I LOVE this book! I have read it three times, and each time it strengthens my knowledge of life and the Universe even more. Deepak gives scientific and spiritual information on how to live your life according to what your soul wants, therefore fulfilling your most powerful life desires the instant you ask for them. It really does work, and I consider this to be the most valuable of all the spiritual self help books I have bought to date! Buy it, you won't regret it.

Since 1995, I have listened to and read Deepak Chopra's books, tapes and CD's. Since I have TOTALLY enjoyed the tapes so well, I have upgraded to Dr. Chopra's CD audiobooks. This audiobook was patterned after my favorite audio book on tape by Dr. Chopra "Syroniticy". These tapes were listened to so many times that I just about wore the tapes out. So I ordered this CD set The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire", and I was even more impressed. It is very much like the original set of tapes, however, more updated and is again, as always, so inpirational! This is a must have set of CD's for any Deepak Chopra reader or listner!

Deepka Chopra wrote the book long before Rhonda Byrne's wrote "The Secret."
I admire Chopra's belief that if we go with the flow of the Universe and listen and look for clues that appear all around us, we will have a happier and more fulfilled life. However, he doesn't claim that if you visualize getting a diamond necklace, you will get one. "The Secret" is hogwash.

I bought this book and put the meditations into practice almost 3 years ago. As I look back, I can see that once I focused on what I wanted, I got much of it.
I wanted children.. a boy and then a girl. I got exactly that. A boy and now a girl. Coincidence? I don't know.

I've just been introduced to Joel Goldsmith recently (not to be confused with Joeseph Goldstein); and the Infinite Way is probably the place to start - short, clear, powerful. No doubt in my mind that the "Infinite Invisible" works through this man. My soul has been stirred.
A review for the ACIM student. .......2005-12-08
The following is a review of THE INFINITE WAY for A COURSE IN MIRACLES students. If you are not then it may not be helpful.
I consider A COURSE IN MIRACLES to be a continuation of Joel S Goldsmith's THE
INFINITE WAY (I am using this as a term for his entire teaching, not just this book). Joel died just months before Helen Schucman began scribing ACIM. I like to think of Joel helping out in some way with A COURSE IN MIRACLES on the other side of the veil. In ACIM, the principles of the Infinite Way are further developed and given depth and sophistication. Of course, this is all my humble opinion.
That said, I got this off of facim.org:

