All children want reassurance that their parents' love runs wide and deep. In Guess How Much I Love You, a young rabbit named Little Nutbrown Hare thinks he's found a way to measure the boundaries of love. In a heartwarming twist on the "I-can-do-anything-you-can-do-better" theme, Little Nutbrown Hare goes through a series of declarations regarding the breadth of his love for Big Nutbrown Hare. But even when his feelings stretch as long as his arms, or as high as his hops, Little Nutbrown Hare is fondly one-upped by the elder rabbit's more expansive love.
Anita Jeram's illustrations are bound to elicit an "aw" from even the sternest of readers; these loving rabbits are expressive, endearing, and never cloying. In turn, Sam McBratney tells a simple bedtime story of sweet familial love with humor, insight, and a delightful surprise at the end. Children and parents will love snuggling up for this one--a treat to be read again and again, just before the lights are turned out. (Click to see a sample spread. Text © 1994 by Sam McBratney. Book Description
The American Booksellers Book of the Year nominee is available as a sturdy board book for the youngest of children. Little Nutbrown Hare wants to show Big Nutbrown Hare how very much he loves him - but love as big as his is very hard to measure!

For new baby.......2007-09-22
The first time I heard of this book was in my childbirth class. I loved it so much I had to buy it. I'm hoping it will become one of my baby's favorite books.
Good all-around baby book.......2007-09-19
I bought this baby book based on the reviews and the fact that Guess How Much I Love You is one of my favorite children's books. The book does a nice job of asking enough questions to make a complete record for your baby without being overly burdensome. Some of the other books I looked at seriously asked what the weather was on the day you found out your were pregnant. Seriously, who would care about that? This baby book also gives great suggestions for a few pictures which is helpful--like the place to put a picture of you pregnant. I am very pleased.
Don't Like the Message.......2007-09-15
I know many people love this book. I don't know why. We received one as a gift, and after reading it to my daughter, I was disturbed by the story. I felt sorry for the bunny whose parent invalidated his expression of love on each page. As many other reviewers said, it was a competition the adult wouldn't let the child win. This book contains a mean-spirited, misguided, sad, and disturbing message.
Family favorite.......2007-08-01
"Guess how much I love you" is a classic. The story is a simple dialog between a big rabbit (the parent) and a little rabbit (the baby), each professing and comparing the depth & "height" of their love for each other. We read this book almost every day to our infant daughter. She loves the watercolor illustrations & coos at the pictures. A lovely addition to a kid' book collection.
Wonderful - this really is a very good book.......2007-07-24
This is a fabulous book for little children and the grownups who read to them. When children are read to daily, they learn to love reading. Perfect bedtime stories, to calm everyone down and make us ready for sweet dreams. If you can find the LARGE size book get it- they're fabulous keepsakes. Perfect gifts for any child, and a perfect tradition in your own home and family!

Strong Reading.......2007-10-11
I am a pastor and father of four daughters. Meekers' work delivers blow after blow of important instructions.
Our society desperately needs dads that are connected. So much of what she uncovers, we see reularly in adult counseling. Dad's can have such an great impact.
I stocked our church bookstore with this book, and have been telling other dad's who have girls,... get this book and read it.
ATTENTION: If you have a daughter you must read!!!!!!!.......2007-10-11
I cannot believe how this book affected my relationship with my daughters. I thought I new what was going on with them! This book tells you what your daughter is thinkig and how to react and what to do in certain situations. It will make you a better father instantly! Very well written and easy to read. A Total Eye Opener!!!
Fathers & Daughters.......2007-09-30
This is an excellent book written by a medical doctor, who shows the supreme importance of a Dad in the life of a daughter. He is vital to her development as a girl and a woman. It took me back to my own relationship with my daughter, who now has her Ph.D. and is a psychologist. After I read the book, and I found myself hungry for each chapter, I am sending the book to my son, who has a young daughter himself.
Fathers need to read this book.......NOW!.......2007-09-28
Don't waste time , read this book as soon as you recieve it! Buy it now!
Very inisightful book.......2007-09-26
This book has been wonderful. I only wish i had read it years ago when all three of my daughters were young (2 r college age now). I now see how many of my defects/wrong assumptions in parenting set the stage for a lot of the heart ache that we went through with my older two daughters. It now makes sense to me and i know how to address the problem going forward. I can not recommmend this book highly enough for every father who wants his daughter to thrive and not struggle to survive. It opened my eyes to how different my daughter's world is from what i knew as a kid. And to how if i do not father her, there is a culture that is desperately trying to teach her that what is important is looking like Paris Hilton, partying, being promiscuous, etc .... The issue is whether i surrender her to that or protect and nurture her. Thanks to Dr. Meeker.

