Book Description
Neurophysiologist and educator Dr. Carla Hannaford brings the latest insights from scientific research to questions that affect learners of all ages. Examining the body's role in learning, from infancy through adulthood she presents the mounting scientific evidence that movement is crucial to learning. Dr. Hannaford offers clear alternatives and remedies that people can put into practice right away to make a real difference in their ability to learn. She advocates more enlightened educational practices for homes and schools including: a more holistic view of each learner; less emphasis on rote learning; more experiential, active instruction; less labeling of learning disabilities; more physical movement; more personal expression through arts, sports and music; less prescribing of Ritalin and other drugs whose long term effects are not even known.
* This is the revised and enlarged second edition of a very popular book that has sold over 100,000 copies. * Includes recent research on the brain and a new emphasis on the importance of the emotional environment for learning. * It begins with a new foreword by well known scientist Candace Pert whose work on neuropeptides has revolutionized our view of the mind/body connection.

New age pseudoscientific nonsense..........2007-08-27
...the "thinking cap" exercise is my favorite -- there's a photo showing some young girl pulling her ear lobes down almost to her collar bone!...the accompanying text claims that such yanking on the ear lobes stimulates "energy sites" in a manner analogous to acupuncture and facilitates thinking...ouch!...I think I'll pass on that one!...and the "energy yawn"??...or the "calf pump"??...no doubt there are reams of scientific research supporting such "techniques" for stimulating thought -- they're just not on this planet...personally, I think you should save your money and attend some of Ms. Hannaford's presentations at the "New Thought Center of Hawaii" where, over the years, she has presented such enlightening seminars as "The Cosmic Order of Sound" and "The Heartful Experience Sufi Dancing at night"...or maybe go out and buy some nice crystals and incense...but whatever you chose, don't waste money on this book.
Perfect remedy for a sedentary generation!.......2007-05-18
As many of the other reviews suggest, this book should be required reading for parents and educators. First of all, the explanations of the mechanics of the brain are very well presented for a lay audience--very easy to understand. The neuroscientific explanation then lays the groundwork for the thesis that Hannaford presents--that we need to consider the impact of the body and movement on the development of the brain. This book is a great step forward for holistic modes of education. Power Brain Kids
REQUIRED READING FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS.......2007-01-09
Hannaford is the wise teacher who shows how the body and mind are connected and how certain moves and exercises can improve school performance and even attitude. This is an extremely valuable book for anybody who works with kids, and will open your eyes to the whole child, not just the child-as-student. VERY highly recommended. Should be required in every teacher preparation program in the country!
Never thought of it before........2006-07-08
I'm a former teacher, current family lawyer, mother of a nine year old, and homeschooled last year. My daughter's current tutor recommended this book, and a lot of pieces are beginning to fall into place. Coordination, reluctance to ride a bike. I wish I'd had this book 10 years ago.
Great Resource.......2006-06-30
This book is easy to follow and is a great resource for those interested in improving functioning, particularly in children. The brain research included in the book is outstanding, maybe a little overwhelming for a lay person not used to reading this type of information, but made to be as user friendly as possible. One school I'm in has used some of the basic principles presented in the book with noticeable positive results in a very short time. This book is worth the money and time spent reading.

hocus pocus.......2007-09-11
You can prove or disprove anything with a little hocus pocus. After 200 years of using silver fillings(mercury) you think the FDA would not allow something if it was harmful--hummmm!!! Wonder how much money he made off this book?
For all the people using these "white" fillings--composites--just to replace silver filling--I wonder what chemicals leak from these polymers? They haven't been in use as long as metal filings.
I'm donating my book to the garbage can.
Very Smart Author.......2007-08-04
Jam packed with extremely helpful information that will challenge what you think about the mercury they're putting into people's teeth everyday, every hour of the day. It's unbelievable that it's legal to put mercury into the human body whatsoever!
You can absolutely beat multiple sclerosis.......2007-07-13
Some (I think about 50 %) can overcome/beat multiple sclerosis (it's just a name which prescribes the symptoms and course) for instance when you get rid of your amalgaam fillings. Don't follow your doctor or so-called specialised neurologist because they really don't know what m.s. is, or the reason you got illness in the first place. They don't care anyway (although they can seem very nice and polite ), they don't know and so on. It's just the medical system ruled by the pharmaceuticals. They rule everything and they just are interested in money. And that's all. So chronical illness must be there, is there and will be there forever. Be your own doctor/specialist. READ. This is a book you must read when you are ill. It can be (like other books) very helpfull, hopefull and interesting.

