Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.
History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10
Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.
I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.
Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.
Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.
I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.
This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Totally Illuminating!.......2006-02-23
This is by far the best and most complete source on Atlantis in print. Steiner explains all, down to the obscurist details.
If anyone is interested in the mystery of Atlantis, Steiner is the best person to go to. It's like you're already there when reading!
I would forget about all the hokey, new age spiritualistic books out there on Atlantis and go straight to the man from headquarters!

A Call To Arms.......2007-08-04
Getting the knowledge of THIS book into your hands IS THE PLOT of this "fictional" tale. One gets the impression that this is only classified as fiction out of courtesy (to whom?). Sure, there are villains and heroes, and even a little chase scene, but most of this book is monologue by Wise Ones, explaining their knowledge to the layperson who is about to release it to the world, and why he shouldn't do so. So, by virtue of the fact that you get to read their explanations, you are privy to their knowledge, and that you're reading is its announcement to the world. Full of interesting facts, quotes, & suppositions, that is great reading for anyone interested in religious history, the military-industrial complex, the dysfunctional society, and ancient arts & sciences. Now that you have the knowledge, what's the next step?
Stellar Novelette........2007-05-10
A more radical and convincing speculative work than The Da Vinci Code. Plausible explanations and scientific evidence uncover the earth's cataclysmic past (& future), an ancient global civilization, and the mythical origin of religion. Other excellent books: Secret Destiny of America, The Christ Conspiracy and Golden Thread of Time.

Ancient Wisdom Revealed.......2007-06-27
After attending Maurice Cotterell's spell-binding lecture on the Mayans, I had to read his books. Once I began reading the Mayan Prophecy I had it read within 24 hours. Cotterell and Adrian Gilbert's research uncovered historical revelations about the Mayan ruins. Cottrell's interpretation of the Lid of Palenque reveals the genuis of the Mayans to unimaginable heights. It's an extraordinary journey reading about the Mayan' cities and viewing the rich photographs and powerful Mayan art in this book. I've read many great author's books on the Mayan's, however, Cotterells' research and interpretation disclosed a deeper understanding about the Mayan civilization and their legacy.
Book Description
Shows how a desecrated tomb in the Valley of the Kings holds the key to the true history of the destruction of Atlantis
• Reveals that Tomb 55 in the Valley of the Kings was designed not to keep intruders out, but to trap something inside
• Provides forensic evidence proving that the mask believed to be the face of Tutankhamun is actually that of his elder brother Smenkhkare
In Atlantis and the Ten Plagues of Egypt, Graham Phillips explores the excavation of a mysterious and ritually desecrated tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Tomb 55, which he contends holds the key to the true history of the destruction of Atlantis. Unlike other Egyptian tombs designed to keep intruders out, Tomb 55 was constructed to keep something imprisoned within, specifically Smenkhkare, the older brother of Tutankhamun who was deemed responsible for the ten plagues in Egyptian history, to prevent such tragedies from ever happening again. The forensic findings from this tomb coupled with compelling new evidence from the polar ice caps provide sensational evidence that the parting of the Red Sea, the deaths of the first born, and the other plagues that afflicted Egypt were all actual historical events.
Core samples from the polar ice caps indicate that a gigantic volcanic eruption took place in the eastern Mediterranean around the time of Amonhotep’s reign. Other research suggests this to have been the time of the eruption that destroyed the Greek island of Thera, one of the likely locations of Atlantis, and that the subsequent cataclysm may explain the unusual lack of resistance to the new religion installed by Amonhotep’s son, Akhenaten, when he took power several years later.

