Book Description
The sleepless nights, 2 a.m. feedings, and endless diaper changes have finally ended. Now the real fun begins! From temper tantrums to toilet training, raising a toddler, a child between 1- and 4-years-old, brings its own set of challenges and questions — and Toddler 411 has the answers. Like its predecessor, the popular Baby 411, the book provides practical advice in a handy question-and-answer format that allows frantic parents to find information fast. Pediatrician Ari Brown and coauthor Denise Fields, both mothers, tackle toddlerhood with a reassuring, “been there, done that” attitude that puts parents’ minds at ease. Parents learn how to cope with a picky eater; raise a well-behaved child; potty train in just one day; what to look for in a preschool; what’s normal, what’s not, and what to do about it. Covering all aspects of a young child’s development, both physical and emotional, Toddler 411 offers the up-to-date, evidence-based guidance that today’s parents demand and deserve.

This really didn't have any answers. Basically it pointed out what I already know. Toddlers test. But they didn't have any basic strategies to work with. Just stories about how everyone is in the same boat. Great. But with a title like Toddler 411 you kind of expect "information". I didn't find this helpful. Although find it amusing that my 14 month old pulled the book from the table and destroyed it. Now that was a picture for the photo albums!
Covers all the bases.......2007-09-03
I am a mom of 19 month old girl, and ordered this book a month ago. I've read it cover to cover, and in addition to it being packed full of useful information, I found it very entertaining.
There are a few things you should know before buying the book though - one of the authors is a spokesperson for the AAP and tows the line for the current advice the AAP is distributing. This is fine by me because personally, I have no trust issues with the AAP, but I realize some parents do. Along the same lines, this author is very pro-vaccine (which I am too, so I didn't have any difficulty with that), so if you are looking for an objective discussion of the potential pros and cons, you won't find it here. However, I found the discussion of vaccines to be very thorough and very informative - they go over each individual vaccine and the disease it vaccinates against, and the reasons why the vaccine exists.
Overall, I have found it to be a very useful, informative guide on the basics of toddler health and well-being. I would recommend it to anyone with a toddler aged child.
JUST THE FACTS!.......2007-08-13
I have a 15 mo old and I'm a first time mom. THis book has some great information and it tells it like it is. No fluff, just the facts. It's been great so far and I've needed it quite a bit. I wish I had time to read it from cover to cover!
Toddler Bible.......2007-08-06
We purchased this book about 3 months ago and are now using it like a "Toddler Bible". It has real world feedback and suggestions on a vast array of situations. Well worth the money...good job Denise!
BUY THIS BOOK! IT'S A MANUAL FOR TODDLERS!!.......2007-07-27
I am in love with this book!! It's exactly what I've been looking for and I needed this for a long time!! I'm the kind of person who needs someone to say "okay, do this with your kid and he'll listen" or do this and that. I'm not good at taking initiative , so this book is awesome. I think it covers EVERY SINGLE question any mother would ever have. It relates to us in too many ways, I'm like "okay, why can I relate to all of these questions??" Something is wrong if I can relate to everything in here haha. But I would HIGHLY recommend it to any parent whether or not you're struggling in any area of the toddler stage. I never heard of the baby bargain book until I bought this one, so without even reading that one I'd highly recommend it if it's even half as good as this one. They say kids don't come with instructions, well now they do! Get this book!!

Book Description
For children with sensory integration issues-those who have difficulty processing everyday sensations and exhibit unusual behaviors such as avoiding or seeking out touch, movement, sounds, and sights-this groundbreaking book is an invaluable resource. Long thought to affect only autistic children, or mistaken for ADHD, SI dysfunction is finally being recognized as a separate condition. Coauthored by a pediatric occupational therapist and a parent of a child with SI dysfunction, Raising a Sensory Smart Child is as warm and accessible as it is authoritative and detailed and is an indispensable guide for parents, therapists, and teachers who will turn to it again and again.

