This is one of the first, and still among the best, of the angel books I've read over the past 3 decades. John Randolph Price has a true grasp on spirituality, and has a way of presenting a subject once ridiculed as "new-aged mumbo-jumbo" with authority, finesse, believability, and an honest understanding. This is a great book for anyone that believes in the presence of angels. I give it a 7+! As propritor of an angel store, and author of Blessings in the Mire I have had access to any title of so called new aged literature for many years, have read more books than I can ever count on the subject of angels. Truly, John Randolph Price is one of the best voices of the many singing praises to the angels.

I was going through, what at the time was the toughest episode of my life. I was at a book store waiting on a friend. I was walking up and down the isles full of anxiety and stress, when this book caught my eye. Without thinking, I picked it up and started reading, I haven't put the book down sense. It is worn and old now. It has changed my way of thinking like I have never thought possible and opened up my life to a new more joyful experience. Thank you Mr. Randolph Price. The Angels in your book saved me from making a left turn instead of a right one at a very critical point in my life. At the time I had no job, two small children and was afraid I was about to lose everything and was drowning into a depression. I am now aware of the angels company and their service. I now have a wonderful career and new tools for dealing with new challenges., I make great money and bought a new beautiful home for my beautiful children. I always credit this book for saving me. It isn't often that I am so strongly "led" to a book, but I kid you not - I felt 'wings' fluttering, couldn't get the title image out of my mind, and saw a colorful light emerging from this book when I opened the cover almost seven years ago. I still actively work with this book today. This is a powerful teaching book based on esoteric traditions throughout the ages. Each angel is introduced as a timeless vortex of energy with corresponding archetypes from the tarot and ancient mythology, and the author guides you through the process of meeting each angel with a meditation. Manly P. Hall is qoted, as is the Bible, which would normally turn me off. However the amazing energy shifts that can occur by using the meditations in this book speak for themselves. Any description of this book really can't do the experiential results justice. If you feel drawn to this title, go for it. The vibrations are very esoteric and can feel alien to your everyday mind, but just EASE into it, and you will learn exciting techniques for altering your consciousness (for the better) and working with powerful angelic energies. And oh yeah, it added an amazing new dimension to my tarot readings, too.

Monsters are real. Janice Romney Farnsworth lived with one for fifteen years and bore six children for him. A devout Mormon, Farnsworth believed in the sanctity of marriage, of being a submissive wife and honoring her husband. But what she didn't understand was why her husband repeatedly beat her, demeaned her, turned her children against her, convinced others she was mentally ill and a danger to her children, and raped her.
Faced with this ongoing horror, Farnsworth turned to her Church for help. She was advised to go back and be a better wife, while her batterer enjoyed the full benefits of church membership.
Poignant and eye opening, Beneath Wings of an Angel, is a fascinating look inside the mind of a woman who became a victim of domestic violence. This book literally changed my life! The author writes with such brutal honesty, yet with such compassion and integrity, you cannot help but be moved when reading this. It reaches out with help and encouragement to those who are in the cycle of abusive relationships, and educates those who have not experienced these horrors. While reading this book, I was able to both see and stop my own dysfunctional cycle from passing down through generations, and for that I am deeply in gratitude to the author.

If you have ever been affected by abuse, this book will greatly impact your life. The author writes about her experiences in a powerful way that is captivating and enlightning. But what I loved most was her healing journey and how she teaches others to do the same for themselves. It is self-empowering and life-changing. This is a book I highly recommend for friends and family members of abuse victims as well, it will help them understand and know how they can help. It is a perfect book for those who suffer from low-self esteem or depression - it's so inspiring and educational.

This book is extremely creative, enjoyable, and spiritually enlightening! The historical reference to Charleston is very interesting. Once you start reading this, it is difficult to put down. I very much recommend buying this. I am waiting for this author's next book to come out!!!

A wonderful and touching story. It is intertwined with all the history of Charleston, but it is actual a story of spirituality hidden within forgotten ghosts stuck in a graveyard and an angel that is there to help them. Anyone who feels drowned by the daily doldrums of life should read this, it will help you to remember that there is so much more than just what we can see. I can't recommend this enough!