A Balanced Piece of Detective Work.......2006-03-09
Why is it that the only review to so far have been openly hostile toward Mr. Phillips and his book is chosen as the Spotlight Review, and so end up above all the others? I am an historian from England and, as far as it seems to me, this review by Grand Rapids is not only as highly speculative as the reviewer claims Mr. Phillips's book to be, but it is vehemently anti-British. There is no way this should have been chosen as the Spotlight Review for what - in my professional opinion, at least - is a well-argued and balanced piece of historical detective work. Who is doing the choosing here?
A catastrophe theory that no longer sounds so improbable........2005-01-07
This is a cleverly written historical detective story set against a backdrop of in-depth and scholarly research. The author finds archaeological and scientific evidence to suggest that certain seemingly unbelievable destructive events recorded in the Old Testament really occurred. To give an example, he puts together discoveries from Egyptian tombs with geological surveys of the Mediterranean seabed to show that a huge tsunami may have thrashed the Egyptian coast in the fourteenth century BCE to cause what the Bible describes as the parting of the Red Sea in which the Pharaoh's army was drowned by a gigantic wave. This event, the book suggests, could also have devastated a civilization on the island of Crete to give rise to the legend of Atlantis. Many crazy and unfounded ideas have found their way into print concerning Atlantis and biblical mysteries in recent years but this is definitely not one of those. The author critically examines the findings of accredited archaeologists, Egyptologists and scientists in developing his hypotheses which he arrives at step by logical step. Historians today tend to shy away from sensational-sounding catastrophe theories when it comes to the decline of ancient civilizations, but following the tragic events in south Asia recently this book makes one think seriously about just how devastating natural cataclysms can really be.
Egyptian history brought back to life.......2004-12-20
If you were fed up with books about Ancient Egypt and never thought you would read one again, then try this. It is a really fascinating read. In short, the theme is that Exodus plagues of the Bible were true events caused by a natural catastrophe, but there is far more here that is enlightening and engaging. The author examines the period when the Exodus appears to be set - sometime in the fourteenth century BC - and, by using the records that survive from that time, he paints a vivid picture of one of the most fascinating and little understood eras of human history: when the idea of a single god first became a part of organized religion. He also proposes answers to a number of historical enigmas, such as the identity of the real Moses and the truth behind the Atlantis legend, and introduces a new mystery of his own - that the famous facemask of Tutankhamun does not represent the king at all but his scheming brother. In my opinion, this last riddle alone makes the book well worth reading.
fact and fiction.......2004-12-20
This book is a mix of fact and fiction, but then again many books today are like that. My advice to you is be skeptical about any author that he knows the truth of a major historical event. IF any real truth is found, the media and many REAL scholars such as arecheologists and university professors will be talking about it.
There are many books that talk what really happened to Tutankamen, and his brother. Weather he really is Moses, there is simply not enough proof. maybe yes, maybe no.
After reading the Da Vinci Code, it makes one think. What really is true. Is history really fabricated by the World Elite and secretly held by Secret Societies.
Well, people certainly buy the books that says the later, if they continue to sell, publishers will keep coming out with it.
If you really want to learn the truth. Go to Egypt on a tour and see for yourself. There is nothing like personal experience. BEst of luck and happy treasure hunting!!!!!
An Egyptian blockbuster - It has to be.......2004-12-19
It begins with the opening of the strangest tomb ever found in the Valley of the Kings. A mummy whose name has been erased and its soul bound by talismans of magical protection. An ancient Egyptian who was so feared that the priesthood thought they had to imprison his spirit for all time. It all sounds like fiction - but it's not. Each detail of the find is preserved in the writings of the archaeologists who found it and can still be read today. It is remarkable that no one has brought the details of this discovery to light before. This alone would make a great movie. But it's only the beginning.
His quest to discover the identity of this mummy and the reasons for its strange and unique form of burial, leads the author to make what must be the most astonishing series of discoveries about Egyptian history that have ever been made. Moses, the plagues of Egypt, the parting of the Red Sea and the Exodus really occurred as described in the Bible. Beyond belief? Graham Phillips produces archaeological, historical and scientific evidence to prove it. This too would also make a fantastic movie in its own right. But it doesn't end there. The author discovers that these events were the result of a gigantic volcanic cataclysm that also created the legend of Atlantis. Another movie here!
Ultimately, Phillips returns to the mysterious mummy, concluding that it was the earthly remains of the man whose evil influence was deemed responsible for the catastrophe - a forgotten Egyptian king named Smenkhkare, the brother of Tutankhamun. Finally, he reveals the most incredible fact of all. The fabulous treasures found in Tut's tomb were originally intended for his brother's tomb and the death mask of Tutankhamun - probably the most famous historical artifact ever found - really bears the face of Smenkhkare - the most feared man in Egyptian history. Yet another movie! Why and how this came to be, would be giving away a nail-biting finale of this well-written, well-researched and page-turner of a book.
This book has been in publication for over a year. If it is not in pre-production for a big-budget movie by now I would be very surprised. I reckon that sometime in the next couple of years this will be a blockbuster to rival National Treasure. Remember who said it first.

The best book ever written on Atlantis.......2007-04-22
It's not even a close call. This is easily the best book ever written on Atlantis. Speculation is kept to a minimum while scientific analysis prevails. Muck surveys ocean currents, plant and animal distributions and geological evidence and concldues that there is no other scientific explanation available---there must have been a large island or small continet in the Atlantic that has disappeared.