Rich Content.......2007-09-27
I like the detailed listing of all the different kinds of conditions, which puts things in perspective. It has also helped me weed through so much of the hype found on various quack web sites. I shared the book with my mother-in-law and she has found it useful too. This book is informative.
Advice from the "trenches".......2007-09-21
I've been researching this subject for some time and fighting for almost 3 years to get my child tested for and receive SI Therapy....this is a great book from people who REALLY get it!
They are well educated on Sensory Integration Dysfunction.......2007-08-21
Don't listen to the reviewer who only gave this book one star. It is full of knowledgable insight and tons of helpful information. This book is a good one for parents who are just learning about SPD. Sensory Processing Disorders are real and he needs to educate himself about them. I am the parent of a child who overcame her sensory integration dysfunction. Early intervention is key. There are many therapies available to help. Finding therapists who are knowledable of it is very important. This book leads you in the right direction. If I would have listened to naysayers like this, my daughter would not be the happy, healthy, and outgoing young lady she is today! Meghan's World: The Story of One Girl's Triumph over Sensory Processing Disorder
Power for Parents.......2007-08-15
This book empowers parents to support their children in positive ways on an on-going basis. Every therapist who treats children with sensory processing disorders owes it to the parents to recommend this book as a "must" for daily survival. glenda fuge, MS, OTR/L
Best book for SDI.......2007-06-19
Most books tell you what's wrong with your child. Well, most parents can write their own book in regards to that. This gives you tons of ideas of how to introduce tons of therapy to your child that's practical and fun. It's the best book for SI problems and solutions.

Understand your child without reading an ADHD reference.......2001-11-05
After 8 years of trying to understand my daughter, I found her in this book. I knew she thought differently, but all the professionals were stumped as to how to help her. I finally found this book and it was as if I saw my daughter for the first time. Not only did it identify her learning style perfectly, I was able to see how that learning style formed her personality and how she reacted, positively and negatively, to different situations. As a parent, that understanding has allowed me to be more proactive with her education and more patient in my parenting. I recommend this book to anyone, especially those parents or caregiving professionals who know there's more to their child than what is being seen.
Tremendous help in understanding my children.......2000-03-19
Until I read this book I just couldn't understand how to relate to my young son. Though I can't say that I agree with everything in this book, it was a huge help in learning how my son was figuring out his world. He learns through his eyes! My older son and I learn through our ears. I thought everyone did until I read this book. It is just as valid to learn through your eyes or your fingers or your movements as it is through your ears. Every parent and teacher should read this book.
Opened my eyes to my child's mind!.......1998-10-20
I picked up this book from an LLL meeting's private library, just for something to read for the month. I never imagined that it was going to change the way I looked at my child! In learning my child's thought pattern (and mine and my husband's as well) I not only discovered how he learns, but reasons for the ways he behaves. When reading the description of a typical person with my child's thought pattern, it was as though the author was describing my child exactly! I now understand such behaviors in my child as never having an appetite, not enjoying coloring, although he can very nicely, being able to memorize things he hears with seemingly no effort at all, talking and asking questions from the moment he wakes up untill he is asleep, and being timid about defending himself physically even when necessary. This book also enlightened me to the fact that my thought pattern and my son's will fit perfectly while I endevor to school him at home, as I enjoy talking and enlightening people, and he learns easiest through hearing. Never before has a book influenced my life in such strong and beneficial way. I have recommended this book to every parent I know, and strongly to those that have chosen as I have to educate their children at home. It is true that every child is smart in their own way and it is important to understand this in order to help each child learn to lead a productive life.
Must read for all educators and parents!.......1997-08-26
A "typing" scheme on how we learn (geared towards children). People understand things in differing ways not because of the intelligience but rather because of the process of how their minds work. This book is full of practical ideas to connect with children