Abysmal book.......2007-01-05
I was quite relieved that I didn't shell out a single cent for this horrid piece of trash. While I love the idea of slash fanfiction authors branching out into original fiction, some authors just don't have the ability to craft original characters or a fictional world with any degree of talent.
There was not a single decent character in the entire novel. Sunnie, our supposed protagonist, was so completely laughable I thought I was reading a parody for the first few chapters. Scott Rohan (brilliant character naming, too) is just bafflingly terrible. Even the knight in shining armor is nothing short of a caricature. I can't say much of the story other than it was trite, boring, and slogged along with the worst narrative I have ever seen.
I thought it may be worth it for the sex. Not even. Bland and boring. No sizzle, no interest.
If you're curious enough to read this thing, try to con a friend into buying it for you. Actually, I would almost seriously recommend getting yourself a copy, as a perfect example of what not to do when writing an erotic novel.

This book was everything I expected of Kracken: solid storytelling full of detail and emotion. Though there were a few missed typos, it was easy to see past them and enjoy the interaction of the characters, as well as seeing the main character flesh out from a boy to a man.

I'd found this book almost by accident and, encouraged by the reviews, I took a chance on it. I've never left a review before, but I really felt I should this time.
This book was such an utter disappointment; if I could give it zero stars, I would. I followed up on this author a little and it appears her background is in fanfiction and I now suspect that the previous reviews were done by her fanfic followers. Be wary before you choose this book.
Characterization is a huge catalyst for a story. A character who interests you, who you care about, will pull you into a book, keep you invested and even forgive a few technical writing errors. It took me a long time to finish this book because I've never read a more annoying main character. Sunnie (the uber-repressed, yet with an irrepressible smile) is supposed to be male. You wouldn't know it if the author didn't tell us. The argument might be that he's been abused and, therefore, fearful, but even with that background you still want to read about a character who, in spite of those abuses, is interesting and finding his bravery. There is nothing interesting or brave about a man--even a gay man--who covers his face in embarrassment at the sight of women's breasts--covered breasts, no less.
I wish I could say something positive, but there's nothing to say. As far as the writing itself goes, it's at times clunky and confusing. Some descriptions had me laughing out loud and I'm quite certain that's not what the author intended at that moment.
I'm always looking for quality gay fiction and this wasn't it. Unless you like your main characters as dynamic as a wet rag (and your dialogue as absurd as a President Bush speech), then don't waste your energy on this book.
Kracken's The Angel Within.......2005-08-21
I absolutely love this original work of fiction. It's a dazzling tale of angst and pain and the ability to over come it all. Sunnie is a delightful character that is very realistic and I can't help but feel sorry for him throughout the story. Jhai's compasssion helps Sunnie see there is more to life than abuse and his love for Sunnie shines through and makes Sunnie see how beautiful he really is. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a story that has no bounds when love and friendship teach life lessons and teach us to accept what we truly are.
Heart rending yet wonderful!.......2005-03-02
I enjoy "The Angel Within" tremendously. The story is beautifully rendered and immensely moving, at times poignant. I love Sunnie and this lovely character certainly deserves more in life. "The Angel Within" is much more than a rommantic sci-fi fantasy. There is a harsh reality in it which sounds all too familiar in this world of ours when a society rejects and hates those who does not fit into its norms. Heart felt and deeply touching, Sunnie and his story will linger long in my memory. My only complaint is that it is too short and I am not able to find another story by Kracken.

Angel Kidz cards are powerful in their simplicity. They invite the user to find inspiration to play, laugh, smile, be quiet, share and help. Children can easily relate to the colorful images and simple text. Adults can uncomplicate things through these gentle reminders that fun and magic and play need not be distant memories, rather instructions about how to move forward and create the lives they desire. I highly recommend Angel Kidz for spirited beings of any age!

This collection is great for anyone who admires angels. The cards are fun to play with by themselves, even if you're an adult with no children. If you enjoy fun divination games such as tarot you will enjoy this card deck as well!

I've been using the Angel Kidz Cards with my grandchildren for over a year. My 7-year old granddaughter loves to take a card and tell me a story about what she sees. Sometimes when she's not her usual happy self, she pulls a card and we read the message together to see what Angel Kidz are with her to help her focus on her positive emotions and support her creativity and sense of adventure. We love these cards - you will too!

We love the Angel Kidz Cards and have so much fun and joy playing with them. My son pulls a card every morning before he goes to school and we talk about which Angel will help him to accomplish his task during the day. If he has the need for extra support, he wears the matching Angel Kidz T-Shirt. The cards also helped me to get deeper insights with my inner child, who wants to have fun and play more.