Controversial Dental Issue.......2006-08-28
In widespread use since the 1820s, the most commonly used dental filling material is a compound made by mixing copper, tin, silver, zinc, and mercury, commonly called "silver amalgam." The American Dental Association claims amalgam is safe, but the author counters that as the filling corrodes, mercury, which constitutes about 50 percent of the filling material, is slowly released from the filling. Mercury has a strong affinity for biological tissue and, released from the filling material, can form methyl mercury in the body. The author explains that sufficient toxic material is released from amalgams to cause emotional disturbances, birth defects, autoimmune diseases, and a host of other ailments whose etiology is considered to be mysterious, or unknown, by conventional medical practitioners and dentists. Gold filling material is preferable to amalgam, but the gold's purity is important because other metals, especially copper which is alloyed with gold to make it sufficiently durable, may create toxicity for some patients. Compounding the problem for dental patients is the fact that most dental manufacturers are reluctant to reveal the contents of their products (most patients never ask), and the Centers for Disease Control avoids the issue by endorsing dentistry as a self-policing profession with high ethical standards which is not responsible to the CDC, but only to itself. This well-written book may provide clues to many people's unexplained health problems. Highly recommended! I'd also recommend "The Complete Book of Dental Remedies" by Flora Parsa Stay, DDS, which is a comprehensive coverage of dental problems and prevention using homeopathy, nutritional supplements, and conventional dental care.
must read if MERCURY is on your mind OR in your head!!.......2005-02-01
we slowly are learning more about the hazzards of MERCURY in our bodies. sure, we now stay away from mercury infested fish--but what about the gov. is not talking about ("truth"-not in their vocaulary) is the mercury in our vaccines--NO they are NOT safe.
we do not know the individual threshold for mercury to throw us overboard. it could be just one vaccination with thimerosal preservative(mercury) that can injure-and don't give me that bs that we can detox mercury-the levels the gov allows are NOT safe for most-much less an infant who cannot rid all toxins to a full extent yet...and some can't detox the poison at all or only to a small extent--so why risk and put it in your bodies in the first place?
the gov will take away a dentists license if one talks about amalgam dangers to health. (ps flouride is not good for you either)
now we know for a FACT--yes a fact! that mercury in children causes AUTISM, also causes allergies-food sensitivities, auto immune diseases, ADHD, ADD.the symptoms list is long...
My amalgams were half out, replaced with composites. and I have another four to go..thought I read enough--I did not. Decided to see if I missed something, I did..there is a lot of info in this book.
I overlooked checking for positive and negative charges in my amalgams, I didn't know about the 7,14,21 day immunity cycle, I didn't know what to look for in my CBC's =which usually come out "normal" for us--check again--Huggins really goes over all this well. I'm going through his book again--AND got his other book "Uninformed Consent" to read before I proceed with the rest of my amalgam replacements.
His book is great. please read-even if you are not getting your amalgams removed-Huggins talks about the decay/corrosion dangers- infections, he talks about why having GOLD fillings and amalgams in the mouth are toxic combo.
if you do decide to get amalgams replaced--please do it with a dentist that does this only--if call a dental office-ask if they place amalgams in the mouth-and if they do-hang up! you do not want to put your health in their hands-amalgam removal MUST be followed by a safe protocol-call DAMS for more amalgam info in addition to this book.
read as much as you can before you stir things up with your amalgams, get them out, the chelate/detox--hundreds of ways to do this..and live a long life-a full one without illness, allergies, memory loss, bad eyesite, ringing in the ears, without ADHD......... --be mercury free--the best to you all!
Book Description
Studies show that one in five of us worries too much about our health. In fact, pervasive worry over preserving health or preventing disease can _itself_ become a disorder, one with very real physical and emotional consequences. The condition is known as health anxiety, and it often leads people to misinterpret minor symptoms and normal bodily sensations as the warning signs of a serious disease. In It's Not All in Your Head, health psychologists Drs. Gordon Asmundson and Steven Taylor encourage readers to consider whether excessive worry may be their greatest cause for concern. This straightforward and effective self-help program teaches sufferers how the physical side effects of anxiety--like muscle tension, nausea, or a quickened heart rate--may compound their sense that something is wrong. For anyone whose personal life or career has been disrupted by health anxiety--and for their caring yet frustrated loved ones--this compassionate, nonjudgmental, and practical book may be just what the doctor ordered.