Book Description
Growing up with two father figures, a Rich Dad and a Poor Dad, Robert T. Kiyosaki understood well the importance of financial planning. In this easy-to-read parenting guide, Kiyosaki and co-author Sharon Lechter design a step-by-step guide to moms and dads to explain to their children the basics of our financial economythe employees, the self-employed, the business owners, and the investors. The authors explain that providing children with financial problem-solving skills, can help to ensure a profitable future.
Download Description
RICH DAD'S RICH KID, SMART KID is written for parents who value education, want to give their child a financial and academic head start in life, and are willing to take an active role to make it happen. In the Information Age, a good education is more important than ever. But the current educational system may not be providing all the information your child needs. This book was designed to fill in the gaps, to help you give your child the same inspiring and practical financial knowledge that Robert Kiyosaki's rich dad gave him. RICH KID, SMART KID will show you how to awaken your child's love of learning using the same methods that Robert's smart dad used to help Robert stay in school, even though he had bad grades and often wanted to drop out. And RICH KID, SMART KID will open doors that you never knew existed, enabling you to pass down the skills and understanding your child will use for the rest of his or her life.
Customer Reviews:
A useful resource, worth the price.......2007-08-28
If you've read Robert T Kiyosaki's other books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, the ideas presented in Rich Kid Smart Kid will probably not be new to you. However, the information is reorganised to focus on applying the Rich Dad concepts to the task of educating your child, which allows this book to remain a useful resource- even if it isn't 100% new.
Most helpful, in my opinion, are the parent-child interactive activities recommended by the book. For example, one suggestion is to take your child to the bank and ask the banker what interest rate they pay on savings as well as what they charge to borrow. Without the need to understand complicated math formulas, your child will quickly see that banks charge more than they pay, which will hopefully prompt questions in the mind of your child. Those questions will inspire your child to get answers that inevitably increase your child's financial intelligence.
One knock I often hear about this book, or any self-help title for that matter, is that the ideas are obvious. Some people wish to argue that because a concept is simple it is not useful. I couldn't disagree more. I try to judge the value of a thing by whether or not I get enough out of it to justify the cost, be it in dollars or time. If you cannot get the purchase price of this book back out of it in value, then you just aren't trying very hard.
While some of the concepts may seem obvious or simple in nature, it is the application of these concepts that produces real results. Some of the most complicated subjects in our world can involve very simple ideas. Think "What goes up, must come down." Simple, yes, but the practical applications involving gravity occupy a great deal of study time among physicists of the world.
My point is simple. This book gives you a variety of ideas and suggestions that will help you improve your child's financial education, but YOU have to be the one to do the work. Is it the world's greatest book and ultimate problem solver in the universe? No. Is it worth the purchase price? Without a doubt, absolutely yes.
Best Book My Daughter Has Read!.......2007-02-01
The title is her words not mine. I bought this book thinking that she might get through the first 3 or 4 chapters before she put it away in favor of her school work. Instead she carries it with her to school and reads it when she finishes her work. One of her teachers asked her about the book and after my daughter finished raving about it the teacher decided to get a copy for her self. That teacher now uses the book and it's principles in her classes.
What better testimony about a book than it is now being used in an academic setting?
My daughter has also surprised me by asking financial questions when we are alone. I am now in the middle of a job hunt and she asked me questions about what my salary would be with a new company. She listened intently as I explained negotiations over salary once I was offered a job. I explained the different factors that went into determining what I would ask for as a salary, such as distance to the new job, what others were making doing the same job, and benefits such as medical, dental, and of course vacation time. For an 11 year old she had an amazing grasp of what I was talking about. I believe this understanding came from reading this book. My son on the other hand, who is 24, is still working in a dead-end job making minimum wage. I gave him "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and the cover has never been broken.
Buy this book for your kids; it is well worth the "investment" to teach kids how money works. Do it now while they are young.
where is the information?.......2006-11-04
This isn't really a 260 page book, it's a 5 page pamphlet that repeats itself over and over.
Really there is nothing new here if you've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, beyond a shameless marketing co-promote for his games, other books and a few of his friends.
Overall I thought Rich Dad Poor Dad was a pretty good book. This book however made me realize that Mr. Kiyosaki really has discovered the secret to becoming rich - write one half way decent book and then milk it as long as you can with other related books and products.
Great audio book!.......2006-03-21
Great audio book. Gives you information to help you teach your kid about money, and ways to keep you from over indulging your kids.
Rich Dad's Rich Kid by Kiyosaki.......2005-06-10
The author suggests that parents empower children to take control
of their finances early in life. The author challenges us to turn
education about money into wealth and cash flow. Children are
encouraged to seek professional careers and to begin small
businesses to ensure cash flow well into retirement. The author's
Kolbe Index seeks to train people to analyze facts, formulate
follow-up scenarios, start projects quickly/efficiently and implement rational solutions devoid of analysis paralysis problems.
This work is well worth the money for the information content
provided.

