Prescription for Nutritional Healing by nutritionist Phyllis A. Balch and James F. Balch, M.D., has long been considered one of the most trusted, comprehensive sources on the mind-boggling array of vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other dietary supplements now available. Working from the premise that a good diet promotes good health, this third edition of PNH still starts with the basics: consume fresh produce, grains, and lean meats; avoid foods that are processed or high in saturated fat; cook using glass, stainless steel, or iron--never aluminum; and drink filtered water. The authors also stand by their claim that the government-prescribed recommended daily allowances are ridiculously low, and that the book's optimal daily intake for nutrients should be followed instead.
So what's new in the third edition? Along with now-accepted remedies, like zinc and echinacea for the common cold, the Balches also explore many of the newer supplements to hit the market: SAMe (recommended for depression and joint pain), phosphatidyl serine (mental acuity), red yeast rice (cholesterol), and 5-HTP (weight loss, insomnia, depression). You'll also find an expanded chapter on alternative therapies that encompasses Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, along with a hefty section on pain control that offers a grab bag of options such as acupuncture, biofeedback, guided imagery, chiropractic care, and massage.
Still, the bulk of the book remains the more than 250 health conditions--from everyday problems such as insect bites and bad breath to serious diseases including bulimia, cancer, and AIDS--and the nutritional protocols the Balches recommend for treatment. Since any number of supplements can be taken for the same condition, the Balches make sifting through the glut of information a little easier by separating their nutrient recommendations into four categories: essential, very important, important, and helpful. And they take a lot of the guesswork out of buying supplements by listing the brands they know and trust. Once again, the authors have squeezed in an impressive amount of information, including valuable sidebars on topics such as the dangers of aspartame; how to choose a calcium supplement; common heart problems and procedures; cancer risk factors, diagnosis, and treatments; and sports nutrition. This is not relaxing reading, but it's enormously useful. While the material can be dense, the authors still manage to present it in a straightforward manner that's understandable even for readers without a medical degree. --Norine Dworkin

Customer Reviews:
Okay, but not great.......2007-10-11
I thought this book was okay, but I wouldn't call it a classic. I did hold onto it, and it is on my bookshelf, but I rarely refer to it. When I do, it's just to get a basic description of an illness, not for the remedies it recommends. I felt like it just repeated what everybody else is saying, and didn't really have any original information to offer.
Prescription for Nutritional Healing 06.......2007-10-04
I am not a devout herbalist, but I don't like to take a lot of medications either. If I can heal myself or prevent problems with diet, exercise, therapies, vitamins, minerals, or herbal supplements, then I would prefer to!
I wanted one natural healing book. Just one- for reference. So I read through a TON of books at 2 different bookstores and at Whole Foods. I choose this one because it covered SO much.
It has sections on almost 300 ailments (for example: anxiety, hair loss, hypoglycemia, arthritis, stress, migraine, depression, indigestion, flu and bee-sting) and it lists the vitamins, minerals, and herbs good to use for each problem. Compared to my internet research, it recommends many of the same things and more. I love that it also gives advice on what not to take, what not to mix, how much, and what problems can arise (no other book seemed to do this as well). In addition, there is info on diet, exercise, and alternative therapies. In the front of the book, she explains herbs, minerals, the different types of enzymes, and more. I also enjoy the essential oils list in the back.
It is a little confusing when she lists some supplements by Brand Name (I don't like that). And the herbs are more of a post script to each list, but if you want more on herbs she does have a separate book just for that ("Prescription for Herbal Healing").
I am happy with just this one book- plus the advice of the wonderful folks at Erewhon and Whole Foods (who, as it turns out, reference this same book!).
Great Reference Tool.......2007-09-28
What I love about this book is how thorough it is. Not only does it cover a lot of ailments, but when it lists helpful supplements, it explains exactly how they work, recommended dosage, and the importance of it. It also give suggestions for lifestyle changes (for example, foods to avoid, the importance of exercise, etc.) Amazing. It's organized well, you can look things up by ailment OR supplement.
My go-to reference for family health..........2007-09-22
I have a bachelors degree in holistic health, and was introduced to this book years ago when I first began studying alternative medicine. I have used this reference time and time again in treating myself and my family for common ailments. It never fails to yield useful information, always directing the reader to conventional medicine for more serious illnesses. An extremely useful tool for family healthcare.
Great Reference.......2007-09-18
This is a great big book with a wealth of information about a great number (a few hundreds) of ailments, what causing them, and how to deal with them the natural way. With close to one thousand pages this is a complete resource of medical problems from A to Z. It is well researched, well referenced, and well written. It is also very simple to use, all ailments being ordered in alphabetical order. It is an excellent reference book, a health bible that should be readily available in each household. If you have a health problem I suggest checking what this book will tell you about it, before going to your doctor.
Another book that I also highly recommend is Cure the Incurable

