Customer Reviews:
Great Trilogy.......2007-09-16
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the two preceding books in the series. It was hard to wait to read the next book. I was able to really connect with this story and found it very interesting.
Super Reader.......2007-08-31
A pretty average and very light fantasy. It seems a group of vampire hunters from our world have gone to another to help a queen fight an evil vampire queen. Including a vampire nightclub owner, and a couple of other supernatural types.
For a war against an evil vampire queen, well, there really isn't much war. The evil vampire queen is pretty lame, too. Probably because she is a crazy girl that became a vampire, not really Lilith.
The battle at the end is over in about two eyeblinks. Pretty much it seems all this is kept out of it to have space for the romance parts.
Other than that, Roberts seems to be a decent enough writer, but I doubt she grew up reading about medieval warfare or monsters.
I wish it wasn't over.............2007-07-26
As I read the last few pages this afternoon I was caught in a bittersweet battle of not wanting the story to end and yearning to read the finale. What a great book and a great trilogy.
With the complex nature and background of Cian I would love to read about his journey through his life of being "damned" and his transition into "normal" society. I think we need some more of him. What an amazing character.
Trilogies Rock.......2007-07-19
Nora Roberts is the best a trilogies. They all have a good ending but you cant wait to read the next one. This book will hook you.
poorly read.......2007-07-16
I truly enjoy all of Nora Roberts books, and I read the first 2 Circle Trilogy books. The Book 3, I did not realize was ordered as an audio book. The story is great, the reading terrible. I would not recommend anyone getting the audio unless this is really your thing. I like to read and imagine what someones voice would sound like, not listen to a man try to read a woman's part and sound like a female. Terrible reading!

Customer Reviews:
Who knew she wrote more than Gooey Romance........2007-09-18
This series was my first exposure to Nora Roberts, I have to admit I never gave her books a second look, why would I read a trashy romance novel. Well I found I had been painting her with a very prejudiced brush, what a mistake! This is a great fantasy series, and the romance there is is very fun and not over the top. I will definitely look for more fantasy books from Ms. Roberts.
wonderful book, especially if you enjoy fantasy and romance!.......2007-08-19
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had the perfect mix of fantasy and romance. Blair is not your typical romance novel heroine. All of the main characters contribute to the story with their unique personalities and style. This is a great trilogy!
Dance of the Imagination..........2007-08-16
Not as superb as the first book of the triology, but still fabulous! The story had some lags and the romance between the two was just not as intense as that of Hoyt and Glenna, but still another smash hit filled with all awe! Fantasy and reality have a heavenly mix once again! A MUST READ TRILOGY!!
Very enjoyable, even if it's a little too much like Buffy!.......2007-06-08
It took me a long time to get into the 1st book in this series, but after I did I couldn't put them down. I read all three back to back and really enjoyed them. I am a huge fan of Buffy and Angel, the shows, and found a lot of odd similarities between some of the characters from the TV shows and in the books, but oh well. All in all, enjoyable. If you're a Nora Roberts fan, give them a chance, I'm sure you will enjoy!
Such a letdown!.......2007-05-26
Hello,
Im bucking the trend here...but I hated this book! Don't get me wrong NR is an excelent wordsmith, however Blair and Larkin's story was so...BLAH!

Book Description
Standing on the cliffs of 12th century Ireland following the disappearance of his twin, Hoyt Mac Cionaoith is visited by the goddess Morrigan and is charged with the ultimate of tasks: saving his and all future worlds. His enemy, the beautiful but deadly vampire queen Lilith, has had over two thousand years experience in cruelly killing and changing humans into one of her own - including Hoyt's brother, Cian.
Now, Hoyt, a sorcerer, must travel across the world and through time to find and train the five others Morrigan has prophesized will join him as a circle and do battle against Lilith's army of vampires on Samhain in the land of Geall. But just who is the witch, the shape-changer, the scholar, the warrior and the vampire? How will this unlikely band of six prepare and become one with less than three months until the possible end of the world?
Following the arrival of Glenna Ward - a modern day witch with a knack for making her own kind of magic, the kind that makes his heart melt - Hoyt must find the strength to save the world, and a love that knows no bounds.

Morrigan's Cross.......2007-09-24
The characters in this story are extremely well done. Would love to meet them - if only it were possible! the scope of the story is exciting and intersting as Nora Roberts expores the characters and their fight to understand each other and become what they need to be.