Finally—A Pregnancy Book That Won't Put Men to Sleep
My Boys Can Swim! tells real men everything they really want to know about pregnancy, such as: How much is it going to cost? Why does your wife primp before seeing her doctor when she hasn't put a stitch of make-up on for you in months? And, most important, what's it going to do to your sex life?
This rollicking, laugh-out-loud book is for expectant dads in search of bottom-line pregnancy information, without all that boring touchy-feely stuff you find in those books written for women. Inside you'll discover helpful—and hilarious—information and insights on such topics as:
The Maternity Wardrobe: "A key part of the maternity wardrobe is maternity underwear—parachute-like undies big enough to fit an NFL defensive lineman."
Baby Names: "Don't give your kids mockable names like Thaddeus, which is Greek for 'I'm a dork and should be beaten up.'"
The Birth: "No one told me it's normal that babies' heads can be misshapen at birth. I was convinced that my wife gave birth to Veldar, the conehead."
Customer Reviews:
Perfect book for dads-to-be.......2007-09-24
My husband used to read books all the time. But now only has time for things about the length of a newspaper or magazine article. This book is really short and funny. So it keeps his attention enough to actually be informed as to what is going on. He reads a little at a time while things progress. And has laughed out-loud on a couple of occasions.
Best book for new dads!.......2007-09-18
My husband LOVED this book. It's written from a husband's point of view which is hilarious. While it doesn't provide tons of medical info, it gives just enough for my husband to understand some of what I'm going through. Each night he read some of it outloud so we could both enjoy it. The humor in the book was great and it has helped him realize that neither of us is going crazy...all of this is normal. I definitely recommend this book to any dad. They will certainly enjoy it!
Great for the father to be.......2007-09-16
My husband enjoyed this book and learning about what to expect. The humor in it is great and the topics are right on target in each trimester. My husband kept telling me what he learned from the book.
For dumb dads.......2007-09-13
This was a totally dumbed down book. My husband actually likes being a father and was insulted by this book. This is for a dad who likes to sit on the couch, drink beers, and not do stuff with his kids. Sorry book.
yeah...whatever.......2007-08-23
The author tries to have that cute "Dave Barry" thing but instead just plays on old stereotypes that all guys do is watch football and don't know thing about women's bodies or what happens with a pregnancy. My wife and I are expecting our first child and I was thinking this may be informative. Instead it was a quick, one day read with jokes that wouldn't even be funny enough for Mad Magazine on a bad day. Sorry, but this one wasn't for me and felt like a waste of money.

Customer Reviews:
Nice gift for first-time daddy.......2007-10-04
I purchased this as a gift for the father of an expectant friend. He was touched to have received something for himself and thrilled to have a resource on what he can expect and how he can help out through what is a first-time experience for the both of them. A unique gift idea and useful knowledge for the first-time daddy.
Overwrought.......2007-10-02
This book is too much. I think the best example of how far out this book is comes near the end when the author talks about strategies for salvaging the placenta so you can have some kind of ceremony with it later on.
The "Be Prepared" book is much better to read, entertaining, gets the information out there, and isn't overwrought like this one.
GOOD READING FOR THE NEW DAD!.......2007-08-26
As a pediatrician, I think this easy to read book is a "must have" for the new dad. I love the format of this book and helps future dads feel like they have some idea on what to expect and how to avoid some important parenting issues. Bravo! AVOIDING THE 15 BIGGEST MISTAKES PARENTS MAKE: A PEDIATRICIAN'S PERSPECTIVE
Good for the father (and the mother!).......2007-07-30
This is the first pregnancy book I've read, and while I'm not a man, I thought it was immensely helpful. The author follows the normal stages of pregnancy, from morning sickness to swollen ankles to delivery and beyond and discusses them in a sensitive and helpful manner. Some of the topics are ones that are best discussed BEFORE conception (for example, money), but overall, he hits them as they would come into play during an actual pregnancy. However, the book is best read at one time, not month-by-month as a pregnancy progresses.
The author has two children whom he loves very much, and he makes a lot of mention about how men are stereotyped as babysitters instead of parents. He's also from San Francisco and makes several mentions to environmental concerns, which may be irritating to readers, as they occasionally come off as excessive. Aside from that, this book is very helpful and will help the father feel more involved in the pregnancy. Recommended reading for both parents.
Great resource for dads from a dad.......2007-07-12
I bought this book for myself when my wife and I were starting to think about having children and it stayed with me thorough the entire pregnancy.
The month by month sections are great to read and they provide not only advice about what is going on with the baby, but also what is going with you and with your partner.
It has a great balance to it and with resources and an index in the back; it works wonders as a quick go-to guide.
My wife loved that I had it because I was informed and she appreciated how the format not only got me in the loop as to what was going on with her, but also looked at some issues that I might be thinking about.
A great book, and I've just bought the second one (1st year) so I can continue the series.
Good luck to all you future and fellow parents!