I purchased this book a short time ago and love it. I was delighted that the lemon blueberry bread was as good as it was. I suppose, never baking with Splenda, surprised me. Friends who tasted the bread asked for the recipe. I have many tagged for trying.
But I would highly recommend it.

I use this cook book often. Easy to read & understand, more than just desserts and helpful hints to cooking healthier! Would be better if colored photos were included, but still a great resource!

Customer Reviews:
What a great cook book from Splenda.......2007-04-11
This is a great cook book. I am lossing weight and needed to find a good cook book with lower calories. The food that I have made from this cook book is great. It tastes like regular food. When I bring something to a party no one can tell the diffence. I tell others that are trying to loss weight about this book. This is a must have.
Making splendid treats with splenda.......2007-01-10
A friend of mine gave me this book for Christm,as the year that it first came out. I immediately began using it. Chai tea, hot cocoa, pumpkin muffins, glazed carrots, etc. all became quick favorites. My niece came for a visit and together we would cook up recipes to test. All winners. I sent her a copy for her birthday and she was thrilled. She had asked me to send her some of the recipies, I decided that it was just easier to send her the whole book!
For me, the only negative aspect of some of the recipies is that they are way to spicy (picante). Now I just modify the amount of spices I add and all are happy with the result!
Great cookbook.......2006-12-22
I like this cookbook. I have tried the strawberry lemonade, which was great, and a cheesecake. I look forward to trying more things. It also has the weight watchers points listed which is nice.
Marlene Koch Fantastic Food with Splenda.......2006-11-06
This book has a good variety of recipes and is well organized. I also have another book using Splenda which is written by the same author. She covers the benefits of using Splenda very well. It's a great way to get rid of the empty calories in sugar without sacrificing sweet taste.
A Perfect Fit.......2006-01-05
I have been on a moderate carb diet for a few years and was experimenting with recipes that would fit with my exchange diet and carb counting. Splenda had been on the market for only a year and few people knew how to cook with it and gain good results. Enter Marlene Koch into my life. Her recipes from this book were just what the doctor ordered. There is just enough sugar to make the textures in the food work, but the carb count and fat content was "a perfect fit" for my diet needs. Not only that, but every recipe I tried tasted fantastic and this book has allowed me to return classic recipes such as three bean salad, coleslaw, gingerbread and "sugar" cookies back into my diet without guilt or ill effects. I've made many of the recipes in this book and make her "Heavenly Cheesecake" for my holiday table each year.
Thank you Marlene for all your hard work. I'm looking forward to reading and cooking from more of your books!

Betty Crocker is on the health bandwagon. Not one for fads, Betty sensibly bases this 175-recipe cookbook on the Food Guide Pyramid guidelines recommended by the American Heart Association and many other medical and nutrition professional organizations. You learn tips for cutting down on fat and cholesterol, understanding the different kinds of fat, and making smart food choices for heart health. The idea is to reduce fat by making ingredient substitutions and small alterations, but not making drastic changes. The recipes are varied and creative and don't resemble "diet food": Ginger Shrimp Kabobs, Vegetable Potstickers, Stuffed Veal Chops with Cider Sauce, Vegetable and Ham Jambalaya, Curried Chicken and Nectarines, Caribbean Fish Salad, and Thai Shrimp and Rice Noodle Nests. The desserts include Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake with Raspberry Topping (only 20 percent fat!), Blueberry-Lime Torte (about 15 percent fat), and Double Chocolate-Date Cake (about 25 percent fat). Recipes are labeled with symbols indicating "low-calorie," "low-fat," "moderate-fat," "low-cholesterol," and "moderate-cholesterol," so you can choose how far you want to go. Each recipe has a hefty amount of nutritional information: calories, fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, carbohydrate, fiber, protein, vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and diet exchanges. Cooks who love knowing what the dishes should look like will enjoy the 45 mouth-watering color photos. --Joan Price

