explanation for much of what is experienced while practicing magick, in particular that pertaining to the non-linearity of time. Many of the ancients viewed time as circular, while quantum mechanics assigns probabilities to various events.

Taylor takes the reader into a quantum world, where time is non-linear, and retroactive magick is possible. The concept of retroactive magick is fascinating. Taylor deals with the importance of perception defining our reality, and presents this as one of the keys to successful retroactive magick. This to me is probably the most exciting portion of the book as just about everyone has daydreamed about how they would have done things differently with the benefit of hindsight. The possibility of revisiting the past is truly exciting.

As with "Pop Culture Magic," I certainly don't accept everything that Taylor writes in this book. His ideas however, are intriguing, and certainly merit further investigation. Readers will certainly be able to adapt Taylor's ideas into their own paradigms. Taylor's message is an exhortation to leave the confines of the mainstream and experiment, and it is a message well worth sharing.

    5 out of 5 stars Space/Time, not for beginners.......2006-05-06

I'm with Lupa, I know Taylor from our many conversations and his posts on his blog.

I've allways been interested in space/time magick since about 2001 and ever since reading Taylor Ellwood's Space/Time magick I think I've found someone who has come to very similar conclusions.

However, I would like to put a side warning that this book is definately not for people who are used to the pop-wicca books that are mostly just regurgitated from some source like Raymond buckland or even Aleister Crowley. These ideas are very advanced, assuming that the person already knows most of the fundimentals of magick, however for some though, these other ideas could be manipulated and 'simplified' for most people.

I think though, the most of what I got out of this was a refreshingin of my own (what I call) reality warping experiments, and made me remember to think nonlinearly when working magick and when working space/time magick.

    Definately recomend for others.

    5 out of 5 stars A Highly technical manual.......2001-07-28

This book is definately not designed for the novice, rather a professional of Babylonian studies. The book covers Babylonian and Assyrian incantations, ceremomies, and prayers from the 76 cuneiform tablets in the excavation of Nineavah. They were found in the site of Kuyunjuik. The prayers of "lifting the hand" are presented in full with as much technical and related material as possible. The book presents each ritual with details on how to preform the rituals, libations to deities, and what is needed to complete the rituals. The book does contain details to help the novice such as the tablets themselves, an extensive vocabulary, notes, and explainations. There is a good forward from R.A. Gilbert and preface from King himself explaining his expectations of the material. All in all the book does stand up to those expectations and some. One of the most complete Babylonian books that i've ever read. a great compliment and companion to Semetic Magic by Cambell Thompson (1908).

      Book Description

The most complete summation to date of the New Testament evidence for magical practice by Jesus and the early Christians. The very notion of Jesus being a sorcerer runs so against the grain of the Western cultural myth that even non-Christians are likely to find it far-fetched or even vaguely disturbing. Nevertheless, scholars steadily accumulated evidence for magical practices in the New Testament throughout much of the 20th century. It is that ever expanding body of knowledge that has made this book possible. This book examines the following: The nature of the earliest Christian documents, the defects of their trans-mission, and the evidence for the suppression of descriptions of magical acts. The closely related problem of the New Testament accounts as historical sources. The radically apocalyptic nature of Jesus' message and the expectations of the early church. The failure of the apocalypse to occur and the theological reaction to that failure. The role of magic and mystery religion in early Christianity. A revisiting of the story of the "beloved disciple" and what it may tell us about Jesus and suppression of evidence about his life. Contents: Documentary Evidence / Infancy Narratives / Confrontation / Resurrection as Ghost Story /Apocalyptic Prophet / Apocalypse Postponed, / Magic and Mystery, / Jesus the Magician / Spirit Versus Spirit, / Ecstatic Inner Circle, / Christian Mysteries, / Secret Gospel of Mark, / Beloved Disciple, / On the Use of Boys in Magic, / Apocalypse, Magic, and Christianity, / "Son of David." / Mary Magdalene

      4 out of 5 stars I'm pleased.........2007-05-09

Well, when I got the book I quickly jumped right into it. The beginning of the book was all about herself pretty much, stating how she got her first stone and blah blah blah. I liked the information about cleansing and preparing, but she missed a few stones that are my strong stones. Like tigers-eye, and hemetite. This is a good reference book for your library, but I would def get another one, that lists ALL the stones.

2 out of 5 stars Not the best, nor the worst.......2006-06-20

For a concise guide, I was still anticipating something more than this. It is great for beginners, and it has a Pagan view to working with stones. Thus, it definitely adds more folklore to the mix. This book discusses some of the famous 'cursed' stones, amuletic magick, and elixirs. Perhaps the best reason to add it to one's collection (if not the only one) is to use it for all of the tables of correspondences.

This is a good book to keep around for a quick reference guide or for constructing spells based upon stone magick. The tables are very useful, though there are other books with more comprehensive sections than this.

1 out of 5 stars Capitalizing On The Term: "Sorcery".......2005-09-27

Yet another typical fluffy bunny book masquerading as something sinister. That's chic nowadays. What garbage. She's a lovely lady, I met her at a festival once and briefly chatted with her, but her books suck eggs. Sorry Gerina but that's true in my book.

Wanna learn real sorcery? Try Tarostar, Brujo Negro, Brother Moloch, Chuck Cosimano, or one of those guys. They're dark, mad and won't hold back the truth. Look up their books and see what you're missing.

Save your money. I traded this book away to some kid for some Pokemon cards for my kid's collection. Yeah it's that bad!

5 out of 5 stars An Excellent Guide to Gemstones and Magick.......2005-04-02

This is one of the best books on gemstone magick ever published. It covers everything from gemstone amulets to elixirs, and has a comprehensive table of correspondences, which I found extremely useful. Unlike similar books by Melody and Cunningham, it covers both the light and the darker uses of stones, and is also full of spells and wonderful pagan folklore. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the magickal aspects of gemstones!

1 out of 5 stars not what I was hoping for.......2004-09-08

I adore the world of the stone people and usualy buy anything and everything on the subject when I come across it. That was the case here, I bought without really looking and learned a lesson. I just do not understand this book. It really does seem like the author just wanted to put a book out about stones and compacted a bunch of information together between a cover. I am sad to say that this book should not be included in your collection. What a shame that trees have been killed to publish this!