Could Not Finish It.......2006-07-10
I read "True Grit" with great pleasure, and after reading all of the five-star reviews of "Masters of Atlantis", I could not wait to get my hands on it. Well, I should have waited.
The only word that comes to mind for "Masters" is silly. The characters are not even slightly believable, and the situations are too farcical to be good satire.
The two-star rating I give it is very liberal, based on a few clever insights by the author. On the whole, however, I think a general reader would have to have an odd taste in books to find this one appealing.
Kooky Cults Without the Kool-Aid.......2004-12-05
The predilection of humans to involve themselves in cults is a perplexing topic that requires years of study and stacks of dictionary-sized psychology books in order to understand.
Or...
...you can just read Masters of Atlantis then move on to your degree. Charles Portis continues to hold me in awe with his deadpan comic genius. His silly plots read humorously on the surface, and move at a good clip, but suddenly one realizes that there is so very, very much more going on.
Where do cults come from and why do (presumably) rational people involve themselves in the nutty things? Portis' take on the topic spells it out in plain humor: an accidental encounter, an impressionable young man, the hangers on, the manipulators, and, gasp, the true believer who spawns a whole philosophy derived from the antics of a con man. Strangely enough, he begins to discern subtle truths about the nature of the universe. When the government gets involved things get sillier yet, but don't just write this off as fiction, we've all seen Congressional hearings; Charles Poris has got their number.
Line your Charles Portis books up next to your Kurt Vonnegut-they make great companions.
Dialouge and deadpan that leave your head spinning..........2004-05-03
I know the term 'best ever' is thrown out there too often and is in most cases downright cliche. But with this book, funniest book ever is an understatement. If you're a fan of deadpan, dry humor with witty dialouge and eccentric characters this book is for you. The first 50 pages are a bit slow in setting up the rest of the story, but from then on I was hanging on every sentence, not wanting it to end.
The character of Austin Popper is one of the most eccentric, off the wall, and laugh out loud characters ever written.
Let me put in the analogy of a movie. If you liked 'Royal Tennenbaums', this book is right up your alley. It has that kind of dry, acidic wit and tongue in cheek humor. If you're more of an 'American Pie' kind of person, you may be left scratching your head and wondering what the hell just happened.
sadly, the real cult is us portis fans.......2002-09-19
this book is one of my favorites ever. i just love how portis's accounting is so detached and even-handed, while what and whom he writes about are so absurd and pathetic.
because portis doesn't try to write funny, the reader can absorb the outrageousness situations and dialogs in pure form. and those situations and dialogs are a riot.
small caveat:
while a lot of events happen, these characters never really grow or learn from the disasters they leave in their wake. there's no redemption or closure. although it spans decades, this book truly goes nowhere. if you can't handle that, you won't like masters of atlantis.
Better than a Sears catalog.......2001-11-19
In the past few months I've read On the Road, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Catch-22... and this book ranks 2nd. It's catchy, fun, and truly different than the junk you can easily pick up elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and discover Portis.

SHOCKING AND THOUGHT PROVOKING.......2004-11-11
It took me a long time to read this book. Not because it was difficult to understand or lengthy, but because I found myself dwelling on almost every sentence. Secrets gets deep inide your head.
I kept a Bible close by to see if what was said is really in there, it was. Secrets cleverly uses the Old Testament and other ancient documents to make the case for a hi-tech society whose surviving remnants attempted to re-build civilization after the flood. The chapter on Ezekiels flying machine cannot be easily dismissed. The pictures of ancient aircraft are mind boggling. I respected Secrets because it was not afraid to come to a conclusion.
The "Magical Wisdom" comes in the form of a Western jounalist who maps China shortly after the Boxer rebellion and is drawn to a strange temple high in the mountains of Tibet. The Masters of the temple have been charged with preserving the ancient wisdom. The Masters perform Christlike miracles and the gist of it is that we all have these powers within us, but are un-aware of them. Secrets attemps to un-lock our hidden powers, but don't expect to walk on water anytime soon.
While people of faith will perhaps be hostile toward Secrets, the chapter on the real teachings of Jesus cannot be dismissed. It claims the teachings of Jesus have been mis-understood and states the case well.
Secrets explains why God allows tradgeties like 911 to happen without the usual religious excuses. Secrets does what organized religion fails to do. It defines God and what our actual relationship is.
The chapters on staying healthy, reversing the aging proces and avoiding the medical profession contains information outside of the mainstream and is worth the price of the book.
Secrets is well written and reads extremely smooth. It is not friendly toward organized religion and if it catches on it will have the TV ministers foaming at the mouth.