Customer Reviews:
Wonderful cookbook.......2007-04-19
My husband had quadruple bypass in January of this year. I started looking for low fat-low cholesterol cookbooks! I purchased this cookbook along with a few others, and this one is by far our favorite. The meals are fast, taste great, and use ingredients you usually have on hand. We have been cooking new recipes out of this book frequently and haven't found one that we didn't like. We bought the book as a gift for friends and they love it too. When we have people over for dinner, they do not even realize they are eating a healthy meal, as every recipe has great flavor. Definitely a star!
wonderful.......2007-03-15
after receiving this book, I was able to control my cholestrol, not that it was totally out of control, but being told it is slightly high I needed to change my diet. Betty Crocker has been around along time so it is a trustworthy and household name.
Great reference book as well as cookbook.......2007-01-13
I was recently diagnosed with the "lower it or we're putting you on medicine" type of cholesterol so along with internet research, I bought this book. I'm a big fan of cooking and this has a TON of great ideas for cooking. I was surprised that things I thought were on the "no no" list were listed in several of the recipes as partial ingredients. I was very excited to learn I could still have cheese (in moderation!)
The book categorizes all of the recipes with "low calorie" "low fat" and "low cholesterol." While not every recipe is all three there is enough variety that if you're in the mood for a little cholesterol, there's a recipe that's low cal and low fat to satisfy you (and vice-versa). It also gives you pictuers for things you're not exactly sure about -- like just how peaked the egg whites need to be when making meringue.
Better Advice Than Recipes.......2007-01-09
I've had this book for several months, and I haven't yet prepared a recipe from it; however, I've referenced it countless times. If you have high or even borderline cholesterol problems -- even if your cholesterol was fine last time you had it checked, this book will help you stay on the rails. It is invaluable for such things as the five highest fiber cereals. Lists of veggies that are filled with folic acid. Foods to get your LDL down and your HDL up. And one of these days, I will prepare a recipe, too.
Cookbook review.......2006-11-07
I have found several receipes in the cookbook that I have cooked and my family has enjoyed. I also had my mom try some and she ordered the cookbook for herself. The only thing that I would like to see would be to have alternates for people cooking for less and for people that don't tolerate a lot of spices.

There's still a lot to learn about the healing power of plants, James Duke points out, but what we do know is already prodigious. Much of that knowledge is gathered in The Green Pharmacy, an A-to-Z guide to that relies on plant-based medicines to cure what ails us. Between the listings, Duke crams personal anecdotes from a lifetime of studying herbs, berries, and bark. For example, he relates how he worried about telling a pregnant niece that ginger could help alleviate her morning sickness because he'd learned from a pharmacologist that ginger could also induce miscarriage. Then he solved the mystery: he'd recommended ginger tea, which contains about 250 milligrams of ginger. The Chinese, he learned, use about 80 times that much to end pregnancies--another testimony to the amazing versatility of these natural medicines.
Book Description
The Green PharmacyMany diseased and conditions for which we turn to modern medicine can also be treated naturally with healing herbs, medicinal food, other natural remedies--and these treatments can be safer, less expensive and possibly even more effective than traditional methods. Let Dr. James Duke, the world's leading authority on healing herbs, leads you through the vast world of natural remedies--from Anise for Asthma to Violet for Varicose Veins, and everything in between. With just a few trips to the health-food store, the supermarket, or your own backyard--and with the help of Dr. Duke--you'll have everything you need to create your own Natural Medicine Cabinet.

An excellent natural remedy book!.......2007-04-16
This book has a lot of useful information about natural remedies and even how to make herbal tea yourself.
Illnesses are listed in alphabetical order with recommended natural remedies.
The Index has herbs etc..listed also in alphabetical order with page numbers for location.
Dr. Duke does provide words of caution where he feels it is neccessary.
I recommend this book. The price is very affordable and the book has an extensive list of natural remedies. This book is also very well organised.
complete herbal.......2007-03-08
This is the best book I could find and read concerning the herbal concoctions on the market today, but, make sure you get this book, not one of the many so named "green" books, there are many books out on this subject and some are very very similarily named. This book has almost all of the herbs listed and uses for them.I highly recommend it to herbal health persons.
Dr Duke has done it again!.......2007-02-20
My medicince cabinet has changed considerably since reading this book, it has become filled with herbal teas etc, with NO side effects. Thanks to the truth printed from these pages and Dr. Duke with his extensive research.