Morrigan's Cross.......2007-09-15
This was the beginning of one of the best trilogies I've ever read. If you like to get away from the everyday dulldrums and reality, ths is a good place to start. It only gets better with The Dance of the Gods and Valley of Silence.
Neat Series.......2007-09-11
I love that this book was so reasonably priced on Amazon! The story was better than others I have read in the same genre. Anyway, decent story, good price. What more can a person ask for?
Not as good as it could have been..........2007-08-25
Speaking as someone who prefers Nora Roberts when she writes as J.D.Robb - I thought the story was fine but it didn't leave me with a burning need to go out and get the second book.
Part of this might be down to the fact that it's the first in a trilogy, so the story has a lot to do - we need to be introduced to the characters, to the world they live in and the circumstances they find themselves. I thought the set-up was interesting and the circle of 6 a clever idea. I very much liked the poetry of it - (the sorcerer), "the witch, the warrior, the scholar, the one of many forms and the one you've lost". However, I found the characters (with the exception of Cian) didn't hold my interest. One of the problems with an ensemble cast, is that some characters are neglected.
There are moments where the dialogue sparkles - Cian especially, has an acerbic wit. And some of the set pieces are beautifully written, for example - Glenna's arrival at the club and her first (proper) meeting with Cian, Hoyt and King.
In the second half of the book following Blair's arrival there are scenes reminiscent of what the group already experienced in the first half before she turned up. I ended up with the feeling that the characters should have learnt these lessons already.
If this had been the first paranormal romance I'd ever read I think I would have been impressed with the world building and story structure, though the characters would still have left me slightly disappointed.
Excellent story.......2007-07-24
I can't wait to read the rest of this series. Roberts does a wonderful job of pulling the reader in and keeping their attention. A softly blended story of romance and drama that will keep you until the end.
Book Description
Every family has a story. Every story, eventually, must be told.
For most of their lives, Julian Perel and his sister, Paula, lived in a house cast in silence, witnesses to a father struggling with a devastating secret too painful to share. Though their father took his demons to the grave, his past refuses to rest.
As adults, brother and sister struggle to find their voices. A scientist governed by numbers and logic, Julian now lives an ordered life of routine and seclusion. My father gave up his language and his homeland. But he carried his sadness with him, under his skin. It was mine now. In contrast, Paula has entered the world as eagerly as Julian retracts from it. An aspiring opera singer, she is always moving, buoyant with sound. Singing was the only gift I could offer to my father. I filled the house with music. I tried to give him joy. . . .
Yet both their lives begin to change on a Wednesday, miercoles, the day that sounds like miracles. Before embarking on a European opera tour, Paula asks her housekeeper, Sola, to stay at her place--and to look after Julian in the apartment above. Yet Sola, too, has a story. I want to clean myself like the window of a house, make myself clear for things to pass through. Flat and quiet.
As Paula uncovers pieces of her father's early life in Budapest and the horrifying truth of his past, Julian bears witness to Sola's story--revelations that help all three learn how to both surrender and revere the shadows that have followed them for so long.
The Speed of Light is a powerful debut about three unforgettable souls who overcome the tragedies of the past to reconnect with one another and the world around them. In an extraordinary accomplishment, Elizabeth Rosner has created a novel of love and redemption that proves the pain of the untold story is far greater than even the most difficult truth.
From the Hardcover edition.

Thumbs up.......2004-05-21
In found the Speed of Light to be an extremely intense and original book that takes an in-depth look at second-generation holocaust victims. This book is written from the viewpoint of three different They each refer to themselves as I. The characters are differentiated from each other in the book simply by change in fount. Each character has its own font. And I also noticed that each character has an individual way of thinking and this also sets them apart and really shows how well written this book is. This is an interesting way to write this story since each of these people has a different internal holocaust experience and this is another way to communicate these individual experiences.
The story is about three people Julian, his sister Paula and their house keeper Sola. Julian and Paula's father was a holocaust survivor. Julian is a reclusive, genius shut-in who stays in his room all day writing a physics dictionary and watching his eleven televisions, which he has stacked in a large square. Paula was born which an amazing talent to sing. She travels abroad, training in opera, and also learns the dark past of their father's. Sola is a housekeeper who has just witnessed a horrible event where she lost most of her loved ones. He story unravels as we learn at the same time about the main characters.