Book Description
Trixie, Daddy, and Knuffle Bunny take a trip to the neighborhood Laundromat. But the exciting adventure takes a dramatic turn when Trixie realizes somebunny was left behind . . . Using a combination of muted black-and-white photographs and expressive illustrations, this stunning book tells a brilliantly true-to-life tale about what happens when Daddys in charge and things go terribly, hilariously wrong. Mo Willems is a six-time Emmy Awardwinning writer and former animator for Sesame Street, and the creator of Cartoon Networks Sheep in the Big City. Both his first book for children, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and his fourth book Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale won prestigious Caldecott Honors from the American Library Association. The New York Times has called him "the biggest new talent to emerge thus far in the 00's". Mo lives with his family in Brooklyn, New York.
Customer Reviews:
Knuffle Bunny.......2007-10-13
This story really hits home for all children who have a special toy that they can't "live" without. My Granddaughter can't hear this story (as well as its follow up) enought times. How cute!
hilarious.......2007-10-02
I read Knuffle Bunny for my children's literature class and I literally laughed out loud from it. The pictures are comical and perfectly expressive and Trixie is a riot. Mo Willems truly encaptured the actions/behavior of a child in such a situation in Trixie...going boneless....genius. Every child should read this book. I highly reccommend it.
A Book to Appeal to All Ages.......2007-09-11
On a whim, I checked this book out of the library this summer for my youngest son, who is five. When I read it to him, we were both delighted. We laughed our heads off and read it three times back to back. I then brought it home and read it to my two older children, ages 12 and 8. They also thought it was hilarious. My 12 year old actually read it several more times that evening. Later that night, my husband and I read it and laughed over the illustrations. This is the classic story of parents and children everywhere. We could identify with both the parent and the child who lost the "lovey."
A huge thumbs up from our whole family.
If you love to hear your children laugh read this book.......2007-08-19
This is a fast read and it makes my daughters ages 2 and 7 laugh so hard every time they hear it. The art doesn't appeal to me personally but my kids seem to enjoy it. I enjoy the story. I don't see it as " a child misbehaving 90% of the book". I laugh at how parents misunderstand children and every suffer for it. Have to sign off because the girls are insisting I read this book right now because it is "hilarious".
Great, short bedtime book.......2007-08-01
This is a short, fun book. Not much to it but the story is fun. I like to have short books around near bedtime so my son doesn't make me read through a long one like Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. The back jacket also has a mug shot of Mo Willems, the author. The picture looks a little like me and when I first read it to my son he thought it was me.