Basic information.......2007-08-05
Most of the information is a rehash of conventional mainstream thinking...which is often incorrect. i.e. dairy is great source of calcium. While technically correct, this source of calcium is not readily absorbed in the body. The author actually encourages a 50% carbohydrate diet for diabetics!
attia.......2007-04-11
This book is simply the best. It is categorized by food items. It is not technical. For example, you want to find out if grapes are good for you and why. you go to grapes. A quick summary tells you what grapes are good for in plain english, like reduce chol. lower blood pressue and so on. Then you can read more about that food item. There are kitchen recommendations of how to get the best of that food item.
All in plain english.
I highly recommend it.

Customer Reviews:
Best Stevia Recipe Book I've seen.......2007-10-06
Of the 3 Stevia cookbooks I own, this is my favorite. I would think that most people who want to use stevia, are looking for healthy too, and lower carb, not just how to replace sugar with stevia. He uses whole grains in his recipies, which are much lower on the glycemic index than their refined counter parts, making them good for diabetics and some less restrictive low carb diets. I was looking for a recipe for zucchini bread and none of the books had one, so I took his Oatmeal Banana Bread recipe and replaced the fruit with zucchini and it came out fantastic! I could do that because the basic recipe is sound. He gives a lot of info on stevia including the fact that you have to adjust it to your taste. He covers pretty much all the bases in this book, except as one person pointed out, the use of liquid stevia, other than to say that he prefers to use the powders to the liquid.
Not for low-carbers at all..........2007-10-01
Well, I was excited to get a better idea of how to use stevia more. Here is the value of the book for me: 1 cup sugar equals about 1 t. stevia extract. Hmmm. Everything in the book has flours and high-sugar fruits, or is so ridiculously simple that I already do it (ie lemonade or adding a touch of sweetness to a dressing or sauce). I adapted one pumpkin chiffon recipe fairly well, but that is all I will be making :-( I would have returned it right away but it wasn't worth it after shipping costs both ways...
Tried the Banana Bread Recipe.......2007-08-25
I've only tried one recipe so far but was amazed at the results. For this recipe I tried NuNaturals' NuStevia that really does have a less bitter taste than other forms of stevia I've tried. In the finished product I could not tell that the bread was made without sugar. I'm very excited about using this book for other recipes.
Wonderful!.......2007-08-06
This book is absolutely wonderful. I've tried 4 or 5 of the recipes, and all but one have turned out really well. The best thing about this book is that the recipes use whole-wheat and other healthy products (as opposed to other books I've seen that use the stripped all-purpose flour and other less-healthy alternatives). The book contains a good mix of recipe types--breakfasts, salads, dinners, and (the main reason I bought the book!) desserts.
If you are planning on using Stevia often, I highly recommend this book!
Observation of the author or HONEST NUTRITION.......2007-07-25
This author has a serious arithmetic deficiency resulting in sweet, SWEET, recipes. An oatmeal recipe uses 1/2 tsp of stevia extract, which at 200 times sweetness as claimed on the back cover, would be the equivalent of 100 tsp sugar. WOW! No, the 200 times is by weight, and stevia is a very light powder, but still that would be perhaps 20 times too much. The amount used for oatmeal is as much as I have used to sweeten a 3-quart pot of rhubarb. I use only sprinkles of stevia, not teaspoons.
Stevia leaf is listed as 10 to 15 times as sweeet as sugar, and extract at 150 to 300. Recipes call for three times as much leaf as extract. A tsp of extract is claimed equivalent to 1 cup of sugar, which figures out to be 48 times as sweet. Again, the difference would be partly explained by the lightness of stevia extract, with powdered leaf being somewhat heavier.
Many people use a liquid extract, not mentioned in this book, so they would need to make a guess at the equivalent amount to use.
Also not mentioned is that the most common source of stevia is the expensive packets in the grocery stores, which have a large amount of filler with a little stevia.
Not mentioned is the herbal flavor of the leaf, with a little still in the extract. This can be a problem, or an attractive new flavor. Unless covered by other strong flavors, stevia gives a different flavor.
With less stevia than called for, these recipes might be very good for people like me who are not super-sweetness addicts.