Customer Reviews:
Excellent !!.......2006-03-21
None of the other books listed by Amazon sounded like they dealt with health anxiety, so I tried this one. It is EXCELLENT!!! It is very thorough and simple to understand. It has wonderful tips to use as well as suggestions on how to work with doctors and when to get additional help. Not much is written for the regular person on health anxiety, so this is a very valuable resource. Health anxiety is a form of anxiety in which the person worries excessively about his health and bodily sensations. Going to the doctor repeatedly for assurance does not help because you can get addicted to the reassurance! By the time you get home from the doctor after he tells you that you are fine, you have convinced yourself that he must have made some type of error or omission of tests, and you are super worried all over again! This book uses cognitive behavior therapy to help break the cycle of worry and fear over symptoms.
Book Description
You don't need to land a new job or change your career. You don't need to find a mate or lose weight. You don't need to buy a car or move to the country. Being happy requires no change in your personal, work, or financial life. You can find happiness without going to a gym, church, or bank. You don't need anyone else's help to feel ful–filled. There's no need to talk to a plastic surgeon, stock broker, or career counselor to feel better about yourself and your life.
Right now, you have within you all you need to find fulfillment and lead a happy, satisfying life. It doesn't matter how old you are or how much you earn. It doesn't matter if you're married or single, gay or straight. It doesn't matter where you live or how you look. It doesn't matter if you've just finished a marathon or you've been diagnosed with cancer. Happiness is within your grasp."
We've been taught and raised to believe happiness is somehow linked to our position in the world: where, how, with whom, and even how long we live. This is an insidious myth. No amount of money, no other person, no level of professional success will ever be enough to make you happy. Only you can make yourself happy. In It's All in Your Head, Stephen M. Pollan and Mark Levine weave the moving stories of real people with the observations of great philosophers and spiritual leaders, to reveal the simple truths that Pollan has seen reflected in the lives of successful, fulfilled, and energetic people.

"
Here are the simple truths that motivate people of any age to find and accept lasting happiness, illustrated with the stories of real people, and illuminated with the observations of spiritual leaders and great philosophers.
For more than three decades, attorney, financial consultant, and life coach Stephen M. Pollan has been advising clients and readers on the business of living -- everything from home buying and employment contracts to marriage and parenting. He has taught his clients and readers to Die Broke (use assets rather than build up an estate), to stage Second Acts (reinvent their lives), and, most recently, to Fire Your Boss (take charge of their own work lives).
Throughout these books, Pollan stresses that attitudes as well as actions are essential to success. Indeed, over the years he realized that the happiest and most successful people he'd met were also those who were the most energetic and exuberant, regardless of their age. By noting these attributes and incorporating them in his own life, Pollan came to understand that our attitudes are not just one element of succeeding at the business of living, they are in fact the foundation of leading a happy life.
Attitude is everything.
Those attitudes most essential to our deepest satisfaction and happiness reflect what our spiritual leaders and philosophers from every major tradition have taught us. We don't have to look to external forces to validate us and give us self-worth. We already have within us all we need to find fulfillment and lead happy, satisfying lives -- lives without regrets.
To finally be happy we need to accept responsibility for our own happiness. When we know the secrets are already inside us, all we have to do is start living them. With this book, we can begin now.

Attitude is Everything.......2007-08-30
Looking for a magic bullet to make you happy? Of course, you know there's no such thing. In the end, happiness all comes down to the choices you make each day.
And you can CHOOSE to be happy. You're thinking, "Yeah, sure, just CHOOSE happiness. I've tried that and it's never worked for me!" Try again, but this time, use the guidelines in this book.
There are 8 guidelines (or "secrets") offered by the author. To me, two of them were the most important, and probably all you need. They are:
--Don't try to be anyone but yourself.
--NOW is the time to be happy (not "when I have no debt", "when I lose weight", etc.)
If you follow these and the other guidelines, you'll come away from reading ready to live a life without regrets, one that is focused on the beauty of each moment in your life.
so not convincing.......2007-04-05
The title of this book made it sound really promising. But I didn't think the book was convicing - just a lot of platitudes. The only good nuggets of info:
Don't compare yourself to others. You are just where you are supposed to be. Don't waste time envying people whom you would not want to be. It gets better. The passage of time enhances your life.