Karen Katz whips together another fun, colorful lift-the-flap adventure, in the form of a wee home-improvement project between a father and child.
Displaying the same cheerful delivery and bright artwork that Katz used in Where Is Baby's Belly Button? and Toes, Ears, and Nose!, Daddy and Me tells its tale with a simple setup and sturdy flaps to lift on each two-page spread: "I'm helping Dad make something special. First we saw the wood. Where is Daddy's saw?" Two easy-to-grab flaps open to reveal that Daddy's saw is "In the... closet." Pencils, nails, screwdrivers, and a paintbrush are likewise hiding out around the shop, and it's up to Daddy's cherubic, gender-indeterminate little helper to track them down--with some help from the reader, of course, lifting up work gloves, a tool box lid, some paint cans, and a newspaper.
We finally find out what project Daddy had planned (which also explains why a cute chestnut puppy has been helping the helper all along): "At last we are finished. We made a doghouse for Henry! But where is Henry?" Readers get to lift one more flap to find out. (Baby to preschool) --Paul Hughes
Book Description
Daddy is making a special project. Help him find the tools he needs by looking under the oversized flaps. Working with Daddy is so much fun!
Customer Reviews:
Great book!.......2007-08-27
My son and my husband love this book. The flaps are easy to lift and the story is easy to understand. Highly recommend it!
Cute book.......2007-07-15
Ordered this book because we have similar ones from the same author/theme.
It was cute but I was a little disappointed how the daddy was building something...not all dads are like that & a dad is certainly not going to teach a little girl that (in most cases). The 'Grandpa & Me' book has them making pizza which is much cuter than the 'Daddy & Me'. Obviously not Amazon's fault...the book was prompt & nice.
Very Cute.......2007-07-10
Great book for father's to read to their children...especially if they work with tools. My daughter loves it.
Never met a baby who doesn't respond to Karen Katz.......2007-04-04
My children loved all of Karen Katz's books when they were infants and continue to enjoy them even now at 2 and 4. At the advice of my pediatrician, I read to my children from day 1. These books were a great tool to interest my children in reading at a young age. I give Karen Katz books to all of my friends as a gift when they have a baby and I have been told their children all love them too.
Great for dad and toddler!.......2007-03-17
We are very happy with this book. Although it is a little bit stereotyped, it has been great when dad and son are home together. We have other books from this author and collection and really enjoy them. It is a nice addition to our learning collection.

Take your average guide for new mothers, chuck most of the stuff about breast feeding and ditch the deep background research and stats, then generously pepper with illustrations and burley humor and what do you have? Your average guide for new fathers. Be Prepared follows that template pretty closely, and that's really quite an acceptable thing. Yes, there's a bit too much emphasis here on broadly drawn manly stuff like changing a diaper at a ballgame, but there's also heaps of useful advice that's cleverly and efficiently presented for pops who, despite their best intentions, really aren't prepared to dig into encyclopedia-sized tomes. The basics (childproofing, bathing, feeding, entertaining) intermix with nifty sidebars (homemade bath toys, foods to never give your baby, exercises for dads) in easy-to-peruse chapters organized according to the age of the offspring up to age 1. There are more thorough how-to guides for new dads, but for most men moving into fatherhood, Be Prepared will fill the bill. --Steven Stolder
Book Description
An indispensable survival manual for guys entering the trenches of fatherhood, Be Prepared is loaded with one-of-a-kind insights, MacGyver-esque tips and tricks, and no-nonsense advice for mastering the first year as a dad.
Finally, a book that teaches men all the things they really need to know about fatherhood...including how to:
change a baby at a packed sports stadium
create a decoy drawer full of old wallets, remote controls, and cell phones to throw baby off the scent of your real gear
stay awake (or at least upright) at work
babyproof a hotel room in four minutes flat
construct an emergency diaper out of a towel, a sock, and duct tape
Packed with helpful diagrams and detailed instructions, and delivered with a wry sense of humor, Be Prepared is the ultimate guide for sleep-deprived, applesauce-covered fathers everywhere.

Must have for new dads.......2007-08-24
Wryly hilarious and filled with excellent tips, this is an essential guide to the strange world of becoming your father. I love the 50's-esque illustrations, and the information is well-presented. A great book for those rare private moments in the smallest room in the house.
A must for new dads.......2007-08-23
This book is hysterical. Think Boy Scout handbook meets parenting advice. My husband would read this book and chuckle (see "Evolution of the Boppy"). It's the only parenting book that he has read from cover to cover. The book has great, practical suggestions, but presents it in a fun, unassuming way. We've purchased a copy for all of our friends that are expecting their first child.
Exactly what a man needs.......2007-08-09
My husband is about to become a father and has never even touched a baby, much less cared for one. He was freaking out about all of the responsibilities, and this book calmed him. It explains the simplest tasks, like holding a baby, changing a diaper, burping, etc, all in a no-nonsense way. It's simplistic enough, and amusing enough for men to understand and actually read. I read it myself and learned a thing or two. There are great suggestions for babies that won't stop crying, what to do when you run out of diapers, how to help out your torn-up, exhausted wife who just gave birth.... it's everything a man needs to know.
great advice.......2007-07-31
this book made me laugh about a subject I was very nervous about as I was about to become a first time father. Not sure if I used any of the advice, but it has some good and entertaining stuff.
A Must-Read for Expecting Fathers.......2007-07-21
I know you are not supposed to "judge a book by its cover", but spending a good part of my childhood in the Boy Scouts is probably what encouraged me to pick up this book. It looks like a Boy Scout manual and the illustrations inside are reminiscent of old school Scout manuals from my childhood. The information, however, is much more useful than anything that I ever learned from one of those old books. Also, this book is much more humorous. This book is a very comforting and funny way to learn some of the things that aren't necessarily mentioned in some of the other pregnancy books.
I would definitely recomend this book to any soon-to-be father (or mother for that matter). I've already talked several of my friends into buying it, and they all agree that this one is a keeper!