Great.......2007-09-21
I loved the book. I would suggest it to all parents. If you are too lazy to build the crawling track then I don't know why you would read the book anyways. I suggest you watch some late night paid programming that guarantees the impossible with no work.
Impractical, but Interesting.......2007-09-04
Few modern, working parents (the author advocates against working mothers, by the way) have the time or resources to build the variety of apparatuses required for this program. Crawling track? Neck brace? Unlikely for most of us. Our parental instinct also (wisely) makes us wary of some of the more dangerous activities promoted by the author.
The book does, however, give readers some interesting tools for evaluating their babies' reflexes and developmental responses at a depth well beyond what pediatricians assess in routine visits. And it offers a variety of activities (again, employ your parental discretion) designed to demonstrate and build upon babies' natural abilities, as well as their desire to bond with their parents.
If you pick and choose, this book offers some valuable information and interesting activities. But take it all with a grain of salt....
Cant judge a book by its cover.......2007-09-03
This book is cheesy, outdated, (1970's pictures) and absolutely misrepresents what it's all about. A great portion of the passages are dedicated to "your brain damaged baby", which is not menntioned anywhere on the front or back cover. Something is not quite right with this book and I cant quite place my finger on it.
TRULY REGRET BUYING THIS BOOK!.......2007-08-08
This Book is more For a book to be use in Dr Doman's Class! IF you decide to go to their school!
If they don't come up with instructional DVD you should forget about buying this book because it is definatelt NOT user friendly!
I really want my money back!
good book.......2007-06-12
I own many of the institutes books, and this one has the missing piece of information I have been looking for- what activities to do with a newborn-1 year old. It was an interesting read for anyone interested in child development.

Ari Brown draws on her work as a full-time pediatrician and mother, and Denise Fields brings her practical experience as the mother of two boys to this thorough guide to baby's crucial first year. It helps modern parents make educated decisions on breastfeeding, supplemental newborn screening, and new vaccines. The book empowers parents with the medical information they need to become not only good parents but good partners in their child's health.

This is the best book a parent could have.......2007-09-21
I was recommended this book from my hospital. I love this book. I look at it every time I questions something about my baby. It has helped me so much. It's my baby bible. I would strongly recommend it to all parents. It has also saved many phone calls to my pediatrician. I now buy it for all my expecting friends.
Must have for new parents-to-be........2007-09-01
Great reference book! Every new parent should have this. It is fairly objective with a smattering of professional opinions. Easy to read. I read it front to back, and now refer to it as a reference for specific questions and situation that arise as my child grows.
Great Go to / Baby Bible .......2007-08-29
Comprehensive, funny and easy to read. I needed it and it was there for me!
Great for Basics on What to Expect.......2007-08-23
Not having much time for extensive research and reading a library of books, I'm enjoying working through this book. It's matter-of-fact, blunt, but funny, too. While I'm taking a laid back and open minded approach to what having 2 new babies will be like (twins), this book is definitely helping to relieve some of my anxiety of the unexpected, too. Is the dad-to-be not reading up too much on what to expect?? I recommend this book. It's easy reading that goes quickly, yet manages to be very informing, too.
terrific resource for first time moms!.......2007-08-17
i discovered this book in the waiting room of my ob/gyn office. i was flipping through it one day while i was waiting for my appointment while i was pregnant with my first child. i immediately went out and bought a copy. this book is a tremendous resource - especially if you are a first time mom. it kept me from calling the pediatrician's office about a dozen times because i could figure out what was going on with my child by reading about symptoms and conditions described in the book. i refer to it all the time. and i have several pregnant girlfriends now - all of whom i've purchased this book for as a gift. i can't endorse it highly enough!