Do you want to be Happy? Start here-.......2007-01-19
I have read several books on happiness during my quest for what everyone ultimately wants:TO BE HAPPY. I found this book one of the most helpful. I would give it 4 and a half stars if I could. While there is nothing really new in this book it brings together 8 essential principles that we all need a refresher in, and if we master them we will be happy.
1. You are where you are supposed to be. You must realize you are a great you and would not be happy being anyone else. (Don't be jealous).
2. It Gets better. Do you not like your current life? It will be better soon. (Always know today that tomorrow will be even better).
3. Own your success. Accept compliments. Do not give away or reject credit that is yours.
4. You don't have to go it alone. Do not be afraid to reach out for help and support when you need it.
5. There's no time like now so take action. If something needs to be done do it now. Do not hesitate, take action.
6. Your best is enough. Give your best effort in what you do. That is all you can do. After that you become frustrated and stressed.
7. The past is past. The past no longer exists anywhere but in the mind. Live in the present moment, that is all that is real.
8. Tomorrow is to late. Be happy right here, right now. The future has no reality it is only make believe.
Live mindfully in the present. Appreciate all you currently have. Balance your life. Is it worth being #1 a work if the price is time with your family? Why do we really work so hard at work or home? Is it because of our ego? How much do we really need materially?
The secret to happiness lies with in our mind, we choose each moment.
Helpful!.......2006-08-26
I found this book to have practical and humorous information and techniques to use in maintaining a lifelong approach to achieving more happiness in life. Definitely a recommended read! It's not necessarily a remedy for someone suffering from acute, severe depression, but for those of us with the chronic pervading, vague, "why am I unhappy", there are attitudes we can examine and change in order to improve our situation. We might also want to look at our expectations about happiness: We can never be 100% happy all the time and to expect this sets us up for more unhappiness; "I never promised you a rose garden"!!; that there is a place for unhappiness in our lives (for growth and change), to embrace even the unhappy moments instead of stuffing and masking, etc. We can, though as Stephan Pollan expresses so well, develop the attitudes and techniques to help us through those times and to maximize happiness and fulfillment in life. I didn't mind the occasional references to God; self help often relies on a higher power, and Mr. Pollan is entitled to his!
from a sceptics point of view.......2006-06-25
This book is really great. At first, I put off reading it because of the title and the bright blue and yellow cover. I'd read other similar titles and didn't feel like I got much out of them, or they presented lengthy exercises and didn't offer much real-life advice. I just thought it might be too much psycho bable for me, but I was soon presently suprised when I actually began reading Stephen Pollan's book.
This book is really amazing. It offers information anyone can understand and adapt in their daily life. Yeah, there is no ONE thing to make your life 100% better in one split second, but did you really think any similar books or this book would offer some magical tip to instantly make your life better?? If they did, it certainly would be short-lived. Instead, this book offers real life tips, amazing quotes, and actual representations of how you can put these thoughts and activities into action.
The quotes throughout the pages are probably worth the price of the book itself. I love all of them, and am planning to go back through and select a couple for other uses.
This book is really great though. I've read several other titles, and none were so straight forward, easy to understand, and easily applied as the techniques and ideas in this book. I think many people would be able to benefit this book whether you are unhappy in your life or if you've just hit a snag working towards the goals in your life. This book will inspire you, put you back on track, and show you how to find the happiness that was already inside of you to begin with. Definitely a good read! It's also really up-tp-date with information as of 2006.

Book Description
The only book on natural hormone solutions for women of all ages!
Millions of women suffer from PMS, endometriosis, infertility, mood swings, depression, hot flashes, and a host of other reproductive system ailments. Most doctors take the easy route of prescribing birth control pills, hormone replacement therapy, or some other version of synthetic hormones as treatment. The result is that women are forced to endure the possibility of unpleasant side effects.
Melinda Bonk used to be one of these women--until she discovered natural progesterone cream. Natural progesterone, unlike its man-made counterpart, is found in the wild yam plant and is identical to the progesterone found naturally in our bodies. The progesterone your doctor prescribes is just a cheap imitation, chemically altered so that the drug companies can patent it! Natural progesterone helps your body work the way it's supposed to.