The story amazing timing it slowly reveals the history of its characters all about the same time. This lays down an interesting foundation for the characters. This rapid jumping of time frames really keeps the reader on the edge of his or her seat.
The Speed of Light is filled with great detail that. The book was very good but at the beginning I found it hard to understand who was talking because of the fount changes and all of the strange first person but once you get into it is a really great book.
I would strongly recommend this book.
Uplifting story in spite of its graphic sorrow.......2004-05-18
This is an excellent example of modern literature of quality. Rosner's language is rich and her approach is creative. The story achieves balance with its three narrators and their stories. I don't want to give away too much, but some very sad stories are revealed and dealt with in a believable way. The character growth is not miraculous but true. It is difficult to find a story that is both sorrowful and uplifting at the same time. I wish I could find more. This was an excellent book for discussion in our book club. Highly recommended.
A Lyrical Story of Healing.......2003-12-29
The Speed of Light is a a novel with elements of epic poetry that can help each of us learn about our own wounds and how they might be healed. Elizabeth Rosner has written an important book that left me deeply moved on two levels. First, there is the story of three characters each struggling to live life under the shadow of their families being victims of the most horrible crimes against humanity. Secondly, there are the words Rosner finds to describe the internal landscapes of these people, and I found myself moved to tears at times by her descriptions. The poetic style reminded me of Ondaatje's writing in The English Patient.
Much of the story is told through the eyes of Julian, whose parents were Holocaust survivors. Here is description from his childhood:
"For a time there was a baby living next door to the house I grew up in. Late at night, when the baby woke up crying, I awoke too, feeling as if the sound of that baby came from inside of me. I lay there in the dark and waited for someone to bring the child the comfort it needed.
How could anyone bear it? I often wondered. How could anyone even attempt to bridge the gap between oneself and the world? All I knew how to do was live deep inside my body, far from the dangerous surface...
My father had no capacity for joy: it was squeezed out of him before I entered the world. Perhaps the years of being with my mother saved him for a little while, but even she realized it was impossible to resurrect someone standing so close to his own grave."
Julian's sister, Paula, carries this same trauma in an opposite way. She thrusts herself into the world as a potential opera singer. While she drives herself relentlessly outward into the world, she is unable to help Julian, who retreats to an internal life of suffering in which he often watches eleven television sets simultaneously and stays within a few blocks of his home at all times.
It is while Paula is traveling in Europe that Julian meets Paula's housekeeper, Sola. Sola's family was also the victim of mass brutality, but her response to this loss is so different than Julian's or Paula's that she is able to bring a new energy into Julian's life and the result is the wondrous mystery of this book.
The 20th Century was dominated by unprecedented collective traumas the impact of which is usually ignored in explanations of why there is such massive cultural and individual dysfunction today. Yet, it is fairly easy to see the collective impact of the massive crimes against humanity the world has lived through in the last 100 years. The brutal killing of so many people has left a visible scar across the personal, physical and political landscapes of our planet. The continuing search for solutions to intractable poverty and oppression in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America are part of the living collective wounds we must all confront as world citizens.
Rosner's book takes us into the internal world of just three lonely survivors of these holocausts and yet their story offers a penetrating insight into our collective pain and our potential path toward recovery and wholeness. She reveals in her lyrical style how an individual can be deeply wounded by a collective crime and somehow triumph over that wound by sharing her need for love as a way out of the pain. Survivors often become bitter, angry, souls, who shut themselves down and pass on their pain to others. Yet if just one wounded soul can rise above these responses and realize that it is the lack of love that caused the wound, the results can be a gentle, magnificent triumph of healing. Survivors such as these finds their way to finally end the continuing rupture of their own living spirit.
This is the important message of this wonderful book. Whether our wounds are the consequence of a collective trauma or a more random loss of love through illness, accident or individual abuse, the paths of the compulsive achiever or the lonely cynic will not bring us the healing we need. Our path to healing lies in reaching out from behind that wound and finding our common humanity with the love of others.
.
Too Precious and Self-conscious.......2003-11-30
I read this novel wanting to discover what others said they saw. But all I saw was the author's desperate cry for attention. I couldn't get past that. I do see how fellow customer reviewers could cry through this book but that's not necessarily a good thing. But how could someone be moved? Or find the words magic? I don't get it. The work is flat and meaningless to me. I only hope you see more in it than I.