Book Description
An herbalist shows how to release the complete healing properties of plants by using ancient spagyric (alchemical) methods.
Customer Reviews:
One of the Finest Books Written.......2006-11-05
Junius' Practical Handbook of Plant Alchemy is one of the finest and most complete books on working with plants from an alchemical perspective (or spagyrics) available today. It is filled with information and experiments that will take years if not lifetimes to exhaust. Extensive instructions take you through the process of making tinctures, plant stones, elixirs, the plant magistry of Paracelsus, and the Lesser or Minor Circulation for the preperation of elixirs. All of the work can be done with a few pieces of easily obtained laboratory equipment that can be used with inexpensive electric or gas heating sources. It is a book you will want two copies of - one for your bookshelf and the second for your laboratory. Required reading - and doing - for anyone serious about undertaking an alchemical journey.
Guide to Spyragics.......2006-08-01
Originally published in Italian in 1985, this classic work deals with the spyragic process, by which, through separation, purification and recombination, a spyragist (parachemist, or alchemist, take your pick) enhances and amplifies the essential and intrinsic effects of an herb. While incorporating quite a bit of ayurvedic philosophy, it's still a text firmly rooted in Western alchemical techniques and practice, and walks the aspiring student through the spyragic process, step by step, along with herbal planetary correspondence tables which go quite a bit beyond the over-simplified Cabbalistic correspondences of the current New Age stream of thought.
The equipment specified for practice is, indeed, bona fide scientific apparati, which causes some concern on the part of other readers as to the expense. However, Dr. Junius was indeed a scientist, and head of research at various labs and technical institutes, and therefore chose to rely on precise, quality apparati. While there may be some applications of the spyragic processes detailed within that could be performed "on the cheap", by and large the higher the quality, precision and applicability of the instrument, the better the resultant spyragic. I would highly recommend that any aspiring spyragist (or alchemist) do a brief web search for discount laboratory equipment suppliers. There is an abundance out there, and for a few hundred dollars the enhanced results are definitely worth it.
alchemy or spagyric?.......2006-02-16
I havent read this book, but I am very doubful, if this really about alchemy. I heard, that laboratory equipment, that author proposes, is very expensive and thats not a case of alchemy. Alchemy in its essence need very simple and nonexpensive instruments. There exist fundamental difference between spagyrics and alchemy and that fact many people dont realize.
Worthy of your time.......2005-04-25
I recently began taking some natural medicines along with my husband, so I thought I would try making my own. Though I am still in the early stages, I feel confident that The Practical Handbook of Plant Alchemy has given me a solid base from which to start.
Great book. Worthy of anyone's time that is interested in learning more about the different types of herbs out there, what they do and how to create your own daily supplements.
Great book, top flight, thumbs up.......2005-01-25
This book systematically presents both the theory and philosophy of spagyrics and the corporeal application of said philosophy in an accesible proletarian manner, perfectly fit for the lay-seeker who isn't attuned to the sometimes involute terminology that attends dated alchemical manscripts. There are countless exserts from spagyric texts from such illustrious illumined exponents as Johannes Isaac Hallandus, Paracelsus, Basilius Valentinus (and more) which are generally followed by a delicatessen recapitulation by Manfred M. Junius, who breaks it down into manageable simple terms. Don't despair, for those tyros going into this book not knowing a lick of the ideas and axioms of the alchemical work will most unequivocally come out transmuted into knowledgable cognoscente of the natural science of Khem. Rove hand-in-hand with Paracelsus collecting morning dew from the manorial sward of your higher genius.