Muck surveys ocean currents, plant and animal distributions and geological evidence and concldues that there is no other scientific explanation available---there must have been a large island or small continet in the Atlantic that has disappeared.
Is it science? Is it religion? Is it bunk?.......2005-08-09
Muck provides ample conjecture and speculation (most of which holds up much better than other Atlantean theorists). The concepts utilized in his argument are plausible; the belief in an advanced civilization wiped out with little trace is just as plausible, if by nature or said civilization's own hand. It's probably best to leave the decision whether this is fact, truth, or myth to each reader. As a poster on a wise (if odd) character's wall simply read: "I want to believe."
Best book on Atlantis.......2001-07-05
If you read any one book on the topic of Atlantis, this should be it. It's a scholarly work that covers scientific ground that no one else even thinks to tackle. In particular, the late Dr. Muck's discussion of the Gulf Stream and climatologic evidence is persuasive. (It should be tested against the hypothesis of a polar axial shift to ensure validity with regard to location of currents vis a vis the Gulf Stream. His same ideas and techniques applied to Siberia could add further weight to the axial displacement hypothesis as well, or refute it.) More recent evidence about the astronomic event that shattered a small comet or asteroid into over half a million pieces, crossed North America from Alaska and crashed into the Sargasso Sea during the correct time frame (as evidenced by the "Carolina Bays") fully supports Muck's thesis and lends greater credibility to it. This out of print book should be reissued!
A simply amazing book!.......1998-09-25
A very interesting book for those interested in the legend of Atlantis. All of Mr. Muck's ideas are very intuitive and certainly can't be disputed. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in both Atlantis and theories of very early history.
example of one clever book.......1997-12-31
I have this book for several years and this one of the best in this subject. Author writes very seriously and gives you very good thesis. Anyone should consider this book as one serious aproach which is giving the right arguments. It is impossible to deny what author says. I warmly recommend this book!

"An oracle discerning the hidden history of Ireland".......2003-01-31
This book when published in the 1830's was a mind-blower, in that it totally dismantled previous conceptions about Irelands' past and its infinite mysteries as a mystical Isle. As an Irishman reading this book, and having received much nonsense about the ancient history of Ireland as a child, the book was a revelation. In one quickfire second, Henry O'Brien shook the pillars and columns of the Ecclesiastics' orthodoxy to its foundations.
Using that uniquely Irish landmark - the Round Tower - as his source, O'Brien interwove a miscellany of subjects like Buddhism, Hinduism, Mithraism, Linguistics, Gaelic customs, Language and attire, Persia, India, Egypt, Irish place names into an elongated thread of one book. The epicentre of this span of subjects was ancient Ireland and those magical people the Tuatha De Danaan!
What is most remarkable is the book stands the test of time; the research and level of scholarly endeavour is astounding. O'Brien exposed myths, untruths and misconceptions of Ireland's ancient past; he unearthed secrets which had been hidden in the deep recesses of time - tablet sealed - which hadn't been broken or penetrated hereto.
To do all this is a remarkable achievement; O'Brien defied orthodoxy - he unravelled the orthodox narrative that had been handed down by conventional dogma about the mysteries of the sacred Isle; in the process, he solved time honoured riddles; he posed fundamental questions and consistently answered those questions. Using his brilliant talent for linguistics and his collossus of learning, O'Brien's writing and synopsis was mesmerising; he opened a Pandora box. But such is the quaintness and seductiveness of the book that O'Brien displayed a penchant to vary the narrative at the appropriate time; included are fascinating illustrations and invariably he endowed each section with a poem as an appendage!
The most salient image that reflects itself like a silhouette in the mind's eye was O'Brien's logic: his arguments were persuasive, very convincing and his shield was passion and great purpose. O'Brien was a master at breaking things down into definites - his was an exacting science.
In conclusion, in the nineteenth century Henry O'Brien was a ground breaker; he chartered new territory hitherto uncovered by the sweeping sickle of academia. The most amazing and startling thing is that, arguably no scholar of renown or author to this day has tackled such a phalanx of subjects in one go - in one fell swoop; that the tautly bound secrets and mummification of Ireland's past haven't been unwound or unbound by any comparable unraveller of untruths since O'Brien's day.
Truly 'The Round Towers of Atlantis' is the most seminal, definitive, dam-bursting, revelatory, scholarly account of the Irish Round Towers, the Tuatha De Danaan and Ireland's ancient past extant. O'Brien's vision and perception wade through and clear away the unfathomable mists surrounding the mysteries of this sacred Isle. He shows the wonder that was IRELAND; he re-visits this magical place; he holds up -like a magical apotheosis - the Tuatha De Danaan and unveils the rays of their wondrous glory.
This book is a must read; it is an oracle; a key that opens the portal to the hidden history of Eireann. It is eternal because its domain was inscribed with an investigators plume recreating the glorious vista; its raison d'etre is truth. In this book, Henry O'Brien found the inner sanctum; its pulse beats to the rhythm of infinite time.