A: Because all authentic spiritual teachings are leading in the same direction -- towards an experience of oneness which transcends the false self, the finite ego -- it is very likely that similarities and parallels in content can often be identified between paths. Certainly that can be said for the teachings of Joel S. Goldsmith and A Course in Miracles . Both, for example speak of our real existence as spirit, that the material world is an illusion and the body is merely an idea that expresses what is in the mind, that error or sickness is in the mind and not in the body, and that healing is the result of correcting a false belief in the mind.
And yet there are differences. For example, Joel Goldsmith speaks of God as Consciousness expressing itself. The Course, in contrast, speaks of consciousness as "the first split introduced into the mind after the separation" (T.3.IV.2:1) . The Holy Spirit, the Voice for God in the dream according to the Course, is more nearly equivalent to the concept of Consciousness that Goldsmith refers to in his teachings. In addition, Goldsmith speaks of God as the life, mind, body, and substance of individual being, and of the body as existing as the idea of God. And therefore, we will never be without conscious awareness of the body, nor without the body. The Course, in contrast, views the body as the embodiment of the ego's wish that the separation be real (W.pI.72.2:1,2,3) , and teaches that the body nevertheless can be give a different purpose, that of healing and forgiveness, under the Holy Spirit's guidance. The body then will simply disappear from the mind once its usefulness to the Holy Spirit for healing is complete. And the emphasis of the Course, therefore, on looking at the ego and its thoughts of hatred and attack and guilt, is simply not reflected in Goldsmith's approach.
This is not to say that one is right and the other is wrong -- they are merely different. For as Jesus reminds us near the end of the Course, "A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary. It is this experience toward which the course is directed" (C.in.2:5,6) . To the extent that both teachings lead us to release all of our preconceptions about how things should be, what our physical and emotional lives should be like, and any effort to control the external to achieve our personal goals, they are both fostering a nonjudgmental acceptance, which is what the Course means by forgiveness. And so both would be leading us toward the same universal experience.
Although addressed to the issue of different teachings on the Course itself, Question #48 provides a helpful perspective on thinking about the relationship of the Course to other spiritual paths, such as Goldsmith's."
The Infinite Way does not have the psychological component of ACIM, yet what it does have is the love of a man whose very presence was a blessing upon this planet.
I came back to Joel's work after being diagnosed with a serious illness and cannot even begin to express in words the healing (that is a rising in consciouness) I am still experiencing, much less the deepening of my work with A Course in Miracles.
The Infinite Teacher.......2005-02-23
The thing about Joel Goldsmith is that once you read one of his books you must read every one of his books. They're addictive in their wisdom. As former Editor of Science of Mind magazine and a spiritual counselor for many years, I've read every Goldsmith book (several times) and quoted them many times. I remember scouring the Bodhi Tree looking for his books years ago when some of them were out of print. Thankfully, all the books are available again. (There are also tapes of his early talks). I lean on the wisdom of The Infinite Way so often that I'd be lost without it. Joel Goldsmith was (and still is) a spiritual giant, always in integrity and prepared to teach us to live a thrilling spiritual life. You'll be so happy to discover this book. I highly recommend this book. It is considered one of his classic works, setting and excellent basis -- the foundation and principles of the "Infinite Way".
Once you read one of Goldsmith's books, you will find yourself naturally looking at things in life in a different manner, your thoughts, attitudes and responses to life events will begin to change, you will be drawn to read other works by this incredible man. The more of his books that you read, the more the principles he lays out and the essence of the "Christ Consciousness" comes into clearer view and, slowly, more ingrained in your own consciousness. It is no wonder that other reknowned authors of our day, such as Wayne Dyer, refer to Joel Goldsmith's works in their own. This man was evidently a man of great spiritual fortitude, and discipline, insight, wisdom and grace. A Lover of God, a Seeker of the His Kingdom. If these are attributes you are in search off, or in the process of developing in your life -- you'll love this book and it will transport you to another level.
Of an even greater spiritual impact (at least for me) is his: "Man Was Not Born to Cry"!!! (see my review if you are interested).
And for those who may be interested in modern scientific thought(research based)that serves to explain much of what the mystics and spiritual masters have been telling us throughout the ages read: David R. Hawkins: "Power versus Force" - POWERFUL!!! After reading this one you will have to take less "on faith" or "trust", and more "on knowing" -- quite helpful for that part of our brain (left) that tends to inject doubts, or conclude that "Truths" are too lofty, romantic, philosophical and idealistic, but not practical or part of the "real world". See the paradigm shift that has been taking place within modern science. Quite soon the two -- science and spirituality -- may very well end up where they were always intended to be -- in bed with one another, in union and close affiliation, as complements, not adversaries. Favorite Deepak Chopra Book and a Favorite Overall.......2007-06-05
This is a must buy for anyone who enjoys reading books with a slant towards "getting what you want", "law of attraction" types and "new age" or spiritual type self help books.
This book deals specifically with "coincidence", describing how many people don't realize there are reasons behind these synchronistic experiences. This book informs you how these events are not JUST coincidence, and how there are ways to fulfill your desires and create the life you want by paying attention and acting on them.
The writing is an easy comfortable read, is very much in-depth and there are suggested exercises for those who like to put action to what they read.

This is a must buy. I have read only four of this author's many books, but this is my favorite by far. I have re-read it many times.
This book is very in-depth and is just as applicable for a "newbie" to this genre or someone who has "read them all".