Customer Reviews:
This is a must have in your herbal library.......2007-09-23
Anyone interested in herbalism in any way needs to read this book. Susun is most definately a grandmother of herbalism to the next generations that follow the herbal ways.
Susun is delightful in her writing and is also very public about everything she writes about. Truly teaching us about the herbs themselves and how to apply them.
I got a bit confused on her way of describing dandelion in her french accent writing about the plant, but now that I have been exposed to a french teacher, I am more comfortable with understanding this section of the book and should re read it.
But that is Susun's playful style and how the plants are in relation to her.
If you practice herbalism in any degree, this is a must have book.
Healing Wise .......2007-07-16
Wise Woman Herbal: Healing Wise looks at health and healing from a completely different perspective than any other resource I've ever consulted. Instead of looking at illness as something needing medication (as in western scientific medicine) or as the result of some sort of bodily imbalance (as in traditional eastern medicine), this book looks at illness as an opportunity.
At first, I have to admit that this concept sounded really strange to me. What sort of opportunity is suffering from Chronic Fatigue or having to deal with the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis? However, as I continued through the thorough and easy to understand explanations of the wise woman tradition, I began to understand more about the principles behind optimum nourishment.
Basically, this concept requires that we learn to take care of, accept, learn from and love ourselves at every point in our life process. To do so, brings about change and further opportunities to nourish our being. Thus, if we have an illness in the traditional sense, then we need to take the opportunity to learn about ourselves and fully nurture our being before we can ever hope to release the seemingly negatives aspects of the situation.
Wise Woman Herbal: Healing Wise has me intrigued with the wise woman tradition. I find the concept of a spiral healing pattern (as opposed to the linear pattern of western medicine and the circular pattern of traditional eastern medicine) fascinating. I also like that this book gave me a distinctly different way to think about my health. I am extremely eager to learn more about this tradition.
Healing Wise (Wise Woman Herbal Series).......2007-01-05
Great book, good author.
Just what I was looking for
Back to Basics.......2006-09-13
This is a wonderful book filled with wisdom and love. The author has presented the reader with a simple, clear cut, and hands on approach to herbalism. The reader is presented with the 3 traditions of healing, scientific, heroic, and wisewoman. After reading this book I decided to get involved in naturopathic medicine and stay clear of the scientific and heroic traditions of healing. Susun Weed has such an apporach to her writing, reading the book makes you feel like she is by your side guiding your hand as you prepare your simples. This is truly a book to cherish through out the years.
Excellent Grass Roots Reference.......2006-08-11
Susun Weed is the BOMB. I especially appreciated the quick response to the questions I posted at the website when I used her recipes for making tinctures. There is something to be said for her stance on no licensing for herbalists. She holds no certifications having had her education in herbalism in a life long pursuit of the path. I would trust her word over a certified herbalist any day simply because she practices and lives by what she writes about. A wonderful resource for those of us growing older. I am ten years post hysterectomy and the ovaries are starting to fluctuate. The tinctures that she profiles in this book went a long way to addressing the specific complaints I was having without having to go look for 'menopause' formulas. Supplementing the things your body needs as its ability to produce them naturally declines will go a long way towards easing the transition into Cronehood.
Buy the book, it's wonderfully informative AND entertaining. Get all her other books while you're at it!

Customer Reviews:
The best book I have seen on this subject.........2007-08-16
Although this book is small if you look at the others closely they are full of general health info that is used to bulk them up to (ahem) 'Encyclopedic' proportions. Stop eating all simple sugars including lactose, take some healing herbs, prepare to feel like crap for several weeks while WWIII rages inside your body. Two or three months later you feel amazing!! So far I've lost 20 pounds of fat and only need 6 hours sleep instead of my usual 11. Pretty much a miracle. Try it.
Boring!.......2006-11-03
This book was so dry and so boring. It was very clinical. I was hoping for a list of the sypmtoms of candidiasis and some helpful suggestions on how to control the condition. Most of the book was not helpful or useful to me.
Excellent resource.......2006-08-27
The book is an excellent choice for anyone interest in the subject. I've bought and read 4 books on this subject (Complete Candida Yeast Guidebook by Jeanne Marie Martin, The Candida Albicans Yeast Free Cookbook by Pat Connolly, The Yeast Connection Cookbook by William Crook) but this one is the most conscise and yet it's offering all the answers. Dr. Murray offers a lot of suggestions on the diet and natural supplements that are essential for good health and boosting up an immune system. Medicine alone did not help me but combining the medicine with the diet recommendations found in this book showed results.
I disagree.......2006-07-28
I bought this book since everyone was giving it 5 stars. The first part of the book was o.k., but then, it got into way too much detail. I found the descriptions of the cells, lymphs and technical names for every enzyme pretty boring. I had to make myself finish reading it. Buy it if you want to read every detail of the immune system. If you are like me and need something more basic, look on.
Chronic Candidiasis by Michael Murray.......2005-10-19
This book was easy to read. Information was comprehensive. Instructions were simple to follow. Good organization of steps to follow in order to accomplish the elimination of candida. It's up to the reader to implement them. I recommend this book even if your familiar with this problem.