It's Not In Your Head, It's In Your Hormones explains in easy-to-understand language how a woman's body works and shows why natural progesterone is the answer to the cramps, mood swings, and hot flashes that are brought about by hormonal imbalances. Based on the research Dr. John Lee revealed in his book, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause, this book shows women how natural progesterone can keep their menstrual cycles regular and pain-free throughout-and beyond--their reproductive years.
- Addresses women of all ages, not just menopausal women. - Based on the research in the bestselling What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause. - Previously self-published as Controlling Hormones Naturally-author sold over 10,000 copies!

It's Not in your head, It's your hormones.......2002-04-28
This book is an incredible tool and I am truly grateful for Melinda and the research she has done and shared through this book to inform all women of the many health benefits of Natural Progesterone. I have purchased many of these books for friends because I believe all women should read it before going on HRT. It is extremely educational, and easy to read.
It has help me find the balance that I have been looking for for years. I only wish I would have known this information when I was in my 30's. I highly recommend this book. It is a book that you can continually reference. She gives information not only on Natural Progesterone, but also on supplements and what kind and doses may work for you as well as stories of other womens experiences that we can all relate too.
Book Description
In America today, many suffer from the "Lifestyle Syndrome," where poor eating habits, lack of exercise, depression and anxiety have caused an epidemic of obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, high blood lipids, substance abuse, and general poor health, not to mention the cost. We are an addicted society and need to change how we think, feel, and behave to live better and longer. But how?
In "It’s All in Your Head," Dr. Mark Pettus tells how he turned his own life around and uses current scientific research to show that the secret to good health has been "in our heads" all the time. The will power to change in a positive manner, he reveals, is a biologic response that can be "turned on" in just four to six weeks to make us "addicted to health."
Dr. Pettus’s four-week self-directed program uses positive emotions, meditation, dedicated work, and self-awareness, to begin to achieve health, healing, and life satisfaction. "It’s All in Your Head" promises to change your mindset.
Crave activities like exercise, a healthy diet, less stress, and social stimulation as much as a smoker craves the next cigarette.
Gain greater awareness and control over the choices you make and their biological consequences.
Improve blood pressure, heart rate, and metabolic rate
Change your behavior and activities for better physical, emotional, and spiritual health
Create value in your life as you get up and start moving

Customer Reviews:
This book won't change anything.......2007-08-08
I thought this book was useless and not helpful, in the least. While it contained some tips on how to change your health for the better, it's really nothing more than a compilation of recycled info on how to do so (eat more veggies, take in good fats, exercise, etc.). I learned nothing new.
Also, there was little emphasis on how one would exactly go about changing their mind. While the author included research from scientific studies involving "mind over matter" and the power of the human mind, he failed to tie them into his main thesis. Because of that, at times, the book seemed convoluted and unfocused.
Bottom line: Don't waste your money on this book -- it's chock full of very basic info that you can find anywhere on the 'net. The only reason I gave it two stars is because he DID include the importance of omega-3 foods and the utilization of relaxation techniques and exercises. And, for the extreme novice, his tips COULD serve as a jumping board.
Hope for Those Addicted to the Unhealthy Lifestyle.......2007-02-13
Dr. Mark Pettus is a rare doctor--one who makes changing your lifestyle to improve your health something anyone can achieve. He's compassionate, nonjudgmental, and inspirational. He looks at the whole picture -- what you eat and drink, how you exercise, how you interact with other people, and how you handle stress -- and makes suggestions for "bite-size" changes that can help you wean yourself off unhealthy behavior and into a whole new way of being. He helps you understand how your brain works, so you can literally "change your mind" and focus it on healthy changes in your life.

A teacher's dream.......2005-09-11
This book is by Free Spirit publishing, and is currently out of print. At first I bought one for review to possibly use in my 7-8 grade gifted class. It was so good that I searched around until I could find enough for a class set!
This book is written toward a "tween" audience, using examples and situations that my students can relate to as they learn more about the physical structure, function, and learning/memory pathways of the brain.
There is also a teacher's guide that I used loosely as I designed this unit. I also supplemented with several resource books from Amazon used book store, especially "The Brain Pack" that is really cool - a favorite in the class.
The book not only includes comprehensive, reliable information, it also presents it in a fun way with cute graphics and manageable chapter divisions. A great buy!