Ahh, coincidences...........2007-03-21
This is one of my most dog-earred books. Long before the so-called-secret came around, Dr. DeePak Chopra was writing about the science of vibrational levels, about the frequency of objects, about the power of thought and meditation. For many decades Dr. Chopra has lived the life, walked the talk and written the volumes from the most acceptable viewpoint of a scientist. He seems to be ahead of his times with a large portion of the planet certainly coming to the same focus. This book truly is an act of courage and an act of love. The reader will ponder life from a wonderfully fresh perspective, and will soon realize there is no such thing as coincidence. Coincidence is but a mirror we draw to us through our individual frequencies of the law of attraction. This book deserves far more stars than 5!

This book is for everybody. I do not believe in absolute truth, but the truth that comes out of Chopra in this book points to absolutely every intricate piece of my life. As a psychotherapist, I suggest this as reading to almost all of my clients regardless of their beliefs. This book will enhance your perceptions of what is real and suggest to you the fact that there always has been room for "you" to "breathe."

Begin to use your mind.......2007-04-28
This book is a great start to beginning to learn how to use the power of your mind to tap into wealth. There are a lot of personal short stories that illustrate the text. It could have been written a bit better, but I understand that this work was written in the sixties. Then, the flow of the grammar for this type of work may not have been as critical as it is today. Overall, this book is a great primer for those beginning to harness the power of right thoughts.
By far, the most life-changing book ...for me........2007-04-11
I enjoyed this book for so many reasons. I was directed to this book by someone as they sent out a list of books for recommendation, and I'm happy I followed the tug that pushed me to get this book in particular. I read this book long before the whole Oprah and "The Secret" episode. This book has tied in so many concepts for me and opened my eyes to new meaning on Biblical passages I've struggled with for years. I highly recommend this book for anyone ready to dig deep to their core of beliefs. Only there will you find the answers with the help of this book. For me, this book rang true with my Spirit. I've even taken it upon myself to buy this book for many of my friends and family. I keep an extra copy on hand so whenever I'm lead to pass it along, I can. All I can say is if you feel lead to this book, it's definitely for a reason. I've seen immediate and longterm results from implementing this book into my life. As it's done for me, it will do for you as well. All I can say is, read and enjoy!

The $tartling Truth About $upply.......2006-09-23
My parents were both depression era children so they grew up with a lot of beliefs and ideas about money that were not exactly empowering to say the least. Money was scarce and limited, money didn't grow on trees, there was always more going out than coming in, and so on...and this was their experience which was also mine because they raised me with these beliefs and I accepted them because why on Earth would my parents lie to me.
The fact is, they wouldn't have. They just didn't really know any better. I firmly believe that we are all doing the best we can with what we know. But even though I still believed these limited beliefs about money, there was something in the back of my soul that knew that money was something much, much more...that these little slips of paper were just representations of something else...I didn't exactly know how to put it into words but thank God for Joseph Murphy because he did in this great and wonderful book on prosperity.
All money really is a consciousness...an awareness...simply put, if you are thinking scarcity and limiting thoughts, you will create situations where your supply will be scarce and limited. I'll give you a little story that kind of embarrasses me, but taught me a valuable lesson about prosperity and abundance. About 20 years ago when I was just in my early 20s, I received an insurance settlement from a car accident I had and I received two sizeable inheritances from my grandfather and my great-aunt. All told, I had about $75,000 at one time. My beliefs about money were along these lines, "I spend money like there's a hole in my pocket", "easy come, easy go", "I don't deserve to feel happy"...the last one was never really spoken outloud, but I really did feel this way about myself and about my life.
Well, I saw that $75,000 sitting in my bank account and there was really only one thing I saw myself doing with it; and that was to spend it as fast as possible. It did not make me feel comfortable, I did not look it as a blessing, I looked at it as something that I needed to get rid of as soon as I could because I had to keep the belief of "I never have enough" valid and working in my life. It took me approximately six months to get down to $3.56 in my checking account....."Ahhhhhh...I feel so much better now..."
But now i know the truth about myself and about money. I know that I am deserving. I know that I am worthy. I know that money flows freely and easily. I know that there is always more than enough and yeah, money does seem to come to me in wonderful and unexpected ways. I have yet to receive a huge chunk of cash like I did 20 years ago, but who knows, maybe one day I will and now that I have a "prosperity consciousness" I will be better guided and directed to use my money in more empowering ways.