Elizabeth Rosner's 'Speed of Light' - Magician with words.......2003-11-09
I cried my way through this book, spoiling a lot of perfectly good lunches and alarming my fellow restauranteurs in the process. And I'm a construction worker for crying out loud! Why? Why was it so moving?
I've always viewed words with suspicion. We think that they tell us so much, but it's what they leave out that is their defining feature.
They are really just units of a secret code that we've learned so as to share the most abbreviated version of our experiences. Even the most effusive, overblown language is nothing more than a sanitized, lifeless short hand for the brawling, rowdy reality of our experiences. Dice it, slice it, run it through the compactor until you have little interchangeable units of meaning - the LEGOs of our language - then use them to build a structure that we can all meet in....and we call this ...Communication?...Art?
Words are like dollars, a means of exchange with no intrinsic value. They pile up like leaves blown into the corners of our lives until our senses are overwhelmed and all we can do is think....in words. I'd rather dance, sing, or touch to communicate, to make Art, than use words. Words, in a word, are the enemy.
Or so I thought until I experienced what Ms Rosner can do with them. I didn't know it was possible. The mountain is reduced to the hill and the hill to a small pile and the pile to a few phrases, and the phrases to a couple of words, and the words......open the door to a world of feeling and we are home again, home at last, saved from our stupid machinations...by words... by you, Ms. Rosner.
It's a form of magic. That's all I can come up with. You say the magic words and things change.

Awesome book.......2007-04-11
I'm a "croppie" of sorts. I collect info about crop circles and I paint them. This book gives more detailed info about the actual energies present in specific crop circles, than any other book. The living energies of 67 crop circles are explained in detail. Researchers' personal experiences are also explained. The photos are good too. This is the ultimate crop circle book that I know of.
Great book, a must for a serious researcher.......2006-07-07
I use the information on the crops circles on my radionics machines. The explainations are a great help to mankind. For serious research this book is a must. Thanks for their tremendious dedication on bringing this information to mankind at this time. Caroline Connor Radionic Consultant

Having read 'Crop Circles Revealed: Language of the Light Symbols' from cover to cover, I firmly believe that this is a work of almost flawless scholarship and accurate interpretation. The only fault I could find, albeit minor, is the obvious typo in the title; 'crop' should have been spelled with an 'a' not an 'o'.
But can you understand it?.......2005-09-17
From the crop circle/star glyph combo 16 - "This is the triadular desectotron quadraphonic code for the deactivation of plutonium poisoning. This crystalline matrix will be imploded in the consciousness of a team of researchers that will be able to reduce plutonium's half-life to a transmugenative equatronic base that will detoxify radiation poisoning. That is the star gate that the information is coming through. The matrix that is the crystalline geode for this information frequency will be activated in to the consciousness of a team of scientists who are going to resolve the plutonium half-life dilemma. The crop circle is the crystalline matrix for this formula."
Living Information!.......2003-10-08
Crop Circles Revealed, by Judith Moore and Barbara Lamb, engages not only the mind, but the heart and soul of the reader to seek out the truth of this stunningly beautiful phenomena. This work has been impeccably nurtured into form. It is both visually moving and thought provoking. Through the authors' comprehensive interpretation, the reader is drawn into a personal understanding of the crop circles as LIVING INFORMATION. He or she is then empowered to define the crop circle message from their inherent wisdom. This book is an experience. It awakens the spirit to a greater awareness of who we are, and why we are here!

Firestorm - Adventure/Drama/Romance.......1999-05-15
Reyne is a fire specialist who went to back line fire work after her team of hot shots had to ride through a firestorm in tiny fire tents. The loss of young lives took Reyne off the front lines of firefighting due to fears she couldnt face. Logan is a smokejumper who loves the frontlines and is given the assistance of Reyne to make a contraption that will help smokejumpers caught in trees. It doesnt take long for them to fall in love but can Reyne be with a man who loves to come face to face with the one fear in her life she cant let go of?
Funny, Sad, Romantic, it has it all. This is a page-turner!.......1998-04-30
This is one of Lisa's Best! The story is about Reyne and Logan. How they met and how he helped her through a difficult problem she would rather not have faced. His compassion and love for her is unending. For those who have read Refuge, this continues the story of Matt and Beth and what they must face in the future. Lisa Tawn Bergren has such a beautiful way to her writing. She made me feel as if I could go to Montana and meet these folks. I highly recommend this book but be sure you have the tissues near by!