Every child on the planet should read it!!! .......2005-01-14
It is an excellent source of science plus it introduces children to the greatness of the mind. This book is written for kids from 8 to 16 years of age, I'm a mom and I could not stop reading it once I started!!! I read it in two evenings and it is absolutely wonderful. I wanted to share this with you because I'm hoping that every teacher gets it to their students and every parent gets it for their kids!. It teaches children how important their brain is, it talks to them about the possibilities and capabilities of the brain.
Kids discover:
- How the brain evolved
- What the different parts do
- How many different "intelligences" you have
- What makes a person a genius
- 10 tips to making life easier
- 20 ways to become more creative, thinking outside the box!!!
- The mysteries of the mind
And what I found most important, it tells children how to handle difficult situations. It teaches them to always look at challenges as opportunities to learn something. Your thoughts are your reality, if you think positively you will automatically become better at what ever subject. It gives you tips and tricks to help you boost your brain power, which is a subject that I learned in college and I wish I would had known earlier in my life.
The downside of it is that it was written in 1992, (brain science changes dramatically every year) but since it is intended for kids they mainly talk about the basics which have not changed very much.
Excellent Resource for Gifted Students AND Educators.......2001-05-26
In planning a comprehensive unit on the brain, I purchased It's All In Your Head (student edition), along with a multitude of additional books. Of all items purchased, IAIYH (we educators love acronyms) proves to be an excellent resource--one I plan to use with all of my gifted students. The text provides basic and general information on a variety of topics: the inner workings of the brain, intelligence, "genius", problem-solving, sleep/dreams, and memory (to name a few). While no chapter provides in-depth, graduate level information, the information presented is clear, concise, and written in such a way that students, parents, and educators will find the book both interesting and engaging. Additoinally, each chapter provides a list of additional resources along with (and this is a bonus) readability ratings (one "*" means an easy-to-read book, while "***" is hard-to-read but "worth the effort"). Sections of the text require minor updating (for instance, the section on Gardner's multiple intelligences--only seven are dicussed), but these omissions are easily taught with supplemental resources. All-in-all, an excellent addition to any gifted educator's library and an excellent read for students. If your budget allows, buy classroom sets and let your students keep the book!

Nordine Zouareg has poured his heart and soul by giving all of us the key to unlocking the door to perfect health and fitness. I gave it 5 stars because it was the max, I could give it six stars without hesitation. Mind Over Body starts from where every one else has failed: the mind; with four easy steps to follow, then the nutritional plan packed with gourmet foods and the super fast and easy exercise plan that you could do anywhere and that lasts less than 30 minutes. Beleive me, this book is for more than what I expected it to be.
Right On The Money!.......2007-07-27
This book comes from years of watching and teaching people how to finally get in great physical and mental health. I met Nordine a few years ago when he was head of fitness at Miraval and my wife and I were there for a week of spa treatments. He had people from all over the world flock to him like the pied piper. What he taught there and what is in this book is pure genius anyone can apply. My wife and I love it.
Mind Over Body for fitness and for life.......2007-07-27
Nordine Zouareg is a former Mr. Universe who has been able to translate his outstanding accomplishments into a plan that has helped thousands of athletes and non-athletes achieve their fitness goals. This book offers a simple and doable fitness plan for real people with real lives.
The diet suggestions are easy to prepare and use everyday ingredients. Helpful nutrition information is included so that we can all understand how to make the best food choices and become empowered to create meals that will support our fitness and health. On this diet you are allowed to eat regular meals and snacks and even to cheat! The exercise plan is a balanced program that takes just 24 minutes a day 5 days a week and includes cardio and strength training. The program is realistic for busy people.
As great as the diet and exercise plans are, the real strength of the program is in the mind. Nordine skillfully shows how it takes more than just a good plan to be successful. Becoming aware of our undermining thought patterns is the first step to changing them. Nordine demonstrates how to increase awareness, how to get out of negative thinking that focusses on what we don't want and turn instead to our core desires to develop positive motivation to get what we do want. Drawing on the wisdom of positive thinking and spiritual awareness, Nordine describes a mental fitness plan for success in attaining a desired weight, a healthy body or success in any area of life.
finally a useful fitness book.......2007-07-26
Nordine Zouareg has written a very practical and useful book. It is not only about fitness, diet, exercise but it shows me how I can improve on the areas of my life that I feel need some working on with insight and wisdom. His personal story is fascinating and deserves more attention. I have purchased about six copies and given them to family and friends.