Thought provoking and educational.......2006-01-27
Reviewed by Irene Watson for Reader Views (1/06)
Much has been written about sexuality as well as theories have been formed about it. Most people seem to be curious about sexuality and want to explore the mysteries that are attached. However, not much has been revealed about the "why" certain behaviors occur until Dr. Aline Zoldbrod published her book "Sex Smart: How Your Childhood Shaped Your Sexual Life and What to do About it."
Zoldbrod explores the multidimensional nature of human sexuality by presenting information through a cognitive base as well as emphasizing skills in communication and self-awareness. She covers sexuality from biological, moral, psychological, and social perspectives with research, client experiences, and theory.
According to Zoldbrod, what is considered as "normal" sexual behavior is typically based on observations made of family and society. She explains that how we are treated or what parameters are set upon us during our childhood reflects on sexual development. Touch, trust, feeling good about the body as well as oneself are just of the few dynamics that shape the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.
"Sex Smart" gives the reader the opportunity to analyze, reflect, and come to terms with their own sexuality and behaviors through explanation and reading vignettes about experiences of others. After each chapter the reader can do exercises and self-assessments to become aware of their own issues and development. "Sex Smart" also gives the opportunity to examine the factors and decisions one has made in the past, and find ways to explore and replace them with new healthy patterns by re-writing the scripts brought down through the generations.
Although I highly recommend this book for every reader, it is necessary to note the importance of having a therapist at hand to discuss issues as they come during the reading and exercises of "Sex Smart." This is not a book to skim through in a day, nor is it a book to take lightly. It is a book that evokes much inner thought and exploration of behaviors and attitudes that have been framed within the identity of the reader.
Why had no one ever told me this before?!!!.......2006-01-06
For 15 years, I asked health care professionals, Why have I lost my interst in sex? Why do I love my husband as much as I do and yet increasingly fear intimacy with him? What's WRONG with ME?!! Until I read this book no one could give me the answers to questions I had given up asking. Dr. Zolbrod's one-on-one writing style and brief case studies helped me to see how much my parents attitude about their and my sexuality influenced me more the older I got and the longer I was married. The information within this book brought a level of understanding and new lines of communication my husband and I never had before. I have never been so grateful to find and read a book, and yes--this book changed my life.

Aline Zolbrod is a wonderful sex therapist. Turns out she's a wonderful writer too. Her book Sex Smart: How Your Childhood Shaped Your Sexual Life and What To Do About It is on my list of favorites. If you understand where you've come from, you can maximize where you're going. So accessible and easy to read. Wonderful suggestions for ways to be in the driver's seat of your sexuality.
Self-esteem about sexuality, enthusiasm for healthy sexual relationships-that's what this book is about. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
Wow! A review by Dr. Marianne Brandon.......2004-02-04
Wow! was my first reaction when reading Aline Zoldbrod's SexSmart. I am a clinical psychologist and certified sex therapist always in search of good reading material for my clients. SexSmart is tops on my list. On rare occasions I find a book that speaks the truth, dramatically enhancing a reader's understanding of self. If you buy this book, you are about to have this experience.
SexSmart isn't just another book on sexuality. SexSmart actually guides people through a personal understanding of who they are sexually - what a gift to readers wanting more for themselves and their sexuality. Readers can use this intensive exploration of how parental and social influences impact sexual expression to increase their current level of sexual satisfaction. It is in fact a book best read several times, as it is so full of great information. This is one of only a few books I keep available to my clients in the waiting room. I applaud Dr. Zoldbrod for a job well done!

Zoldbrod's *Sex Smart* Reviewed By Kathleen Logan Prince MSW
AASECT Certified Sex Therapist
For the vast majority of the young--from six months to eighteen years--sexuality is like a huge, unexplored continent. Each of us KNOWS that this mysterious, exciting, scary world is ours,
belongs to us. We know this from earliest times, when our own bodies--that do not lie--tell us, through powerful feelings and reactions, that there is a wonderfully rewarding world that is part of us. Inexplicably, our parents and important others, with their silence and shrouded denial, discourage us from exploration. The existence of sexuality is not exactly denied, it is treated as unlawful and we are reluctantly presented with the tip of the iceberg.
The result of this almost universal attitude is that even many
grown-ups remain uninformed about one of the most influential forces in our lives.
Dr. Aline P. Zoldbrod, an informed researcher and therapist in the world of sexuality, has written a marvelous guide to this unexplored world. She describes and explains all the various facts and practices of sexuality and turns this formerly dark continent into a healthy, known, and useful areas of life.
Dr. Zoldbrod explores nearly every aspect of sexuality and furnishes questionnaires to help the reader get personally specific about his or her own experiences, to clarify and help understand and deal with them.
She explores the spectrum of influences on sexual development from early, loving parenting to neglectful, abusive, and violent behavior. These descriptions are again equipped with detailed questions so the reader can relate to her and his own experience and make use of the suggestions about how to handle the associated feelings.
A few chapter headings suggest the inclusiveness of the book: The Touch of Love, The Foundation of Trust, Feeling Good About Your Body, What You Learned About Gender, Feeling Good About Yourself, The Dynamics of Power, Becoming a Social Person, Masturbation and Fantasy, The Changes of Adolescence, The Effects of Physical Violence on Sexuality.
This is a book you will read, and as you do, you will say to yourself, " I wish my parents had read this when I was young!"
As a couples and sex therapist who sees, every day, the consequences of sexual ignorance, I highly recommend this book.