Forestalling Armageddon.......2004-05-30
Gate of Darkness Circle of Light is a singleton urban fantasy novel. The focus of this novel is Rebecca, a brain damaged woman with the mental ability of a child, but with the Second Sight. At the age of twelve, she was the only survivor of an automobile accident, suffering a depressed skull fracture which effectively stopped her intellectual development. However, she continued to develop sexually and thus was a desirable target for sexual predators. She has been a ward of the Toronto Metro Social Services since the accident.
In this novel, on a Saturday night, Rebecca discovers the barely alive body of the little man that lives in the tree in front of her apartment house. He has been stabbed with a small dagger. She takes him inside to her bed, but doesn't know what else to do. She leaves Tom, a local cat, to guard the little man and runs to fetch Roland Chapman, a street musician and bard trainee. When they return, the apartment has been disarrayed during a bloody battle between Tom and unknown assailants. The little man finally gives her his name just before he dies. His body vanishes and leaves behind a lot of blood and the dagger.
Rebecca leaves a phone message for Daru Sastri, her caseworker, and then they take the dagger to Mrs. Ruth, a bag lady. She tells them that the dagger is the knife of a Black Adept. Apparently the Darkness is making its move on the world of mankind and they need to enlist the aid of an Adept of the Light to even the odds, Rebecca and Roland convince Ivan, a local ghost, to pass on the request and later the White Adept appears at Rebecca's apartment. Evantarin looks like an adolescent heavy metal rocker, dressed in black and white, and of course is beautiful in a masculine way.
As Rebecca, Roland and Evan are discussing the situation, Daru arrives hastily from a family party and is brought up to date. They determine that the Black Adept has come to open a portal into the realm of Darkness on Midsummer Night; meanwhile, he is killing off the creatures of light and gray as well as indulging himself in sex and blood. Hopefully, they will be able to prevent him from opening the gate and thus forestall the devastation of the Earth in total combat between Darkness and Light.
Police Constable Patton and her partner, PC Brooks, become aware that something out of the ordinary is happening when their car hits a unicorn. Thereafter, they are involved in several mysterious deaths and keep running into Roland and Evan during their investigations. However, both are vulnerable to the manipulations of the Dark Adept and are continually diverted from the real action.
This story is reminiscent of the Bedlam's Bard series by Lackey et al, although preceding that series. In fact, two of Lackey's songs are used herein. However, it based more on the Zoroastrian mythos, in which a balance between good and evil is the desired state, allowing free will for humanity. The exact nature of both good and evil is not specified, but left as a mystery.
The story is apparently the author's third fantasy novel. It has a very unpredictable plotline and an unusual set of well defined characters, although the Dark Adept is stereotypical (evil so lacks originality). The character of Rebecca is extraordinary and the persona of the White Adept Evan is believable without being stuffy. Tom is a male cat, period; he is a totally independent soul with the heart of a warrior.
In case you didn't notice, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. I have also enjoyed the author's Valor science fiction series. I have other novels by this author on my shelf which I should get to very soon.
Highly recommended for Huff fans and for anyone else who enjoys tales of urban fantasy with a different twist.

Funny read, but wait, there's more.......2004-01-24
This was a very amusing read that took many unpredictable turns that I won't even mention. Wouldn't want to spoil them. And yes, there is also a bit of comfortable predictableness where the reader sees things happening long before they hit the character. Somehow, Huff can make the most "oh I've known that story since kindy-garden" thing into oh my g how ghastly. Great sense of detail. And she isn't afraid to play fast and loose with world religions. And she is capable of creating a character that realistically (fantasy-style) changes and grows.
What I was thinking about, among many other things she made me think about, when I put the book down, is how an author's whole life and way of being seep into their books. For example, some authors always have a wry way of looking at the world, perhaps their humor comes from showing "of course it's this way" juxtaposed to "this is how I hoped it could be, but of course no." Some authors always write with cynicism -- Ray Bradbury for one. His short stories are filled with a bitter view of humanity. Even Farenheit 451 is bitter -- but don't get me wrong; I love Farenheit 451 and it's phoenixesque qualities. Twain always writes with a deep cynicism that grows from great idealism. Huff writes from a generousity of spirit, a welcomingness and hopefullness. This book will make you feel more positive about the world, and have you seeing the "greys" scurrying around and hanging out in the trees. This is the first Huff book I have read, so I hope I haven't judged her wrong. I think this hopefullness is just part of her, and I love seeing a spirit like that weaving through the turns and dips of fiction.