I've bought and read hundreds of books from Amazon. This is my first review. What Bob Sanford has written is exceptional!. Extremely readable, interesting, entertaining, and profound. I highly recommend buying and absorbing this book.

This is the kind of book you pull off the library shelf because the title is outrageous. "There is no way a book could live up to that title," you think to yourself. That is exactly what I did. I opened the cover and discovered a delightful and insightful book about life, and finance. I have read many books of advice on how to invest, and this I have to admit is the best most useful book I have read on that topic both for beginning investors, and for the seasoned. The book is ostensibly about how to manage your affairs if you are trying to win the Lottery. Mr Sanford covers alot of territory here, and includes excellent advice on issues relating to the Lotto, and if you would win, and if you would not win which is more likely! It's a fun book. Don't miss it!

After reading about this book from another source, I decided to purchase it. It talks about Infinite Love and Gratitude, used in healing. It does not tell specifically how to do it. This book is more like a positive thinking seminar. I ended up returning it, since it's not what I expected.

Another piece of the puzzle.......2007-10-01
Over the past decade or so I have read a number of Stuart's books, and this one is by far my favorite for two reasons. First, he addresses a number of metaphysical subjects in very enertaining and informative way. Second, he brings some humor to the discussions that at times made me laugh out loud. I remember that distinctly because the first time I read it I was on an overnight flight from Chicago to Rome, and the flight attendant actually had to ask me to stop laughing so loud!
Is this a good book for someone new to the spiritual path? Probably not, because Stuart is at times pretty far out there on the "metaphysical curve." However, in my view it sure is a good title for anyone who has been walking this path for a spell, and that's why I include it as a "must read" in the recommended reading section of my own book.
Another Great Master Piece by Stuart Wilde.......2007-04-16
I absolutely love this book. The way I used it was to read one of the 33 Steps every morning and think about them and incorporate them into my day. The steps vary from not defending something, to philosophical discipline, to centering the mind. Taoism at it's finest. Highly recommended.
Trust Your Feeling.......2007-01-15
A self-help book based on taoism, spiritual, very easy to read and applicable. It made me very calm while reading it and I related to the author's views of spirituality as not something institutional and external. It offers very interesting advice on how to control your ego and live a more fulfilling life.
Great Read.......2006-04-17
This book is entertaining as well as thought provoking. It discusses our ability to transform our lives by detaching from our insane egoistic demands. It brings us back to reality which is the unitary consciousness. Wilde writes in a stimulating, humorous, and simple manner which helps in the readers ability to apply the principles discussed in the book. This is one of the 12 books I suggest in my own book due to the inspiration it has provided in my life. Highly recommended if you choose to transcend the ego and enjoy true and lasting peace and tranquility in your life.

Stuart Wilde is an interesting bloke. He has a knack of conveying timeless wisdom and deep spiritual truths in a very casual, conversational manner. He also describes new slants on traditional wisdom in a refreshing way. The meat of Wilde's teachings will provide great fodder for the soul for those who are ready.
Personally, I'm not convinced that Wilde has reached this particular level of spiritual advancement via a natural process of growth, i.e. via many lifetimes on earth. He seems too much of a scally, and I suspect that his psychic faculties have opened somewhat prematurely in this lifetime. Some of his suggestions and ideas are simply not wise. For example, Wilde suggests that if we work in an office then it's a good idea to turn up to the office every now and again dressed as a chicken. He claims that this would affirm the point that `I am a free spiritual being with no restrictions; I am who I am' etc.
Even though I disagree with Wilde's view that dressing as a chicken to work is a good thing, (the inner experience is what really counts, and we can achieve this regardless of what we wear, and without trying to prove a point externally), this wayward aspect of Wilde's attitude is what makes him so unique and intriguing. In this book, such views are outweighed by profound wisdom and deep spiritual truth, and overall it's a read for anyone significantly advanced along the path.