Excellent book.......2007-02-27
I read this book and it helped me a lot raising my two kids. I refer to it occasionally still. It has a good chart system for instilling discipline and consequences that isn't too hard or complicated to use. I recommend it along with Parenting with Love and Logic.
The best discipline book I've seen.......2006-11-08
This book is meant to be used, and it is easy to implement the author's guidelines. This book is respectful and compassionate to the kids and their parents, offering tools for a parent to learn more about their child and to find ways to praise them and help them appreciate their "areas of brilliance." It also offers very easy tools for establishing clear and fair guidelines and consequences, tailored to each child's needs. I use the principles I learned from this book every day, and they work. The kid knows what is expected of him, and what to expect if he goofs. And instead of threatening your kid all day, you just dole out an x whenever he breaks a rule. Imagine, no more threats, and yet the kid gets some leeway because he doesn't get privileges removed until he breaks the rules three more times. As a mother of three, I can tell you it really works.

Book Description
The Summer Smarts series provides an enjoyable, substantive bridge between grades during the summer, when a child most needs a refresher! And because young children begin to anticipate going back to school and face the pressures and expectations of a higher, more difficult grade, Summer Smarts activity books are designed to offer them a fun way to increase their confidence and self-esteem. This new series of activity workbooks is designed to meet the demand for the growing in-home educational market. It is the only series to include a unique integration of material, combining elementary school subjects such as phonics, spelling, math, and geography into one friendly workbook. Offers engaging, motivational exercises that reinforce the skills and knowledge learned during the previous school year. Arranged in a logical sequence, the worksheets move progressively from basic concepts to more difficult ones. A carefully selected Book Section supports a literature-based approach.
Customer Reviews:
a cute, fun, child friendly workbook.......2007-07-19
This is a really cute workbook, filled with sweet illustrations and a diverse selection of excersises. The book starts with a section on "who am I" and continues with math excersises, easy science projects, geography quizes and language arts questionaires sprinkled randomly throughout the book. One of my favorite things about "Summer Smarts" is the reading selection. There are three main books to read through the summer with questions for your child to answer located at the back of the workbook. Other cute books are recomended throughout the workbook.
Having giving the book a glowing review I cannot say that my daughter agrees with me. She really dislikes worksheets in general and getting her to sit and do the excersises in this book has been next to impossible. The recomended reading is wonderful for reading to her, but they are far too difficult for her to read by herself. I purchased this book because she has been struggling in school and I thought this would help her keep from falling further behind this summer. I still recommend the book though, especially if you have the kind of child who enjoys working independantly. Like one of the other reviewers I agree that this book would be best for a child who is already doing well in school and who enjoys this sort of thing.
Keep Your Kids Engaged in Learning Over the Summer.......2007-06-27
I bought Summer Smarts along with another series called, Summer Bridge Activites. Both books support practice of school skills over the summer. I love how this book looks sort of like a coloring book. My son has enjoyed coloring the pages after he completes them. Unlike the other series I mentioned, this book also encourages critical thinking. My son and I have had great conversations while he was working on his pages. I think this is a great book for kids because it isn't too difficult or frustrating.
Great Preparation.......2005-08-24
As a former second grade teacher, I found this book an excellent preparation for second graders. There are many concepts and skills that are normally taught in late first grade or in second grade. The pages are well presented and have a fun element to them. The book would be appropriate to use throughout the second grade year as some of the sections may be somewhat difficult for before the school year starts. I bought it for a child who will start second grade this year and he loved it. His comment was that it was "pretty easy".
Summer Smarts - Second Grade.......2000-06-03
This book is perfect for a smart child waiting for second grade. It provides a chance to review basic skills needed in second grade without being boring or tiring. Other books of the same kind tend either to be too easy or to have too many exercises. A child who has worked hard needs some rest! This book also suggests titles for summer reading, which is great because summer reading are the ones that teach a child how nice it is to stop and read a book, and it also provides worksheets for four books. I would recommend this book to any student whose grades are C or above. For those children who are behind schedule, however, I would propose "Summer Bridge Activities" because it provides many more exercises.