Among the greatest charms of children is their ability to view a simple activity as a magical adventure. Such as a walk in the woods late at night. Jane Yolen captures this wonderment in a book whose charm rises from its simplicity. "It was late one winter night, long past my bedtime, when Pa and I went owling." The two walked through the woods with nothing but hope and each other in a journey that will fascinate many a child. John Schoenherr's illustrations help bring richness to the countryside adventure. The book won the 1988 Caldecott Medal.

Poetic with Beautiful Illustrations.......2007-09-16
Words are not enough to describe this beautifully written and illustrated book. You should experience the descriptive, poetic words and haunting drawings of a young boys rite of passage. All ages would enjoy the well told story. This is a must read!
Owl Moon
Great Kid's book.......2007-04-19
My grandaughter fell in love with this book from the library and Granpa had to buy it for her birthday. It is very well illustrated and well written, Granpa never tires of reading it to her, as she never tires of hearing it. In a market filled with children's books of dubious merit or worth, this is well worth it, to read, to buy, to have in the library of a young reader on her way to a lifetime of reading.
Perfect Bedtime Story.......2007-01-05
I ordered this book based on the reviews found on amazon. I was looking for a nature oriented book for my 2 year old son. This has become, by far, one of our favorite family bedtime stories. The illustrations are beautiful. The story is heart warming and real. My husband loves to read it as much as I do. This is a classic in our library and will remain so for many, many years.
Worthy of an Award - a review of "Owl Moon".......2006-11-19
I like Jane Yolen's work - the children do too (lol). But Owl Moon is probably the most poetic of her works that we have read. The word choice and imagery is wonderful; soft and soothing. You can hear the crunch of snow, and feel the biting cold.
Like the others I give it 5 stars, and would add that it makes for a good bed-time book.
Five Stars. Top notch Read-aloud. Artwork is nice, in darker shades than Yolen's other works. Perhaps not quite as nice in detail, but well suited to the story.
Teacher's Favorite.......2006-11-07
I love this book! It has also been loved by my pre K students every year. I always look forward to reading it to my class and I can't say that about a lot of preschool literature. This story takes my suburban kids on an adventure that, unfortunately, many of them will never experience. It's educational, exciting, and a little spooky (but not too much). Don't hesitate to add it to your collection.