More powerful wisdom from Joseph Murphy.......2005-12-27
I have several books by Joseph Murphy and each one is a little different as is this one. Miracle Power for Infinite Riches is an intriquing title and another OUTSTANDING FIVE STAR ***** Book by Joseph Murphy.
Miracel Power is 245 pages, has many stories, but a lot of information, a quick chapter review and a meditation to go with each chapter summarizing the information in each chapter.
Can't recommend this book highly enough.
Repetition is the mother of skill..........2002-03-22
Repeating, that is what this book does. And by repetition you can get things in your subconscious mind. Have you ead "The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind" (what I recommend) than this book is full of the stories you're already familiar with. A small difference: in this book are more quotes from the Bible.
My sugestion? Buy "The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind" instead.
A get rich for sure book - immediate results.......2001-03-15
This book gets right to the root of where to acquire real wealth-from the Almighty. The Bible says; God, who giveth us richly, all things to enjoy (I Timothy 6:17)I enjoyed chapter 2-How to Tap the Miracle Power That Makes You Rich at Once. In the Bible, it says' If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23)It is true that whatever you believe and concieve you can also achieve. This book by Joe Murphy shows you how.The book is full of Biblical quotes and meditations. It gets you thinking right. I saw results immediately.I also recommend Business Buy the Bible by Wade Cook and Creating Money by Roman and Packer. This is not get rich quick; it is get rich for sure and with Divine Guidance.Great book. A must read only if you want to reach maximum succe$$.

Dr Murphy explains how to cultivate a prosperity consciousness by drawing on the miracle power of the subconscious mind. Examples from real life illustrate the various methods and there is a prosperity meditation at the end of each chapteer. He deals with the power of faith (belief), effective prayer (when asking, it is important to believe that it is already done), forgiveness, imaging (thought forms), affirmation (e.g. "God is with my thoughts of good"), right thinking, the psychic treasure map and other tried and trusted methods. The advice is very practical, using simple formulas and techiques that everyone can practice. He has a very engaging style and the book is a pleasure to read and can also serve as a handy reference work. I highly recommend all of Dr Murphy's books, but especially The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind as an all-round guide to living a fuller, happier life.

A masterpiece that won't be able to transcend time..........2006-03-22
This is not the book it purports to be. The rights to the book were bought by another company and the book was rewritten so much that the book is unrecognizable. I bought this as a reading copy to the older original version of the book(A 3rd edition from 1908). Man, was that a mistake. DON'T BY THIS BOOK! it's not the original, it's a travesty.
Slight Correction.......2001-02-25I agree with Peter's review but I have one minor correction. I have in my possession a copy of this book dating from 1897. It is great!

"In Tune With The Infinite: Fullness of Peace, Power and Plenty" is a book about the essence of the existence of mankind. And Mr. Ralph Waldo Trine couldn't be any more precise in explaining this when he said that, "The great central fact in human life, in your life and mine, is the coming into a conscious, vital realization of our oneness with this Infinite Life, and the opening of ourselves fully to this divine inflow". Based on some of Mr. Waldo's precepts, man is created to the image of the Infinite and by this grace begets the power to control his own dominion. We are ONE with It and therefore all connected to one another. For this reason, the cause and effects of our actions toward others will always reflect back. This book is soothing not only for the spirit and the soul but also for the body. Because of its profound ideas it may seem hard to read at first but as you begin to understand its words, it flows gently into one's mind. This book has helped me change my life. In tune with the Infinite. I highly recommend it to all readers.
WONDERFUL WORDS OF WISDOM.......2000-07-10
Eternal truths are presented here in an appealing manner -- it's hard to believe this book was first published in 1908. It's full of spiritual insight and raises one's consciousness. Provides the fundamentals for a fresh and joyful outlook upon life and living. As such, a successful attempt to articulate that which is often considered ineffable and unutterable, the illumination of spiritual forces accessible by everyone. Many thoughts are expressed in short poems and this adds a lot to the reading pleasure, e.g.: "...the waters know their own, and draw/the brooks that spring in yonder height/so flows the good with equal law/unto the soul of pure delight." Words of wisdom wonderfully written.