At first I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into..........2002-08-26
I had picked up the book on an impulse buy because there was a unicorn on the cover and the back cover had some very slight appeal. I let it sit for probably over a year until I was hungry for a good book. I started reading it, not sure I was getting into it, but was quickly delighted with the way she took everyday events, twisted them with mythical fantasy and faery tail creatures and legends, and made a wonderful and addicting story that I couldn't put down. Now I'm off to find out what else she has written and how fast I can get it....
Couldn't put it down ! A real pleasure.......2001-07-16
This was the third book of Tanya Huff's that I have read and it was thoroughly enjoyable. A good tale of light versus dark with characters you can empathise with. It moves along at a fast pace with all the action happening in one week. It had echoes of Simon Greene's Shadowsfall for me in that it could have been a horror story but wasn't, or it could have been a trite little tale, but there was always just a little bit more under the surface.
Well crafted and designed to pull you in to her world. I would recommend this book to anyone, even those who wouldn't normally read fantasy.
A fine, fine urban fantasy.......2001-07-15
This was my first exposure to author Tanya Huff, and I immediately had to rush out and pick up as many of her other books as I could find. Not wanting to repeat what others have said, or give away important bits of the plot, I'll just add that this urban fantasy ranks up there with the best of, say, Charles DeLint. The finely crafted characters are the strongest part of the story--I almost wish for a sequel, as I missed Rebecca, Roland, Evan and the others as soon as I put their story down.

Ring of Light.......2001-08-31
Kate has finally made her choice and chose Tyler (thank Goddess because i was going to be MAD if she chose Scott), Annie learned her lesson about life and death, but Cooper couldn't take it. After what happened at the Midsummer ritual, she had ENOUGH. Cooper makes the choice to leave, and Annie and Kate are left to themselves. The Circle of Three begins to get ripped apart. And things get worse when Kate finds out that one of her family members is sick with a deadly disease. Will the Circle of Three get out of this...TOGETHER?
I liked it...but five stars was too much. Read and find out for yourself.
Magic takes a back burner in this emotional new book.......2001-06-16
In this book Kate has a lot to deal with. Her relationship with Tyler has progressed so that her parents invite him over for diner. She wants nothing more for them to not find out about her wiccan ways so she gets stressed by this. But things take a turn for the worst when she finds out her favriote Aunt has Cancer. Annie starts to volunteer at a nursing home so that she can better face death. But she's miserable there. THe rooms smell and one of the residents hate her. How will she deal? Cooper has seperated herself from the circle but will a chance of healing Kate's aunt Draw her back in?
In this book the author focuses less on the magic aspects in the three girls life and gears it more towards there emotions and fears, with wonderful results. This book was well written and lets you know what the charecters are really feeling. The next one "Blue moon" looks really interesting and suspenseful. I reccommed this book to anyone who's a fan of the series. I read it in a day.
Another Thrilling Book from the Circle of Three books.......2001-06-12
Cooper has left the group, but now, since a family freind is sick, can she be trusted to come back?
Kate's aunt comes to visit (with her brother) her favorite aunt. Annie now is working for comunity service for a home for old people. Here she faces death(as she was afraid of in book 5) Cooper faced her fear of magick, and obviusly returns(it always ends like that)
The Circle of Three seris is really good, great for people who think whitches have long noses. I would consider CO3 much better than Sweep(which is okay..) or amy of that Silver Wolf lady's junk.
DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BOOK
This book is so good because Cooper finally get TJ(i knew it!) and Annie faces death in a different way. The Ritual to heal Kate's aunt was so cool, and that ring of light(hence the name) Anyway read it, CO3 is a good series, I highly recommend!
Wicca understood.......2001-06-10
Like the rest of her books, Isobel Bird continues to explain Wicca in a way that gives the religion the respect it deserves. Her characters are "ALIVE" and shows a different outlook with each one of them. She also deals with things that teenagers are confused with and gives sound guidence as to how they should deal with this confusion.
a great book.......2001-06-09
Cooper, Annie, and Kate all have equally exiting experiences during their summer. Cooper deciedes to quit learning about wicca which affect her friendship with Kate and Annie. She also has a different kind of adventure with her friend T.J. Annie is not enjoying her summer that much when she trys to overcome her fear of death by voluntering at the local retirement home. And then of course Kate who may learn something about death as well when her aunt comes to visit and Kate discovers she has Cancer.