Every Christian Man Should Read.......2007-05-09
This book full of practical advice that can be easily applied in today's separated world. The man, as husband, father and head of the family unit is divinely responsible for the leadership, love, protection and mentoring of our family and is further responsible to other men in the body of Christ for the example he sets. This non-condemning book speaks from understanding and love about the unique sins men face; and, about how accountability and fellowship provide a valuable tool for all Christian men seeking to lead a healthy, happy and blessed life according to the Lord's word. I recommend this book for any man, regardless of his personal maturity in Christ, as a guidebook for saving himself, his family and his soul.
Classic by Farrar!.......2006-05-23
I've read several Christian books encouraging men to celebrate their masculinity, to consecrate themselves to marriage, and to conduct themselves as servant leaders. This title however, far surpasses the others I have read. Farrar through many humorous stories and Divinely-guided insight, reaches deeper into the heart of the Christian man than many other writers do. I consider this title to be the classic work by Farrar.
We need more writers like Steve Farrar, who stir the heart and soul of Christian men to be all they can be for their God, their wives, and their children.
Better than "Finishing Strong".......2006-04-28
He uses too many military and sports illustrations. He tends to generalize about culture. He uses some Christian Psychological and sociological studies. I mean, who cares? If you don't know how the surveys are taken and what questions they ask, what can you tell from them? Anyway, my biggest beef is that he does not talk about about how Christians should function within the Church. Raising a family should be done within the family of families, which is the church. It should not solely be the duty of the lone point man on patrol. I have these same criticisms about "Finishing Strong." However, this book is not as gimicky or poorly written as finishing strong. He gives some interesting advice about "habits of the heart." He makes me look at my own walk with God and how I can do better, which is the purpose of this book. Christians need to be encourage on how to pass on their faith to the next generation. I might even read this book again. I would never do that with "Finishing Strong."
I marginally recommend this book to young fathers. We read this in our small group and everybody else liked it so I am bumping it up to four stars.
Excellent resource for Men.......2006-03-09
I am surprised by some of the reviews here. The book is written in plain language and is very direct in pointing out that men, are failing to fulfill there roll as God intended. It then gives excellent guidance on how take a stand for your family. I have given this book to fellow Christians and those who are not believers, and never have heard anything but positive feedback. In addition to this I have lead men in this study as a group and the results have been wonderful. If you are not REALLY interested at looking objectively / critically at yourself, then don't buy it. Some reviewers here seem unable to move toward accountability. Another reviewer made comment that the book was racist, in that it mentions many current african american families as lacking fathers in the home. As a black man, I realize the truth is hard to take. This is NOT offensive, but enlightening. Great book, and current edition has study guide that is helpful as well.
Like a good movie, you'll want to experience this again and again........2005-09-15
I have read the other reviews of Point Man. I personally disagree with the negative reviews and subscribe instead to the positive ones, as this book has been a most influential read. (have read it 3x and will do so again.) The author puts forth the premise that the family is one of God's gifts, and that the family unit is one of the most influential means for learning God's love/initiating a relationship with Jesus Christ that covers multiple generations/ensuring the continuity of faith. So where is Satan's most effective battle...the family. And how to most effectively neutralize the family...eliminate the point man (i.e-eliminate the Godly effectiveness of the man; destroy the bond between husband and wife/father and child...) I recently took this book to China with me (along with my Bible) for a 3rd reading on the 14 hour flight. Showed it to my Chinese national guide who was about to become a father for the 1st time. He couldn't read it fast enough and couldn't thank me enough for introducing him with such valuable guidance.

Delightful journey.......2007-09-21
This is a delightful story that Natalie Danford has given us. The journey both across the miles and across the years is enticing, characters most believable. I read a review of this book many months ago and finally rewarded myself with the book. It would make a good movie as well, as we will probably see in the future.
Fabulous in every way!.......2007-07-10
Wonderful story, wonderful characters, plus a lot of interesting info about the Italian city of Urbino, about which I knew very little. If you love Italy -- or just good fiction -- you'll love this.
Very good, I agree with previous reviews.......2007-06-07
Well-written, intriguing book...one caution, if you have a soft spot for cats, as I do, be forewarned.
inheritance.......2007-04-05
This is a generally very well-written and appealing novel. The main character is Olivia, a young American teacher. Upon her father's death, she discovers in his nightstand a 50 year old deed to a house in her father's native Italian village of Urbino. Her father (Luigi) emigrated from Italy to America under mysterious circumstances shortly following World War II. The house had been deeded to Luigi's father During World War II by a local Jewish family to prevent confiscation by the Nazis with the expectation it would be returned to this family following the war. Discovery of the deed leads Olivia to return to Urbino, not only to discover her roots, but also to claim ownership of the house and profit from its sale. There she learns of an apparent betrayal of the Jewish family by her father.
Natalie Danford, the author, effectively alternates chapters between Olivia's quest and her father's past life. My major annoyance with this book is that the author has an unfortunate tendency to lapse into romance novel prose ("she'd noticed last night when they'd been naked that he had just the right amount of (chest) hair"). However, the plot is extremely clever, the characters intriguing and well-developed, and there are interesting cultural and historical angles to the book. Finally, the conclusion of the book, in particular, is ingenious and satistfying.
A Fabulous read by a new author.......2007-02-21
Though easily read in a day or two, I slowed my pace to savor every word. Luigi and Olivia lept off the page and I traveled with them to the United States and then back to Italy. For anyone who has ever wondered what life was like for their immigrant parent, this story provides insight.
